I went into this Lowes to Find the Bag of Pinion wood advertised and I had to walk all over the store because I was told to look in 3 different spots by 3 different people. They just told me where to go nobody actually cared if I found it because it was like yea just go this spot. I was fed up and in the store for about 20 min with no luck. I said I would try one more person and Then I would leave. Luclily for me I found Drew, who walked me from the front of the store all the way to the garden section where I was previously and he had said he saw them there . He walked up and down the aisles w me looking up at the stock and he could not find them. He then asked someone else who let him know where it was moved to and then he still walked me back to the outside front of the store from the back of the Garden Dept. We finally found it!!! People like Drew are a Rarity and so hard to find. I sure hope yo take care of this man, because he is one of a few left, who actually cares about people who come in to his location !! Spent a lot of money at this lowes over the past year. went to exchange 1 bag of shingles all accounted for and the assistant manager kenny or Kenneth tells me that they cant exchange/refund 1 bag of unused shingles because the package is opened. Well I had to open them to realize I got the wrong one's that were obviously under the wrong picture on the shelf, but then he goes to say its a store policy that there store started a year and a half ago, when ask to see the store policy he could not produce it, and simply said im telling you its this store policy. I brought back a bundle of shingles and a box of roofing nails. I had the receipt for both items but they would not take back the shingles. First they sail I had the wrong code so I showed them the receipt again. I asked to talk to the manager. When Daniel showed up he they did not sell that so I left but returned to find that exact shingle on the shelf. Daniel is either a liar or an incompetent manager or maybe just both. Ok walking away and thinking more about what happened one star may be generous. Last night I came in with a can of paint that they mixed for me and needed to get more. I brought the empty can with me. Stood around for about ten minutes before someone called an associate to help me. He wasn't rude he just acted like I was an inconvenience. Mixed the paint and dropped it on the counter. I looked and it seemed a bit greener than the color I brought in. Thought maybe it's just not dry. Took it home and it still looked really green, the color I got has hints of green so I figured let me see. Nope very green and not the right color. Took it back and the assistant manger looked at it and said yep that's not the same color but our color match is down so I can try to make the same color for you but you'll have to pay. We went back and forth one of the venders stopped him on the way back to paint he dismissed me and told me to wait by paint for him. Come to find out that there are two colors with the same name one green and one more blue. It was easy to see on the screen which one was my paint. Still at this point he wasn't willing to admit his guy had made a mistake. They did exchange the paint finally but their extreme lack of customer service is insane. I'm not sure when it became the norm to make the customer feel like they made the mistake but I'm not impressed. It has nothing to do with paint match it's a color in your system if you are not sure ask someone even let the customer know. I've been loyal to Lowe's for a while but maybe it's time to go someplace else if they don't value their customers. read more

When I check in for curbside pickup and it doesn't exist, my time is wasted. I could have purchased in the store and had them place the items in my car because that's what happened. I had to go inside after calling with no answer. They printed a receipt to take to the department so I could get the items. They didn't even know how to pack them in my trunk. I had to supervise. The manager at this location needs to retrain every associate who gets the merchandise for customer pick up! It's suppose to be convenient and easy. It was NOT here! Online, I ordered 2 packs of lightbulbs and 2 cabinet pulls (an a couple other items). I got an email AND a call that one of the lightbulbs was out of stock. (Hmm, Welp the site showed plenty!) I proceed to the store for my pick up the next day. I get my order from the locker (which was easy) but go check on the light bulbs. Low an behold, they are there (just behind some others). Then, I had to go to customer service and find out where the cabinet pulls were since my order wasn't fulfilled correctly :/They were there too! The only thing that saved this visit was the friendly checkout ladies At the customer service desk. I will have to go back as the location is easily located to my business. The WORST WORST WORST business let alone worst Lowes ever. Had always preferred Lowes over Home Depot. But if this is my closest option I will go to HD!!! Customer service should all be fired! Came in yesterday to make a return one lady was on the phone another lady was helping someone. After she finished she literally walked away from her register with myself and another guest at the register. I brought in a dead tree that I purchased 4 months ago. Trees have a 1 year return policy. They scanned my receipt, and it came up in their system as a plant, which has a 90 day return policy. Why would I ever trust my business to Lowe's again? I went in last week and tried to purchase the 12 foot animatronic scarecrow. I was told the floor model was the last one in DFW and that I couldn't pick it up until this weekend. I happily paid just shy of $500 with tax and warranty. I showed up today with receipt in hand to pick it up and even though I was told it wouldn't be available until today somehow a product I had already paid for had been sold to someone else and was no longer there. There are no more available anywhere apparently. I got the good old I'm really sorry but there is nothing we can do. This little girl helped my wife and I find a mirror that we found online. The C/S rep wouldn't help us because he was "too busy". We went to pit to locate some and found Karla. This young lady not only helped us with paint but she walked all the way across the building and found the mirror we needed. She persevered until we were happy. I wish I had checked Facebook and other review sites before we tried to buy a new clothes washer and dryer set from Lowe's. This company is *totally* FUBAR!! Unfortunately, we ordered a new clothes washer and dryer set from the Lowe's in Keller, TX last Thursday. The Friday evening before our washer/dryer were supposed to be delivered, I received a phone call from a computer telling me our items would be delivered between 4 pm and 8 pm on Saturday. At 8:26 am Saturday morning, I got a call from the Lowe's (third party) delivery team saying they were, "on their way to our house." When they arrived, I was told that they had the dryer, but not the washer. Side note: our old clothes washer is inoperative. Our old dryer works perfectly: we just wanted a matching set. After wasting nearly an entire day trying to get our new clothes washer delivered, I finally gave up and told the Southlake, TX store manager to cancel my entire order. She was apathetic, and actually seemed happy to cancel our $1372 order, rather than try to fix the problem. Especially, it seemed, since she had "done everything she could possibly do." With one phone call, she could have had our new washer delivered in less than 2 hours from a nearby store (which I identified with 3 phone calls). Instead, all she wanted to do was lecture me about computer glitches, company policy, and their "third party" delivery company. In other words, CYA! At which she is very good! After more than five years, it might be time for the Lowe's board to consider a new CEO. Clearly, Marvin Ellison either doesn't care or isn't paying attention. Home Depot will be delivering and installing the same brand/model/price washer and dryer set within the next few days. I will never again step foot in a Lowe's store. read more

