Deceptive Marketing practices.. Purchased a nice microwave oven on sale online at Lowes.com, for pick up at the Henderson Lowe's on Marks St. They supposedly had 2 of them in stock. When I called to verify the item was ready to be picked up, they supposedly lost my order. I then faxed them a copy of my online receipt. After putting me on hold which seemed like forever, she came back and said they only had one in stock, but it was damaged, and one display item which they can't sell. I asked her how badly it was damaged, but she didn't know. Something just didn't sound right so I told her I was coming down to the store to see for myself. When I got there the girl I spoke to on the phone (starts with a V) had conveniently just gone to lunch. I then asked to speak with a manager, who eventually came over and introduced himself (starts with a J). After explaining the whole situation to him, he looked up the item in their system and said they don't have any of them, not even the display or damaged one as I was previously told. He said he couldn't even order me one because the advertised price was below their cost. They played games, then would not honor the listed sale price. Horrible marketing practices and customer service. Definitely won't shop there again! read more

Very nice store and very friendly. I really like their patio furniture area, it's always setup nicely. We've bought a few plants from their nursery (which is actually Star Nursery) and everything is still kick'in! Remember, it's not a project unless you go to the hardware store 3 times! read more

I went in last night and paid 1200 for a water heater and installment letty promise i would have it done today i get a call at 853 and bree said i hear from a guys in couple hours and hours went by i had to call and i found out they said not today it would be monday. Thats poor customer service and very unprofessional. I returned the items and got my money back. I called anytime plumbling and had it done for under 1000 and done with in hours of me calling. This place is the worst. They never have more than 2 lanes open and enjoy being in line for 20 minutes while they spend more time trying to sell their credit card than checking people out. I recently have started to shop at this lowes. I am a big lowes fan. I come into the store and right in customer service I hear a idiot of a customer arguing with the cashier about having to wait behind another customer is costing her to much time. She was angry because at customer service apparently three people in line is absurd and patience is no longer a virtue. To make a long story short. I give five stars to the customer service lady for not flipping her wig. I give the finger to those customers that feel complaining and being belligerent in a store is any else but annoying. read more

I don't usually shop at this location but i was on that side of town and decided to stop in and just get it out of the way. Steve in the lumber department helped me out by cutting a ton of pieces for me. Went above and beyond my expectations. He then helped me out in doors and windows. Unfortunately, they didn't have what I was looking for. He built me a quote for something comparable. I will definitely be back to this location. read more

It took at least 15 minutes before I could find an employee to answer a question. When I found him, he kept walking, while I trotted along beside him, showing him my piece of hardware that I needed to replace and asking where I might find such a thing. "Somewhere else," he said. So I went to Home Depot. I had a long list of things to buy, in addition to that little metal thing, and I bought them all there. Other than the one employee with poor social and customer service skills, however, I've always had excellent experiences at Lowe's and usually find exactly what I need. The only caveat is that I have to know precisely what I need, and I have to find it myself. The employees at Home Depot on Pecos are a lot friendlier and more helpful. read more

I live near this Lowe's and often choose to come here for convenience. However, I've never had great customer service at this location until a few days ago. This has got to be the worst store on the planet. They have employees that walk around like zombies. They see people are in need of help and just ignore them. We have been trying to get in touch with the store manager and I think it would be easier to reach President Donald Trump. He leaves early and doesn't return calls. Trying to get through to Customer Service is ridiculous. We have been trying to get shower doors installed since May. To date they have not been installed. They came to measure using their only installer in Las Vegas from Arizona Shower Door. That is the only company that Lowes uses for installations apparently. This company will get a separate review. The installer measured it wrong and now they have to remove the wrong one and replace with new doors. Still waiting. I would not recommend this store for shower doors. read more

