DO NOT GO HERE! I had two cavities filled (I've only ever had one other cavity in my life, but pregnancy got the best of my teeth this time) and now it's been over two months since the fillings and I am still in pain. I went back, they just shaved my teeth down (not just the ones with the fillings) and called it good. Obviously that didn't do anything. After that, I switched to a different dentist who has discovered that the fillings were still strangely tall and one has since become infected. Lovett Dental will not have any mercy since everything up to death is covered under a waiver they have you sign before you receive any work. That should have been a red flag. Please save yourself months of pain, a dozen extra appointments, and hundreds of extra dollars in the long run. Go to someone capable. read more

Very satisfied with the experience! My husband went in for an emergency surgery. We arrived and they immediately started on paperwork (bill, work excuse letter that explained in detail of his restrictions) they went over the steps to follow so recovery would be successful and quick. New dentist Dr. Adam is amazing. I was terrified going in because I had never had a tooth pulled and I was scheduled to have two pulled in the back. I had been before when Dr.Fann was there for a consult but she no longer is here. I can't review Dr.Fann but Dr.Adam made the experience fantastic. She calmed my nerves, walked me through it, made sure I was completely numb, would stop to make sure I was ok and treated me like a person instead of just another appointment. I've been a patient of Dr Adams. Pretty much ever since we moved to Houston. I went to another when we first moved here in Sugarland but wasn't really happy. One of my friends recommended Dr Adams so on my next visit I contacted her. Been visiting her ever since. Over 19 years now. Only had a few cavities since. But each has been pretty painless. I did have a steel crown from childhood that had worn through and the underneath tooth had pretty much fallen apart. That was scary, but she calmed me down and took care of it. Had to put in a bridge. It was years ago. Now days I think I'd have gone for the implant. She recommended an Oral-B 9000 which we got. I don't think we've had a cavity since. I'm really grateful for her care for our family. We've followed her ever since. read more

If you are thinking about coming here...DON'T! The whole office is a scam from the dentist to the front office. I had an exam a week prior to coming here at another office. All i wanted was a teeth cleaning, and of course the dentist will examine me at that time. But instead, they did another exam and told me that they did not have a hygienist that was back from the Covid scare. So basically it was a waste of time. They also tried to up sell me teeth whitening etc. I was also told that i needed to get 2 fillings. I asked her how do you know because you didn't use the scaler to depress on any teeth to check for pitting. She stated she could tell by looking at it. . I have never had a cavity in my life! I havent been to the dentist in years so I was very scared of what they were going to tell me. Walking in, I was greeted by very friendly staff and told them I had an appointment. During the appointment Dr. Adams seemed like she really cared about my dental health. I know when somebody loves their job, and Dr. Adams is definitely very passionate. I had to go to another dental office to fix my crown done by Lovett Dental. My crown kept falling out for 5 times and Lovett Dental just glued it everytime it fell out and ignored the fact that the crown didn't fit my tooth, it made my tooth inside decayed. Not impressed. Long wait time and no communication on when you will be called for your appointment. During the deep cleaning my husbands anesthesia kept wearing off and they kept proceeding with the cleaning. He had to stop and come back for another appointment to finish because he was in so much pain. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this dental farm. On a lighter note the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They did call the next day to check on my husband but the damage was already done. We will nor be returning. Overall terrible experience. Would not recommend. My cleaning appointment ended up lasting almost 3 hours because I spent two hours waiting. This was particularly confusing because I was the only one in the waiting room when I showed up. Also was told I needed the gum cleaning that costed around $400 even with insurance. I've never had a cavity so this makes me think this is a scam as well as others have mentioned in their views. We are going to try to find a different dentist. read more

