Spring is a busy time of year, Lowe's should know that by now. On our last two trips about a month apart, this place gets a ZERO. They had one kid on the lot loading soil and mulch in the drive through. The poor kid threw bag after bag of the stuff in one vehicle after another. Old ladies really like mulch. After seeing him load over a hundred bags it was our turn. We had purchased 15 bags. We asked where his help was and he said that was a good question. He was working alone and no one would help him. Poor kid was probably making $10/hr. We gave the kid a tip, which he probably wasn't supposed to take. Five bucks isn't going to go far toward back surgery. This store couldn't give a rat's behind about that kid and whether he hurts himself doing the work of several men for peanuts. I called the store and spoke to a manager. There were other problems, but this one was appalling. I'll shop somewhere that staffs the store. read more

I am writing this review to warn anyone who is interested in a small kitchen remodel. DO NOT USE LOWE'S INSTALLED SALES. My husband and I ordered new countertops and a new sink. What should have been a simple install, turned into a 4-day nightmare. I should start by saying that it took over a month to get on the schedule for the countertop contractor, when we were quoted two weeks. Once the countertops and sink were installed, the plumber installer came out the next day for the reconnect. He informed us (and we confirmed with other professionals) that the sink was not installed up to code. Instead of the industry standard sink brackets, my under mounted stainless steel sink is being held up by glue and pieces of laminate wood flooring that are screwed into my cabinets! The plumber refused to do the job due to the inappropriate install of the sink, and the inability to reattach the garbage disposal that would now be hung too low. (This also should have been caught during the measurements) After multiple complaints to customer service and the stores sales rep, my sink is still not installed properly. Consequently, my 60-year-old father had to crawl under my sink and hook up the pipes so that we could have running water. All Lowe's offered me was a refund. What good does a refund do when you have no running water in your kitchen, and no one to complete the job? I am so disappointed with the service we have received. If you are a small low-profit job, Lowe's will not value your project, and will not provide quality contractors or service. Please save yourself the stress and anxiety of dealing with them, and go with the specialty store. read more

I love shopping at Lowe's! The Assistant Manager, Landon, is always helpful. We are often in a hurry when we come in and he has helped us several times this year by getting us the info and items we need to finish our projects. He is truly an asset to Lowe's and I tell everyone to shop here and see him for help. He is a man of his word and always has done what he says he will do.
