I have had to go to this Lowe's store twice recently. We bought faux wood blinds for the windows, a shade for a patio and a storm door. We also looked at wallpaper patterns. The experience was very good. The team helped us all the way. I had been online so I knew what I wanted. They set up an appointment for a person to come out and measure, we were able to have them put in the detailed request for each item, they called to confirm everything first, then pay online using a link. Extremely Disappointing Appliance Delivery Experience I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Lowe's. I ordered a washer, and four delivery attempts have resulted in damaged appliances. Each time, the appliance arrived damaged, and I still have not received a washer in acceptable condition. What is even more frustrating is that I have been trying to get my money refunded, but Lowe's has not been able to resolve the refund issue. After spending this much time dealing with repeated deliveries, damaged appliances, phone calls, and trying to get my money back, this has been incredibly stressful and frustrating. I expected much better customer service from Lowe's. I would seriously think twice before ordering a major appliance from them, especially when delivery and customer service are involved. Then years later they reviewed my credit and even though I've never been late and never missed a payment they decided to cut my credit limit in half. When I called to find out why. We placed an order for delivery, but only half of it was dropped off. When we asked the driver about the rest, he had no explanation. We contacted the store (after a very long wait on hold) and were told that another delivery was scheduled for the remaining items. However, the truck did not arrive on the scheduled date. We called again and were given a new delivery date, but this process has repeated three times--and we still have not received our full order. So, I came in for a few things since I was in the area. First off, there are employees everywhere standing around talking to each other or walking aimlessly through the aisles. So, I was surprised when it came to check out, they did not have even ONE cash register open. Nope, they expected me to WORK FOR THEM while all their employees are milling around. No joke, I must have seen at least 12 employees standing different places, but not one single person was on a cash register. So, I walked up to one of the stationary employees chatting with her coworker and asked if there were any cash registers open ANYWHERE. She said, no, at this time of day they didn't have any registers open. WHAT ??? Are you NOT OPEN RIGHT NOW ??? Yes, they were. It was like 1pm on a weekday. She pointed at the self-check out line. Well, as previously stated, I don't work there. So, I told her no I don't use those. She offered to stand in line with me and check me out. So, now I get a free companion for the next 10 min. to stand with me awkwardly ? No, thank you. I told her I wasn't interested and left. While I waited in line for almost 10 minutes, the phones never stopped ringing and no one answered any of the calls. Even though I've had many wretched experiences with Sarah over the past two years, I always try to be friendly, so when it was my turn for service I said, "wow, you're busy today." Sarah gave me a harumph and a smirk and said, "It's you. You're why I'm busy, uh huh, it's you." Before our transaction concluded she unleashed hostility while smiling, rudeness while expressing gratitude for "an ever-present source of assurance." She lied. She manipulated. She was a bully. I can tolerate rudeness. But it was frightening to witness the joy she took from being cruel & hateful. This Lowe's location in SouthEnd, is very nice! The store is clean and always has what I'm looking for. They have a vast variety of items to help you make the best selection. It is a single store on the plot of land, so the parking lot is solely for Lowe's. Therefore, parking is not an issue. The staff presence in the store is never lacking and they always asks if you need assistance with anything. This is one the Lowe's stores that I prefer to use. read more

The worst Customer Service experience of my life. Yesterday, my brother and I went to Lowe's in Concord, NC to pick up some items we needed for a home project. After shopping, we headed to the self-checkout counter. When I was ready to pay, a Hispanic woman approached us and offered me a store credit card and said that I would receive a 20% discount off today's purchase. I mentioned that I should open the card on my next visit because I am planning on making a larger purchase. She said, "Get the card today, and I'll give you the receipt so you can get the 20% discount on your big purchase the next time you come in." I mentioned, "I don't have much time because I have to go back to work." She said, "It'll only take 3 minutes." Well, I finally agreed. She pulled a receipt from the register and said, "Follow me." She led us to her computer. She started by asking me the normal questions. My name, address, date of birth, etc. I noticed she was having trouble typing my information in the system. I decided to tell her to let me type itin for you. Because it was taking a long time. After trying a few times I told her I changed my mind. And would have to complete the process the next time I come,e in... That is when the friendly Lowe's Associate got angry. She gave me my receipt to pay. And angrily told me... "You've wasted my time." (The only thing