Terrible service. I was scared into thinking I needed deep cleaning, extra treatments, abx, etc for mildly inflamed gums. Which of course costed me out of pocket... I was overcharged for one of these visits and needed to have a credit to my account - which I had to request, and once I requested it, I was told it was easier to keep on file rather than get a refund (silly me for believing that) I never waited less than 1 hr for appt (even when told I would be seen first, they would schedule at least two ppl for one time slot so I had to wait anyways). While the office staff sat around and talked like they had all the time in the world. Very disappointing it took me so long to leave. read more

I have been going here for a little more than a year now. I've had 3 cavities filled, a root canal with a crown and a bridge a couple of weeks ago. I was scheduled at 3:00 today for a routine cleaning. I was taken to the back and had my blood pressure taken. I sat there waiting for the dentist until 4:30! I took off work today for this appointment and all for nothing as I am walking out the door. read more

Front desk staff was very friendly and the waiting area is very welcoming. The assistants brought me back promptly and were very nice. The hygienist was very friendly and knowledgeable and answered all my questions. After being seen by the hygienist Dr. Adam's came in to do an exam as well. She is very friendly and explained to me what she felt I needed as far as treatment to keep my teeth in good shape. Mike the office manager, came in and talked to me before I started my treatment. He was very friendly as well and explain what needed to be done and broke it down for me so I knew exactly what would be expected financially. Overall, this was a great experience and I would definetly recommend this office in the Bay Area. Very helpful and friendly staff. read more

We have been patients here for over 2 years and have had nothing but positive experiences. Dr. Fann is a sweet & gentle dentist. Both of my kids are receiving orthodontic treatment from Dr. Choi and we have been very pleased so far. He really takes time to examine them with every visit. Do not go here. It is the most horrible dentist office I have ever been to in my 49 years. Unorganized, staff wants to argue with you. If I was retired I would stand outside their door and protest. They definitely treat you like a number and not a patient. I took off work all day waited 3 hours and still never had my cleaning. They are only worried about what money they are going to make off of you and your insurance. Please be careful and watch your billing. With insurance an extraction should have been only $50 but they tried to add extra work by making things up by saying I need unnecessary sinus build up to increase the price to couple of hundreds of dollars. I have been a patient of Lovett Dental for many years now. Usually they're pretty decent. Today I went in for my regular cleaning as usual. Normally I look forward to going believe it or not. Today changed my mind completely. The hygienist they gave me must be new because she has never worked on me before and I never want her to work on me again! Usually teeth cleanings for me are only slightly uncomfortable. This woman was so rough and fast that I was in severe pain the whole time. She proceeds working on me and says something about a mouthrinse that I need to use. She never clarified that she was doing extra services on me and I thought it was part of my usual teeth cleaning. I get to the front desk to pay and my bill is $170.00+!! Mind you, I have dental insurance and a teeth cleaning doesn't cost that much. They gave me no clue as to what was done to me or why it cost so much and no itemized receipt. I was in shock so I just paid the bill and left. I never consented to any of the treatments they failed to tell me about and I never signed consent forms for treatment. I am in the process of trying to contact their office manager. This is NOT good practice. Between that awful hygienist and the services charged to me that I did not consent to, I refuse to ever go back there again! read more

