I typically don't do reviews, but this vet, Dr Juergens shamed me when she came to my home. I will be truthful, I had sadly ignored my cats nails for a long period, to where the nails were growing in to one cats pads. I feel horrible about it to this day. But did not deserve her attitude. And she didn't know what I was going through. My dad, aunt and nephew died within 4 weeks of each other. I had also just moved to a new city where I didn't know anyone. One of my other cats had died at 18. Then the Dr. looks at the same cats teeth, and shook her head and said disgusting. Really?! She said the cat needed blood work and together with the home visit, charged me a few hundred, and said she would have the results on Monday. I didn't hear back from her for a month. When I finally got a hold of her she said she had been sick (BS). I guess her assistants arms were broke. She said my cat was fine, I bet she didn't even do the tests. I see quite a few people like her, fine. I'm not trying to do her harm, I have just been sitting on this for months. She was mean and judgemental. read more

We absolutely love Dr J..and so do our pups..she is so kind and gentle with them and they love her treats..her assistants treat our fur babies just like their own too..I have read a couple reviews on here that I believe are complete nonsense and fabricated...it is a shame you can say anything you want with no accountability on this app..I cannot recommend Dr J enough..especially if your pet hates the vet and has instant anxiety...I have been to many different vets in livermore and the tri valley area and she is the best:) read more

Dr J and her Vet Tech Taylor are so awesome!! I decided to give them a try because it is like hell on earth getting my cats in a carrier and the loud crying in the car the whole way there. This is a MUCH better way to go. Dr J and Taylor carry a portable exam room with them (not literally, but that's how I think of it). She's never had to say, "I ran out of those so we'll come back later to finish". Never EVER. She's very well-stocked with everything your pet needs (I have 2 cats, one is 15 years old and he's a sick boy). Dr j knows how much my older cat means to me, and to my absolute amazement, I learned that my cat loves the doc and Taylor. He gets on their lap and purrs and purrs! That's very unusual because he doesn't purr for anyone except me...or so I thought. I think he looks forward to these videos sits because he gets scratched and loved on and he loves the attention. I don't have anything negative to say at all! I'm a 100% happy with the care he is receiving. I understand what's wrong and there are no surprises. Feel free to hit me up with any questions and I'll try my best on the answer. You can't go wrong with this service. Ever since Feline Medical Center closed, I've had a hard time finding a doctor that I like and trust. Dr J and Taylor are those people. They go back into the "exam room" (my master bathroom) and I have zero worries about what's happening. I know that they'll do the right thing. Todays acupuncture appointment was disappointing. She arrived 30 min late - I did not receive any communication til nearly 15 min AFTER our scheduled appointment notifying me she was running late (via text) & when they arrived nobody said anything & they still charged for the house call. I thought she would discount something for being 30 min late or at least some acknowledgment...something, anything to make the situation right. Upon leaving nobody scheduled any future appointments...even when I asked "what do we do next?..." she just took my payment and literally had no more words. Strange. For $220, I expected better communication & a higher level of professionalism. I hope you can understand why this is unsettling for a pet owner who is investing time and money into healing for their pets. Part of the "in home" experience is the convenience. In addition to the tardiness & lack of communication, I saw the vehicle pull up and park. When they opened the back of the SUV, I saw a dog. I really don't mean to judge but seeing a mobile vet leave an animal inside the vehicle on a 90 degree + day is a little disturbing. I would at least hope the AC was on inside the car. This is extremely disturbing - you're a VET! I will be continuing acupuncture for my dog as I believe it can help. But for this price I expect better service. I think I will be going somewhere else from now on. read more

Dr. J and her tech visited for routine check on my cat. I was surprised when she signaled her tech to suddenly grab my calm easy going boy and forcibly put him on his side and hold him tightly down. My current mobil vet (she isn't taking new clients at this time) visits and treats my boy in her lap or when he sits beside her. Sometimes she can't get a read on his heart because he's purring so loud. No drama, no forcing anything. In fact, her visits are fun. Plus, she is able to treat my feral cat with ZERO sedation. I had Dr. Sai here as well and he also treated my boy while we sat on the patio couch. It is important for a vet to be able to relate to the animals and assess their disposition and act accordingly. Dr. J does not have this gift and it's evident in the way she chooses to handle her patients. She is also terrible at returning phone calls. Do your cat or dog a favor and look elsewhere. read more

