My cat behaved surprisingly well with Dr VK. She had never been out of my house or to see a vet, is typically skittish and hides when people come over, but with Dr VK's gentle manner, she allowed palpitation, mouth exam and even a blood draw! My 13 year old cat Dipstick was suffering from kidney failure and arthritis. His weight had dropped from 28 lbs to under 14 lbs, and I could not watch him suffer any more pain. I wanted someone who would come to my home to euthanize my kitty so I requested a quote Saturday evening and the response was almost immediate. The cost of the service was clearly explained and quite reasonable, so I booked an appointment for Sunday afternoon. The vet was right on time and explained exactly what he would do and what reactions we could expect. He sedated my cat, and before he began the final injection he did something that I didn't expect: he bent over and kissed my beloved pet. It was a powerfully moving gesture I will never forget. We have used Dr VK several times for our dogs mostly for routine stuff but I really like that he is mobile. He can come to your house or you can go to where he parks his mobile office and save an exam fee so his pries are cheaper than other vets. I think its less stressful for my dogs to visits his mobile office compared to going into a regular vet office plus I never have to wait he gets you in an out quickly and efficiently. read more

It's sad to make a vet house call during a cold rainy evening but Dr VK made it less painful for our dog and family. Sai Mobile Vet Clinic has been a tremendous support during the difficult moment as we decided to put down our beloved 12.6 yrs old Shetland Sheepdog to rest forever. She was losing significant weight (down to appox 10 lbs) and ringworm issues after she quit eating in Feb. The night she had a bloody poo made it even worse to handle with her physically fragile body. I called Sai Mobile Vet Clinic right away. Dr VK was easy to talk to over the phone, texted price and service package options, and used professional gestures in approaching the matter. My tears were uncontrollable like a waterfall as I watched the whole process. Dr VK calmly explained every step of the way from the IV insertion, pain med, signs of painlessness, heart-stopping moments, and cleaning method. He then carefully and tenderly carried her out the door with towels. I was standing and seeing her off until I lost sight of the vet in the dark, wet, and cold night. I will never forget the entire scene and moment when I felt a void in my heart. It was a breeze on the day of picking up her urn. Got a text from Dr VK when the urn was ready and the staff was nice and respectful. Dr. VK showed so much care and compassion when we made the difficult decision to put our cat to sleep. It was time. But rather than being clinical and standoffish, Dr. Venkat was warm, personable, and so compassionate not only to us, but also to the cat. He took such great care of our cat both during and after (and us too). He treated the remains with much respect. It wasn't technically necessary, but it was apparent and so appreciated at what was a very difficult time for us. It is hard to say goodbye, but Dr. VK made it just a little bit easier. I have been wanting to write a most favorable review for Sai and he brought two assistance, (because the weight of our dog). So we needed his assistance on June 6, 2021. Our dog woke up yelping/screaming in pain! We think she must've had a stroke. She lost the ability to walk, and just was really kind of 'out of it'. Totally heartbreaking for me... It was so unexpected and she just got a clean bill of health. She was 13... My 13-year-old baby. Anyway, I needed somebody to help her out of her pain... Although I would continue with mine, and I still have it. And I needed somebody to come to our house, because she was an 88 pound dog. Sal and his two assistants were wonderful, they were kind, they were gentle, and they were very professional. He takes debit/credit for payment of you don't have cash. Sad part: old age caught up with our little guy and we were told at the ER today he's only got a few days left. We took him home and called Dr Venkat who saw us on short notice and offered to help with the last few days of his life, in the comfort of our home. Hi Dr Sai: Thank you for taking such good care of my kitty. He never responds to people as he was with you. You had relaxed him and he let i you give him his shots. I just wanted you to know I got moved into the apartment. The pills you gave me to help him relax made him sick at first. I just gave them to him the actual day we moved. But he was so frightened he stayed in a tent I made him in the bathroom for almost a week. But I'm proud to tell you he is doing really well. He's out and about (in the apartment of course-no outside)exploring. Finding hiding places in my closet. This place is much larger so he is learning to roam.