This place is terrible and do not know what they are doing. I am not a good dental patient as a lot of people are not. I even called to warn these ass hats that I would be that way before my first exam. went in for said exam freaking out, crying, the whole 9 yards. Then I needed a root canal and an extraction on 2 different teeth according to their hateful Dr. Fann. SUPER FAKE. I was freaking out on the inside the entire time, even went to the bathroom to have a good cry. Then when it came to the extraction she just yanked that sucker out like there was no tomorrow...i figuratively screamed for them to stop and she did not until she decided she was done. The in tons of pain they give me a prescription for ibuprofen which I can buy over the counter and tramadol, which I told them several times I am ALLERGIC to!! That's all they would offer besides codeine which makes me sick to my stomach which I had also told them. They got so defensive that they forced me to talk to them in a back office....of course hiding Ms. Fanny away from me so I couldn't say what I wanted to her. The office manager Chris hadn't even ordered the new prescription pads the doctor would have needed to write the prescription for me to recover from my surgeries..then they proceeded to lie to my mother about what is in the medication I have been allergic to my whole life, like we wouldn't know (Im 27)....they also told me that they would call my antibiotic prescription into the pharmacy where I was going to pick up my antibiotics (bc that's all i'm going to get, I'm not going to take something I am allergic to, let alone something that I am going to vomit up right after I have had 2 teeth brutally yanked from my mouth) These people do not know what they are doing, have absolutely no compassion, and have absolutely no reason to be doing the jobs they are if they are going to hide behind an office door so other patients wont know they have messed up. Why would you even make an appointment for an extremely nervous patient for 2 pretty major oral operations when you can't or won't even be willing to make them comfortable after you've made them cry over and over. I've had a root canal before and unfortunately for me that real doctor, the one who knew what he was doing, that didn't hurt me at all, has passed. So after taking ALL of my money for these surgeries I am in so much pain I don't even want to move and no way to make it better....THO ONLY person there who seemed to care and kinda have any empathy for her patient what so ever, was the dental assistant who was super pregnant and having contractions during my surgery...wonderful. I am not even going to go to this location to get the cap I paid for, I am going to have them send it to a different location. I really wish I had read these before I went here but unfortunately my dental insurance sucks....never again after what I've paid for (that they basically lied to me to get....this isn't even the stuff I wanted to get done.) Theses people need some Karma....BAD. The only people saying good things about this place....are the people who work there! So sad... After spending a majority of my off day at Lovett dental getting a my teeth cleaned and cavity filled, I left with a slightly sour taste in my mouth. Shortly after, I received an email from Lovett dental asking me to write a review on my experience. Without thinking twice, I wrote about my extended wait time and the not so great experience I had wtih the staff(excluding the dentist), however, when they ask you to write a review, please keep in mind they only want good reviews. If you write anything bad and leave your name you will get DROPPED as a patient. They could care less about their customers experience. I called a couple days later to inquire about the same tooth still hurting and they carelessly said "Did you get our letter in the mail? We saw the review you wrote, your going to need to find a new dentist." I was in complete shock. Normally, if it's a place that truly cares about its clients the business would try and correct the issue, at the very LEAST apologize! Lovett Dental in Webster TX would rather just drop you. They could care less about my bad experience or if they fixed the issue I had came in and paid for. I will never refer anyone to them ever again! read more