Zero stars. Entered this Lowes about 2pm on a Tuesday afternoon to pick up a few items and collect the toilet I ordered online. Lots and lots of employees standing around doing absolutely nothing but no one to help find things. My wife was walking down an aisle where there was an employee loading a shelf. She said "I'm behind you" as she walked by. He turned around and hit her with a box and then looked at her with annoyance. Then we go to Customer Service to pick up our toilet. More employees standing around. Finally a young lady comes over to the register scans my code. The toilet box weighs 118 lbs. She says pull up front and I'll get some associates to load it for you. Waiting, waiting, waiting, more waiting. Go back inside. She says no one came when I paged them. Again she pages and no one shows up. Okay here's where it gets really good. I tell her, "look if your people can't bother to help me load then just give me a refund. I don't want it anymore. "Oh I can't do that, she says. Because I already logged it as picked up. Ok well then I'm returning it. Please give me a refund. Cashier, "I don't know how and I'm going home in a few minutes. someone will come in after me and they'll have to take over. Maybe they know how." WHAT???? I say get me a manager right now please. Shortly there after a guy name Mo shows up. Shout out to Mo for doing his job. He and I loaded the item into the car. I wish I could give negative stars! The following is my response to Lowes on the HORRIBLE customer service she received from this store/company. The below review is from my sister. How awful of a business is this?! She came into this establishment with her hard earned money, bought new appliances, promised swift delivery, and nothing but horse shit service ever since. Wrong color refrigerator, broken burner on stove, unkept delivery times and DAYS, and careless managers. My family will NOT being anymore business with LOWES and encourage all our friends and those of you reading this on FB and yelp to be hesitant and think twice. Customer Service is HORRIBLE! At this store. I ordered appliances..they sent the wrong fridge, the knob on the stove was crooked, when I called the following day to report the knob was crooked, i was told that when they deliver the correct fridge, they would look at it...fast forward to 3 wks later, they never called the night prior, I had to call for est delivery time, they were late, the guy was not informed to look at stove, of course not, when I called the store, was given a number to call. Not acceptable! Fast forward again, I am currently waiting on stove replacement from store..again, no phone call the night before, I had to call the store again with time of 7-9pm..it is currently 10:30 at night. EXTREME DISAPPOINTMENT!! I'm happy with the appliances we just purchased (Samsung front loading washer/dryer & Samsung fridge). HOWEVER, I'm EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with the lack there of customer service and follow through regarding delivery and management. My wife and I we're told that appliances would be delivered in the morning and that was great for us. The night before the scheduled delivery at 820pm I get a phone call (automated call) stating that our appliances are going to be delivered between 2-4pm (which is no good with getting kids from school and other work being done at the house). Spoke with the asst. store manager to be told that "you're mistaken" and that our employee who has been here for 6 years would have NOT told you a time for delivery. I had asked to have the store manager call me first thing in the morning (being that this was already after 9pm)....1st thing in the morning comes & goes and I had to call at 1035am to share my store with him. All is all this could have been avoided by having better communication, follow through & being upfront when products could have been delivered. Needless to say, we WON'T BE BACK!! read more

Went to self checkout today and tried to pay with my Samsung Pay, and associate said they didn't take this form of payment... what??? You just lost my business because Home Depot and basically every place I go to where I use my Debit/Credit card takes this form of payment. This store needs to catch up with technology. NEVERRRR AGAIN! (Is there a way to give them 1/10th of a star?) First, they up-sold me to a bigger oven whose oddly placed gas inlet won't fit any area home built more than 15 years ago! So clearly, their sales staff didn't get adequate training. Next, after selling me a "required" installation kit for $30, the installers didn't bring the right connections and/or tools to install the stove they brought! So they installed the stove FOUR INCHES FROM THE WALL! It stuck four inches into the kitchen! Out past the cabinets. That was fine with the installers. They left it like that (I wasn't on site, obviously.) Lowe's manager Rob Sottile wouldn't make his installers come out to make it right. (He graciously offered to have them move the stove away from the wall so a competent person could make it right.) I had to call a handyman and pay him to install it correctly. When I called Lowe's manager Rob Sottile requesting a refund of the totally botched and unusable installation, Sottile refused to take any responsibility for the botched job. Apparently, each consumer must know the pattern of changing gas inlets in Nevada. Rob Sottile would not give me even a partial refund--even though his store had collected money for an install that his people did that was laughably unusable and rendered the kitchen ugly in the extreme. My Lowes removed my name from my account and was showing up another name and would not give my veteran discount on the my lowes account that I have been using for years. The app clearly shows my name and purchases in the past. My phone number was also removed from their system with a veteran discount that I have used in the past. Stood there hot and sweating while employees didn't know what to do for too long and just left. Shows how little they actually care. read more

Ordered a patio set online. Confirmation e-mail States they would deliver between 10-12 am. Took off work to meet them. I received a call that they would be at my house between 12-0200. Then I received another call stating they would deliver between 0200-400, than called and said 4-600pm. Cancelled order for a refund. Four different times spanning the whole day !!! Hey Lowe's $&@" you ! You cost me money and wasted my time. Also cancelled my 5 ton A/C unit. That's $9200. Bam! And another $450 for the patio set- bam ! Yes that just happen ! This is because Lowe's does not manage the contracting companies. Whom ever manages this part of the company should be fired !! read more

