If and when the situation arises and you need to say goodbye to your fur baby please don't do it at a veterinarian office. I have had 3 dogs that have passed over the years and 2 at the clinic. Our 6 yr old Shepherd got ill very quickly and Dr Saiki came to our home. She was very supportive, professional and has a very big heart. Explained everything and was very patient with us. I would not change my option to have our Chance pass in his bed at home with all of us with him. Sad time but easier at home. Thanks Dr Saiki

Dr. Saiki was compassionate and responsive to our dire need to allow our beloved Madeline to end her suffering. When I called Dr. Saiki and explained our situation, she immediately shared her availability to meet our needs. When she called to confirm the appointment, she asked if there was any way we could wait 60 min while attending to a non emergent situation, I explained to her that I thought Maddie's condition had worsened, she quickly prioritized her schedule and arrived within 20 min. She treated Maddie with the utmost care and helped her cross over comfortably and pain free. She was patient with us and allowed us to say our goodbyes to our beloved family member. She was clear with instructions on what to expect and gave us several choices for her cremation. I will be sure to call Dr. Saiki again for our future needs and highly recommend her services! The clay paw print and her sweet card helped mend our broken hearts. THANK YOU Dr. Saiki!

Not recommended. Doctor Saiki was pretty cold during the visit and did not listen to the wishes we had with our pet's remains.

Dr Saiki came to our home on short notice which we appreciated as our Abby had taken a hard turn for the worst.

But did not deserve her attitude. And she didn't know what I was going through. My dad, aunt and nephew died within 4 weeks of each other. I had also just moved to a new city where I didn't know anyone. One of my other cats had died at 18. Then the Dr. looks at the same cats teeth, and shook her head and said disgusting. Really?! She said the cat needed blood work and together with the home visit, charged me a few hundred, and said she would have the results on Monday. I didn't hear back from her for a month. When I finally got a hold of her she said she had been sick (BS). I guess her assistants arms were broke. She said my cat was fine, I bet she didn't even do the tests. I see quite a few people like her, fine. I'm not trying to do her harm, I have just been sitting on this for months. She was mean and judgemental.

We absolutely love Dr J..and so do our pups..she is so kind and gentle with them and they love her…read moretreats..her assistants treat our fur babies just like their own too..I have read a couple reviews on here that I believe are complete nonsense and fabricated...it is a shame you can say anything you want with no accountability on this app..I cannot recommend Dr J enough..especially if your pet hates the vet and has instant anxiety...I have been to many different vets in livermore and the tri valley area and she is the best:)

Last week, with the assistance of Dr. Hedge, I released the spirit of my 17+ years old kitty,…read moreAshie. Ashie had been in the care of Dr. Hedge for the last 3 1/2 years. She suffered from kidney disease. The first time Dr. Hedge came to our house, while she examined Ashie, she kept telling me "talk to her; keep talking to her". And that is when I knew that I had found the right Veterinary for my cat. Dr. Hedge understood the bond that exists between a beloved pet and his/her owner. For the next three years plus Dr. Hedge consistently demonstrated her knowledge, dedication, responsiveness, sensitivity, and compassion. She practiced good sense medicine without the need for frequent expensive tests as I had been used to with my prior Vet; she was always there for Ashie in her time of need - coming to the house within a couple of hours even in a day when she had a flight to catch that evening going on vacation; she was never rushed during her visits and patiently waited as I tried to calm down my temperamental kitty; and finally, the day that I released Ashie, she allowed me as much time as I to say goodbye. When she left she told me I could call her if I needed to talk. A few days after, I took advantage of that kind offer. Dr. Hedge listened to me and reassured me that I had given the best life to Ashie. I was struggling with the fact that during those last moments I had carried Ashie from the sunny spot in the our backyard where she was sitting to the table where her life would end. I was regretting that I didn't think of just going to her and sitting with her while the sedative shot was administered. I felt I had robbed her of a final moment of sunny awareness. I could not get over that regret. Dr. Hedge reminded me that Ashie's life was not just that day; that I should instead think about all the days of sunshine I had given her during 17+ years. It was a simple statement that offered me so much comfort. Ashie was my last Kitty. But if I was younger and had the opportunity of having more little companions, Dr. Hedge would be their only Vet. Thank you, Doctor!

We adopted our kittens, Basil and Perilla three month ago, and immediately had to deal with severe…read morediarrhea. A local vet tested them and found Giardia and Cryptosporidium. Our first vet was way too "textbook". They had us trying to wash the cats' back areas and using less litter to keep their medical cones clean. We were exhausted and stressed. We did two fecal tests there. The first said Perilla had more parasites; the second said Basil did. So, the first time Perilla got more doses and second time Basil got more doses. It was very confusing. Plus, Azithromycin didn't work. When we switched to Dr. Hegde, everything changed. She is incredibly practical and truly understood our pain. She explained that fecal tests are like "treasure hunting" because parasites are not evenly distributed in a sample. Instead of chasing test numbers, she suggested we treat the symptoms. Since Basil's stool was already solid, she told us not to worry and prescribed more doses for Perilla. Her patient explanations gave us so much confidence. She prescribed Metronidazole, special food and supplement. With this plan, Perilla's stool gradually started forming shape, and her latest fecal test just came back completely negative! We are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Dr. Hegde is very busy, so she cannot always respond to every single text or question. As a result, we learned to prioritize and only ask our most important questions during appointments or via text to respect her time. However, she still makes a point to follow up and check on Perilla's progress, which means the world to us. Additionally, ordering her prescribed food and medication through her website is incredibly easy and hassle-free. If you are a new pet parent looking for a realistic, deeply caring, and highly professional vet, we recommend Dr. Hegde!