This would be the first 6 star review I would give, if I could. I was in a pretty tough spot. I had semi-recently moved and my cat just got out of an extended hospital visit for what could be a chronic kidney issue. I needed to establish myself with a new vet for the additional treatment. I was getting used to giving my cat drip-bags of fluid myself, stresses, and really needed someone excellent. I'm not saying Dr. Juergens is a super hero, but I am also not not saying that. She swooped in, was excellent with my 2 boys, showed me how to give my sick boy the drip with no hassle, and was fantastic all along the way. Per her expert direction, I gave my boy his medicine yesterday with no hassle. And her bill was much less than I expected! Cannot recommend her enough. read more

Thank you Dr. Juergens to you and your team taking care of my girls nails during COVID along with each of them having an ear infection. I was referred to Dr. J when I was not able to find a reliable source around the Mtn. View/Sunnyvale area for trimming their nails. I tried a local groomer w/ no success. My vet stopped trimming nails so I was at a loss of what to do. When I reached out to Dr. Juergens she was willing to take care of my babies needs. The summer of 2020 we met at a park in Livermore and my girls were well taken care. If I lived in the Tri area Dr. Juergens would be my vet for life. She and her team are very impressive. read more

While my 2 cats and dog were patients of Dr. J for 2 years, all was good (but expensive!!) . Then I called, texted, emailed multiple times for a prescription refill. I was ghosted by Dr J and her staff. They decided to drop my pets as patients; no warning, no reason, no reply to any of my communication. As such, to get a refill I had to pay a different vet for a full checkup that he didn't need. I later learned from 2 friends that they had the exact same experience. This is a highly unprofessional business. I do not recommend. read more

Dr. J has been our Vet for all four of our cats. Our first cat, Charlie, was a bit of a challenge. While he loved us, he hated everyone else except for Dr. J. It is extremely easy to set an appointment with Dr, J, she arrives on time and is very calm and caring with our cats. I can't imagine a better service and our cats deserve it. read more

A special thanks to Dr. Marianna Juergens and her assistant Taylor. We had to put our 14 year old Golden Retriever "Toby" down this week. It was a difficult and heartbreaking decision. We were referred to Dr. Juergens by our normal vet. Both Dr. Juergens and Taylor were unbelievably professional, courteous and compassionate. They put us at ease right away and gave our beloved Toby the most loving care anyone could have provided under the circumstances. After an exam of Toby and listening to us describe his issues, they assured us we were making the right decision and agreed that it was time for us to let our Toby go. With their assistance, he passed peacefully on his favorite spot on our back deck. They made a very tough day bearable. We are grateful for this service and for their loving care. I called Tri Valley Mobile Veterinary on the recommendation from my local vet. My mastiff was having a hard time getting up as well as breathing and my vet doesn't have mobile services. I called and left a message. I received a text in response about 15 minutes later. They asked where I lived and I responded asking if they serviced my area. They did not respond back. My dog was having difficulties and they didn't have the decency to call or respond to my text. If they couldn't help, be decent enough to say so. I don't recommend their services especially with what I consider to be a family member. Thanks for nothing! read more

My dog was traumatized at Benfield's when she was a puppy and will not go back. I got a recommendation for Dr. J who came to our home and was Extremely kind and patient with my dog who fought her the entire time! She was able to stay calm, take her time and get 2 shots, a mouth spray and her weight all done in 30 minutes. Amazing!! read more

