I purchased a 4 piece patio set today from this location and one piece was damaged. I went in to return it and spoke to Alicia. She was incredibly helpful and explained it would not be easy to quickly replace it as it was stored on the top shelf and needed to be taken down with 2 people. I told her I didn't mind coming back tomorrow if needed. She agreed to hold it AND have someone put it together for us! Now that's customer service. Great job Lowe's! read more

I used to shop at Lowes Clermont but am done doing that. When I went in to return a product there were three return registers open with two people at each one talking to each other. After a while one of them asked me what I wanted. When I showed them the items I was returning,the girl said that she couldn't do it because I had them too long. She said the return policy was on the bak of the receipt that I had but it was faded and couldn't be read. I had the item for about four months but had the receipt and all the original tags on it. This is not the first time that I have had problems at this location and will now do business with the other home store a block down from Lowes. Over the years I have spent a lot at Lowes as we remodeled our house. The other home store in town will now get all my business. read more

I really love our Clermont location. I have had a few hiccups here but for the most part they made it right and I ended up leaving happy. Today's visit was no different. Went in for a few home projects and after running my thoughts through the hardware rep, we came up with the best plan of action, and she helped me gather my supplies, and off I went. Along the way, a few associates asked if I needed help. Lowe's used to be a dreaded stop for those necessary items that only a home store can provide, endless time wasted up and down isles looking for that one item...but now, it seems like the employees have come away from that reputation and made themselves more available for help and more times than not, they are correct about what isle to check. Lowe's isn't perfect, but I have to admit, going to this location doesn't make it such a drag. On a side not, they do offer a military discount. 10% if you have a retired ID or VA card. They won't accept the V on the license. Have fun! read more

The store itself is ok. Typical Lowe's nothing amazing nothing bad. It's not till you get to the check out is where the experience of this Lowe's is where you will want to go else where. Not once have I seen the self check out lanes every operate here. Which would be a blessing since the human contact you have with the human check out is the downfall to here. It's seems a bother and the biggest headache to their day to actually purchase something from here. Not a hello a smile or even eye contact from the cashiers. Some sort of knowing your their besides a grunt or pointing. If you wish to have costumes swipe their debit card make it so they can with out having merchandise or fliers in the way forcing you to bend your card. Just avoid this one and go to Home Depot across the street or the Lowe's down Highway 27. read more

This is more of a review for renting the rug machines. I've rented them a few times before and it's usually good but the past 2 times they were filthy. They make it very clear and stress the fact that if you don't clean it they will charge you $25. I just want to know who enforces it as this is the second time I've had to clean in before using it. Received a kobalt wrench set as a present, one of the wrenches fell apart instantly. Went to exchange as it had a lifetime warranty. Cashier refused at first, said I had to bring whole set back and a receipt. Manager got involved... had to give my DL and get a refund... then had to give my DL again and purchase the exact same thing. Total bullshit. Have never been made to feel like a criminal before! Never ever had that kind of issue with sears craftsman or Ace tools. Wonder what happens if 10 years goes by.... they probably won't honor their "lifetime" warranty! read more

Lowe's Clermont Florida disappointed me so much that I have not been back in 6 months. I was purchasing some concrete and stucco mix for a project and LAZY employees sat there and did nothing. I requested the Manager on Duty (MOD) and they would not even call. A really nice customer helped me load the material. After loading the material I parked my SUV and went in to visit the MOD. She informed me that the store had plenty of help and they should have assisted me. This experience was not a one-time event at Lowe's. I would estimate that I spend at least 10k at that store before I had enough bad experiences to force me to give up. I am constantly doing projects and they have lost a customer for LIFE! I gave "MY LOWE'S card to the MOD that day and WILL NEVER return. Customer service should be the most important factor at a store and I vote with my dollars. read more

Went there on 1/7/2015 as I needed two identical outdoor ceiling fans and the Winter Garden store only had 1. When I got to the check out I was told my veterans discount proof (the "v" on my drivers license which I needed to bring all my military documents proving my service to the motor vehicle office to get the "v" or veteran tag) was not acceptable. Mind you, this had always worked at Lowes , Home Depot, Ace hardware and everywhere else in Florida proof is required. I probably spent $5000 at Lowes winter garden over the years and a big reason IS the discount I get. This Clermont store said "nope" so I called winter garden and they said they would honor my discount post sale at the Clermont store so I promptly went back to the winter garden store and the manager, Nick, refunded my purchase and reapplied the 10% discount (about $30 dollars) to the same purchase. I am totally shocked how horrible Lowe's has become. My husband and I went in and purchased THREE appliances, after waiting about 30 mins for someone to help us because there was only ONE employee in the department at the time. He also let us know NUMEROUS times that this wasn't his section and that he was supposed to be on lunch. The employee rang up our appliances, told us it would be $30 per appliance for the delivery guys to take away the old ones. A day later Lowe's called us and said "oh sorry the one you ordered we don't have in stock so it wont be able to be delivered for another week" (so it wouldn't be delivered with out other appliances). The delivery guys came Sunday and immediately said "oh we don't uninstall or install dishwashers"...So I asked well why did Lowe's charge me $30 to take away my dishwasher then??? I ended up going to Lowe's to straighten the situation out, only to find that installation is a totally separate $150 fee and I would have to schedule another appointment entirely. No one explained this to us In the store. I also called the other Lowe's in Winter Garden and they said " absolutely not you should not have to pay another fee for installation". Needless to say, I will never shop there again. We are now HomeDepot people. read more

I purchased a $500 Weber Grill from this Lowes store.. I purchased it there since they offered assembly and delivery (I am not a handyman and don't own a truck) When I hooked up the propane tank the grill leaked like a sieve. Had I started it I would no doubt have been killed. When I called Lowes for assistance they told me to remove the gas line assembly and bring it in for a replacement - that they would offer no other support. If I knew how to assemble it I could have bought a less expensive grill somewhere else. Now I have a $500 useless hunk of metal and need to hire a plumber or handyman and pay to find out what Lowe's did wrong with their product. Unless you are a DIY er I would not do business with Lowes.. Their customer support sucks. read more

Went to the store this evening to purchase paint. Freddy took the paint and told me there was a wait of two customers ahead of me. Granted he was the only person in paint but the store was not slammed or even that busy. Waited twenty minutes walked back by and he was finishing with customer one. Walked back by another two to three times. After the 40 minute mark went and stood by the paint desk. Freddy was mixing paint for someone who came in way after I had. He looked at me and continued to work with them. At the hour and 10 minute mark decided to tell them forget it. Was then told rudely by Freddy that he couldn't find the color I asked him to make. It is a current valspar color. I told him it would have been nice to know this before now. He once again rudely told me he couldn't find me to tell me this. Ummmm I was standing at your paint desk for 30 minutes and walked by numerous times and made eye contact. Exceptionally rude and horrible customer service. Will not shop or recommend this store to anyone, plus I will be pulling my commercial account from the store on Monday. Thanks for an hour long wait for rudeness and stupidity. read more
