I had a great experience at Lowe's. I stopped in looking for some home improvement items and was impressed by how organized and easy the store was to navigate. The aisles were clean, the products were well stocked, and there was a huge selection of tools, materials, plants, and household items. The employees were friendly and helpful when I needed assistance, and they made it easy to find what I was looking for. I also appreciate that Lowe's has so many options for both small projects and larger renovations. I ordered 2 different bags of landscaping rocks. Received email stating my order was ready for curbside pick up. I waited at curbside for 10 minutes before someone came out empty handed to tell me I had to drive around to the side of the garden center. I did so and well to cut to the chase. My order had not been picked. And only one of the bags was in stock. I said that I received an email that my order was ready for pick up. I was told the person who generates those emails just looks online to see if there is inventory. They don't actually pull the items until later. In that time the other rocks I wanted most likely had been sold. I had to go inside to cancel that order (they had no idea when it would be restocked) and get a refund. Of course waiting in line. Next time I found what I needed at Home Depot. I decided to return the one bag to Lowe's and get a refund. Again a long line at returns. Apparently no one bothered to mark that I picked up my order. I couldn't return an order I hadn't picked up. So that took more time. It is such bad customer service to tell me my order is ready when it isn't. Deeply Disappointed with Lowe's Carpet Installation and Service Pro I recently purchased carpet through Lowe's, which contracts their installation out to a company called Service Pros. While we are happy with the carpet itself and the padding, the installation process was an absolute nightmare, and I would never purchase carpet from Lowe's again because of it. The problems started the moment the installers arrived. They carried the carpet rolls inside with only one person, repeatedly scraping and damaging the paint on our walls. We politely asked them to use two people to avoid further damage, but we were told they were "not responsible for damage" and that "this is how they do it." They continued anyway. At one point, one installer even tried to rub a scuff mark off with a greasy rag, which left a very large grease stain on the wall. The next issue was even more concerning: we later discovered that none of the carpet padding seams had been taped, even though the padding itself clearly states that all seams must be taped. When we asked the installers about this, they told us they "weren't given tape." We tried for weeks to work with both Lowe's and Service Pro to get the situation resolved. Service Pro told us a representative would come inspect the installation. Instead, two members of the original installation crew showed up with three rolls of duct tape--no tools, no equipment, no furniture-moving capability, and no plan. We did not let them in, as this was not what we were promised and they were clearly not prepared to fix the job correctly. Since then, neither Lowe's nor Service Pro has stood behind the installation or taken responsibility for the damage to our home. We have repeatedly asked for a Service Pro manager to visit in person to explain how the carpet can be properly relaid without causing further damage, especially now that our furniture is in the house. The original installation happened before we moved in, so there were no obstacles at that time. Now, logistics matter--and both companies have demonstrated complete disregard for that fact. Between the physical damage to our walls, the incorrect installation, and the lack of accountability from both Lowe's and Service Pro, this has been one of the most frustrating home improvement experiences we've ever had. We love the product, but the service has been unacceptable from start to finish. I cannot recommend Lowe's carpet installation or Service Pro, and I strongly advise anyone considering them to proceed with caution. read more

If I could give this Lowe's a negative 50 stars I would! Here is my side before this billion dollar company pays to have this removed. Currently live in Hendersonville, TN which is a suburb of Nashville. We currently are having an ice storm of a generation in sub degrees weather plus me and my wife came down with the flu. So i went to Lowe's in Hendersonville and bought a $1100 generator, gas can and left. Got home, tried to start it and it wouldn't stay running after 2 hours of troubleshooting in sub degree temperatures . I then called Westinghouse and they troubleshooted but couldn't figure it out either. My wife then called Lowe's and they said no issue bring it back and they will do their best to help us since it's 7* degrees out. So we get to Lowe's and explained the situation that we just got the generator AND WERE TOLD BY BIG BAD ASSISTANT MANAGER SHEILA that there is nothing anyone can do since we put gas in it as she points to the return policy at the front desk, which was nowhere in sight or explained to us at the time of purchase. As a man who has worked in retail for over 30 years I completely understand the escalation process. Ask for the store manager info and was told " I'm the ASSISTANT MANAGER and I make ALL THE DECISIONS!". So I asked for the district managers info (WHICH I WAS ONE AT ONE POINT!!) and was told no I'm not giving you that info just call customer service which just closed 5 