I had an older mini-split a/c that had stopped working a couple summers ago. My wife and I finally decided to have it replaced with a Mitsubishi heat-pump mini-split and take advantage of the energy rebates from our local utility. We also decided to add another min-split for our master bedroom. I always go with 3 different vendor quotes for any project, and MPG provided a competitive quote as well as the right "sale story" to go with the Mitsubishi units. I worked with Mike (owner) for the on-site survey, quotes and final decision. Matt is who actually came out and did the overall installation and configuration of the Kumo Cloud wi-fi modules. Matt was very knowledgeable of the Mitsubishi units, and very neat both inside and outside our home during the installation. One topic I give Matt kudos on is the education and instructions he provided for installing mouse repellent bags inside the exterior units. Overall, my wife and I were very satisfied with MPG Mechanical and would highly recommend the company. Mitsubishi is probably one of the highest rated mini-split manufacturers, and even though they're not cheap the old saying holds true "you get what you pay for". Mike at MPG replaced my existing central AC and my central heating system with a Mitsubishi ducted mini split's and I couldn't be happier. My situation was a little unique because I wanted to use the National Grid heat loan program to install hyper efficient heat pumps to replace my existing Oil burner hydro heating system and get an added bonus new central air. I received 3 quotes from other companies and I was shocked at the range in pricing and the inability for most of them to explain the cost and components they were quoting.  Mike was extremely knowledgeable answered all of my questions and walked me through the install where others didn't seem to have time.   MPG being the clear choice I gave mike the 50% deposit and we scheduled the install. My husband and I realized our boiler was broken (no heat or hot water) on the eve of arctic storm Grayson. We have 3 children and my husband was due to fly to Florida in the early morning before the storm hit. We called our regular company and they were closed as were every other company in our area. My husband called MPG mechanical and surprisingly Mike answered! He spent 2 hours on the phone with my husband diagnosing the boiler problem. He said he would be over in the morning with the parts needed. My husband flew out, I had low expectations, the storm had started and I figured we would stay with friends. Woke up on Saturday morning to no heat and 10 degrees outside. I called the supply store where we purchased boiler to get a recommendation of someone to service it. They highly recommended MPG. I called and Mike arrived in less than an hour. He was knowledgeable, efficient and kind (kindness super matters when you have small kids running around). And we had heat again! MPG so far has been great. They installed a Mini Split. And it runs great. Got to get use to the sounds it makes once in a while. It has saved me me big time on my heat bill. I added WIFI and that works great. When I called them, the usual get back to me within hours, which I think is great as well.
