We used Adam to install 6 mini splits threw out our home, at first he seemed okay his price was lowest but you get what you pay for clearly. On the side of the house with both our CHILDRENS rooms the main board needed a swap instead of Adam coming to do the maintenance he had walked my husband threw it in freezing cold weather because long story short he was to busy to come by. In the mean time we are contractors so we got him multiple jobs that he installed mini splits on jobs that we had been working on. So we did get friendly with him. On one install he installed a completely crooked unit it was a half inch off the wall and unleveled. When we called him to come fix that and finish some plumbing he promised and we paid to do he refused and basically just blew us off stealing that money and never coming to fix his terrible work. After a few months the same thing happened to the main board on our kids side of the house it's middle of winter and instead of us calling because he basically robbed us my father the homeowner reached out and nothing... so now we are stuck with a broken unit that no one locally even sells the low end parts to fix. I highly highly highly recommend not using Adam. He comes off as a nice guy but he's a fraud and a thief. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! He will leave your kids freezing in the winter and not care at all. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra for an honest guy! I am updating my review after Adam has left my children in the cold now 2 winters in a row. First issue arose last February when the mini split he installed for my father in law had an error code he suggested getting the part (main board) and walking me though changing it myself because he was out of town. no problem I'm a carpenter and am hands on. I drive to supply New England in Uxbridge and get the replacement board all goes well and my kids have heat again after using space heaters for a week or so. Next I use Adam on one of my jobs to install a single zone mini split and move some washing machine plumbing. He shows up to install the unit and upon finishing I pass him the check and ask when it will be inspected his response "I didn't know you need permits bud" (just ask any building official any new system installed needs permitting) and then says he will take care of it and get the permit. I ask if he's coming back to move the plumbing? his response "I'm not licensed to do that bud" well then why would he say he can and charged me for it. I say now I have to find another plumber? his response "I have a cousin who's licensed that will pull the permit and you can do it" I play by the book and I work with wood not water so I declined and hired a plumber to do the work for 600$ in addition to what I already paid Adam. Now I'm frustrated but it's not the end of the world. Its not until I notice problems that his true colors show. looking closer at the mini split he installed I see it's hanging off the wall a half inch and the indoor unit is not level! I take pictures and ask Adam to fix it to which he says " try to shimmy it back into place" the screws were only going into drywall so that wasn't happening and ask when he can make it out. He says he will make it out there but doesn't give a day/time. For 4 weeks he never called or text and so I decide to reach out on a Saturday via text and ask when he will come to fix the problem to which he sends a voice text that I still have record of stating he is not working and is at his daughters sports event. I never asked him to come out that day simply asking for a timeline for fixing his work. when I said it's been weeks now and I haven't heard anything from you he snapped asking if I am "ok in the head" now I am not one to get upset but to get belittled by a grown man because he can't handle his business/customers is just disrespectful to which I replied this will be my last communication with you. Done. Fast forward to November the mini splits He installed for my father in law in my children's bedroom began displaying the same error again. this time I reached out to supply New England directly to which they responded that they do not sell Gree anymore, great so we have a lemon of a system now down two winters in a row and we are on our own with it. My father in law reached out and Adam ignored him. He also installed a Navien tankless hot water heater with condensate draining directly into a pvc pipe through the concrete foundation to outdoors. Every single winter that we have temps below freezing the drain line freezes up and the condensate backs up and pools up in the unit before dripping all over the floor so I have to keep an eye on that. he also did not install service valves on the system for maintenance/descaling. I could go on and on about him he is a FRAUD. The propane furnace he installed for my father in law (in spring) wasn't firing right when cold weather came around. Turns out he never adjusted the gas pressure/fuel to air ratios after converting it to propane. At least he had came out to fix that problem. (Who doesn't test their work?) both the navien and the propane furnace are direct vent sealed combustion units with fresh air supply supposed to be piped in from outside. Both units he never piped in fresh air.. at this point I am considering pursuing action with the licensing board. RUN AWAY DO NOT BE FOOLED BY HIS LOW PRICE HE WILL LEAVE YOUR KIDS TO FREEZE. read more

Run far away from this guy. Adam was super attentive until he was paid. I hired him to install a ceiling unit in May. When guests ran the AC overnight water poured onto them as they slept. He came back 3 times to "fix" it. It took him at least 5 days to respond every time I told him it wasn't working and was pouring water. He would stay for 5 mins each time he was at the house and assured me it was fixed. He finally stopped responding to me or the contractor that was trying to communicate with him. I now have to pay someone else to fix it- a brand new install. This man is a terrible human. I wish I read his other horrible review before I hired him because it's 100% accurate. A. Perry installed an HVAC system in my home in October. I was happy with the job Adam did. Six months later a few issues with the system arose. I sent him a text. I gave him a week to respond. He didn't respond. So the next week I called Adam. He said he would come by the next day after work. Adam didn't show up and didnt bother to notify me he wasnt coming. He said he was "too busy" to send me a text which would have taken him about ten seconds. Over a two week period Adam "no-showed" two more times without communicating. After the third no-show I let him know that it was "bull****" that he was too busy to send a text and that I was at the point of leaving a negative review.
