I had the worst experience I've ever had at the Lowe's at 2100 Lowe's Dr in Clarksville, TN. I've been a loyal Lowe's customer for years, but after the way I've been treated the past three days in a row, I'm honestly done. For three straight days, I've had problems trying to purchase lumber from the discount rack. Each time, the lumber was not properly marked, and instead of anyone simply fixing the issue, I was given a hard time by associates. Today was the final straw. I noticed several pieces of lumber on the discount rack that were clearly damaged but not marked down. One piece was literally broken off and about a foot too short. Another was bent so badly it looked like it could be used as a teeter-totter. Clearly not good lumber. When I told the associate, she claimed she "knew which lumber was bad." Yeah, right. I went back up to purchase the lumber and then a different associate gave me a hard time too. They asked me to go take a picture of the 50% off pallet, so I started walking back there, then they called me back. Then I had to wait around for another associate to come verify the lumber was "bad." Then I had to wait again for someone else to come mark it down. This whole thing dragged on way longer than it needed to. When they finally rang me up, the total came to around $100, which seemed high, but at that point I was hot, frustrated, and just wanted to leave. I got to my car, grabbed some water, looked at my receipt, and sure enough -- I was charged full price for almost all of the damaged lumber. They even added lumber on there that I didn't purchase. So back inside I went to customer service. Even customer service seemed confused by what the lumber department had done. They had to fix the entire mess. This wasted about an hour of my time that I will never get back. This is completely unacceptable. Day one, I was hassled. Day two, I was overcharged and had to go to customer service. Day three, I was charged full price for damaged lumber and charged for items I didn't even buy. At this point, it honestly feels like I'm being targeted or messed with for some reason. I don't know what's going on with this store, but the service has gone downhill badly. Nobody asks if you need help anymore. Nobody smiles or greets you. Nobody offers to help load anything. Nobody offers to push your cart out or take it back in. That used to be the kind of service I expected from Lowe's. What happened to this store? What happened to Lowe's? I've had enough. Had 4 tiles so far crack in our kitchen 12 months two weeks after installation. Unfortunately they only have a 1 year warranty on work. That's a lot to spend on a floor that starts cracking in a year, and all we do is walk on it... it's not like we have elephants doing jumping jacks in here... read more

Came here for a new grill. Found the one I wanted outside but looked inside too. Was greeted by Cam. Turns out Cam is awesome, extremely helpful and friendly. He came out to see the grill I wanted. Suggested I get a picture of the item number. Told me to head inside and pay and he'll unlock the grills and wait for me to return. Went inside and wife found some mosquito repellent and a hummingbird feeder. Self check-out has no line but there was only one cashier, that was the most disappointing part of the visit. Cashed out and went outside and Cam was physically helping load a huge picnic table into a truck. I noticed two grills unlocked. Cam had checked the ignition mechanism and noted one not working so he ensured mine worked. Then he helped me load it and then went to get me the propane tank I bought. The entire time he was extremely friendly. Thanks Cam. I will be back to this Lowe's! read more

Based on my previous experience at this particular Lowe's location, I will go out of my way to visit this location. Every time that I have been to this Lowe's, the staff has been helpful and quick to approach me when I have the look of uncertainty on my face. This is better then some places where they will do their best to walk past you without being asked a question. The prices are in line with other similar big chain hardware stores that rhyme with Dome Repo. I also appreciate the Military Discount that they offer as well as their Veteran friendly environment. Like I said, I will go out of my way to come here for whatever I need, from a screw, to a bolt, to some wood. read more

DO NOT BUY A WASHER AND DRYER FOR DELIVERY!!! I was sold a washer and dryer and PAID for installation and delivery, and the day it was supposed to be delivered only my dryer was ready! The guy who sold me the washer and dryer set my washer for in store pick up. And I had to call the store more than 4 times to correct this, and finally got ahold of a manager. Then they had fixed it, and said I would get it delivered 2 days later. I had specifically stated that I need it delivered after 3 pm because I have work when I first purchased the washer and dryer, and then again when we had to fix the delivery to get my washer delivered as well. Then the night before I got a text that my washer and dryer were being delivered while I will be at work.... So I called the store and the manager said all he can do is send an email. I should have gone to Home Depot, they clearly don't care about their customers. read more

