He spent so many hours working on it, traveling to Rancho Cordova to get a part that he was told they had. They actually didn't have it. He ended up getting the part from a colleague in Tahoe. Long story short, both my keys were deemed defective with replacements quoted at $600 plus $100 to reprogram.. with an unforeseen ship date since keys were "indefinitely back ordered," which they failed to lmk when I ordered! I appreciate that you came out and did a service to fix my door lock. However I think that $160 to put in a $28 lock set is a bit extreme, even for a mobile service. Originally I just needed a rekey. The quote for $100 was already a lot, especially when I called around the next day and found out most people charge $20 for the same service.