minutes ago. Let me remind you all of this is captured on CCTV, plus the return policy states that you have 48 hours to return the product if your not satisfied. To put salt in the wound, the manager to us that she was going home to a cold house too!!! Unreal, shame on Lowe's to hire someone with this poor customer service skills! I understand retail 2000%, but this low level of customer service is uncalled for especially when Tennessee is in a State or Emergency in sub degree temperatures, my wife is crying , I have the flu and left feel laughed at by the 5 staff members laughing at my wife CRYING because we have no power and were just trying to keep our family warm!!! Stay away from this place, you have been warned. Went in for a quick purchase today of some power tools and accessories. Had to ask for help since the tools were locked up. Tim was helpful once I got some attention. He retrieved the tools from a locked cage and then told me I couldn't keep shopping and he had to carry it to the register. He was polite but I didn't like it. A manager named Chad met me at these blocked doors. He justified the blocked exit by pointing to the Garden Center and the interior of the store, saying "...there are other exits available." He then told me some BS story about talking to the City of Hendersonville about locking this Emergency Exit. As far as I know, blocking an Emergency Exit is illegal. I ordered 2 gallons of deck stain on-line. I went by the paint department to pick it up and the young man said he thought it was at Customer service. Fine, gathered the other materials I needed and went to Customer Service. Both clerks we're busy, and there were 4 people in line. One clerk finished the return she was working and walked away. The other was calling every manager she could to deal with a customers return. None would respond. She finally had to pull in a Supervisor who happened to walk by. By this time the line waiting was out the door. I stood in line for 30+ minutes waiting to pick up my order and then I received notification the material was out of stock! Hours after I had placed the order. I decided I was done waiting so I cancelled my order and went to put all my other materials back on the shelf...trying to be nice. Guess what I found on the shelf. Drove 10 miles from the store and found that delivery would be made between 4-6. They did show up, but wouldn't remove the appliances I paid for. To bad you can not give them a ZERO . They charged me twice for an order I never picked up. When I placed this order that would be available for pick up in three hours I never heard anything. So when I called they told me they did not see an order even though when I called the phone system said my order was not ready for pick up yet. I explained this to them and they said just come up here. I informed them I would rather hold while they looked it up to see where the problem was than to wait in that line and they put me on hold for 20 mins and then hung up on me. I called back and they just let the phone ring until I hung up and called back and asked the system for a manager. That call too goes to customer service (what a joke to be called) and they ignored it and just let it ring. I drove up while the phone was ringing and waited until the manager came up YES WHILE the phone was still ringing. When she arrived she asked why no one was answering the phone and I spoke up because that it is me. While they processed to say I had no order I called their number again and let her hear that the phone system knows I do. No one cares here. Why are they still in business??? Home Depot is right down the road lets show them we will not stand for this poor service and literally just charging people for orders that first don't exist and then charge you twice for that order and even send you a nice email saying it was great to see you. I want to express my extreme disappointment with Lowes at Hendersonville, TN. Actually, the company as a whole has disappointed me. I realize many businesses are suffering now due to the "lack of employees" thanks to all the COVID-19 stuff. However, poor customer service is still not an excuse. We have spent several thousand dollars at this location in the past 45 days. I have made literally five separate trips just to get one simple order correct. I'm still not sure it is correct and I just got charged another $300. You can't reach anyone over the phone "that can handle order issues," because of "technical issues" with their phones. I got disconnected several times. I even got disconnected from their corporate office in North Carolina several times. If you are ordering blinds or having other items (such as fans installed), consider going elsewhere for better customer service and not experiencing mass confusion from their customer service department. If I did not have to go through the hassle of returning everything I have purchased over the past 45 days (washer, dryer, refrigerator, blinds for 14 windows, 3 ceiling fans plus deliveries and installations), I would definitely return everything and take my business and money we spent to a place that would appreciate it more and would be more attentive of getting my order and installations correct. I hate to make such a bad review, but my fifth trip to this store this afternoon was the straw that broke the camel's back. read more

