This review is not really aimed at this specific store but more of a Lowe's policy. I just finished building a new house and hired a contractor to buy some items for an installation . The parts I had left I attempted to return to the store . But since the items were not on my Pro card and I didn't have a receipt they refused to give me even store credit . I appealed to two different "managers" and all said it's a Lowe's policy and they Can't even give me store credit . Store credit is all I expected and as a Customer that has spent a lot here in the last few months and when this has happened to Me at Home Depot they give me store credit . It's a poor policy and should be reviewed. I over buy on everything so I don't have to come back for one little thing and slow down the job. Then at the end of the job I return the leftover items. Which is a time saver on the job and a practice I will continue. I'll just be doing it at Home Depot from now on. Also I got all my appliances here and it took not one or two but three lg dryers before I got one that wasn't dented. Save yourself the trouble and buy elsewhere read more

DO NOT PURCHASE APPLIANCES AT LOWES!!! I purchased a Freezer online which came from a warehouse in the Atlanta Area. I selected the Carrollton store for review because they were the ones who called me about the delivery. The freezer was delivered 7/28/2024. I called Lowes on 8/2/24 because the freezer was not freezing and everything was thawing out. I was told that they could do nothing because it had been over 48 hours and their police was no returns after 48 hours on appliances. They gave me the number for Whirlpool. I called Whirlpool and they said they didn't replace warranty was parts and labor only. They sent a repair person and the Compressor had leaked all the fluid out and was not working properly, They say the part is backordered. I will be reviewing Whirlpool also. There customer service is so bad that they hang up on you and tell you to use google when you ask what to do if a new appliance breaks .

I was looking for a particularly difficult to find replacement part. I went in to see if Lowe's even stocked it. I stood in "line" (behind being one customer at a two window customer NON service counter. At least 7 employees were behind the counter, three of which were helping the one customer ahead of me. At no point did anyone even speak a word like "I'll be right with you." As a matter of fact 4 employees turned to look at me and then ignored me. Well, I went to look for myself, even though I had no clue where to even look. I finally came back to the customer NON service counter to stand in line behind one different customer. This time, the same 4 employees looked at me and STILL ignored me. I finally got the information I needed across the street...at Home Depot! read more

Customer service is terrible, management is awful, don't expect anything different when you call the corporate office. Good luck trying to contact a district manager. Expect long hold times or just dont call. Spoke to manager (Linda) she was very rude and just wanted to get us off the phone after being transferred 3 times,hung up on once, and on hold for 1hr 9 min. I had just purchased a new washer and dryer the mangers seen we were having trouble loading the truck because the tail gate latch was broken and would not come down so they was nice enough to lend us there truck free of charge to get the washer and dryers out to our house immediately. I wish I could list the names of the folks I know one of the main ones was a older lady might have been the store manager. Highly recommend these folks. read more

I just cancelled my order at Lowes. I ordered a grill and chose the free assembly. It was listed as being ready the next day. I made all my plans accordingly. It was not completed as promised. I called the next day late in the afternoon to give Lowes plenty of time to complete my order and it still wasn't ready. I wouldn't have minded waiting on my order if I had been given a reasonable pick-up date, but I will not do business with a company that conveniently lies to their customers and has such little regard for my time and schedule. I will not be shopping at Lowes any time in the foreseeable future, that is until I think that the company has had a complete change of management locally and corporate-wise. I will also be telling all of my friends and family and encouraging them to shop elsewhere. Deceit is not an acceptable retail practice in my opinion and since it is my money, my opinion is the one that matters. read more

Here's the problem with Lowe's in Carrollton. I went in this morning to buy some lumber. There must have been an employee convention going on because I couldn't turn a corner without bumping into an employee. ..Lots and lots of managers from somewhere else. Unfortunately, when it came time to load the lumber on my cart, there wasn't an employee to be found. I had earlier looked around for carts and, since there were none on the floor I asked an employee at the pro desk where I could get a cart. He said they were all out in the parking lot. I went to the Carrollton GA Lowe's today to get some tile that was on clearance after I had called the day before to have them hold it for me. Told them I would be price matching the the other 5 locations that I had already been to. I drove 2+ hours with them knowing I was going to be price matching, they said talk to a manager. I talked to a few people but they all said I had to talk to the store manager Lynda. So I did and still, after 2 hours of back and fourth, she still would not price match. She said "I can't follow the poor choices that the other Lowe's made". Don't get me wrong, I know it's up to the store. But it was the last of the stock and I wanted to take it all off their hands. She said "I'm already losing money with it being this low of a price". It's a non stock clearance item. She wouldn't budge. She was very disrespectful and talked over me, wouldn't listen to what I had to say. I had the other receipts in my hand as proof. Other stores offered me less to take it off their hands, she just wants the money. I even called corporate and they agreed to price match to my receipts and then they back tracked. We shop at Lowe's because they are extremely helpful and always nice and a majority of the time have AMAZING customer service. This Lowe's, ran by Lynda, is the complete opposite. I have never ran into someone with that attitude towards a customer. Even Lowe's corporate said they don't price match their own stores. How is that possible when 5 other locations price matched and one even price matched over the phone with just having a picture of the receipt? Oh, and this Lowe's has no sign or piece of paper showing their price match policy. I'll never step foot in that Lowe's again. After reading the reviews, I realized this isn't the first time Lynda and her Lowe's has treated other customers terribly. But the floor guy there was awesome, even found the tile for me and said he would hold it. I walked out of there empty handed based on the customer service, not because Lynda wouldn't price match. I'm not gonna spend my money at a store where the customer service is nonexistent. I'll pay asking price where customer service deserves 10 stars. This Lowe's is a -2 stars. read more

I have just recently purchased some material for my porch. I needed 2 screen doors and had to order the ones I wanted. There was a mix-up at pickup, but Lowe's made it right by allowing one of their employees deliver the door that was left at the store. Now the construction was not interrupted.
