I recently ordered a Pillowsac Jr online and never got my cover. I was really confused with how online support was handling it AND they were telling me there was no way I could get. Not knowing where else to turn I went into the Menlo Park store. Even though he couldn't change my order I left the store with many options on how to get the cover I wanted without spending any extra money. I have wanted to shop at Lovesac for three years now. I always thought it was a bit too expensive. But now that I have bought it, I know why. it is well worth every penny you spend!! This store and it's customer service is as good as it gets!! The store has a great selection of pieces on the floor and the salespersons are exceptional!! You can't ask for more! I am a very indecisive person who happened to go to the store twice. First I met Sven who sat us down and spoke to us for 40-45 minutes. He explained how the sactionals work and what configuration would suit our needs the best. Also told us in great detail about the fabric and the ongoing deals. He drew us designs on paper with measurements but we weren't sure. So we got back home, took more measurements and returned to the store in a couple of weeks. This time we wanted a different configuration. We met with Jay. He was unbelievable too!!! He also painstakingly made various designs on paper with measurements and the floor plan. He even gave us numerous ideas on how to plan the room around our couch - from where to put the TV and bookcase etc!! This was definitely so unexpected. Customer service from these guys was simply uhmazzzing!!! After spending two hours we finally decided on a config and ordered the couch. Once we received the couch we didn't like the configuration as much as we thought we would. Jay and Sven graciously offered to come by all the way to Hoboken and figure out what would work the best for us and put it all together for us. Who does that?? Seriously!! After their visit we ended up ordering another side and we couldn't be happier!! At first I wasn't able to justify my very expensive purchase. I have a bunch of LOVESAC furniture that I bought at the Bridgewater location, but I got a coupon specific to this loacation and I went in to use the coupon. THE staff here is amazing. WOMEN, as opposed to the all male staff I dealt with in Bridgewater. Buying things from women is always good. It tends to make me feel more at ease, especially with big purchases. Ask for Red or Lindsey !!!! they were both incredibly helpful. When I was in this location, I was most interested in investing in new covers. I made a mistake when I bought the basic covers. Now that I have had them I regret not spending the extra money on custom covers. They had some purple ones on a display model and they are so beautiful! I had them price them ourt for me but I am going to have to wait for a sale because the covers, they are expensive. Go the extra mile to begin with and you won't be stuck with the basic ones wanting to upgrade like I am. I had been looking at LOVESAC funiture for over 10 years before I bought it, thinking that it was a fad and that it would not be around for long- I was wrong. Something that looks so gimmicky does not seem like it is going to deliver in terms of what it is meant to offer- durability, practicality and flexibility- BUT IT ACTUALLY DOES!!!!! When I went in to this location I was impressed with how they used these little models to show me how to rearrange my furniture. LOVESAC furniture is expensive, but in my opinion the expense is justified because of the problems that it solves. I have had to buy new furniture because I moved (one time I had to leave a couch in my basement for the entire time I lived in that apartment because it would not fit into any doorway! This would not happen with LOVESAC furniture because you can take it apart and put it back together in any way you like. LOVESAC furniture can be reconfigured to fit a new space by moving the pieces around! This furniture is really friggin practical. Design triumphs over age old problems. This furniture is the future. LOVESAC was recommended for rental property furniture because of its versatility but also because it allowed you to remove the covers and wash them- making cleaning much easier than regular furniture. My most thrifty friend has had LOVESAC furniture for 4 years and she said that it has been worth the money. We have had our furniture now for a little less than a year. and it is the most comfortable furniture we have ever had. We have two sofas in the deep side configuration, making it much more roomy than any other sofa available. The cushions seem to be keeping their shape, and I know if we don't like what we have going on, we can change it by adding more pieces or rearranging the ones we have at any time. If you are on the fence about this stuff, I highly recommend just going ahead and buying it. I wish I had bought it ten years ago when I first saw it. I would probably still have it!!!! read more

Let me tell you about this store and it's products. The store. What a great store. The sales staff are great. I worked with Sven and another fellow who's name I regretfully forget. I think the thing I like the best was there was no pressure. They both seemed to have the attitude that they knew the product was of quality and worth the price. They politely and patiently walk me through the process and although the Sac I bought was pricey the no interest financing made the purchase very easy. The product. What a wacky concept but it works. I bought a very large Sac. I'm not sure if it's the largest but it has to be one of the largest. It came with a stool and a drink holder. They brought it out to my car. It comes in a bag condensed. I figure they must suck all the air out and squeeze it into a large very sturdy duffle bag. When I removed it from the bag it took about 2 days to expand to its full size. My girlfriend and I watch TV in it and fit very comfortably. I highly recommend this product and the store. read more

