Maytag Pet Pro High Efficiency Stackable Large (5-cu ft ) Front Load Washer (Midnight Steel) The washer and dryer were just purchased six months ago and both are already throwing an error code. The code for the dryer means that the button panel is stuck. The Maytag washer is also a piece of junk and poorly manufactured. The main filter for the washer is way down inside the machine and needs a repair person to come clean it out. There is no access panel or easy way for someone to clean out the main filter without a service call. After the warranty runs out, I will have to pay someone to come clean the filter of my washer... Do not recommend buying the washer or dryer. We also had to wait a month for a technician to just look at our washer and dryer- not fix it, just to look at them. Now that they have been looked at, we have to wait for another day for TWO technicians to come at the same time so that they can take the dryer down and then take the washer apart to clean out the filter... We have already spent over $200 at the laundromat washing laundry because we have a six week old baby and need to do laundry daily. Over $200 at the laundromat, despite having a brand new washer and dryer in our laundry room... absolutely ridiculous. read more

Absolutely terrible service i walk around for 15 plus minutes at a time trying to find an employee which are never seen or on the sales floor, I should have learned my lesson when I went to the hot water heater section and pressed the customer service button I was in the market to buy the best tankless hot water heater I could buy for an upgrade for my home and I stood there for 20 minutes when the light was flashing and the intercoms were paging customer service in the hot water heater department over and over and over where two employees finally and slowly walked by and I yelled "oh! Hey!, can you help me with hot water heaters!?" They both shook their heads and both just kept saying "I don't know anything about hot water heaters" and just kept walking. So I gave up and just went to Home Depot. I then (stupidly) went back to Lowe's about a week later to upgrade my washer and dryer this time I ambushed an employee at the appliance department and he was very stern and NOT a nice person but my wife really wanted this washer and dryer so I paid $2,400 for a new washer and dryer and paid for the delivery and hookup fee. They showed up 4 days later with my new washer and dryer the two delivery guys couldn't have been more than 20 years old they were very inexperienced they clumsily brought the washer and dryer in my home banging walls and doorways I had to yell out for them to be careful with my home about 5 times. They "hooked up my washer and dryer" while me and my wife were in the kitchen and then they left without saying anything. We put the first load of laundry in the washer to test it out a medium sized load of clothes before we knew it the washer was bagging like a drum and walking across the floor so violently it unplugged itself from the wall!! I scooted it across the floor back to its original spot and took the wet clothes out. I tried again the next day with a small load, maybe 3 shirts and 2 pair of lie jeans. The next thing I know the washer was banging and walking across the floor AGAIN!! I went back to Lowe's and demanded to talk to a manager and explained to him what happened that there HAS to be something wrong the delivery guys weee very young and asked if they could send a professional to my home to double check the instillation and I would gladly pay a service fee again to make sure it was done right, the manager disagreed and denied my request saying nothing else. I reminded him that I paid $2,400 for the washer and dryer and that should get me some kind of cooperation. The manager just kept shaking his head no and denying. I ended up having to call a professional from Angie's list. The contractor came to my house the next day and inspected the washer and dryer and discovered that the delivery crew for Lowe's DID NOT remove the rubber block stoppers that were screwed in to hold the drum of the washer down during shipment from the factory. So ether the young delivery guys we're inexperienced and had no idea what they were doing or they tried to set me up for failure for telling them 5 times to be careful with my walls banging the washer and dryer around clumsily. Even though this Home Depot is just 2 miles away from my home I'll never be back! I'll drive across town to Home Depot. read more

We had a firm order to have pine straw delivered. We had to drive 1 1/2 hour to get to the delivery location. They never showed up so we called customer service. No one answered after 2 half hour calls on hold. So we went to the store and found out one of their employees can amend our order and the pine straw was no longer in stock. We have now been waiting 1/2 hour to talk to a manager without any luck. Are zero stars allowed? read more

The second time I've been to Lowe's in Florence Alabama to buy products that I had to leave and go to Home Depot. Spoke with two Lowe's employees and both said they would get us some help. Went to Home Depot and got everything we needed for shelving. If the goal is to kill the Lowe's brand, it's definitely working. Good job Lowe's. read more

Was to have a delivery between 830 and 1230. At 1 I called Lowe's. Manager stated that had to put on a different truck. Will be later today when delivered. No one called that the delivery would be later in the day. No more planning to have Lowe's make a delivery since can't seem to have common sense to call. read more

As the saying goes if i could give NO stars i would. If you are needing help with anything i suggest against Lowes. We went there to purchace over 1000$ worth of items for the house, heavy items . We on our last bit of material needing help, because items were banded. Employees said sure they would help then found better things to do and just looked back at us, like we were to get impatient and load ourselves.. LAZY.. So we waited on them to finish the sweeping and figured we would be helped after that. NOPE they just left. Well, we left also never to return. read more

I went to the Florence, Alabama Lowe's store yesterday looking for several items. Having a hard time finding them I spotted a worker named Bruce in the lighting department of the store and I asked him if he might know where certain items might be located. He said he would help me and he lead me all over and throughout the store searching for hard to find things that I I had previously not been able to find anywhere else in town. He help me locate every item I needed and not only that he was amazingly knowledgeable about everything I was looking for and was one of the nicest most congenial human beings that I've ever encountered in any store anywhere anytime. Thank you so very much Bruce what a pleasure it was working with you and thank you Lowe's for hiring Bruce. I hope you give him a raise. read more

Such a horrible experience. We came in around 5 tonight to get some wood and some other things, everyone that worked there just stood around and stared. It's like no one knew what they were doing. It says at the registers to let them know how they are doing, well they are doing horrible is all i can say. they act like they didn't even want to work and then someone got off work and just ran past us trying to ask questions. definitely one of the worst experiences ever. read more
