We had a bit of an emergency and Wesley at LOVEWELL solved the problem. We had recently moved into a new house, with a new A/C system. We turned on the system for the first time - no cold air. We contacted LOVEWELL and they were at our house the next day. They diagnosed our problem - whoever had installed the system did it incorrectly and we needed a new compressor. LOVEWELL contacted the manufacturer and they replaced the unit under warranty, we only had to pay to install the new part. LOVEWELL had the part shipped promptly and kept us informed as to its arrival date. I should add that this happened just before the 4th of July heatwave. Our 4th was cool and comfortable thanks to LOVEWELL. Going forward, LOVEWELL is the only company we'll call for AC & heating service and repairs. Nice folks and GREAT customer service. read more

We highly recommend Lovewell Heating and Cooling! This was our first experience with them. We had a combination water heater and furnace installed this week---in the middle of winter!...A stressful proposition for the homeowner to say the least! Wesley and his crew were sensitive to this and worked very hard as long as it took to ensure we had heat overnight. They provided information about the process as it progressed which also helped to alleviate anxiety about the installation. They were professional, prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and respectful of our home and property. Wesley went to lengths to be sure our home remained clean and not damaged in any way during the process. He readily answered questions and provided information about our new system. They also cleaned up so well and left our basement at least as clean as it was before they arrived. Wesley from Lovewell came to my house twice after a flood incident. The first visit was fine no issues, he was asked to diagnose if the AC could be repaired. He was prompt and courteous. The second visit is where we experienced price gauging. We scheduled an appointment and were told he would be in our area on the day. After closer inspection of the invoice, he charged us an hourly rate for transport from the business location to my house (an after hours fee, that was not after hours) and the return trip. The thermostats he installed were contractor grade (not programmable, not smart) and he charged $185 each ($30 on Amazon). The problems continued because the thermostats didn't function properly. They the heat was set to 68, but they would not turn off at that temperature. They continued to heat the space to 75 degrees. We ultimately uninstalled the thermostats and went to home depot purchased two for $70 total and installed them ourselves. According to Lovewell's invoice they asked for any invoice discrepancies to be mailed to their office location, no phone calls. We asked for a refund on fees charged for faulty thermostats and mileage rate...but we'd be happy to pay him his hourly rate and he could pick up the thermostats. We never heard back. The charges totaled $595 for two thermostats! I called and asked for a status and his response was "it is going rate and it was after hours". How is this even possible when it was a midday weekday appointment for a faulty product? I would be very leery working with this business on any project. read more
