May 31, 2026 I purchased 27 pcs of ready grass for my lawn and within 2 weeks even after watering them daily they all turned brown. I have pictures/videos. Went back to the store on June 13, 2026 and spoke to manager(Frank) explained the situation and attempt to show him the pictures/videos which he wasn't interested. All he said was i had to bring all back for a refund. I explained the location of the property and ask if Lowes be able to pick them up if I have someone remove and stack them aside. His decison was bring them back if you want a refund. My neighbor purchased 10 and he had the same issues. He got his full refund without having to bring the grass back. Crazy. We had ordered a full Kitchen Aid appliance suite. First delivery all appliances except the range were in good shape. We refused the range and waited on second delivery. Again the range was damaged. After multiple phone calls, transfers and disconnects I had emailed the CEO. He forwarded my email to the executive care team. We arranged a third delivery. It arrived this morning also dented and scratched. We refused and are cancelling our order to buy local. Don't waste your time or money on Lowe's appliances. It will be very time consuming and disappointing. Quality of delivered product will likely be a scratch and dent for the price of new. read more

I bought a new dishwasher online nearly a month ago. A week later, I was contacted by Lowe's and advised I had to go into a store, cancel my order and purchase the dishwasher in the store because there was some Allegheny County fee I had to pay. This was an inconvenience, but I did it. They scheduled an install for a week later and gave me a four hour window. I drove a half hour to the location and waited. THEN I received a call by the installer saying the box was crushed and the dishwasher damaged when Lowe's received it, but nobody at Lowe's opened the box to see the condition of the dishwasher. I called Lowe's customer service and explained the whole situation and my disappointment. The agent put me on hold five minutes and told me to call a different number to complain. I said no. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Working on a remodel project, had to make some returns due to broken items or items missing pieces. With the receipt in hand I tell the lady I just want to swap the item out (a vanity) with the exact same item because the porcelain was broken in half. What does she do, clearly not listening she credits the card it was purchased on instead. I didn't have that card on me. I told the lady now I have to go all the way back home get that card & come back again. Then basically treated me like a criminal trying to rip them off. I got the manager. He apologized and told me because of the trouble he'd give me 10% off when I came back. An hour or so of wasted time later I make it back. After explaining the 10% off thing their asst manager then treats me like I'm trying to pull a scam on them again. All because they sold me a broken item that I wanted to replace with the exact same item & receipt in hand. I've since tried another Lowe's hoping maybe it was just that store. Nope, separate issue (again) & even worse customer service. Well they may've made sure their customers aren't criminals, but in doing so & making their customer service so difficult to deal with I'll never shop at another Lowe's ever again. The employees seemed knowledgeable and the paint was mixed without error. I deducted 2 stars due to the employees not asking if I needed assistance. Apparently I ordered from the Bethel Park store although I swear this was unintentional as I thought I was just ordering from "Lowes" and not a specific store. Ed called me to explain that his store didn't have any stock. He then tried to find another model that would work. Unfortunately, we wanted to stick with the one we had ordered. Do not buy blinds from Lowe's Bethel Park. And I would seriously reconsider making any major purchases from this store given their horrible customer service. Dianne in the blinds department is completely incompetent. Despite me giving her the exact specifications for the blinds I wanted to order (down to the SKU #), she ordered the wrong blinds. But I wouldn't find that out until 2 months later (delayed because she never notified the installer that the blinds were received like she should have), after the installer hung them. For the last 40 days I have been trying to resolve the issue. I have had to initiate every interaction with the store. After involving the corporate office I finally got a manager (Cameron) to call me that said he would follow-up and never did. So when I went to the store in person, his solution was to make me pay the difference for the blinds I thought I ordered and the blinds I received (over $1,000!), and they would take an additional $200 off. If I had known the cost at the time of ordering I wouldn't even have gone through with the whole order! Absolutely zero consideration for the 3-month delay, my time spent in trying to correct their mistake, and additional time off work that I'll need to take for any future install. When I told him I just wanted my money back so I could go buy the blinds from Home Depot, he had the gall to tell me there would be a 20% restocking fee because it was a special order. The sad part is that if they had apologized for the mistake in the beginning and persisted in resolving the issue instead of jerking me around, I would have paid the difference. I would like to note though that their installation team has gone above and beyond in trying to help me, as has Courtney from the corporate office. read more