Bought a washer and dryer for delivery and install. Supposed to happen today (6/15/21) between 9:30am and 1:30pm. After numerous calls once 2:30 rolled around, was told 6:00-6:30pm. It's 6:45pm and still no delivery. Lowe's clearly has zero control with their 3rd party delivery contractors. Absolutely the worse and will not buy anything that requires delivery from them again. A Lowe's is a Lowe's. I almost always enjoy my visit. Jon's been working on the house, and sometimes I go with him to pick out paint colors or whatever. Really I just enjoy browsing through the seasonal section (all things fall and Halloween are here). My other favorite thing to do is browse the magazines at the front. Lowe's has the best food magazine ever with the best pictures! I always want to buy one but they're too expensive... The staff here is friendly but sometimes it's hard to find someone to help you. You might be waiting for awhile if you don't go look for help yourself! But the employees are nice and helpful. Recently bought a bunch of wood for decking, new light fixtures, a few different colors of paint and brushes and rollers, goodies for our pond, and a couple snacks and drinks to go. I always feel good about the prices at Lowe's and my visits are never unsuccessful. Plus the garden department always has something I MUST buy. Makes me happy. read more

I was in the Millwork Dept looking for a closet door & Felix was paged 3 times over the speaker to help but never came. I parked in the marked section..go in to where they do mobile orders and returns...wait...wait some more..the lady says to me..."I'm still trying to get lumbar to bring the order before yours"...so I wait..she says no one is answering in lumbar..I'll go pull it myself...so I wait.now I have been in the store for 20 min. I am then told by a sales lady to pull my car around to lumber they will have a paper for me to sign and load me up. So I get the car and move it to lumber, I go inside..one cashier and a line like its black Friday ( whomp whomp whomp) I get in line wait...wait more...and finally someone approaches..only to not know where these mystical papers are for me to sign...so the poor guy decides to just load my car up first. He and the other loader were super!!!! I then go back in...and finally someone who can print the invoice!!! I picked up my mobile order and was on my way within an hour and 10 minutes. I think Lowes needs to not be trendy..if you can't deliver the service, then don't try too. I was so disappointed in the way my father was treated yesterday. He asked if he could use his military discount and was told unless he registered it with their store, no. We said Home Depot honors his Veterans card at the register ?? it is from the VAs office. He has a military card with photo ID. The older veterans who fought for our country shouldn't have to go through much to be acknowledged when they have their Credentials. I went to Lowe's this evening and was very disgusted for several reasons. They use to ccarrya number of brands in light bulbs and ceilin fans. Now they only carry GE bulbs all made in China and Harbor Breeze ceilin fans also made in China. I needed both, but refuse to buy anything and everythin made in China. I went on to find other items. Found drop cloth made in USA, spackle made in USA and trash bags made in USA. The other items I needed were all China made and stayed on the shelf. I proceeded to check out only to find self check open while other employee were just standing around. I asked if there were any cashiers, I was told to go to garden center or lumber. I went to garden center and they were closed, on the way back I told the young girl at self check garde center is close, she shrugged and said oh well. I went to lumber paid and walked back to the exit and found the same young lady had opene a register for othe customer. From the looks of it I was not WHITE enough for her to open the register. This is the 3rd time this has happene at this Lowe's, 1 time it was by a manager. No point in complaining to management. After spending so much $$ annually at Lowe's I am now giving my business to the other guys. Lowe's doesn't care about customer service and they don't care about providing their customers with quality products. Depending on which stores you go to your experiences with them will vary. For instance Some stores will have a ton of a product and you'll need help trying to find the certain type and when you look for someone to Help you, theres no one to be found....Then there are other stores that go above and beyond to help you with anything you need and or looking for. Overall The stores are usually clean, organized and with items labeled/priced correctly. When there IS someone there to help you, the associates are very nice and knowledgeable about anything in their dept. I've been in enough of Lowes stores to know how they operate. Oh almost forgot to mention I used to work at the eastchase location when I was in college too and that store at the time was a good store and most of the employees were cool to work with and knew the store inside and out and gave excellent customer service. Talked to manager. Asked her to confirm it was the right grill, that it was assembled, and the right fuel type. She said she was looking at the box and it was the right grill and fuel and 'the girls are assembling it now'. Seemed quite put out that I asked. 