LIFE SAVERS!!!! Dr J and her team are such life savers. My dog had TPLO surgery and was pretty drugged up. Since he is 85 lb, trying to get him into a car to take to a vet was impossible. Dr Juergens and her assistant came in, assessed the situation, gave an IV, vitamin B and told us what medications to use and NOT use. Gave great suggestions on how to get my dog to eat, as he had not had any food in 4 days. My other dog, was not quite sure what to think of all the attention her brother was getting. The Vet tech played with her, gave her treats and made her feel like she was important too. Total relief was felt from Mom, Dad and the dogs. Thank you!!!! read more

5 stars isn't enough! Dr. J and Joann did an amazing job. They came to our house to euthanize our beloved 14 year-old dog. They were kind and caring. They explained the entire process to us and sincerely wanted to get to know us and Molly. Their empathy personalities and efficient process made a difficult situation much more bearable. Taking a pet to the vet is one of the most stressful situations. Dr. J is the best! We recently had to say goodbye to our 10 year old Great Dane. He was too old to get in the car. Dr. J is simply amazing. We consider her part of our family. She and her team are extremely responsive, kind, caring, conscientious, and provide expert care. In-home veterinary care is the only way to go. They save you from uncomfortable car rides with your cat, and the agony of the waiting room when your dog clearly knows what he's in for. They gave loving care to our aging dog as her health declined and helped us through the difficult decisions on medication, surgery and expected quality of life with total compassion and support. When we had to let her go, it was at home where the whole family could be there with her. Dr. J is now treating our new puppy, and patiently answers all the questions from every member of our family. Medical vet stuff like shots, health check, etc. are just the beginning. What we're really getting is the expert knowledge on how to best care for our dog, ensure his well being, and what to plan for as he grows and integrates with his new pack. The prices for their services are the same or lower than storefront clinics, but frankly we don't care about that because the quality of care and value of service they provide is available nowhere else. We have been seeing Dr J for years and just love her. We have two wiener dogs and both have had back issues. Everytime we need help, she is there. My husband and I always say our little Mason has 9 lives and it's because of Dr J's care. She is honest about treatment options and it is clear she cares about our animals and wants the best for them. We moved to Roseville a little over a year ago and still drive down to Pleasanton so our little guys can be checked out by her. read more

I can't say enough good things about Dr Juergens and team!. She has been coming to the house to see our dogs! With two large Shepard's it is difficult to get them in the car and to an office. They love the treats and special treatment! They are not traumatized by other dogs barking at them or all of the weird smells from an office. I wish I could give Dr Juergens 100 stars. First, it's so wonderful to have an in-home vet visit for animals who are as distressed by a trip to the vet as my cats are. Secondly, she and her assistant treat the animals with such care and gentleness that one of my cats actually fell asleep in her lap once following his exam. Dr J is thorough and informative and intelligent and communicates fully. Thirdly her golden heart got us through the horrible end of life of our beloved 21 year old cat. She shifted other patients to get to us that morning that we called about our need to end the cat's suffering. We can't say enough good things about Dr J and JoAnne - they are just fantastic to work with. They have been coming to our home in Sunol to treat both our cats, and in particular they did an amazing job getting our older cat (and us) through his course of kitty chemo and cancer treatment. There was never any question that they had his best interest at heart and constantly worked to keep him comfortable. When it came time to make the difficult decision to let him go, they were there for us - re-arranging their schedule to ensure he was taken care of in a timely fashion and providing incredible emotional support. We adopted a new pup, Joey, and took him to Dr. J to get the once over to make sure he was good. Long story short, he ended up getting bordatella and Dr. J was fantastic at helping us navigate what seems like a scary situation for the human part of the equation. She came to our home, diagnosed him, gave him antibiotics, vitamin B injection to boost his immune system, and re-hydrated him with an IV right in our family room! So much less traumatic for all of us than going to a vet office. We have also had to go through diagnosis and removal of a mass cell tumor with our other pup Phoebe and due to Dr. J's quick diagnosis and expert surgical technique, Phoebe is doing really well. No recurrence!! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. J, Joanne, Linda and the rest of their team. read more