Never been in the store. Once my friends & i walked in this lady was so rude & said, "you have five minutes." She didnt even say it in a nice way. So we were like wow okay. THEN, this guy sitting there, on his phone with his air pods in says "you guys got to get out, you guys need to go." We weren't doing anything wrong, we sat on the love sacs & we're actually interested in buying one so we wanted to see how comfortable they were. Absolutely so rude. Get these employees to have a nicer approach or get some new employees. Don't talk down to customers just because they are younger than you, disgusting. read more

On a whim (at least to me, maybe the wife had other plans) we went into the Lovesac store in the mall and she saw the Supersac in fox phur. She sat down and loved it. Now, those of you who don't know my wife, she asks a lot of questions, whether we're at a restaurant, clothing store, pretty much anyplace. The sales staff were very patient with her and answered all her questions. I'm guessing since it's a furniture store, albeit not your ordinary furniture store, they get a lot of people who come to look, sit down and try the furniture and leave. We spent at least 45 min trying to decide what size Sacs we wanted, how many and what color. They had a sale going on, so we decided to pick the colors that were on sale, and we decided to get 2 of the Supersacs, instead of one Supersac and one Moviesac (a little smaller), because we would always be fighting for who got to sit in the bigger one (me!). They explained how they are packaged, all squished down into their own duffel bag, but we weren't done shopping for the day, so they said to bring the car to a specific mall entrance, call them and they would meet us there in 5 min. So we went about the rest of our day, had dinner and then went to get the sac's. Sure enough, they brought them out on dolly's and helped get them into the car. The service at this store was really great. Very laid back and not pushy while the knowledge of the staff was great. If they don't know an answer, they call their manager, even after the mall closes (we were there that long asking questions) and get answers. Jay and Sven followed up with me via email and let me know about new sales, as I requested. We were able to get a limited edition sactional at a great price thanks to these two. I just got a lovesac catalog in the mail and remembered I had never written a review so here it goes.. A year ago my apartment caught fire. It was a giant inconvenient mess but luckily nobody was hurt and most of my stuff was salvageable. My couch, however, didn't make it so couch shopping we went. Jay was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the products and spent a ton of time with us while we chose what we wanted. When he found out why I was couch shopping he did everything in his power to make sure I had my couch ASAP. Despite a few hiccups with shipping my covers I really can't say enough about the folks I worked with throughout the whole process. They were kind, attentive, and kept me in the loop every step of the way. The couch itself is hands down the coolest thing ever. If you liked legos as a kid, the sactionals are totally your jam; we got the couch knowing we would be moving in a few months and having the freedom to reconfigure it to work with our new space was amazing. Actually moving it was a breeze since it breaks down into pieces that are really easy to carry. Also, as people who have guests over all the time, the ability to turn the couch into a full size bed that's about as comfortable as a real bed is great. Besides being mind-bendingly cool, the sactionals are extremely comfortable, attractive, and durable. A year in and the couch still looks and feels phenomenal despite constant use from 4 adults and a very satisfied kitty. While I haven't fully washed the covers yet they're easy to vacuum and cleaning the occasional spill is a breeze. In fact, we love the damn couch so much we went back a few months later and got a CitySac to go with it. The sac is also incredibly comfortable and fits one or two (very cozy) adults. It doesn't look like some cheap beanbag and the stylish covers make sure it will never be mistaken for kid or dorm furniture. Okay. This has already gone on too long. Tl;dr! The guys and gals at the menlo park mall store are AMAZING. The couches and sacs are high quality, comfortable, and cool as hell. I recommend them to folks constantly, have friends who have gotten their own sacs because of mine, and would throw more of my money at them in a heartbeat if I needed anything else. read more

I got my Lovesac a few months ago from this store. Regardless of the time passed, I still had to write about my wonderful experience! Originally, my intentions of going into the store was only to check out the color that was being offered online for an amazing deal with the Pillowsac. I was asked if I needed help, so I explained the situation. They showed me the color and unfortunately I hated it. For the next hour, the employees went above and beyond to make sure I left there with all of the items that the deal online offered, for the same price, and in a color I loved! We were finishing our basement and have a very narrow stairway leading down so we had to be creative in what furniture we purchased. Lovesac was the answer, the furniture looked great and was easy to assemble and configure to our space. THEN we got flooded during Sandy! We went back and spoke to Sven. We decided to order their outdoor furniture for indoors in the hopes that it will handle any water/moisture issues in the future, plus if we need to clear out the basement ahead of future storms we can easily do so. Now, we were buying at the end of the season so inventory was limited but Sven went ABOVE and beyond, calling other stores and warehouses to get us what we needed. I walked in knowing that the item I was looking for was sold out online and in the Bridgewater Love Sac. I was not expecting to actually get the footsac I was looking for but I figured I would ask anyway since I wanted to give it to my boyfriend for his birthday. The salesman, Jay told me it was a long shot, but he said he would check other stores' inventory for the specific item. After multiple phone calls he was able to locate one that was half way across the country. He had that store ship it to my house, just in time to be able to give it to my boyfriend as a gift.
