First off let me be the one to say they will not make mention of their return policies upfront. They have very few exemptions to their return policies and they will not help you understand it. And the tried to sell us 500$ padding then we looked in the back and there was some that cost 90$. This place is a joke!! Ordered a dishwasher on Lowe's website . Picked up dishwasher on Wednesday. Didn't have a chance to install it till Monday. So Monday I open box of dishwasher and see that it's is damaged. Front door won't close. So I call Lowe's to tell them of damages and told that basically I'm screwed cause I only have 2 days after purchase to return item even though Lowe's damaged it! So now waiting a month so Maytag can come and fix unit or decide what to do! Lowes this is BULLSHIT! Nothing but a scam. Will never ever buy anything from them again! Buyer beware if you have to deal with Nick or Scott in the flooring department. The lies roll of their tongues like water! I was a customer who had to do THEIR job to get the flooring I wanted. Among other things, they said it would take 7-10 days to get the product but after talking to Kristi and disrespectful Nick at the 7 day mark, the answer was that it had NOT even shipped from the warehouse yet so new time frame was 14 days. Had a new counter top installed was to go over my current custom sturdy cabinets & keeping my custom size sink. We'll whe the installation/ removal of current sink arrived all the planned changed. The removal looked like a destruction photo from TV & made it where my top 2 drawers beside the sink no longer fit as the custom sink was damaged by the careless showoff removal, that also ruined the corner base cabinet heavy duty 360 degree turntable. The cut outs were completed in my home w/o a vacuum catch bag so my LG sliding windows got where won't slide & the raw edge above that window was never polished as was ordered. So I'm stuck with all the sink/plumbing/cabinet repair as Lowes nor the installation company they contractor won't help. The original clerk I ordered from & another came 10 days ago took photos & nothing is happening so Looks like may need look into some assistance to close this issue? read more

We tried to get a refrigerator delivered 3 times and still no refrigerator. Twice they brought damaged items and once the delivery drivers didn't know how to remove the refrigerator doors to get it into the house. The communication between the store, distribution center, delivery service and customer isn't working. We're very disappointed in a national company and how they don't care about their customers. read more

Terrible flooring department!! Do not get flooring here!! I had carpet installed a year and a half ago. We realized the carpet was defective so filed a claim. The claim took 8 months. I went back and forth with the Lowe's team and no one knew about my previous calls. Finally I got an appointment to have it installed with a two month later install date. The day of, they called, after we moved all our furniture, they said they didn't have the carpet cut and couldn't install it! I haven't heard back. read more

This store has the worst customer service. Inept rude argumentative staff. It's happened three times now. It took one hour for them to process a return (and I was the only customer in line) and I had a receipt. Horrible experiences. I've never had that experience at Home Depot or Menards, which is 30 minutes away from me but that's where I'll be shopping in the future. read more

My rating is specifically for their windows & doors dept. I went in and ordered 2 middle of the line storm doors for my home. I was told a person would come out and measure but no one did. I called weeks later and they couldn't find my order. When I gave them my order # they found my order and made an excuse as to why no one had ever contacted me. They did finally schedule someone to come out and measure, the first person that came measured incorrectly, so they had to send out someone else (a contractor) when that person came out they complained about the first person. Once the doors were finally measured correctly they weren't installed until weeks later, even though they were in stock. At that time I'd called regarding the door installation I'd requested they measure a window - which they did...., but I wasn't informed until I went into the store to pick out the window that they have a 3 window install minimum, so I asked them to have the person come back out and measure 2 additional windows, they never followed up about the first window or the additional measurements. The front storm door now (4 mos after install) doesn't shut properly, when I called Lowes they sent the original contractor who informed me I had "a cheap door" and that there wasn't anything he could do. I will NEVER work with Lowes again for any of my home improvement needs. Terrible service all around. read more

Will never recommend Lowe's #19 for All new Kitchen remodel.. I realize things have been held up with Covid.... but in my case we have to reorder cabinets 4 times plus one additional order as a add on.. cabinets have been set and countertops people are a additional 4 weeks out just to do a template. (But the should have been called way earlier!) the contractor even stopped in there to"show them what we needed" I had to stop out to "pay again" for cabinets when I noticed they were wrong size... the other employee never told the designer. But I have not got NO refund yet from first set of. Upper cabinets. But I've had to "prepay" all the new orders?????? I felt like I have had to complain and get upset before I can get them to follow through. I was told it would be a 3/4 day progress, but they disconnected my stove on day one, all my new appliances were here same time as cabinets. But it's been 8 days without stove. The contractor came one day this week and I was told "he will probably be here Monday? " It's been a nightmare! read more

