One difference between mine back home and this one is that the staff is a bit more friendly and knowledgeable. Needed some electrical stuff for my mom's house and the guy in the isle was very helpful. Made my mom feel good and that means a lot to me. I'm redoing my whole house and spent around $3500,00 in about a week at the green lowe's.i went up to purchase some more supplies and need some twine to tie down my items.whem I told the guy he called someone right away but it took 15 to 20 minutes for him to come up .when he did he looked at me and completely ignored me and helped someone else . I went back in and asked the guy at the cash register to find somebody to get me some twine and he finally called someone else and then it took him another 15 to 20 minutes to finally come out and bring it out the lady cashier who was very nice told me that I should talk to the manager so she called him I explained to him what went on and he act like it didn't matter that I needed wine or anything else and he seemed put out to even talk to me . You told me that was fine so he really didn't care about his customers at all since then I've been around $4,000 at other lumber yards Lowe's on Arlington Street and green is horrible and the management doesn't care I left my number for the main manager of the whole store to call me and still haven't received the message Menards or home Depot 100% better than Lowe's read more

After a terrible experience with the ladies at the paint department in Home Depot (yes, the one on Arlington) I felt totally defeated. I wanted to just go home and throw in the towel on my diy project, but I thought I would give lowes a try. The entire staff at the paint department in lowes was so helpful, offering advice and explaining the products to me. Steve was awesome, he shared my enthusiasm for old furniture finds and was interested in my project (at least he acted like it :)). Thank you so much for making my evening! read more

We purchased a dishwasher from Lowes and opted to have Lowes install it. What a terrible decision. During the installation of the dishwasher the installer decided to use a pry bar that cause the counter top to become removed from the cabinets below. A support from underneath the counter was broken away from under that cabinet. The installer left and never mentioned the damage he had caused. When I went to the Lowes store they assured me that this would be resolved and apologized for the inconvenience. I had expressed that we did not want the same installer tthat caused the damage to the counter top to come out since he had no integrity to own up to the damaged caused. After speaking to John Ruggles Service Production Supervisor CPO, CSC-I Lowe's Companies, Inc. I thought that our situation would be resolved. However still no call from a countertop installer to assess the damage caused by the appliance installer.  I followed up with him the next morning. No resolution  told that the original installer required a chance to look at damage and possibly fix the damage. Meanwhile my girlfriend received a call to stop out and look at the job. The original installer who damaged our countertop during installation of a dishwasher by prying the counter top with a pry bar with out authorization. Two witnesses saw him use it. The installer attempted to blame the damage caused by his lack of common sense on the original installation of countertop? Which is ridiculous as the countertop was properly functioning prior to be wrenched with a pry bar. The installer was not professional or accountable in any way. The amount of inconvenience and lack of professionalism that we have experienced as a result of Lowes installers negligence is appalling. I have request that an area field manager contact me three times today. Please have them call me 856-952-0601. I have initiated a claim through customer care #1-18489261329. I bought a washer/dryer set at the Lowes store in Green (44685) on March 21, 2023. They were delivered on March 23, 2023. The salesperson did not tell me that this store does not deliver, that they sub contract that out, although the delivery truck was a Lowes delivery truck. Two people brought in the appliances. One of the two men needed to use my bathroom and he was in there FOREVER. He was not around to help the other guy and I NOW have $456.89 worth of damage to my home because the one guy demolished the front of my freezer because the other guy wasn't around to help!!! The guy that spent so much time in the bathroom also asked me " What do I do all day" which I thought was extremely rude and also why would he ask me such a question?? Lowes said I need to deal with the delivery company " Retail Direct LLC" for my DAMAGES. I have been trying since March 23, 2023 to get Retail Direct to do ANYTHING!! Why wouldn't LOWES be responsible for the damages since Retail Direct works for them??? This has been a nightmare for me and is ruining my blood pressure big time!! Lowes used to do their own deliveries but stopped. Wouldn't it have been nice if when I bought the appliances if the salesman would have told me that another company will be delivering the appliances and if they damage my house I need to deal with that company, NOT LOWE'S. I may NEVER get my house back to the way it was before I made the mistake of going to the Lowe's store in 44685!! Do your blood pressure and your precious time a favor and NEVER EVER BUY ANY APPLIANCE'S FROM THIS STORE UNLESS YOU CAN PICK THEM UP YOURSELF. After leaving Home Depot in disgust as no one would help me I went to this store. I needed some plywood sheets ripped. The store manager Stephanie was walking by and asked if I need help loading on my cart and did so without asking. Then she had Vic and Trent rip the wood for me and load. I came in just to browse and get ideas. Every staff member I passed acknowledged me and made me feel welcome. I needed to locate and item I couldn't find and a gentleman informed me they didn't have it but offered to call one of the larger locations to check. I didn't take him up on the offer but it was appreciated he offered. Upon checking out there was only two people in front of me but another employee offered to ring me out. Lowes is one of the few places I can find my favorite Method daily shower cleaner...so thank you Lowes for carrying it. I was very happy with the staff at this location. read more

The individual who came to my house to measure and provide the estimate was very professional, while the contractors who completed the work were also very professional and completed the job on schedule - the fence still looks as good as new today (2018). read more

