I have been coming here for years now. Everytime I come the doctor and receptionist are very nice and friendly. Whenever I have concerns for emergency, they are always willing to help out. They are very honest. They never overcharge or recommend treatments that I don't need. This is a review on account of a new patient of their's, Angel and her experience was above and beyond what she was expecting in regards to her treatment. Thank you Loving Dental and below is Angel's review: I recently went through an incredibly upsetting and painful ordeal with a dentist in Whittier. I will not name who that dentist's office was because this review is not about them. But it was because of that situation that I needed to seek out and find a new dentist that would not only listen to my symptoms but understand them and work with me to find a solution to my pain. I found that and so much more at Loving Dental. A few months back I had got a root canal and cap from the other dentist's office, yet after some time I was still in a tremendous amount of pain following the procedure. I tried to seek guidance for my pain from them but received no answers, help or sympathy and was only told that I needed to floss more. Although I did take their advice, I know my own body and was quite aware that there was something else that was not right in regards my root canal. As the pain continued to throb in my mouth I decided it was time to find another dentist so that I might be able to receive a second opinion and that's when I discovered Loving Dental. At my first appointment I had forgotten my insurance card so I had to pay full price for the exam, but when I showed my proof of insurance the next time I went there, I received a refund right away. The ease of the insurance and the refund is only one of the reasons that Loving Dental completely lives up to their name. The dentist took complete care and concern in the examine to determine what could be causing me such pain and he ruled out that the root was the cause of it. He resized my crown so that it fit the way it was supposed to and prescribed me antibiotics and another pain medicine. Due to the quality of care, the time the dentist put in and the consideration that Loving Dental had toward my painful situation, I am ecstatic to report that I am no longer in any pain! Plus, they did not even charge me for resizing my crown! Not only was the dentist experience calming and stress free but the lady at the front desk was so informed and knowledgeable in explaining to me about the insurance and the care & direction of my tooth going forward. Best dentist ever! Honestly if I could Loving Dental more than 5 stars I would. Very extensive with procedures, professional, explains in a way where I understand and feel comfortable. My experience here has been exceptional in the cleanliness of their dental office, friendliness of the staff, and professionalism of the service delivery. You are welcomed with smiling faces when you enter. I was so thankful that Dr. Oh was able to provide a consultation upon xray and taking pictures of my teeth. He was very thorough and detailed in his explanation of the procedures that I needed. I felt like I could trust him for the implants, crown, cavity fillings, wisdom tooth, and root canal that needed to be done. Sure enough, when I sat through each procedure, he made sure I was comfortable and made sure enough anesthesia was given to help with pain. He provided care and followed up. Overcame 21 year trauma of dentist after coming to loving dental. Took out 3 wisdom teeth and did crown molding without any difficulty and they were very detailed from beginning to end. They take x-ray of your teeth in all different angles and sit with you to explain anything and everything so you have clear understanding on the condition of all your teeth. The facility is spotless clean with high end equipment and comfortable seats. Teeth cleaning is very detailed and they give you instructions on how to floss, take care of your teeth and even brush your teeth. They follow up with you after your visit to make sure everything is okay and to remind you of your appointment a day before. I found this place on yelp and Im glad i did! The dentist and staff are all very friendly and professional. Dr Oh spent time cleaning my teeth. Then he explains to me what he found and doesn't get me doing procedures that are unnessary. I can tell that he truly cares. The dental assistant is really gentle when taking my full mouth xray. I came in to get a cavity removed and a filling and the entire process went very smooth and I wasn't ever in discomfort. My experience was very good!! I went to Dr Oh for a second opinion; A previous dentist said that I needed a root canal molar pulled and implant= over $6,000. A friend of mine referred me to Dr Oh. A dental visit was never a pleasant experience for me--and I am sure that it is not one of the favorite experiences for many people--so I was nervous and anxious when I went to this clinic to get some cleaning done. Prior to the visit, I already heard good things about Dr. Oh from my mom who had been successfully treated by him before when she was having so many issues with her crown, which could not be fixed at other clinics. But I still felt nervous as I drove to the clinic. At the clinic, however, the relaxing atmosphere of the clinic with a soothing classical music in the background and the assistant's considerate manner greatly reduced my anxiety. Moreover, Dr. Oh was very thorough throughout the entire procedure, double checking and making sure that every issue, from minor to major, was discovered and properly treated; he consistently made sure that I was handling well by asking me if I was doing okay and if I wanted to take a break any time as well. I liked the fact that the entire staff at the clinic was very keen on communicating with the patient; the assistant and Dr. Oh consistently tried to make sure that I was doing okay and understood what was going on through a constant communication with me. I also felt thankful to Dr. Oh for taking his time to go over every single detail of issues or questions I had about the procedure and the necessary treatment plans after the general checkup and the cleaning were done. Overall, I really appreciated all the care and services the staff at this clinic provided me during my visit. The procedure might not have been one of those complicating treatments, but I was very much impressed by Dr. Oh's thoroughness during the procedure. Dr. Oh is my primary dentist here at Loving Dental. They accept United Concordia insurance for a reservist as well. Their service is really great. Especially, Dr. Oh is very professional and proficient in his skills at the same time he treats his patient with such kindness and warmth so that getting dental work might become somewhat less stressful than usual. The receptionist is also very nice and always want to help out patients to find the best fitting time and satisfaction. I got my 3 wisdom teeth pulled out here.