After using them for end of life care for another dog, we brought them back to start care on our "problem child." She has developed a fear of vets and vet offices, so we thought in-home care might provide a better solution to help her get over her fear aggression in addition to our work with a trainer. TVMVS were amazing. They were patient, gentle, but firm, and administered professional care that I hope will reinforce for our dog that vets are not there to do her harm. I absolutely love Dr. Marianna Juergens (Dr. J) new mobile service. I've used it twice in the last couple of months. My animals had been seen by her at a local vet for years and I was so disappointed and lost when she left. I picked up the phone and she was at my house in no time at all. She comes totally prepared with her assistant Christie who is also great and the 2 of them get right down to business. The dogs feel comfortable because they are at home. She handled everything (bloodwork, injections, etc) right in the family room and followed up the next morning with results, follow up and prescriptions. It was wonderful. I'll never take the dogs back into the vet's office again. Wonderful service! read more

Dr. Juergens came to our home to put our beloved dog Lola to sleep and I could not have asked for a more compassionate, caring and kind vet. She helped us do something that we obviously did not want to do but we knew we had to put our dog out of her suffering. I rarely write reviews but cannot miss this opportunity to let you know how awesome Dr J and Joanne are. Before finding Tri Valley Mobile Vet Service my dog, Dudley, had minimal care at best because of his anxiety at the vet offices I had tried. I was so happy to find Tri Valley Mobile Vet a few years ago when I could no longer get him in the car. Dr J and Joanne are the only ones who could trim his nails, examine him and treat him without sedition. The first time they came, Dudley thought they were visitors as Dr J sat on my couch and observed him. She was then able to diagnose him with food allergies after a quick and gentle exam that Dudley mistakenly thought he was getting attention from them . He later became anxious with them too and they continued to be patient and loving to him. Dr J and Joanne were so professional, caring and kind to him and kept him comfortable and pain free for his remaining days. This past weekend. Dudley had to be euthanized due to his kidney failure. Dr J helped me through that decision and the entire difficult situation was made a bit easier. I have had a lot of pets and vet experiences over the last 20 years and Dr J and Joanne are hands down the easiest and most pleasant to work with. read more

When my Veterinarian Dr. Scharg was ill and could not be at the hospital to euthanize my beloved 14 yr. old Decker, I called Tri Valley Mobile Veterinary Service. I had previously worked with Dr. Juergens and Joanne in the Veterinary setting so was familiar with them. It was a great comfort to me to know someone who knew Decker and me were able to help us in this time of great need. They both were extremely compassionate throughout the process, and gave me great comfort which I needed so desparately. After explaining to me my options for after care, I used Valley Pet Loss Center, which came promptly and also treated me with compassion and respect for my beloved Decker. When having to say farwell to a pet family member, Dr. J and Joanne made the process bareable. And I know for the remaining pets I have, this is the way to handle a most difficult situation when the time comes. read more

Our precious dog is 15 years old and in the end stages of her life. Yesterday Dr. Marianna Juergens from Tri-Valley Mobile Veterinary Service came to our home and gave her a full exam, assessed her pain levels, and supplied us the medications needed to keep her comfortable. She and her assistant Joanne were incredibly kind and compassionate. Dr. J even brought us fresh eggs from her chickens! It was so nice to have the home visit, instead of going through the whole stressful vet visit! Dr. J came highly recommended to us by five or six of our neighbors. My golden is now 6 years old. She was traumatized as a pup by another dog and has been terrified to go anywhere that smells of other dogs (vets, groomer, etc) ever since. I tried socialization training as well as other courses but to no avail. And then I found Dr. Marianna Juergens. She and Joanna are truly the BEST!!! The first time they came, my dog was scared but, in the safety of our own home, she quickly took to them. She now loves them!!! And, of course, the most important thing, Dr. Juergens is very compentent. She also cares for two other older dogs (that I know well) with older dog health issues and similar fears. They are so well taken care of and are still going strong. I love Dr. Juergens and her mobile service. One couldn't ask for more! At this point, even if I had a dog that wasn't scared (I have had dogs my entire life), I would use Dr. Juergens because she is that good! read more