How bad can one place be? This place has already taken up more of my time than I should have allowed. In summary: Chris, the manager upsells you, they misfile insurance paperwork, arbitrarily change appointments and when they do get the appointment correct you wait forever. Really like the dentist and that is why I kept putting up with the bad service for over a year. It was an ok place until the manager Chris took over. Lovett Dental has an F rating with the better business bureau. I went to the trouble to call the corporate office and they don't care. Horrible service. Dr.Fan is pretty nice but the rest of the staff acts as if you've ruined their day by coming in. I've been a patient for over one year. I came in the first time because i had a cavity that was causing me a great amount of pain. When the actual dentist came in and examined me, she automatically said "route canal!" All though i didnt feel as if i needed this route canal, i still went ahead and trusted the Dr's opinion. This time i went for a cavity and a chipped tooth, the doctor examined me and once again right off the bat said "route canal!" After reading the other reviews about Lovett Dental i realized that this dental office does not care about you or your health. All they truely care about is how much profit they can make off of you. This place is BEST at what they do, which is Root Canal. They will do it even if you don't need one. I went in for a routine cleaning because my regular dentist that I usually go to had a wait time of three weeks, MY BIGGEST MISTAKE. They did the cleaning and went too deep, a week later I had to go in again and was told I need a filling this time. Well that didn't work either, and a week later I was getting a Root Canal because they had screwed up my tooth pretty good and there was no other option rather than getting a Root Canal treatment. I have a pretty good dental insurance, and they had the nerve to tell me that I have around $1200 left on my coverage and if I would like to get another Root Canal because I would need one done pretty soon on the other tooth. They also wanted to schedule me for another routine cleaning in few month, but I had learned my lesson and ran out! Filed a complaint with the Dental Board on their unethical price gouging and providing unnecessary services just to jack some extra buck through insurance companies. The only reason I am giving this 1 star is because I have to pick 1. Let me start by sharing my experience. I went in for a check up and to see what it would cost to fix my teeth which consisted of 3 extractions a bridge, 3 crowns, deep clean, and whitened. 14k was approximately the price I was given along with being told that my teeth were pretty bad. I was discouraged because I rely on social security as my prime income. Feeling like I was S.O.L. because I couldn't afford it I went about a year without anything being done. Last week I had a tooth hurting bad along with 2 broken teeth so I called my insurance and found a dentist in my network. Castle dental was in my network. I went in today to have the 3 teeth pulled and get a price of what the over all process would cost me......$2553.00....with out insurance.....553 with my insurance....the same stuff that was offered at lovett dental. Let's compare.....same process......Lovett dental for $14,000 or castle dental for $2553 without insurance or $553 with....it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out. My question is why is lovett charging me about $11,000 more for the same procedure? I'm not trolling for fun I have come to the conclusion that with lovett dental it is an insurance racket. To me they don't want to help you, they want to help take your money!!! Lovett told me it would be a surgical procedure to remove my 2 broken teeth but my dentist at Castle Dental numbed my gums and so on and extracted the 2 broken teeth plus another one with no problem!!! I will never have anything to do with Lovett Dental....ever.....they are scam artists to me. read more

SCAM SCAM SCAM! Told me I needed 10 root canals and 2 extractions as well as having irreversible gum disease. Would have cost about $15000 WITH insurance. Wanted a 2nd opinion, but they would NOT give me my X-rays or send them to the new dentist!!! Turns out I only need 2 root canals and 1 extraction. Gum disease? Reversible. They were so rude too! And don't plan on being seen anywhere NEAR your appointment time. Waited 45 min past even though I arrived early (as requested) and told them beforehand I had to go to work at a certain time. Really pissed at Lovett Dental. More than a month ago we made an appointment through the call center for our 6-year-old. We spent the week walking him through the process and alleviating his fears only for them to call 2 hours before the appointment and tell us the Doctor assigned is not in our network and we either have to pay out of pocket or reschedule. They charged an office fee, and would not do teeth cleaning, instead they said my husband needed a $200 deep cleaning. Not too sure about the sterility of the equipment they use either. OMG I hated this place! Dr. Fann spoke highly of Dr. Tran. Everything she said about Dr. Tran was true. He really is good. But I was disappointed at how long i had to wait. Once I finally got back this office was absolutely disgusting! I love how great Dr. Tran was but this office should be shut down because it was disgusting. U could tell it had not been swept, vacuum or mopped. I saw a lady and a guy trying to clean this instrument room but it was too late the filth had been already seen. From my understanding Dr. Tran only comes once a month so this Dr. Fann's office. I do not recommend this office to anyone! If you need to see Dr. Tran please call around because this office may have critters because it was so nasty. My mother broke her partial (teeth fell out of it), but was going out of town. I didn't think there would be enough time to obtain a new partial, but went ahead and set up an appointment at Lovett to see if the existing partial could be fixed and to see how long it would take to get the partial replaced (what was involved). The Dentist, Dr Pham did some sort of "temporary" repair and told her not to chew with the teeth (why bother with the repair then, right?). The repair fell apart within 2 days. My Mom said the day of the repair that the teeth were completely loose, not stuck in at all. She said the adhesive was just some putty-like substance, like Poligrip, and didn't glue the teeth in at all. She charged my Mom over $500 for this piece of work. It's like charging someone $500 to stick a piece of chewing gum in the partial and sticking the tooth in that. Of course it won't work! She knew it, so why charge an 88 year old woman the $570?
