They took people's money and then closed. I was told I was on the call back list as soon as they reopened but that never happened!

Just stumbled on some of these 2023 reviews and I totally agree. I was a customer in 2017-2019. In 2019, LL cancelled at least three of my appointments due to equipment failure and staff shortages. I usually skip summer months because tanned skinned cannot be lasered. When I finally got to another appointment in late 2019, they made me pay a new membership fee since there had been a lapse in my visits. Said that it was mandated by the state. They took no ownership of the cancellations that they had made. I paid $1800 and had one appointment. Then came Covid, I called and asked about my February 2020 appointment and they were really rude. All I did was ask what the plan was. They shamed me for even calling and asking about it. They said "no one else is calling" and that they would let me know when appointments resumed. So, I never called back waiting on them while my February, March and April appointments went by. Most offices opened back up for business and I still never heard from them. In July, I drove to their building and found a closed sign on the door. Later, I found out that they decided to shut down and took everyone's paid fees with them. They made no calls, no apologies, just took everyone's money and left. read more

My husband had bought me the package for facial hair removal. I was going for quite some time then COVID happened and shut them down. I was told once they opened back up, I would be contacted to schedule and appointment....that never happened and my facial hair is back. read more

I wish I would have read some of these reviews before I allowed Teresa to take my $5K. She assured me that as long as I continued to show for 'maintenance', that they would guarantee the work. They closed allegedly because of the COVID pandemic and never reopened. Very unprofessional! Lasers were always broken and the business is a sham. Nurses were clearly unhappy with the way that Teresa ran her business and often vented to me during treatments, suggesting that I discuss how poorly the operation was run directly with Teresa. Teresa was never available. She scammed people in Nashville in a similar way. I plan to take this b**** to court. Others who want to join for a 'class action', please let me know. read more

What is up with Loving Laser? Theresa Loving schedules appointments that they don't keep, reschedules you for another day but on arrival you find out you're not on their schedule, and it happens again! She was quick to take money so you can get started, but doesn't follow through. She offered a refund, but hasn't delivered and fails to return phone calls. People have told me their main machine is broken with no repair time in sight. Are they even still in business? Are they providing ANY service at this point? Don't waste your time or money! Wouldn't give ANY stars since they NEVER provided what they promised, but any rating is required for Yelp. Customer service is a farce. read more

Had to take Loving Laser to court to get a refund for services not rendered because owner refused to issue refund herself. Won my case for everything I was asking for. Owner had 10 days to pay, it's been six weeks. Have to now go back to court and have judge order owner to give me her list of interrogatories (list of assets and financials) because owner refuses to do it herself. Client for 11yr. Failure to see results on legs & I've been 100% compliant. Think I've had 48-49 treatments they report. Customer service last 12 months has been awful, and that's being kind in words about it. They cancel appointments and don't tell you until you call to confirm. They moved locations, without notification of clients other than noting it on Facebook. Lasers have been broke for about a year + so they are using outdated equipment & owner not purchasing updated equipment per nurse today. My friend was even scarred from the old equipment. I question if it even works because I feel no sensations with it like I used too 10+ years ago. The Nashville office closed a few years ago & I wonder what's going on in Louisville office? I advise to not spend your money with Loving Laser. The owner Theresa has been unpleasant/unprofessional on the phone. She's told me all these years they have been treating me they are probably just treating skin & not hair? She was accusing me of lying about hair on my legs. Why would anyone want laser treatment on skin & trust me it's a painful with the old laser IF it actually is working & taking time out of my life. I was told by Annette & Theresa in 2008 after 8-9 treatments the hair would be gone. Let's try 10-11 YEARS later; it is still there & Im still going. The last 1+ years service is awful. A waste of time & 2800+. The nurse working today was solo in office. She rushed thru my visit & said she only had 15minutes to treat me? I had fully hairy legs upper/lower. She was aggravated you could see with her demeanor & unable to schedule me for a follow up because she said she's not a secretary & doesn't do admin work? Well, where was the admin person today? I walked in, no one greeted me & a handwritten sign said to sign in and the nurses would be with you. Seemed unsafe to have a door wide open & no one assisting or guiding anyone. Granted empty office as it seems every time I've gone in recent. I also wonder who the medical director is because obviously something is not working with this many treatments & I've been compliant. The medical directors name is not on their site and working nurse seemed clueless & said since moving locations they never saw them ? Don't spend ANY money here. Biggest waste of time & money. I'd love to turn back time & have gone elsewhere. I plan to file with BBB & medical board. read more

I've went to loving laser for over a year and everything was great. The nurses really are wonderful. So why 2 stars? Since they've been at the new location I had appointments rescheduled so many times. One time I received a call while I was on my way to the appointment. So 3-4 appts they rescheduled. Then they couldn't get me in and put me on their cancellation list. So annoyed I called and left a voicemail stating if they couldn't get me in then they need to refund part of my services. I've held up my end of the deal, but they have not. Of course I received a call back the next day getting me in on a Sunday, which is not a normal day for any appointment. I forgot. I know, that's on me but I realized I forgot 10 minutes after my appt time. I immediately called and offered to be there in 10 minutes. The owner was so rude and wouldn't take me up on my offer. I've honestly been to afraid to call. So here I am months later and I am treating myself to new treatment on my legs. Needless to say, I will not be calling loving laser even if I were to get another area for free. read more