I would NEVER recommend store #19! I have NEVER encountered such an issue with a store in my life! I will NEVER order through Lowes ever again!! Dryer went out Friday night, went to Lowes on Sunday and bought a washer n dryer (with my new Lowes card)to be delivered from a 3rd party outsource on Monday. They were not delivered when they said; after 2 hours of phone calls to 3 different stores/warehouses because my order wasn't in the system and could not be found, it was determined there was a "bug" in the system and the washer and dryer were never ordered. So they had to refund my card and reorder them, to be delivered on Wednesday. Wednesday comes n goes with no delivery. Call Lowes, again nobody can seem to find my order‍ AGAIN it was determined there was a "bug" in the system and my order never went through. So again, card was refunded and another reorder with a Friday delivery, this time with $63 extra added onto my total due?! Not to mention that I ended up at the laundry mat for almost 2 hours n $40 less Friday: delivery scheduled 11:30am-3:30 pm. Call Lowes at 1:30pm to confirm my washer n dryer were still on schedule to be delivered. They said yes by 3:30 cuz I was the 4th delivery. Well, 8pm and still no delivery! Call Lowes, they looked in the system n says it should have been delivered but gave me the number to the redistribution center to see what's going on. Call redistribution center, they look in the system and it says "delivery cancelled by dispatch of JB Hunt (the 3rd party delivery service) because it was an 80 mile drive". So, the redistribution center puts on for a redelivery for Sunday morning. I ask, "so how do I know it's really gonna be delivered this time? If they canceled it once how do I know the same thing won't happen again?" So they give me JB Hunts phone number for dispatch so I can call n make sure there will be no issues. So I call JB Hunt, the lady told me "we cannot and will not deliver it. We are under a contract with Lowes that the farthest we will deliver is 75 miles from the redistribution center, your address is 80 miles from redistribution center. Call the store and ask what they are gonna do for your situation" click...dial tone?!? Like really???!!! So again, call Lowes and explain everything I was told. The response..."well idk what to do then". At this point, with all the hassle n stress I'm over it, ready to blow a fuse is an understatement!! I tell the lady " look, this is the 3rd time this week y'all screwed me over. I paid for the washer n dryer n the installation, I want my washer n dryer!! This is miscommunication between y'all n the 3rd party. I'm just the customer, I shouldn't be the one tracking down my order, n tryin to figure out how to get my washer n dryer!! If they won't deliver it then that's up to y'all to figure out how your gonna deliver the merchandise that I already purchased! That's on y'all to figure it out, so figure it out n get it to me!! Find a store closer that has it in stock and I'll go pick the shit up myself, at this point I just want my damn washer n dryer!!!" I have never had this many issues with a store/delivery before!! This is beyond ridiculous...won't deliver because it's 5 miles more than stated in the contract?!? Like hello, I live in Fremont, not in the country, here in town. Bought carpet and had them install it. They tore up our trim in multiple places. Even broke one piece of trim. My wife took pictures and contacted them. Lowes had the installer call. They weren't going to do anything but then agreed to giving us 200 dollars on a lowes card. When my wife went to lowes they had no idea what she was talking about. Then the installers said it was 100. She went back to lowes. No one knew what she was talking about. They agreed to give her paint and a brush to repaint all the damage. She went to pick it up. They didn't know what she was talking about. Finally got a guy to bring her a can of paint and a brush. She said the paint needs tinted. They acted all ticked off about that. read more

We went through Lowe's to do a complete bathroom renovation. BIG MISTAKE!!!! 1st off I want to say we only have one bath in our home.The project specialist was not competent in ordering or communicating with the contractor about our products. We ordered a shower surround with glass doors. We picked out shower doors where both panels move and we picked out really nice hardware. First, when our shower was delivered, they delivered the wrong doors then we find out that the project manager messed up our shower door order. We could not get the shower doors with the hardware we originally ordered because they were custom. NOT OUR FAULT!!!! We were told we could get the doors but we would have to pay the extra cost and wait another 6-8 weeks for delivery! We shouldn't have had to pay anything extra because we were told we could get them and they should have either given us temporary doors or put a rush on the custom order. The tile installed on our bathroom floor was installed wrong the project specialist never noted how we wanted the tile installed. The project specialist told us they would fix everything but it would prolong our renovation because they would have to un-install the shower surround and rip up the floors. With only 1 bathroom available to us and our project already taking longer than was originally stated we could prolong it any further. I was told that we could get a refund on the labor for our floor which I though was fair because we did get the product just not installed the way we wanted it. Then I am told that since Lowe's had already paid out the cost of labor they would refund me for the product. Not my problem they paid out the cost of labor it was their fault the floor didn't get installed properly and I didn't get the doors I was told I could get. I WILL NEVER USE LOWE'S AGAIN FOR ANY TYPE OF RENOVATION!!!!! read more

If your a contractor they will kiss your behind and give you something practically for free but if your a regular person like me an especially a woman they will treat you like your stupid and will embarrass you in front of the whole store and laugh about it. That is the type of people that work here. Did you know a contractor can get a window for less then $30 but they will still charge you full price. When you ask the people that work here for help they give you the wrong information and have you buy the wrong stuff so you have to come back. Then they call you stupid for buying what they tell you to buy. If I could there rating would be a negative instead of a one star. Did you know they can give you a contractor discount even when your not a contractor or even have a business if they consider you a friend. I've seen this myself and had them treat me this way. Just think of how much money this place is losing doing business this way. Lowes if you read this fix it because your losing thousands if not millions. read more

Lowe's is basically useless to me as a hardware store. Last time I went there I was looking for wheels for my bench grinder. The kid that tried to "help" me finally admitted that he didn't even know what a bench grinder was after trying to sell me cut off wheels for an angle grinder. When I showed him the bench grinder on the shelf, it turned out that they only carry 6 inch stones. I have an 8 inch grinder. read more