What a hot mess this Lowes is. They switched to self-checkout exclusively which is a nightmare. I asked to be checked out by a human but was pointed to the dreaded check out machines. I hit the 'help' button on the screen knowing that I shouldn't even try to check out the 75% off plants. The Lowes person was busy changing the garbage bags around the machines so I had to wait until this task was finished. She only came over when I said, 'well maybe I'll check out at the garden center since no one is here.' She started punching some buttons on the screen assuming what my issue was, wiping out my military discount. After noticing, I didn't get my 10%, she said 'there's no nothing that I can do. Go to customer service.' and then she walked away. Customer service was swamped. The store is grossly understaffed and is badly managed. The customer serv desk person had to wait for 'someone' else to come and push a button. After 15 mins of watching her sweep the floor, I walked out without my adjustment. If you start a transaction in one store that's more complicated (installation, appliances, special orders, etc) it's difficult to trade stores...and therefore I recommend you go to the Waterfront location. This location is only worthwhile for a quick stop and nothing major. Their stock is limited in almost every department and their staff is not nearly as knowledgeable. read more

This store has serious problems with their inventory. It often says it has stuff that it doesn't. Or they tell you in store they don't have an item, but you order it curbside and suddenly it's there. So I decided to get a little mulch curbside so I wouldn't waste my time going and they don't have it. It says they have over 300, but that means nothing here. I waited 30 minutes in curbside. I was thinking they are going to get it so must be why it's taking forever. No they are just doing who knows what. I call and a girl brings me out a piece of paper and I have to go get my little bit of mulch loaded. Ok, wasted a lot of time already and I'm already annoyed but oh well. I go to get the mulch, the boys loading are not waiting anywhere near the loading zone. A few minutes later are walking over literally slower than zombies. Takes them like 15 minutes to figure out they don't actually have the mulch I ordered. I ask if I can get a substitute. He says if I want that I have to go to customer service. I said I wasted enough time already I just won't get the mulch. He doesn't tell me I HAVE to go to customer service because they already said I picked up the item. I go home and find out I can't get a refund online, because it has to be processed as in store return. (This took about an hour for idiots online to tell me) Have to go back to Lowe's. Takes about three minutes. Pretty sure lady at customer service was only competent employee I met today. So wasted about 2 hrs of my life not getting mulch and ten minutes writing this crap. read more

DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES HERE. Currently having the worst experience after we purchased a washer and dryer from this Lowes. The washer was supposed to be delivered Tuesday, never called or showed up. I called them and they said they had it in as a pick up and rescheduled for Wednesday. No big deal. Wednesday comes and same thing, no call or deliver. I called again and some guy said they just fired someone and began to complain about how that is affecting him. Great customer service. He reschedule for Saturday -- mind you I have taken two days off work for this already. So it's Saturday and again, same thing! No call, no delivery. I can't even get a hold of someone in the store to cancel the order. I've gotten passed around from department to department with no answer. As another review said, DO NOT buy any major appliances from this store as you are asking for a hassle and the customer service & management at this store does not care. It's great to get some paint or plants or hardware but stay away from major purchases here. I bought a gas stove last year and the installer was missing a leg. It was a huge hassle to get the leg even ordered as no one did it for weeks. Also, I had an electric stove but the store never mentioned I need a regular 3 prong outlet there for the gas stove to still be plugged in for electronics. Makes sense now that I know but was not mentioned until installer got there and had to run an extension cord across my kitchen until got electrician out. Now this year. I gave them a chance again and bought a dryer. Sales person checked on delivery dates and said great there's an opening tomorrow or in two weeks. I took off work for the next day. They said they'd call in morning with time. 11am comes and no call. Call the delivery department in the store and was told there was no deliveries for the day as they didn't have the drivers needed.... They told me that they called people to cancel and reschedule early yesterday afternoon. Well, I bought my dryer early evening after those calls were made... Complained enough that they got it to my house that day and installed through use of a personal truck. 2 weeks later it's not drying clothes completely so decide to exchange it for a different dryer. Pick one out in store and give info to same sales person. Said no problem but manager has to process exchanges. Now after 6 weeks, 6 calls for that sales person, numerous calls to the department manager David (most times you can't even get him on the phone or he's not in that day), and couple complaint calls to corporate....I've given up and keeping this dryer so will just use timer setting and ignore others. Never again! I will buy from Don's Appliances going forward. Gave me 100 times better service with out dish washer than Lowe's even came close to. read more