I could imagine was she was going to losing her commission or something like that.) I looked at her and said, Excuse me... You're just doing your job, right? She replied to me in a very angry tone... "Not for people like you. I said to her... Wait.. I'm the customer. You shouldn't talk to me like that.... She told me that I was an indecisive customer. Who made her waste 3 minutes of her life. At this point I was completely outraged with the way the Associate was speaking to me. So I looked for her Name Tag so I could file a complaint. That's when I noticed she wasn't wearing one so I asked her... What is your name? She said... My name is Monica... I was surprised and I told her... Do you have the same name as me? And she said yes and smiled. I then told her I was going to write a review and she said do whatever you want. I have never felt so humiliated. I was so angry and frustrated. This woman was so nasty and rude to me. I've never been so disrespected in any store in my lifetime. I went back to the cashier to pay for the items that I purchased. But I couldn't because I was so upset. I went to the Store Manager to file a complaint with her/him about how I was treated. When I spoke to the Store Manager I explained the situation and I said that the Associate that had taken care of me (Monica). And the Manager says I don't have a Monica that works for me. I said the girl that does your credit card intake is not Monica? She said no her name is Victoria. So not only did she treat me bad but she lied to me about her name also. I was even more upset. This woman was treating me bad and making me feel like I am stupid too. I told Manager about the situation that I went through. I tried to explain myself to her. I told her that I did not want to return to the store because I was so abused and offended by the associate. I was so upset when I was talking to the manager. That when the manager reached over and touch my arm she could see that I was shaking. The manager said that she was sorry that I had to go through what I had gone through. I asked her to write the name of the Associate on the receipt that I had so that I could file a formal written complaint. I know that there wasn't a misunderstanding because the Associate and I are both Hispanic and she was talking to me in Spanish and I was talking to her in Spanish. This rude and impolite Associate... Why did she behave this way with me? Because she saw I was Hispanic? Because she thought I didn't speak English? Or because she thought I was undocumented and she could mistreat me if she wanted too. That I'm not going to say anything out of fear or lack of documentation. I wonder if she treats other Hispanics who visit Lowe's this way? People like her shouldn't be serving customers. When I got to my car, I told my husband everything, and he decided to talk to the manager because in our 23 years of marriage, he had never seen me like this. read more

I've bought 6k in appliances, flooring etc since November. Do not shop here unless you want your life to become needlessly complicated by people who have no idea how todo their job. Even the customer service employees will send you around to different departments when they don't feel like handling a simple return. First let me say... I didn't get a chance to look around, because I ran in to pick up a gift card for a house warming. Truly I was in and out in under seven minutes. What I can say is that I was greeted warmly upon entering the store, and offered a shopping cart right away. That was a pleasant surprise. I pop in here from time to time for various reasons. The other day it was to get some materials for a household project, today it was to make some key copies and tomorrow it'll probably be to get some herbs for my patio. Whatever the reasoning it's always a great experience! The staff is super friendly and helpful! When someone doesn't know the answer or no one is in the area there is always someone right around the corner to help or jump in to help. Today I looked lost at the key machine, as no one was at the key cutting area so tried to do it myself, and Jim saw me and immediately came to the rescue! Super friendly and chatty, while keeping his distance and being safe with a mask. Again this is just one of the many 5 star rating experiences I've had at this location. The checkout process was quick and easy, served with a smile like always. This is one of my Favorite Lowe's in the area so I'll keep coming back, and not just because it's the closest, but because of the service and staff! read more

Today I tried to get a resolution to a damaged KitchenAid refrigerator that Lowe's tried to deliver twice to my home. Currently the fridge is sitting in my garage and the delivery guys refuse to take back the fridge. This fridge was purchased 8 months ago while it was on back order but was scheduled to be delivered once my home was completed. The price of the fridge is $3099. The first delivery attempt on July 14th, the delivery guys showed me that the fridge was damaged and that they will report the damage and request a replacement for me. Lowe's customer care offered a 10 percent discount to accept the fridge and they will deliver the fridge to my kitchen. I accepted an offer of $500 off the cost of the fridge and they complete the delivery of the fridge to my kitchen. A second delivery date was set for July 17th. On July 17th the delivery guys came to my home to move the fridge from my garage to deliver to my kitchen. However, the delivery guys stated that they