I ordered 125 ft of 8/3 copper wire with ground. The site showed delivery by 16 September 2024. A ae o d item I ordered on the same order arrived, then I got a text showing where to track my order. So I click on the link and have to keep toggling back and forth till I get the 16 digit number in the track box. I click track and it says I'll receive the wire on Thursday 19 September 2024. Well Thursday's here and no wire. I go back to the track message, enter the number again and now the site says that's not a valid order number. So I call their 1-800 number. I'm told the order was put through to their contractor supplier, they can't tell me when or if it will ship, they won't cancel my order, and they have to ask their supplier if they can cancel the order. WAIT, WHAT!? I ask their name and they say they can't legally give me their name I asked to speak to a supervisor. 11 minutes later, guy came back on the phone and said, "I tried to reach out to the contractor but there was no answer at the number we have". I said I didn't ask you to call anyone, I want to speak to a supervisor. Several back and forth and I was put on hold again. This time a new guy who whould only give a first name and said, he couldn't get ahold of the contractor to get permission to cancel the order. So, bottom line, credit card authorization for the $300.00 m/l. I have no delivery date. I have no wire. AND, I can't cancel the order through Lowes cause they're loyalty is with there suppliers that don't meet shipment/delivery commitment dates. Sad Sears used to treat customs this poorly too. Lowes did not follow delivery instructions and did not coordinate delivery to ensure someone was available to receive delivery. This is what happens when Lowes uoutsources their business to another company which is not accountable to the customer. I ordered a fridge for a tenant-occupied house that I own. I am not local. I wanted Lowes to contact the tenant directly to ensure tenant would be available for delivery. they didn't do that. Lowe's simply chose a delivery window and texted it to me by automation. no one contacted the tenant until the truck was 30 minutes away. I've never had an issue with Lowes in 6 years of purchasing my home improvement items, including a full flooring replacement of my previous home, carpet and hardwood, and most recently a fridge for our new home, just to list a few of the larger purchases. I will NEVER purchase anything from this location again. 3 weeks ago, I ordered a bathroom vanity and paid for detail measurement. The subcontractor was prompt and professional and I was told I would get a call from Lowe's to schedule the install when the vanity arrived. Two weeks went by and I heard nothing so I decided to call customer service. The order was never placed and there is no record on my account of this transaction. So I paid for a measurement for no reason because there isn't even a vanity on order. Just to add a little salt to the wound, the day of order we waited for nearly 30 min before being assisted and then the cashier at self checkout refused to assist us after we had scanned every item in our cart and sent us to another register. I special ordered a refrigerator while I was still in Washington state over the phone. Knowing that it may take a little bit to get it in, and our estimated day to close on our house. Stuff happened and we didn't close when expected but I received the ok from our builder for it to be delivered to the house. Upon delivery they were good at making sure they didn't hit anything (which I am grateful for). However when it came to assembling it they said they could not because of COVID and also didn't bring the Ice maker attachment hose which was also on the list to be delivered. I stopped by the store and picked up the hose attachment and when I asked about the assembly of the fridge, they said they couldn't because of COVID. Which I found unacceptable from previous deliveries. I contacted Lowe's corporate and they verified that it was to be assembled and hooked up. The rep took my name and information, stated the store manager would contact me. This was on evening of Monday the 21st of June. Upon coming back out to the house with my in-laws I noticed the fridge was put together. I have no way in knowing who put it together, but I am assuming it was the builder. It is now Saturday June 21st and still nothing from the store manager. Looks like any future purchases will be from the Madison Street location because I feel as though the Lowe's Dr location does not seem to care about their customers read more

I found everything I needed for my small project with a little help from the staff (finding the right aisle for my items to be exact). 10% military discount may not be so great for some people, but I figure every little bit helps. The only reason this is given a 2 star rating is because of Alan named Nick who graciously tried to help me. I called this store 3 times only to have phone ring at least 50 Times then someone picked up and hung up twice. Then I spoke with someone at pro desk that said they had what I needed . Made a trip down there only to be ignored fir at least 30 minutes after pushing button for assistance in paneling and mounding. Finally found Nick after at least 6 other employees walked by ignoring request for help with their nose stuck in their phones , so this way no eye contact could be made. Me lady with MST shirt on said she'd find someone and never came back. Finally nick found that what I was looking for was damaged and only 3 pieces available. The store was a disaster, horrible mess. Rugs in the isles junk just stacked on floors everywhere. What a mess. I went to Madison store and it was clean neat, customer service still sucked but at least someone helped us. No one at this Lowe's knew what they were talking about. Maybe take a hint , train the employees and if they don't know what something is ask questions instead of saying we don't have if! read more

I have recently purchesed a washer and dryer and The manager Harris said he was going to get people to come fix my dryer because it was not connected Correctly and they gave me the round around for 3 days stright saying someone will come. On September 12 it only took me 4 minutes to open the door and they were already leaving and said they had other things to do... As to now Harris said he was going to call me a week a go abd up to this day he has not. read more

If you've got half a day to spend waiting for a pick up on purchased appliances then this is the store for you. Not once but twice I've had to wait over 40 minutes. Ordered a dryer online then get there and it's not ready. They asked me to come back in a few hours. Upon my return I still had to wait 45 minutes to have dryer brought up. Go in two weeks later to buy a washer, told they don't have one this morning but it will be in that afternoon. I pay for it and come back around 5:00. Customer service called appliances to check to see if it is in. I wait 35 minutes, no washer yet. Ask again about washer and was told oh they got tied up with a customer but would go check. 15 minutes later I asked for a refund. I have done business at many Lowes locations and have never had as poor service as this store. read more

