Lowe's was a great choice & the positive reviews were correct. After working out a price over the phone, Lowe's scheduled an appointment for the next day. Mykhaylo arrived on time, removed his shoes, performed the procedure quietly & efficiently, was very friendly and polite. After the job was completed he vacuumed up everything, he even cleaned the dryer's lint filter. Thank you Mykhalo for doing a great job & taking the stress away - now I know the dryer is good to go. Not good. Hours late. Lied about what they do. Lied about sub-contracting! I noticed they say they don't contract out but the guy that does the actual work says he is a separate contractor...That's never good no quality control. They said they'll send before and after photos- not 1 photo even though I reminded them twice. Didn't vacuum out most of the ductwork. Then the worker complained the whole time. We were very polite. Not an organised well run company didn't do a good job. Now I have to hire a new company to do what I payed Lowes to do. I wouldn't recommend them. I wonder if the positive reviews are legit or just family and friends. Anyway, did a bad job and didn't finish their work.. I have a small house, they're not cheap. I'd never recommend. read more

This company cleaned our airducts pretty well. They showed us before and after pictures when the job was completed. I did not like the way they handle payment $ 320 for cash and $ 399 for credit card. I offered a check payment or Venmo, they said check is $ 399. It has to be real Cash for $ 320!! I called another company in Alexandria for another property. The other company has more good reviews and they only charge $ 259 for the same service. They accept credit card, cash or check for one price. I decide to use with the other company because of that $ 140 difference. read more

Lowe's is incredible to work with, not only are they easy to get appointments with they are flexible and the technician is extremely professional and either took his shoes off or brought his own booties to cover his shoes(he came a couple times) I would HIGHLY recommend them!!! read more

Lowe's apparently contracted my job out to some other company. Some guy in a Brekman or something van showed up with a different shirt and everything. He did an ok job as far as I can tell but he did try to upsell me on a few things. I chose Lowes because of their reputation and the reviews - now I know that they are probably fake and they are just contracting jobs out to whoever will take the lowest cut. This is annoying for people like me who check to see if companies have BBB ratings, have licenses etc. Unprofessional, rude and possibly illegal. read more

Great experience with Mike (Mykhaylo), I knew I had a harder than typical job (3 zone split level that had been through a renovation and probably 20+ years of vent neglect) but Mike worked hard without compliant and provided plenty of fairly dramatic before & after pictures. Camilo came out and cleaned our ducts and did an excellent job. He was friendly and unobtrusive in the house. He did an awesome job cleaning our vents and ducts, which was a bog job as I don't think the previous owners had ever had them cleaned. Because of COVID-19 and everyone and their cousin working from home, I needed servicing on the weekend, which Lowe's was able to accommodate (though it took several weeks). The technician, Mike, was very thorough. For the one dryer he was able to service properly, he vacuumed not just the vent (and fixed the horrendous situation it was in...), but also around the machine by the lint filter and around it and from the back exhaust. So he didn't take dryer apart and vacuum out the guts (I would have to call an appliance repair place for that or DIY), but he vacuumed everywhere else. For my other dryer a different location/building, he couldn't service it because we discovered that my dryer vent was not connected all the way to where it should exhaust into the garage. So that has to be fixed first... sigh... We also took a stroll around the garage (where the dryers are supposed to vent to), and he pointed out that several other units had the same problem of disconnected vents, while the other units' vents were just plain filthy / very clogged (but at least they were connected LOL?!). He did, however, clean the HVAC air vents for that unit, and I watched the entire time. He did the job he was paid to do, and he did it well. Mike was also very careful to clean up afterwards at both places. Will use Lowe's again in the future to clean my air and dryer vents and shame on me for waiting so long to do them in the first place (dirty vents are a health and potential fire hazard). read more

Lowe's arrived promptly and did a great job. They spent approximately 4.5 hours cleaning out the ducts and did a great job. Lowe's price was really great in comparison with some other duct cleaners who described the same job. I would use them again and recommend Lowe's. read more

Slava came over yesterday to clean all the ducts in our home. He called and told us what time he'd arrived and was punctual to the minute! We was polite- professional and very throughly did the work- He showed us photos of before and after and I think ours were pretty bad We had a a great experience and feel he did an amazing job. Great experience with dryer duct cleaning. They confirmed a two hour window and when the tech Mike (Mykhaylo) was a bit late, they took 10% off without my even asking for that. I didn't know where the duct vented to (new house) but Mike quickly figured it out. I had an appointment at 9 AM on a Saturday. Slava called before he arrived and arrived a few minutes early to begin work. You never know what you're going to get when you hire a service but I am happy to say Lowe's is great! Pavlo did a super job, called ahead, showed on time, came in did his work efficiently and quickly and was done in about 90 minutes. I booked via Angieslist, and upon booking, someone from Lowe's called to make and confirm the appointment for 8am a week later on a Wednesday. The morning of, I got a call at 7:40am to expect them at 8 and the technician, Slava, arrived right on time. We walked through my duplex apartment and reviewed all the areas that would require service. Slava explained the equipment he would be using and bringing in the house, and was able to answer any questions I had. He even offered some suggestions for improving the air quality/positioning of my air filters on my HVAC system that I had been previously unaware of. The cleaning job was extremely careful and thorough, and I definitely won't be putting this off for years before my next appointment! We were very pleased with the work provided by Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning. Slava did an excellent job, starting with a call as to when he would arrive. He explained the process, gave us an estimate of how long it would take which was quite accurate, and answered any questions we had. Despite they state this on their website " WILL THERE BE A LOT OF DUST IN THE HOUSE AFTER THE SERVICE? No. Absolutely no dust will be left in the house after our technicians leave. Because of the powerful negative pressure all the dust is being collected on a HEPA filter rather than being blown back to the house" , my house got completely dirty as the system continues to throw dust of through the vents days after the service was done. I have a severe alergy to dust and the idea of hiring the service was to get a better air quality without turning my house into a bed of dust. The technician was a nice person, but was alone to do the service in 2 heating units, so it took him from 2pm to 10pm to finish the service. Don't recommend it read more

The work was great, he was prompt and thorough and let me know about a problem with my dryer duct connection that he wasn't able to fix. I don't give full stars because they were very pushy about asking me to leave a Yelp review - and when I didn't immediately do so, they emailed me again to "remind" me.
