They were on time and took wonderful care of Brody. The appointment took about 2 hours and Brody even got a Thanksgiving bandana. Very disappointing experience but I will start with some positives. They were about 40 minutes early, I actually didn't much appreciate that considering I'm busy with work meetings mostly during the day, but better than late. Their booking system was good. There were reminders sent and they had availability to groom on somewhat short notice. They also did a good job with our dachshund who was just a bath. Overall though, they were pretty unfriendly. They just walked up and took our dogs. They didn't ask any questions, didn't greet us or our dogs. I tried to explain how sensitive our terrier is due to surgeries he has had but it didn't seem like they acknowledged or listened. They took about 2 hours. I thought our dachshunds bath should have only taken 30 minutes. I worry she sat around a long time, and our terrier mix has a very choppy hair cut. There are clipper lines all over him and his face is a VERY uneven hair cut. I think they didn't understand what we wanted for his haircut so we are overall very unhappy. Every groomer we take him too does a nice clean job but this was the worst hair cut he has ever gotten. They are very clearly not trained with cutting dogs hair. Additionally, when they brought him back they were very short to the point "pay us before we hand your dog back" and "let's book the next one". Very impersonal and like all dog parents, I want to trust who I leave my dog with and I just had a really bad gut feeling and don't feel like they even liked our dogs. Cannot recommend - especially for the hefty $150 for a haircut and $75 for bath. *updating based on owner response* Our dog has been to many groomers who have all said Bradley was great and well behaved for them. We were never told of behavioral issues and that is extremely disappointing to be told that is to blame for the poor quality cut and makes me believe he was stressed and not happy when he has always been fine with other groomers. I asked them to let me know of any issues which I never received any information on, even upon drop off. Our instructions were not listened too with his cut, the groomers were not friendly and I am disappointed with the response of deflecting and not taking responsibility for the bad hair cut. The groomers hardly asked us questions about what we wanted so we pushed to explain and that was not listened too. There is no excuse for a haircut to have lines (as pictured). As for other claims of us saying the haircut was great and we were very happy, I know that was not the situation and makes me think they were not paying attention. I was not asked if it was ok to come early, I was told. I am extremely disappointed as the response feels like a list of excuses. One star experience. This may be a good option for a very expensive bath for your dog but do not let them give your dog a haircut. Behavioral issues is unacceptable as he always has a great haircut with groomers and is just an excuse for a poor job. read more