I really appreciate all the work the staff does. Theresa is always working to ensure her staff are educated, trained and they have the most up to date technology. Plus her staff are super friendly and helpful. My last appointment was about an hour, mainly for some touch up spots on my arms and legs. I have been so pleased with the results. Needless to say, middle school me is thrilled! Also, I don't know if you've been to their new location but it's perfect for them! It almost looks like the first floor of an old home. I was immediately welcomed when entering for my appointment and offered a beverage. I noticed that the sweets were moved as well! And all of the wonderful books and little nick nacks are there. As far as the procedure goes, if you've never had laser hair removal it can be painful but it doesn't last long and the aloe applied before and after is very soothing. read more

I have bit my tongue the last year but this place is TERRIBLE so i finally decided to cut my losses and give up. The owner is god awful. Your results will suck. I've gone consistently for 10 years and am still not finished. I don't know what happened this year but they would cancel my appt multiple times the day of or day before. I'd ask when they'd get me in and she'd say "we'll call you." I finally demanded a set appointment. Between their move this year and whatever else has happened, I'd never recommend this place to anyone. I'd encourage everyone to file with the Better Business Bureau and write reviews on here, google, yelp, everywhere. The woman sucks at business, plain and simple. My experience at Loving Laser in Louisville, Kentucky was horrible! I paid $1000 for a facial/neck package several years ago, and Theresa Loving told me it was guaranteed to work and I could come back indefinitely for touch ups. I only had 5 or 6 sessions and at my last one I had the most hateful nurse ever, who didn't want to work on me because my face/neck area was broke out. I told her it was because of the hair growth and that's why I was having the laser removal because of this problem. She kept being hateful and making me feel absolutely awful, so I then walked out of the treatment room and told the girl at the desk that I needed to have someone else perform this treatment on me because the nurse i started with was a hateful b**ch. They had another nurse do the procedure, but that was the last time I ever went there and I would never go back or recommend Loving Laser. I still had facial hair, and I lost $1,000. I've had very good experiences with this small business over the years. Staff is friendly and helpful, answering my questions and providing me with good information about what to expect. I've had pretty good results. Only once have the staff called to reschedule an appointment and that was due to equipment failure. I hate to leave negative feedback, but my experience with Loving Laser was the worst customer service experience I've ever had, so I'd like to share with others in the hope that they can avoid a similar experience. I purchased a package of laser treatments that included a guarantee that additional sessions would be offered if required until all hair had been removed. Before the treatments were completed, the Loving Laser center in Nashville (where I lived) closed down. I wasn't informed of the closure, and when I tracked down the clinic in Kentucky to find out what happened, they refused to issue a refund for the services that they were no longer providing in Nashville. So essentially, I just lost all of the money I had paid this business since they refused to provide the services in a location I could reach and refused to provide a refund. Worse than that though was my treatment by the owner who was very rude and threatening when I discussed the matter with her. Specifically, when I said I would share my experience in user reviews such as this, she yelled "there are laws against that" (I can only assume she was referring to free speech?) and threatened to send her lawyers "to fire back" if I share my experience. In summary, this business did not provide the services they agreed they would, would not issue a refund since they were not able to provide these services, and treated a customer very rudely. I always love when it's time for my next appointment! The ladies in the office are so great and always so nice! They always greet you with a smile. They make me feel at ease and make me leave their office feeling more confident and of course, hair free! I love Loving Laser and recommend this business to anyone! Shaving is so overrated! I had decided to get laser hair removal and Loving Laser was the cheapest option overall. However I was told it was required that I pay $1780 up front for their Buy One Get One half off and two free areas deal. After several attempts to come in for an evaluation appointment and not getting phone calls when I was told I would, I paid the money Friday May 3 over the phone, and went for the first appointment May 15. I was told by the person at the desk that I was not on the schedule, and to call Teresa to figure it out. I called her and made an appointment for the next day at 12:30pm. I called at 11:20am that morning and cancelled the appointment - I never signed a contract or anything. I was told that was fine since there had been such a hassle to get me in, and she would refund my money once she was back in the office - none of the nurses could possibly do it. She expected to be back the next week. I called the week after to check and she said that she was still out of town on the west coast but should be back the next week. I called again the next week and was told the same, but was told that she was there for lymphoma treatments since she had a double mastectomy and it had not healed well. For the next two weeks when I called she told me the same story - getting more treatments but should be back next week. For the next two weeks I called her to find out what was going on and she did not answered despite the fact that I know she is calling other people to make appointments - she has told me that she has my name and number saved. I have been strung along and ignored for a full 2 months now. Seeing other peoples reviews I see that this is standard behavior for her, please do not use this business!