must remove the doors on the fridge to complete the delivery, but they are unable to do so because the screws on the doors are stripped and they are unable to remove the doors to complete the delivery. I called Lowe's customer care to determine what is next course of action. I was informed that the model fridge was out of stock by the vendor and will not be available until August 31st. Lowe's customer care stated the best course of action is to back to the store where I made the purchase and locate a comparable KitchenAid fridge to be exchanged. The comparable fridge that has the same or similar specs cost is $4049. After reciting all the details that has transpired to the assistant store manager, he indicated to me that I would have to pay a $1000 difference in order to complete the exchange. How can a company penalize a customer for a damaged fridge they attempted to deliver to me twice. I am not at fault for the damage to the fridge or their third-party delivery guys not being able to complete the delivery. As a loyal customer I feel disrespected and overlooked. I don't believe the employees as this Lowe's location do not care about its customers and their customer services skills are subpar at best. I will be reporting this incident to the BBB and the corporate office for an appropriate resolution. And while I didn't want to shop at Lowe's, it popped up on my horizon and knew that if someone else didn't have it, they surely would. As with all of these big box hardware stores, everything is very clearly laid out and the prices are clearly marked. When you find the right section (I'm usually in hardware), they have a ginormous selection. How many different picture hangers are there? Well, you'd be surprised and Lowe's stocks all of them. Keep an eye on the endcaps and "specials" bins. I found a neat curved jaw locking wrench. A tiny thing, I couldn't resist the $1.98 price! I visited the Lowes on South Blvd (217 Iverson Way) in Charlotte, Monday, February 3, 2025. After a delivery of my dented refrigerator, I visited the store where I made the purchase. I spoke to Taylor, who is a people person who is a gift to work with in customer service. Taylor asked if he could assist but I requested a manager. He called for Felicia, the Customer Service Manager, who was patient and listened to all my concerns about the initial delivery. Felicia was extremely helpful. She was professional, knowledgeable and addressed my concerns with a thorough explanation. Felicia is an asset to Lowes; she should definitely be a Lowes manager. Felicia contacted the third-party delivery company for Lowes and inquired about the time/date for the pickup of the dented refrigerator. I planned to purchase another refrigerator from a local appliance store where the delivery drivers were not third-party deliverers. Because of Felicia's assistance and input, I decided to purchase my refrigerator at Lowes. Liz, who worked in appliances, was knowledgeable and provided visual references for clarification prior to my purchase of the refrigerator. She also provided a thorough explanation of the difference in the refrigerator models. Liz is also an asset to Lowes. Both Liz and Felicia provided detailed assistance with professionalism. Thank you, Felicia and Liz, you two are amazing Lowes employees and the reason I purchased from Lowes again instead of going to a local appliance store to purchase the refrigerator. Frank, you are a GEM!!! I came here looking for my first girlie drill. I had been other places looking and also looking online, but I needed to talk with someone and tell them exactly what I was doing. Walking in with my best friend a worker came up to us to ask if we needed help, as we looked wondrously around Lowes for the power tools. I wasn't familiar with this location so I had no clue where they were located. After explaining what I thought I needed the gentleman guided me over to the correct area and said, lets share with Frank what you need. He knows everything about power drills and can take you to exactly what you need. As a girl of course I had my bag of STUFF that i was planning to build so I can provide examples and they can give me exactly what I needed. He looked around tested a few drills but couldn't find one that would quite work. Then he said have you thought about just using a hand screwdriver since this is a small starter project, I think this will be best for you first and its the exact fit. Then when you are ready to upgrade and you start making more than invest in a power drill. But if this project is just a hobby, for now, I say save yourself some money and get this one. See I like FRANK he did not try to take advantage of the situation and upsell me with something I TRULY did not need. But found something that will work for me now and also provided suggestions as to what I can get for the future. I truly enjoyed working with Mr. Frank and his honesty! read more

