I requested that they clean three different dryer vents. They cleaned the first two, but had to come back for the third because the occupant was not there and had to reschedule. They came back and re-cleaned one vent and then cleaned the intended one, plus an additional service that I did not request. I talked to them while their technician was still there and they said that I would not be charged for the re-cleaning. However, I was. update: I exchanged emails with a supervisor, who quickly got back to me, and admitted that they made a mistake, and I was only responsible for the service that I had requested. I noticed that there might be an issue with my dryer vent and knew it had probably not been cleaned years if not decades. I made inquiries for estimates on Yelp and got the hard sell from Green Ductors, who told me that their special price was only good that day. It was indeed a good price, but I learned that you get what you pay for. First they canceled last minute b/c a worker had an injury. That's understandable, but then they came 7 hours before they said they were going to come (Sat. morning instead of Sat. afternoon), even though I had been told they would call when they were on their way. It nearly turned into a nightmare. They young man they sent insisted that I wouldn't be able to use my dryer again unless I let him cut a larger 1" hole in my ceiling. Luckily he backed off when confronted with my 6-foot husband. I ended up having to pay $75 extra above the quoted price for him to figure out how to reattach the vent, but at least I had a working dryer again. He left a bit of a mess behind. The owner reached out with the inspection report a week after the visit, offering to give a discount on future repairs, which was a nice gesture. They were experiencing technical difficulties and seem to want to do better in the future in person-to-person communication. read more

From my first call I knew they would be good. Inga listened carefully to my problem and understood what I was describing and what was needed. They were very easy to book and gave me a very clear quote (almost half of what I paid another company who had to come back 3x and could never fix the problem). I had a clogged dryer vent, partially from birds nests. I live on the second floor of an apartment building and was worried about them getting to the vent from the outside. But they brought the right ladders (a little scary to an observer) and Alex got right to it and figured out and fixed the problem.