I hate to write a bad review but.. This was the absolute worst Lowe's experience I have ever had. It was a new store to us, we weren't quite sure of the layout. So, we asked for help to find all thread rod. The associate informed us that they don't carry such an item. We proceeded to try and better describe the item. However, the associate was firm in her position. We let her know that they did carry it as we have purchased from another location. We ended up walking away as we felt we were better off looking ourselves versus standing there debating and arguing with this person. Please if you work with the public and don't know the answer, just say so. To this associate's credit, the answer was found. The associate found us and took us to the right location. Second issue of the trip was yet another associate. My husband was looking for a hacksaw blade. We were in the general area so we thought we would try again. There were 3 associates chatting in the aisle. We asked where the blades were. One associate looked at us as though we spoke a foreign language. The second associate looked up answered, "Yeah, they are right there on the left.". We proceeded to walk around this gathering of associates who were too into their conversation to move out of our way. Nope, no hacksaw blade in sight. As we stood there looking at where we were directed and finding nothing, the group continued to chat and completely could care less. By this time we were ready to get out of the store before it got any worse. So, my husband went on the hunt again for himself. He eventually found what he was looking for. At check out, it didn't get any better. The associate was friendly enough. However, when he was ringing up the dirty pieces of rebar (rebar is less face it....dirty) he didn't want to get his hands dirty. I get that. He pulled out paper towels to grab the rebar. My husband asked him to put it in a bag. The associate proceeded to inform us that the bags won't hold the rebar as they are too heavy. We informed him we knew that but we wanted the dirty rebar covered so as not to get said dirt on the inside of our vehicle. As my husband and I discussed how best to put the long piece in the car without getting the dust and dirt everywhere (this is a 10' piece of rebar), we noticed a tie down station not more than 10' away in plain site. The associate never offered the use of the materials or even that we could help ourselves. Once the transaction was complete, we didn't exist. So, I headed over to the said station to grab some plastic sheeting to lay on the interior of our vehicle. There was an associate standing there. As I approached and started to ask if I could get some, he turned away and then walked away. I proceeded to cut off a piece and went on my way. We were completely and utterly disgusted my the genuine lack of customer service at this location that we will never go back. What a shame! read more

Worst customer service I've ever gotten at any Lowe's, ever, hands down! Tried to buy carpet from them, took 4 days for someone to come out and measure, then another 4 days to hear something back. Finally they called and told us they had lost all our information about carpet choice. We decided to go in and talk to them and the guy in that department was so rude we left. He called us about 15 minutes later, after we'd gone to home depot. Hubs told him that he would be in the next day to talk to the manager and the guy laughed, actually laughter and told my hubs exactly what time he'd be at work. We were in shock! Spend the extra time and drive to another Lowe's, if you absolutely have to shop at Lowe's, better yet go to Home Depot! read more

I had a Pergo floor installed by this Lowes. It crackles when you walk on it, being worse in the summer. Had an inspection by Pergo and they concluded it was installation. The installers say nothing is wrong so no one is willing to fix the problem. Lowes claims they don't know what to do so too bad. read more

I LOVE Lowe's - Beats Home Depot every time - Plus WIFI

I was looking for a grill on the the app. I found one and decided to call the store to see how long it would take before I can pick it up if I purchased it that day. They told me that would likely be a few days because they were backed up with orders. After the associate told me there was about 40+ of that model I was looking to buy in stock, I thought I would just go that day and pick it up myself. Once I got arrived, I wasn't able to find that particular model, either On Display or in stock. I wondered around for about 20 mins, and not a single associate had stopped and asked if I needed any help. I ended up just walking out, and finally an associate was near me, still hadn't asked if I need anything. I said loud enough to hear, that I would take my money to Home Depot and purchase the item needed there. Honestly, this isn't the first time something like this had happened at Lowe's. This will be the last time that I will step into a Lowe's, unless if I'm in an absolute pinch. Customer service is plummeting. read more

Tried to purchase 2 kitchen cabinets. This is the ABSOLUTE worst store and people to deal with. Kept calling and leaving messages with no return calls. Cabinets sent to home had missing parts and parts that were not for those cabinets. Ended up having to get the Corporation Office involved to get any response from the store. The store manager never returned one call. The cabinet department manager changed and we were shuffled off to other people. My advice, DO NOT PURCHASE CABINETS FROM LOWES. You will spend months (like us) with an experience from HELL. These people are terrible at their jobs. No wonder Lowes sales and forecasts are down. read more

My journey has become the most disappointing experience with Lowe's of Green. I typically don't review on company's mainly I feel doing the right thing should be an industry standard, however this has been beyond ridiculous.. It took me 4 trips to Lowe's to just to be able to get someone to take my order for a solid surface vanity top for my spare bathroom. Once the order was taken, a few weeks had past, I received a call for the install. I took off work to be home to find out when the installers had arrive to pick up the counter top from the store that it wasn't there, only the fixtures. I had to reschedule and take another day off work. When the counter actually arrived to the store only to find out that it damaged. A new counter top had to be ordered after another day of work lost. Another 5 weeks will pass. On a side note, there was a huge mirror above the vanity that needed to be removed for the installation (it was framed and glued to the wall covering the existing backsplash). This was part of the additional installation cost. While I waiting I had the bathroom painted, the painters removed the mirror and backsplash to ensure the paint completely covered the area. Three months later, I received my counter top. Lowe's installers had promised to refund a portion of the money that they had charged because they did not remove the mirror. After completing the project I find out they claimed they would have removed the mirror for free apparently! The installers are claiming there was no fees occurred for that to be refunded. (if you need some work done for free, I would contact Logan and Cory). They also told Lowe's they removed the back splash, (there wasn't any backsplash) . I wonder how the painters feel about that? I paid twice to have the backsplash removed. Justin at Lowe's basically told me that I was lying. I wanted this to be a great experience, I was proud that I was able to do something nice, and that my home was disrespected with dishonest and poor customer service. read more