Very displeased with my purchase and install of a microwave over range. At time of purchase, Lew Skeens, was happy to sell me a microwave assuring me it would fit in place over my range because they were all universal and would not need measurements. He sold me a particular one since he had it in stock and would not have to be ordered. After 3 days of not hearing from the Central Production Office to schedule the install, I called them. THEY reported there was really not one im stock like I was previously told at time of purchase, but was expecting one later today??? Several days later, they called and had already scheduled a time for install about 5 days later. I took the day off of work for the install. The installer came in and drilled 3 more large holes in my wall and cabinetry only to be informed, after that, the microwave would not fit! I went BACK to the store to pick out a different one to be installed on yet a different day only to be told they didn't have any to fit. I was to be refunded the microwave charge AND the installation. They only agreed to refund the installation charge because, the installer had not brought the microwave back yet. Is there such distrust of their Installation Team over a $199 microwave that I now have to sit here and wait for their Installer to return it? Very very disappointing purchase. I prefer the orange store but I always compare the two for items. I spend $10-20k yearly making improvements on homes I own with intentions to sell for a profit. I never compromise quality but I always compare and contrast both stores. There are some things that are the exact same that one may have less expensive than the other for the exact items. I'm this particular purchase I shopped both stores for insulation in a few different forms. I needed faces batts, rolls, and blown in. Lowe's has it cheaper. I work in the medical field and am a father with a busy schedule. I do this purely in my spare time. Because of this I often order online and pickup in store for no reason but time. However doing this at Lowe's actually costs more time. This isn't one online purchase, but many. This will be the last time however. Made a purchase of about $400 of insulation and misc items at about noon. Left my office and arrived at the store at 7PM. I had to grab a couple more items including a face mask/respirator. For 20 minutes I saw no one. Finally I asked the cashier who didn't understand what a face mask was. Finally I found where they're supposed to be just to find out they sold them all to a guy who was likely reselling them online at a profit due to the flu and corona virus outbreak. You're not going to limit a purchase to someone who is obviously a reseller? Finally I went to customer service to make my pickup order. $400 of insulation batts is hard to miss behind customer but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The girl acted like she had no way of looking up my order without the order number so I ad to hunt that down for her. Of course, she can't find it. Then proceeds to bash her colleagues for not doing their job. She then begins to radio and call for someone to pick my items. I've been there 45 minutes for a pickup order, I'm not going to sit there while someone who doesn't know the products walks around aimlessly looking for the items. I ended up cancelling the order and going to the orange store to make the same purchase. I've made 3 different online orders at Lowe's in the past few months and all ended in the same result. A cancelled order. Also, The orange store Had signage on the face masks limiting purchases to 10. This was the last opportunity I will give them. This is for future consumers! I went to the Lowe's store in Hendersonville, TN on 6/13/21 and found a lamp(806923) on clearance which I purchased. I needed another one and my sister wanted two and the young lady helping me told me she could have it put on hold at the Madison, TN store because they had 6. She was suppose to call me and let me know it was on hold and did not. I called the Madison store explained the situation and was told my lamps would be on hold and waiting. I drove all the way over there to be told by the store manager ( lady working on 6/15/21 around 4:15 p.m.) we can not honor the price given to you at the Hendersonville store because they are not in our district and we do not have this item on clearance. I would a consumer know this when an employee did not! I called the Hendersonville store and asked for the manager waited for them for 20 minutes and got hung up on. Called back asked for a manager again spoke to Grace and Annie. I explain to the manager what happened and she responded by saying she did not understand why they would not honor the price when they do it all of the time and that I should call customer service. I have tried on 6/14/21 and 6/15/21 to speak with someone at Lowe's customer service department waited on hold both days for over 30 minutes. If you are contemplating becoming an investor or consumer with this company this is how they treat their customers. I even have a Lowe's credit card that I use often ( not anymore) and my purchase, time, and money does not matter. PLEASE reconsider and shop somewhere where they know consumer laws and follow them as well as know the true meaning of customer service. read more

