    Pet friendly at Lowes!

I love Lowes over Home Depot, its just my personal preference. Easy to get in and easy get out. Great location and friendly employees. Not sure where the negative reviews come from but I've been coming here for years with no issues whatsoever. Lost your receipt, no problem! They will give you store credit. If you have pets, they are welcome here as well!

Today at Lowe's was awesome. The employees I came in contact with had GREAT, CHEERFUL ATTITUDES! They were extremely helpful. 2 Different men named Mike in Hardware, DJ in the Garden Center - she was very knowledgeable & helpful. & Clyde Gulloime. Helped me load the car with a great attitude, patient & thoughtful, & didn't crush my plants!!! The young ladies that checked me out were helpful & patient. This was a rare an exceptional experience as it as been harder to find employees since Covod 19. I will definitely be back! Thank you to ALL of you!

I've been to this Lowe's a few times. It's not my favorite, but it has a good inventory. The people here have always been friendly.

My husband and I have really enjoyed getting to know the folks at Barnes hardware store. We just bought a house this past summer about 7 minutes from this store, and have had so many great experiences. Our first encounter here, we knew that we needed a lawn mower. Desperately. Our home sits on a half acre lot, and we were starting to look like those neighbors that you really wish had NOT moved in. We finally had enough cash reserves after dumping nearly all we had into down payments. We knew that if we got a push mower, it would take a full day of "family togetherness" for us to accomplish the task of mowing our lawn. We decided to check out Barnes, since it looked like a nice little place right off of Veterans Memorial. We received warm greetings right upon entering the store. We made our inquiries on riding mowers, and sure enough- they had a nice one that had recently been traded in and fixed up by their mechanics. Steve, who owns the store with his sweet wife, was not on location that day, and so his wife got him on the phone for us so that we could get the specs on the mower, and work out a reasonable price. In the end, we ended up getting a great little mower that has a cart that can be attached for half the price of a new one. Talk about being fortunate! (PS- I can't wait until this summer. I fully intend on rocking out to P!ink's "Rock Star" while mowing). As is the case with many smaller stores- They don't have everything. But you know what? I don't care. Sure- we cheat on them every once and a while by going to the big box hardware stores, but not until we've assured that they don't have exactly what we're looking for. Time and again this little hardware store has proven that they will take the time to help us. None of this "push the button and we'll have a store associate with you in a few minutes" stuff. One additional note- They're very competitive price wise with larger home improvement/hardware stores. I was very impressed with their seed prices (they buy in bulk locally) when we dropped in this past week.

Never having to swap/return anything from Barnes before this was my 1st time. I was asked to leave the boots also left proof of purchase and contact info and he would have Thorogood rep look at them. After 4-5 weeks I had to contact the store only to be told to pickup the boots they would not exchange them. I respectfully expressed my displeasure and now have these boots on a shelf in my garage to remind me and anyone else why I don 't do purchase nor recommend Barnes HW anymore.

To Whom It May Concern,…read more I want to tell you about an experience my friend Greg and I had at the Powder Springs Home Depot rental department that was one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I have ever encountered. Around 4:30 PM, Greg rented a sewer auger to clear a clogged sewer line. Shortly after starting the job, he discovered that the reverse switch on the machine did not work so he called me to come over and help him. By that point, approximately 150 feet of cable had already been fed out of the machine and was stretched across the yard. Because with no tension on the cable the machine would go down the sewer line and not recoil the cable, it was impossible to transport it back to the store to get another machine. We drove to the Powder Springs Home Depot to explain the situation and ask for assistance. We spoke with the manager on duty, Kale. We explained that the machine had been rented to us in non-working condition and asked why equipment that wasn't functioning properly was available for rental. He had no answer. We requested another machine. When asked where the original machine was, we explained that it was still in the yard with 150 feet of cable extended and covered in sewage residue, making it impractical to move. I asked Kale if he would put a machine in that condition into his own vehicle and transport it back to the store. Rather than offering a solution, he told us we would have to pay for another rental and then walked away. At no point did he attempt to help resolve the situation. We took a second machine home, only to discover that the tip configuration would not allow us to navigate a bend in the pipe. We returned to the store and explained that the tip could not be removed. The rental shop employee Nathan worked extremely hard trying to remove it, but even he could not get it off. We then looked at another machine that was sitting in the rental bay and available for rent. That machine did not work either. Finally, we pulled out the last available machine and insisted that it be tested before we left the store. It would not operate properly and required a new pressure switch before it could be used. After three trips to the store and dealing with multiple defective machines, we finally got a working unit. Once we had equipment that actually worked, the sewer line was cleared in about 20 minutes. What should have been a simple rental turned into over three hours of wasted time, multiple trips, unnecessary fuel expenses, and a tremendous amount of frustration. The most disappointing part was the complete lack of effort from the manager on duty to help resolve the problem. A manager's job is to find solutions for customers when problems arise, and that simply did not happen. I am requesting the following: * A full refund of Greg's rental charges. * A $50 Home Depot gift card to compensate for my time, fuel, and inconvenience caused by making three trips to the store and dealing with multiple defective machines. Another issue that bothered me was that Greg rented the equipment using his Discover card. Home Depot had his information on file and could have worked with us to get a replacement machine without creating unnecessary obstacles. Instead, no effort was made to explore options or assist us. My final question is simple: Why were there five sewer machines available for rent when only two of them actually worked? I would appreciate a response regarding this matter and hope steps are taken to ensure rental equipment is properly inspected and maintained before being rented to customers. Edit to respond to the comment below. Your link takes me the website and is useless, Home Depot is a joke and reviews have been left on every social media platform.

I didn't really know what to expect but once I walked in, it looked like a Five Below-ish vibe but more mature. The big difference? The prices. There were some really good deals and some items that were a bittt overpriced, not crazy good deals on that end. But there were some particular items that really stood out pricewise and in terms of trend and quality. When I first walked in my eyes immediately went to the pens that were color-coded - so cute! It wasn't even the pens, but the bright way they were displayed and it didn't hurt that they were so many varieties and some classics in there like Pilot pens and gel pens. The clothes they had were so adorable but I wish they were cheaper to make me feel good about spending on more stuff I don't need, lol. Their "Go Sports" pieces were sooo me. They also had a bunch of holiday items up, party goods, cleaning items, so many things that I didn't expect. Cute store!

Interior / Exterior They're located in the parking lot with Target, so finding a convenient parking space can be a bit of a challenge. I went early, so the store was super clean and organized. My neighbors mentioned that it can get disorganized later in the day. Price / Value Everything seems to be mid to excellent quality, priced affordably. Customer Service The cashier was preoccupied with her phone - before, during and after the checkout process - but that seems to be the standard nowadays. Lol. Overall Overall, I like this store. I was told that it was a subsidiary of Bed, Bath & Beyond but based on my general Google reading, I think they're owned by Dollar General. Too lazy to research it though. The only thing I don't love is that every time I find something cute on the website, it's not available for pick-up at this location (or the Powder Springs, Kennesaw and Acworth locations). And shipping isn't available either. I've missed out on a great cast iron pan and some beautiful dinner plates because I didn't have time to drive over an hour to another location.