Just had the most amazing experience! I came here to buy a portable A/C unit that I had placed on hold yesterday. Turns out they sold it right from under me before I could get there. Steve, the manager of the Seasonal Department was very apologetic and offered to locate another one for me. I informed him I had already been to 3 stores and noone had it which is why I placed one on hold and traveled the 30 minutes to his store. He then offered to sell me an upgraded model at the same price. I took his offer with great appreciation. Steve took a very difficult and stressful situation and turned it 180° to satisfy his customers. Thank you Lowe's for having employees like Steve. Because of him I will be a lifelong customer. read more

I love Lowe's! This is the place to go when you own or buy a house. I purchased my fridge, washer and dryer at this location. The staff are so knowledgeable and helpful. We, of course, went to three other types of retail stores pricing and shopping for these three items, but returned to Lowe's for their product and service. I wish there was more help around the lawn and flower section. We have a problem keeping our plants alive and I really wish I had better assistance picking them out. If you keep your receipt, the plants are guaranteed for one year. I have had good and mediocre experiences with the paint department. I have had one guy who treated me like I was an idiot and it was frustrating. I called the manager after the fact and felt like she addressed all of my issues. Every since that time, the paint section staff have mixed the paint and provided me with all of the products I needed for my paint jobs. They just have so much stuff! Love it there! read more

I came into Lowes for wood for my classroom. The staff here is so helpful. They instantly helped me get the plywood I needed. I initially wanted a thinner wood, but they assured me of a different thickness. I was even given tips on how to finish my project. Not to mention how helpful it was that they cut the wood and fit it to me crate. Thank you for helping to make this project so much easier for me! read more

As everyone knows proper lawn care and gardening can have its moments. Lowe's is always there to help out just when you are about to give up. My recent experience an associate actually went to his car and loaned me his personal tape measure to find out the length of pipe I needed for my project. I was under a lot of stress due to the fact that my back lawn was being flooded. I soon had the water off and then I found out I had purchase all the wrong sizes. So back I went to Lowe's embarrassed to boot. But they took it all back and I got the correct stuff, the young man offered to help, but I figured I could get it from this point. And I did. We stopped by this location since its close to my rental property. We found some nice laminate flooring at a discounted price along with some closet storage shelving. Pricing on base boards is double here than we found at a wood and trim place across town. The gentleman that helped us was very nice (I can't remember his name sorry) He gave us some numbers to call for installation quotes but we already have that covered. It's always nice to be able to save money (discontinued flooring) Lol. Today was good. No waiting around for help, in and out, DONE! read more

i went to them for flooring for a clients home. the lack of service from Christina was incredible. i could not ever reach her, left several messages for her to please get back to me with prices, etc, and finally got the information from her co worker Edwardo. he was very helpful, but it still took way longer than it should have. 4 weeks to get a estimate, and another 2 weeks to get it scheduled. so that was the first part of a bad experience. The install was a joke. the amount of wall dings, and just plane knocking the plaster off the walls was just ridiculous. All the walls had just been painted, and now had to be redone in many parts of the house, they used the clients bath mats to slide the furniture around, scratched the new flooring, used the new bathroom sink to was the grout, thus scratching the sink beyond repair, and leaving dirty stains on the pot which house the clients out door hose. When i tried to contact the flooring company I got no reply, when I contacted the store I got no reply. Clearly they just want the money, not to give customer service. I will, and have been sure to let all I come across know about the poor service, and install you provided. read more

I first came in to this Lowe's for a furniture painting project. The paint department chick was super helpful in setting me up with everything I needed. Unfortunately, the spray on polyurethane and I didn't get along as planned so back to Lowe's I went (without my receipt) hopeful for credit on the one unused can. They gave me full credit for both cans and a new no nonsense set up for a second attempt at painting. Awesome. read more

I hope I can give zero stars on this review. I ordered an outdoor kitchen modular system online as a special purchase. The first order went to Rancho Cordova in California where I was called to pick up in store. So I canceled that order and reordered to ensure that it would come to Las Vegas. Three weeks ago I got a call that the kitchen had come in but was damaged. This week I got a call that it was in and would be delivered. Yesterday I got an automated call that it was going to be delivered today. This morning I got a call that it was on backorder for 45 more days. So I called the store and talked to a person who said it showed to all be in the store. I was then transferred to two more people who finally said it was in but wouldn't be delivered until 10 pm tonight. So I opted to pick it up in the store. Now I have been sitting in the store for an hour with my outdoor kitchen in plain sight and they cannot figure out how to close the sale. I will NEVER EVER order anything from Lowes again. Finally was able to get my purchase and they did give me a discount so I will give them one star. read more