I ordered my front and back doors in October 2018 and didn't get them installed until January 2019 due to "the holidays" they said . And right after the doors had been instantly, there are chip paints everywhere on my black front door . And st is wrong with my front doors lock that it wouldn't lock unless I push my door in . My back doors had missing screw caps and came to find out , they were in a bag on my counter . Clearly, the installer didn't even finish the door but left anyways . I immediately contacted them about the issues, someone named Bryan came out and took pictures . He tried to put in the screw caps for the back door and they were too big to fit . Weeks later, another guy came to "fix" to doors but the chip paints had never been fixed . Weeks later, the manager of Lowe's and his crew came to look at my doors again and said someone will contact me a few days later . 2 weeks later, nothing . I called them again and again and finally got to talk to the manager, Matt. He told me that HE THOUGHt THEY ALREADY ToOK CARE OF THE PROBLEM. Just spent weeks on what should have been a one day project. Bought some wood and paid to have to have it cut in order to build some shelves. Chris, the guy who cut the wood, seemed irritated that he had to do his job. He measured all of the wood at once. When I asked him about waste, he said that he had allowed for it and everything would be fine. Got home and was short 5 pieces of wood. Had 98 pieces cut, EVERY piece of wood was wrong. Had to go back and get more wood cut, had to sand 98 pieces of wood that were between 1/8" to 1/4" wrong. Everyone at the professional desk is nice and there's a guy from NY in plumbing who helps every time we shop. Will keep going to this Lowe's because of those helpful people. read more

And still no changes from my review almost a year ago. We were looking for a custom made roller shade and we picked up several books/catalogs from the shelves. The salesperson didn't even talk to us to check if we need anything. Instead she was even throwing empty boxes next to us where she had her cart parked. It was very rude to just ignore a customer assuming we need options and estimate. Don't ever come here to inquire or buy anything that needs to be customized. People here are lazy, and rude and very unhelpful. Unless what you're buying is readily available on the shelf. Go to Lowe's in Gallatin instead. Salespeople May be young but very helpful. Within a second of coming to the blinds there was somebody in the counter willing to help. And we actually bought some beautiful custom made blackout roller shades for our bonus room in Gallatin Lowe's, it will be delivered to us in 2 weeks. Avoid this place at all costs. EXTREMELY disappointed with the Lowe's Protection Plan I purchaed with my riding lawn mowers. Buyer beware, it doesn't cover what they say it will cover. Have them define "normal wear and tear." My mower will not move forward or backward and I was told it needed a new belt and spring. Those are "maintenance items" and therefore not covered. However, the belt is not something I can replace on my own... and they don't cover the labor it will take to have it installed. Their maintenance "reimbursement" plan will only cover maintenance items purchased at Lowe's. So if I can't replace the spark plugs, oil, filter, etc. and have someone do it for me, they won't reimburse the 35%. I've purchased all of my appliances from Lowes... never again. Working on a big project for the past couple of months I've found that this location isn't very good at keeping up their inventory of lumber. On several occasions they've been completely out of 2x6s and 4x4s in the lengths I needed. Also, in the lumber area it's like a ghost town when it comes to finding an employee. Those times when they didn't have the lumber I needed I had to walk either to the appliance area or cash registers to find someone to see if they had more supply out back. Most of my visits recently have been on Saturday mornings and usually there is a young lady named Sam working the register by the pro desk. I don't know if her boss treats her bad or she just has a bad attitude but sometimes it is clear she doesn't want to be there. On my last visit she didn't say a single word during my entire transaction. When I asked for a bag for my two boxes of nails she grabbed them angrily and tossed them in the bag. I thanked her and said "Have a good day" but she didn't reply. Again, I don't know if it was just a bad morning or what. I've been going to this Lowes over 10 years and half the times I go there's usually something I can't find because they're out of it or they don't carry it. And not just lumber, also in the garden center and other departments. Thankfully there is a Home Depot about a half mile up the road. This helps when one place is out of something, although it's an inconvenience having to make an extra trip. read more

Told the supervisor up front at the check out area how sad it is when the paint department has 3 people and not one could come from behind the counter to help me when they could tell I could not find it. Said I would try Home Depot maybe someone will help me there...I got a laugh!! Wow what service. I use Lowe's for my home and business but now they care about as much as the Lowe's in West Nashville. I guess I will use Home Depot on this side of town too just like West Nashville. I get great service at Home Depot there. read more

have NEVER been more frustrated with a company in my entire life. We placed a rather large order online with Lowes to remodel our master bathroom. We have had nothing but issues with this order. From missing pieces and lost in-store pickup items (which we spent 2 1/2 hours in Lowes trying to get straightened out) to shipping us the wrong items and NOW when we opened the shower kit the back wall is broken. It will be 2 weeks before Lowes has it replaced. We have had horrible customer service through this entire experience. I will NEVER set foot in a Lowes again after this experience. read more