The ever lovely Ms. Jones has given this Lowe's five visits to make a better impression on her and sadly, that has not happened. It would appear the manager of this location should be replaced as very few of the people working here seem to care about their customers. Where does this type of mindset come from when it is evident in multiple departments???? That's right: The Manager. From long waits at the paint counter (after ringing for assistance and requesting four different employees send someone over yet no one arrives), to phone calls that ring and ring with no answer, to long check out lines...not one thing is ever seamless at this location and it's always uphill. Literally. As much as Ms. Jones would like to support this local hardware store, she will not be wasting her time here again. The location in Mayfield is MUCH better from a customer service standpoint. Take it from Ms. Jones, you'll be a lot less frustrated driving over to Paducah than working with the Murray location. read more

It's not my usual Lowes but I enjoy this place. I stopped in to pick up some copper pipe and a circuit breaker for some projects around my rental house. The guy working the electrical aisle was extremely helpful. I had a few basic questions about some of the conduit I wanted to use and he knew exactly what I needed better than I knew what I needed. Lowe's Military Discount Program registration is such a hassle. Do they really want to give us a break? At the store, they say that you must register online. When I went online, it said that I had to go into the store. When I was in the store, they had to ask for my telephone number in addition to seeing my military ID card at the register to get a discount. This is why I prefer to go the Home Depot, where they make it easy! Don't give the false appearance that you want to help us veterans when in truth you really don't seem to want us to get a break without having to make us jump through hoops first; each and every time! We already did and do that in the Armed Forces. We do have some pride, you know? No only Home Depot, but many other places give breaks with very little hassle! read more

I went into Lowes (probably my 100th visit) and dealt with the lady working in the paint department. She isn't native to the US, if this gives any Lowes managers a better idea on who she is. I was attempting to find a dark red for an outdoor palette project. I found a swatch and she proceeded to tell me with an attitude that it's "Only for the expensive paint, so you may want to find another color." Insinuating that I wasn't going to pay $30 for a gallon of paint. I walked out and went to Home Depot to purchase Behr Ultra. Had my mother walk back to get one nail because the cashier is completely clueless on what type of nail it was. Then rolled her eyes at us several times. Worst experiences ever. Make this time not once, not twice, but THREE times this lowes has majorly screwed up in my book. The most recently, I ordered a washer and dryer set with pedestals and a lawnmower. I get my guarantee of delivery in almost 3 weeks since the washer was ordered. Ok, well on my delivery day I take off work to be home for the delivery. I'm told at 8 a.m. that I'm the 4th on the list so itll be around lunch. No updates on time are given ALL DAY!!! Hours go by, now its 3pm. I call to see the status... I'm told their truck broke down and I need to reschedule. I agree reluctantly since I dont want to take another day off to see it done, but what can I do....then the delivery manaeger calls me and says he fixed it. And another truck will be going to the broke down truck to get my stuff and it will be delivered today. Yes! I'm thinking great. Well, a hour and a half later, the driver of the second truck calls and claims he too cannot make it...what a rollercoaster. I called Lowes and no manager that I spoke with had any care or respect for me the customer. No "we are sorry here is x, y, or z to make up for it." Just a big Fat "well sorry, we can't do anything." Get your stuff together Lowes, I will never step foot at this location of lowes and possibly never in another lowes again. So tired of being told as a customer that I'm not right, and I just need to deal with crappy customer service and bad work ethic. Management at this location should not schedule so many deliveries if they are short on trucks or drivers, and if a customer takes a 400 dollar day off of work to accommodate your delivery process, some consideration or compensation for the customers lost time and waste of a day should be done. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION. This is the 3rd time I've had terrible experiences here. read more

We ordered new kitchen appliances in early June 2020 for a full kitchen remodel (paid in full when order was placed). We were told all would be delivered July 14 so scheduled electrical and Plumbing contractors accordingly. That day came and went...no appliances and NO communication from Lowe's. I contacted them and was told that 2 items were in store (dishwasher and refrigerator) and that double wall oven was scheduled for "next truck" while range hood was back ordered. Was given new date of 1st Tuesday in August. Well, that date just came and went and again, no appliances and NO COMMUNICATION from Lowe's. Tried contacting the store to no avail. Reached out to Corporate and they began an "Incident" on the situation and informed me that someone from store management should contact me within 24hrs. They DIS NOT (shocked!). I did contact the asst. mgr on duty (David) who ended up hanging up on me half way through my explaining the reason for my call. No idea what's going on with Lowe's. We've remodeled 3 homes using them but sadly this will be the last. Going up the Corporate chain to cancel the order as the local store is useless at this point. read more

I bought a planter that cost 39.00$ on Monday evening, along with that I purchased three Lily's along with the soil to go in it, i did buy a couple other things from the nursery and my bill was $148.00. Nevertheless, i got home and put the stuff in the planter but I couldn't get the sticker off, so I decided to turn around where I couldn't see it, and when i did the entire planter simply came apart in every way, the bottom sides top , dirt went everywhere and made a mess.