They never came to install our dishwasher it's just sitting in the box in my dining room. Our fridge came with the door dented, still waiting on a replacement for that. Don't even try to get them on the phone, they will just point you in circles for hours on end. They wanna blame it on their third party delivery and installation companies. I find that for the most part both Lowe's and Home Depot are what they are. They provide a level of service that is on par with what they charge. If you want cheaper prices, it comes at a cost. The majority of reviewers on Yelp love to complain. Well here is my true complaint about Lowe's and Home Depot. Why are they permitted to be open during the Corona Virus shut downs. They are bringing large numbers of people into their stores. They are selling paint, appliances, and even have kitchen designers meeting with potential customers. However, the independent appliances stores, paint stores, kitchen and bathroom design firms are all shuttered here in PA. How is this fair and more importantly how is this safe. read more

We purchased a washing machine a month ago and it was scheduled for delivery today March 25th Since I have a very small laundry room my husband needed to remove my laundry tub for placement of washer then reconnect laundry tub. One week ago I visited the store to confirm delivery yes they told me. No problem!! Yesterday. On Saturday one day before delivery I received a call from Lowe's stating my delivery would be today ( sunday) So we removed old washer, removed laundry tub and ready for delivery This morning I received I phone call stating they were delivering my washer BUT they didn't have a new one it would be the floor model. - I told them no I wanted a new one. So they said they could bring me a loaner. What good is that ? I have no laundry tub connected ?? So we said cancel They had a month to fill this order. Within 5 minutes I contacted supposedly the manager ( later to find out it wasn't) and asked for them to find me another store that had one and we would go and pick up ourselves - and was told the order was cancelled and if I wanted to purchase an appliance to stop into their store. !!!!!!! I called corporate and put a complaint in but was told that the manager would contact within 24 hrs. So far. No Response!!!!!! I went to Home Depot purchase same washer. Same price and delivery is tomorrow and even had a knowledgeable and considerate salesperson to wait on us. I want an acknowledgement from corporate about my experience with the bethel park store. Think twice before considering purchasing anything from this store. - bethel park pa UPDATE I did not receive my full credit due on my account I contacted customer service and also manager of bethel park store. I was told this will be taken care of last month. I just received my statement for June I was never credited the $61.00 that I had due. But now received $25.00 late fee plus finance charges. We called Thursday about an online order of 40 bags of Gravel needing delivered to the house in the back yard. $70 for shipping but well worth it as the lady said they can schedule it for the following Monday morning and that they would deliver it to the back yard for us hence the steep shipping cost.. Well worth it? They also said they would call before hand to let us know the deal about the time being delivered on Monday... Wrong. Didn't call us. We called them and the Extremely RUDE woman from Bethel Park Customer Service says its coming the 23rd, they will drop it off on the front of the house no exceptions and that she can't do anything about them screwing up the order.. then hangs up on us....WTF? 300+ dollars for this service... Purchased an install of entry door & screen door. Their installer left the entry door sticking out an inch from the drywall. Also they damaged a window that was above the entry door. Went to Lowe's to buy 6 gallons of their stain, with a $10 rebate per can, so I sent 4 of them in and customer sent 2 into rebate center, they excepted the form said it was completed correctly, then eight weeks later they send us an email saying the forms were not properly filled out which was a crock !!!!!! And could not tell us what was Supposedly incorrect !!!!!!!!There rebate system is a scam !!!!!! God forbid if you ever get any thing from Lowe's that is not damaged or broke or ordered incorrectly not to mention there installers. We always preferred Lowes over Home Depot but not anymore. I will never step foot in a Lowes after my experience at this store. We needed help with fencing posts, paid ahead and then waited over an hour for someone to help us (help never came). We asked several times for someone to help us and yet no one managed to help us (As multiple workers just stood around). Absolutely horrible experience. After an hour and a half of waiting and still no help we asked for our money back and left. To make it worse when getting our money back the guy did not apologize or offer to help. NOTHING. My experiences at this store have been a bit hit or miss, but mostly hits. When I went in to order custom blinds last year, the guy who helped me was very knowledgeable, and he never treated me like an idiot for not knowing the lingo and the mechanics of these things. He patiently explained everything, asked questions to help me figure out what I needed, and even offered to let me take a bunch of the sample books home to choose a color in the room where the blinds would be. He was so incredibly attentive and helpful that I almost felt like he was hitting on me! But he wasn't -- he was just really good at his job and understood what excellent customer service is all about. I'm sorry I don't remember his name, or I would tell you so you could ask for him. Now, of course, I've also interacted with one or two employees who were sulky and not helpful, but every workplace has a few of those. I've encountered great people in the paint and cabinet sections as well, so overall this store has been a great resource for me. read more
