The search was on and even though I have driven by here numerous times I have never stopped. Pulled my car in and headed to the back to park. This place immediately cheered me up as they have a beautiful selection of plants and trees. But most importantly they had my lemongrass plant. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. Recommendation to other customers, DO NOT start the work until you have the…read moreestimate in writing. Very poor business practice in this company. I called Bloomhouse Landscape and Irrigation to obtain an estimate to replace 13 sprinkler heads. I was informed that the cost should not exceed $700, if the cost when above that, I would be informed before moving forward. I walked the ground with the two-man team to explain what I needed. The team lead recommended an additional sprinkler head in the back yard. I asked for the cost, and he stated that it should not exceed $100, so I agreed, thinking that the total cost would be around $800. Upon the finish, I walked the ground to check the sprinkler heads. I'm satisfied with the work and provided the lead person with $40 cash, a $20 bonus for each person. Later, I was informed that the bill was $1,881.83, over a $1,000 increase over the estimate. I paid with a check and three (3) days later I still don't have a receipt. I've called the office 3-4 times trying to obtain why the large increase in cost and for a receipt. Still no reply. I won't use this company for any work moving forward. Recommendation to other customers of this company, DO NOT start the work until you have the estimate in writing.
