Tbh I've been pushing off writing a review because I've been conflicted on how I feel. I decided to write it because i ultimately decided I don't think I'll be coming back . I had my first appointment back in July and I booked for me and my fiance. I saw the dentist and a dental hygienist overall had a nice experience with the actually dentistry aspect. The hygienist was even concerned about my long drawn out medical history which again I appreciated. But while I was checking out I noticed some hostility with the front desk girls, the hostility was not towards me but to each other. One of the girls was frustrated the other girl couldn't find a form I needed. No big deal they moved past it but while I was waiting for my fiancee to finish up they started bickering again . One of the girls had thought the other girl left me unattended and assumed I was still waiting to be checked out. And then when I call the referral they gave my fiancee for a root canal there was no number circled to reference what tooth he needed done so I call their office @5:49pm to clarify because yelp says they close at 9. They don't answer so I leave a voicemail saying we needed the tooth number or they can't perform the root canal. The next morning they call at 10:48am and say they're calling me bc they "assume" they missed a call from me..... WHAT! I just feel like it's too disorganized and it's already stressing me out just from one visit read more

My husband and I have been coming to this dental office for the past few years. We love that it's relatively close to us and everyone---from the front ladies to the hygienists to the doctors---are all fantastic and friendly. Major shoutout to Betty who has been an absolute amazing human being who deals with my teeth monstrosities, offers wonderful advice, and is super personable and friendly. She makes dental cleanings way more interesting than they can be. Love her! Thank you, LM One Dental, for taking care of the fam and my teeth. No one looks forward to getting teeth cleaned and visiting for teeth in general, but they make it tolerable and even slightly enjoyable :) ALSO: At my most recent visit, Betty showed me this "Comfort Menu." It lists things we can ask for like blanket, coffee/water/tea, lip balm, earplugs, etc. Pretty comprehensive. Got the lip balm because I am guilty of forgetting to balm up and end up getting cracked lips every time I leave my appointments. Wish I took a pic of that laminated menu card. I was suffering from extreme pain from one of my wisdom teeth, I called in and they where able to take me in next day, Desire did a great job making me feel comfortable during the appointment set up and greeting me when I arrived, provided peace of mind and gained my trust, upon arrival I was greeted and she explained everything well, Dr. Park had to extract my wisdom tooth, process was quick, minimal to no pain. I am happy and glad I went to their office, everyone is nice and welcoming, thank you Dr. Park and all the staff! We will definitely be coming back here for our dental care needs. read more

I have been to this office 3 times so far and each visit has been the best experience. I was looking for a new dentist since I am fairly new to the area and literally walked into this office by chance to see if they could see me the same day. Sabrina at the front desk greeted me and was so kind to accommodate me. I then had the pleasure of meeting Grace who was so sweet and welcoming while taking my x-rays. I then met Dr Park. I needed an emergency extraction and a bone graft. (Oh what fun :/ lol)He took care of it right away and it seems to have healed very nicely. Next two visits I had were with Jenny, the dental hygienist for deep cleaning. We vibed like we already knew one another. Rudi has also been at the front the last two times that I was in and she is also nice and accommodating. I met Kaitlyn(sorry if I misspelled the name) for the first time on my last visit. During our brief interaction, she was nice as well. I would say if you are looking for a warm welcoming, great service and friendly dental office, this is the place to go. Maybe I came on a bad day! However, this was the worst dental experience I ever had a dental office to the point I left crying. I woke up with pain on New Year's Eve (tuesday) & pushed it to the side because it was manageable. This was my fault & I should have called dental offices that day for appointments! I woke up Wednesday in so much pain to the point I was taking Advil, Tylenol, ibuprofen, and excedrin to manage + oragel. Most dental offices were closed due to new years so I stuck out the pain till the following day, Thursday. I was able to schedule an appointment at La mirada one dental and was so excited to go in because the pain as was unbearable. Because of this, it was the first thing I told the receptionist, Dr park, and the x ray tech - just so they knew the importance of fixing that issue. Not only did Dr. park spend 10-15 minutes trying to figure out the problem, he didn't want to address my pain. It was the weirdest thing to me. I told him I had pain and he would zoom in and out of the X Ray and then switch to the colored x Ray and start talking to me about where I chew most frequently based on the red patterns. I waited to hear more thinking that was the root of pain. Nothing. He eventually would press on my tooth with the pain (not sensitive to the fact I told him it was excruciating but I get it, he needed to do so) and he told me I needed a cap. He left the room and I thought okay a cap will fix the issue, perfect. However, some woman walks in and tells me we'll need to reschedule for that + pay x amount. My mouth dropped because I just told everyone about my pain and I would have to reschedule 3 days from now. I nudged a little and said "is there anything that can be done today because I'm truly in pain" and she suggested Advil. I said no. So she told the dentist and he came back in to examine my teeth again?? Told me "well maybe you need a root canal" and tells me he can't do root canals so he refers me to a endodontist and proceeds to tell me they're gonna be closed all weekend so my problem wouldn't be addressed till Monday! As he's telling me this, I was tearing up because I knew my pain wouldn't be addressed that day and I was being pushed out. I went to the wonderful and ONLY amazing staff there to get my referral (the receptionist) and she asked what pharmacy I wanted my pain meds sent to and I was confused because I wasn't told about medication. She told me "did he not prescribe you anything" I said no and so she said "but you're in pain right?" I SAID YES so this wonderful women stands up and tells Dr park "can we prescribe her something she's in pain" and I kid you not, he stared at her for a whole minute as if he was annoyed! I swear, I walked out crying and called my fiance in tears. As soon as I got home my fiance was on a phone with dental offices that were opened on the weekend so I could get a second opinion. He got me in to Gold Coast dental in La habra, FIRST THING NEXT DAY . As soon as I went there, not only did a dentist RUN in to check the pain out, the entire staff would come in to not only check on me but would assure me they wouldn't let me walk out with pain (as long as my insurance covered/I paid of course which I was more than willing!!) after only ONE look at ONE x ray the new dentist told me I needed a root canal right away and a crown and even gave me a discount! He did it all that day! I walked in at 8am and left by 10:30. I was SO grateful, I wanted to cry. This amazing experience made me hate la mirada one dental so much more. So all in all, be ready to advocate for yourself here and if you want an amazing dentist, gold coast dental in la habra is amazing! I am two weeks post root canal FROM A CAPABLE DENTIST and feel no pain, no discomfort & NO TEARS! read more