15:03 Delivery (Mr Rick Wilson is fabulous and the only bright spot in this ordeal!) delivered the grill in a small Lowe's pickup. Helped them unload it. Wrong fuel type. They delivered an LP grill not a natural gas one. He said he would call the manager, get them to call me and bring back the correct grill today. Heard nothing. Called corporate twice to see what they could do to fix situation and offer some compensation. On hold for over 30 minutes before being offered 10% off next purchase. Declined and asked to escalate it to their next level. Was told I'd receive a call. Mr. Wilson called at 17:17 said he'd be delivering it soon. He actually got off at 18:00 and was staying to make it right. 18:19 Got a call from automated system saying that my item had been rescheduled for delivery Monday between 09:00 and 13:00. Called store, they explained it was a robocall and an error, said my grill was being built. They found it up top on a shelf behind something. 20:02 Called and said grill was being delivered. Store PM manager spoke to me several times about "appeasement" and desperate to avoid fulfilling my repeated request that I hear from the GM for the store or area. I emphatically stated I had refused the offer from corporate and her attempts to placate me and needed to talk to the GM. Mr. Wilson brought grill, needed me to help unload it. Gave me a bucket of items the store manager sent to try and make things right in another attempt to avoid it going to the GM or the GM knowing about the mistakes. 3-29-2021 08:54 received a call (voicemail)saying my item was 'a warehouse item and was not in stock. Mind you can already (finally) have the item. As of 10:20 no call from Lowe's to discuss issue. read more

I ordered and paid for a faucet. 2 days before the delivery day they inform me that it will be another week. 10 days go by and I call and get transferred 4 times and then they hang up. I wait another week and go to the store and the tell me the faucet still isn't there and they can't tell me when it will arrive. I cancel and get a refund. I then go on Amazon and get the same faucet in 3 days. This is why brick and mortar stores are going to be a thing of the past. Ill never shop at Lowes again. read more

Appliance man spent so much time with us. He answered every question we had about our dryer and stovetop. So this review does not reflect on him. It reflects on the employees who loaded said appliances onto our truck. As they walked to the truck, I could sense their sullenness. After loading them, we asked if they were secure. They laughed and said they needed to be secured. So did they tie them down? No, they just walked away and pointed at an empty rope station. We had to get another employee to find us some rope, which he did. Our kitchen was going to be remolded and now we are seriously reconsidering using their services. For the fifth or sixth time, I've made an online order for pickup and had it canceled. This is getting really old. Fix your inventory or ship the item at no charge. It's still available online. When I call and speak with a manager to order it and ship it to the store where it was to be picked up, I'm told they can't. If I can order and pay to have it shipped to my home, you can do the same or ship to the store. These consistent I'm Sorry apologies do nothing. Customers waste time finding and ordering items, only to be told it's not available. Lowe's is becoming one of the worst stores to shop with! At the suggestion of the store that canceled, I reordered the items from another store that showed availability. I told her their count was probably off too and that she should secure the items and get them to me if she had faith in the availability. Of course, she said she couldn't. I got canceled again, except they didn't even have the courage to contact me this time. I suppose they know how much they suck by now so they're embarrassed. I'll admit I'm writing while extremely frustrated with the Appliance Department here. They delivered our new fridge yesterday (3/9/17) but did not switch the handle over to match our old one, so it opens the wrong way. I called the driver 5 minutes after they left and asked them to fix it. He said, "OK, we'll turn around." They did not come back. An hour later, no answer from the driver's phone. I finally caught up with them and asked how long before they would return. "45 minutes." Then nothing. I called the Appliance Department at the store and talked to Tommy. He gave me an estimate of THREE DAYS to return and fix it. Pathetic! I had a higher opinion of Lowe's than this-until now. My advice is keep an eagle eye on anything they deliver, because once they have your money, you are are at the back of line. read more