When I got to the store, I saw three employees having a conversation and I asked them if they could point me to the aisle with the furniture covers and I was told: we don't have them in stock, you'll have to order them online. Sherica in customer service was very rude and dismissive. 04/16/20 2:03pm As I was in line trying to replace a craftsman hand tool, right away she says "you need to call craftsman customer care" and pointed at the sign in the back. I said I've never heard of this new policy, since when do you make people call for regular hand tools? She said that "the sign was up there for a minute" and went outside without any explanation told me to call Customer Care phone number. While she was gone I called Customer Care she came back, looks over my shoulder and calls the next customer. I said excuse me I still need help with replacing this tool. After contacting instacart I was told I could just go to the store and get a refund placers on a gift card. I arrived and after 40 minutes of waiting for the employee to get his manager was told they couldn't give me a refund because they needed the original instacart shoppers card to place the refund on. They refused to accept the return and told me contact instacart. I just wasted 70 dollars and now have to shop elsewhere. I would put 0 star if I could. If I could leave a big fat ZERO review I would. This store, like so many on South Blvd, simply doesn't give a shit about customers or customer service. We bought a washing machine, had it delivered and it didn't work. Back to the store we went to find a replacement and get this dud of a whirlpool returned. Spent 30 minutes trying to find a new washer. Every last one we picked was either "out of stock" or "unavailable" and no idea when it would become available. Finally found an LG - yep you guessed it - that was $400 more than the whirlpool but by now we would have bought the "ye olde washboard" we were so fed up. We were told that we would get a call from the delivery department within 24-48 hours. Not sure what planet or alien timeframe they were talking about but we NEVER received that call. So. Back to this horribly run store we went. Waited in line 30 minutes in the appliance section only to be told we needed to speak to a head cashier. Waited in another line only to be told by said head cashier we needed to speak to a store manager. Waited even longer to speak to an Assistant Manager who then proceeds to tell us WE need to call a number, writes it down for us and he walks off!?!?!? Spent 2 hours on forever hold, to finally get some poor woman in some sad warehouse who can't help me. She transfers the call back to Lowe's customer center purgatory where we wait another 45 minutes. Good gravy - you CANNOT make this shit up y'all. I finally get some man who says that he will write up my complaint and put it on his manager's desk and that they will call me within 24 hours. I know - right - how gullible must I be?!?!! And NOPE. No phone call. What I do get? A call - two days later - less than 12 hours before it's to happen - and AUTOMATED - no less - telling me the delivery will be the very next morning between 8-12. For Lowe's this is a very neat and organized place. For me not having to ask anyone where something is located is pretty phenomenal. When I came here (in October) Christmas was already set up! Which I happen to love. They also have basic items right beside seasonal located here, so sometimes what you need may be here as well as in the isle. That was my case. In and out fast. They also give a 10% discount for military veterans, yay that's me too! Customer service was good, no long lines, easy to navigate. Overall good experience. read more

We've all been to different Harris Teeters and experienced that frustration I suppose. Clean store, friend service...my only recommendation for these stores is to align the exit and entry doors a bit closer so depending on where I walk in I don't have to walk a country mile when leaving. I ordered a pressure washer online that was not available at this store. The order was placed online June 12th, 2023. The shipment was never delivered as it was lost and then found damaged at a FedEx Wearhouse and returned to Lowe's. The Lowe's Customer Support line could not reorder the pressure washer for me but promised a refund to my credit card by July 12th, 2023. I reordered the pressure washer on June 29th, 2023 and have now been billed twice on my credit card for this item. I filed a dispute with the credit card company on July 14th as the refund from Lowe's was not yet credited. I am waiting for my dispute to be researched and this may take 2 billing cycles but the second billing is not now due pending the dispute research. What is with the low reviews? I am shocked. I am in the process of taking care of some home improvements as well as helping my Mom with some yard work issues. So, needless to say I have been spending more time than I thought I ever would, and like, at Lowe's. However, I have enjoyed my experience and not sure where I would go to find everything I need, from garden items to refrigerator refills. I have always been able to touch base with an employee and received the information I need. Unfortunately parking at this location is a nighmare. It appears so many people are confused by the split parking and/or everyone wants to park by the garden, In entrance, Exit entrance...all too confusing. It has been a nightmare just getting ahold of them, when I do get to talk to some one they cannot help, they put you on hold which ends up with a disconnect. I'm usually not in this neck of town, but this Lowe's would be where I go if I needed anything for a project or hardware related items. I was in a little bit of a rush when I went in here looking for some locks for a locker, but the greeter at the door greeted me warmly and asked if I needed help locating anything. I was already mid-bolt to the key/hardware section which is easy to find with the sign-age, but stopped and talked to him a bit... he realized i was in a rush and let me go on my way.... it's hard to get that sort of service now-a-days. read more
