I like the emphasis placed on local groceries and produce. We chose to get the Carolina Crate for the summer. For $300, every Saturday, we pick up a box of local produce from celery, tomatoes or greens to potatoes or berries. Overall, prices can be a bit more than other establishments. They make great sushi, and there are deals on Wednesday if you have the rewards card and a discount is taken off at checkout. This picture is the roll I recently had, and it was fantastic! Excellent flavor and a very nice amount of tuna on top. I was pleasantly surprised, because usually I just have a California roll with our daughter nothing fancy so for a grocery store it's better than some of the restaurants we have tried around here honestly. I would highly suggest getting the rewards card. It will make a big difference on the deal or sale items. Lowe's has an app as well you can use to scan and see sales. This location has the WORST customer service out of anywhere in Greenville. Nobody wants to help you with anything. I've been there several times (because although I don't like their service, I like their food). The last few visits played out like this: 1. Deli- waited for someone in the kitchen to notice us standing there since we wanted to order some hot chicken. The guy that works there that usually wears the chicken hat and doesn't look like he wants to be there finally saw us and STILL didn't come out to help. Finally he took our order and was very stand-offish. When we asked if they could heat up the burnt ends he very rudely said "Nope". Handed us our food and didn't say a single word. 2. Went in to look at their holiday stuff in the front. One of the employees was backing in one of the scooters and I asked her If she knew what the prices were on the pumpkin pie spice since none of them had price tags listed. She said "nope" and continued doing what she was doing. In my head, I was just like ok?? You're not going to try to find out?? 3. Last visit and probably our final visit was yesterday (11/16 around 5 pm- we went to the butcher to look at their meats. The guy that was working was washing dishes and saw us waiting to order and just continued to wash dishes. He obviously did not want to help anyone, so we finally just left. I don't know what their standards are for hiring people but this location needs to do better. I absolutely hate going here solely because of the service and I don't think I'll be back. All of their employees suck at their job. _______________________________________________________ UPDATE- I was contacted by the site director and had the opportunity to share my experiences there. I'm very appreciative that they took the time to reach out to me to let me know they were working on addressing these issues with their team to improve their customer service. So happy that this store is finally done with renovations. It seemed like it took forever! The place itself is nice and big with a lot of options. It reminds me of a fancier Bi-Lo because that's what it basically is. The prices regular price can be expensive so I always get stuff on sale. They have given up when it comes to carrying about the appearance and cleanliness of the store. As soon as you walk in it's filthy. Floors and glass is really dirty. The check out had dirt and hair all over the scanner. The floors around looked like they haven't been cleaned in months. Imagine what it looks like behind the scenes. The employees where nice though! I've been to a couple few Lowes Foods locations in the Greenville area but this one was a disappointment. I used to visit this place when it was a Bi-Lo but apparently, Bi-Lo isn't a think in the area anymore. The beer variety is what gives this place a 2/5 and without the beer selection, it's a solid 1/5. Feigning for some lunch, I grabbed a pre-made cheese pizza in the warming rack near the entrance for $6.99 because my hankering for pizza was out of control. I should have exercised better judgement and passed on the pizza but I didn't. Once I returned home and took my first bite, I was reminded why warming tables are a HORRIBLE idea. That's right, this "pizza" was sitting there for over an hour which made the crust solid like a rock and inedible. I was overcome with disappointment and realized that I "got what I paid for." Based on the higher than average prices associated with Lowes Foods, I didn't think I was destined for disappointment. Yes, I'm just passing through but I hate feeling scammed by the Lowes Foods process. If I ever visit another Lowes Foods, I'll never purchase anything on a warming ANYTHING again and I suggest you don't either! read more

Went looking for some coffee while at a conference and someone local suggested Lowes. The atmosphere was very charming for a grocery store, the coffee area had nice high top tables to sit at and relax. The Americano I had was from an automatic machine but was very very good! Even had crema which was surprising. And the best part was the great price!! Never had that good of an Americano for 2.49. read more

I love the idea and business plan of the store. However, there are many unfortunate things going on that I blame on Management. It all starts at the top. I purchase fresh (previously frozen) shrimp from the seafood section. When I got home and smelled it, it was already gone. I still tried to eat it with my favorite cocktail sauce, but it almost made me sick. Recently I went in to try the beer den. The beer is great and the atmosphere is fun. When I went to the bathroom, it had the appearance of not being cleaned since precovid. I went in again for a beer a month later and the bathroom was worse with nothing to was or dry your hands with. Ironically there's a sign in there insinuating how much they care about the cleanliness and if it's not satisfactory to let the host know "huh"? It's so vile in there and it's obvious no one cares. Then I remembered I need some cheese. I walk over to this beautifully displayed cheese and cracker section. First thing I see on this expensive cheese is mold. Mold everywhere on parmigiana Romano, and some of the other types. I didn't have time to examine everything, but it just was the convincing moment that employees and or management does not care. Cancelled order and still delivered 1 hour over the time window. Management style of ignoring your problems does not mean that you do not have any at this location. Shop at Greer. That store is far better in every aspect and never had an issue when they were the store that delivered. read more

The store men's room has urine crusted on the fixtures as if it's never been properly cleaned in months. Entire restroom smelled terrible of stale urine, so I doubt it is ever properly cleaned. I generally question wether anything else is properly clean in any establishment that neglects the restroom. read more

Very nice place to shop being all new and getting better. Only negative is this is the second time I've gone to customer service and the young employees behind the counter are in a group shooting breeze together and ignoring me. I stood there a couple minutes and no one came over to assist me.
