I went to Lowe's in Hilliard again for some paint. Bryan K. was working in the paint center all by himself and he masterfully waited on 3 customers simultaneously, including me. He went above and beyond to ensure all of my questions were answered. He provided the same high level customer service to the other two customers as well. One customer was waiting patiently while a bucket of paint was being mixed or stirred in a high powered machine. Another customer was asking question about the various types of paint and trying to select the perfect color. I was there to get a sample of floor paint. Bryan has years of experience and endless knowledge and it shows! Somehow he even managed to get all 3 customers, including me, to briefly chat with one another. That's not the norm for me. I actually enjoyed this experience. Bryan answered all of my questions and even prepared a color sample that he painted on a wooden stirring stick. He hand wrote the brand of paint and color information on the stick in case I returned to purchase in the coming days. He also answered all of my questions regarding paint removers. I had never met Bryan before, but I will definitely seek him out if I return to Lowe's in Hilliard. I had passed several other associates that treated me as if I was invisible, but Bryan was able to turn my experience around and I couldn't be happier. I've said it before and I'll say it again - great customer service is just as important, if not more important, to me as the product or service I am browsing or purchasing.

Solid Lowe's location. Very popular/crowded. Still easy parking and good selection. Clean and organized from what we saw. Just needed one item and the employees were helpful in showing us its location.

Now in our 2nd bathroom remodel since quarantine Lowe's has been essential to meet our renovation needs. We have purchased everything but the flooring from here - toilets, vanity, faucets, blinds, accessories and even paint. We had shopped at other home goods stores but ultimately decided on Lowe's based on quality of goods, affordable price points & knowledge, friendly staff.

This place needs employees that speak to customers and a baby changing station in the men's bathroom ASAP!

This review isn't so much for Lowe's as a big box hardware store as it is for the "Build and Grow" program.

THE KLËARVŪE "PREMIUM" TRAP: Flimsy Construction, Fake Engineering, and Delivery Nightmares…read more Do not be fooled by the glossy showroom displays or the higher price tag. My wife and I bought a full kitchen layout of Klëarvūe Cabinets from Menards, assuming that the finished white interiors meant a premium product. It is a complete marketing scam. The overall structural quality of this product severely sucks, and the delivery process is an insulting, back-breaking nightmare. Here are the hard, undeniable facts you need to know before you spend a single dollar on this junk: 1. The Flimsy "Wallpaper" Construction & Structural Defects: These cabinets are built from very low-grade, low-density particleboard covered in a thin, laminate that looks and feels like cheap wallpaper. Out of the box, panels are already arriving crushed, split, and chipped along the edges. The backs of the base cabinets are essentially dust covers--just two thin vertical particleboard strips with a massive open gap in the middle. There is zero metal or solid wood reinforcement. If you have an older home like our 120-year-old historic house, your wall studs will never align with their weak edge strips. Standard installation is a myth; you will have to custom-build your own internal solid wood ledger boards just to securely hang the uppers and anchor the base units. 2. The Absurd "Kitchen Sink" Engineering Shortcut: The ultimate insult came when we unboxed the kitchen sink base. Klëarvūe doesn't even engineering-design or manufacture a dedicated farmhouse/apron sink base cabinet. Instead, they expect you to take a 30"x20" deep wall cabinet (Model: S-TQ-3020B), flip it horizontally on its side, and slap adjustable legs onto the bottom of it. Because a wall cabinet is completely enclosed and unreinforced for heavy loads, you are forced to cut your own plumbing holes into the backing and custom-build an extensive interior 2x4 support framework from scratch. Without doing this intensive DIY carpentry, a water-filled sink will easily cause the particleboard walls to bow, fail, and potentially collapse. 3. 70% Initial Damage Rate & Hostile Delivery Tactics: A staggering 70% of our original delivery arrived Broken/Damaged inside the freight boxes. To make matters worse, Menards blocks you from inspecting the cargo at time of delivery. Their third-party drivers are trained to rush away without providing proper signed paperwork, leaving you trapped with destroyed goods. 4. Abysmal Service: They Left the Heavy Lifting and Garbage to Us: When the replacement units finally arrived despite originally paying Menards for inside-the-home delivery, the store forced us to drag all the heavy, damaged cabinets out onto our porch ourselves, claiming the driver would not step foot inside the house to execute the return items Furthermore, Menards flat-out refused to haul away the immense mountain of cardboard packaging debris left behind from over 18 cabinets. This left my wife and me with an unexpected, exhausting chore: breaking down massive piles of shredded freight boxes and hauling them ourselves to our city's recycling program. Final Verdict: Menards has zero quality control, deceptive design shortcuts, and atrocious customer service. They charge premium prices for structural garbage and force the consumer to do all the heavy lifting, cleanup, and structural rebuilding. Save your money, save your back, and buy your cabinets from a reputable company that stands behind their product.

The moment he walked into Home Depot, an employee immediately looked him up and down and asked if he needed help. He politely said no and headed toward the plywood section. Since he was only grabbing a few things, he didn't take a cart at first. The same employee approached him again insisting he should get one. My husband again said "No thanks." From that point on, the employee proceeded to follow him throughout the store, standing at the ends of aisles watching him as he shopped. Feeling uncomfortable, my husband bounced between sections before finally grabbing a cart. He then went into the garden section and briefly left his cart outside the doors while picking up a few plants. When he came back, the employee was actively inspecting the contents of his cart. At this point my husband called me because he felt so uncomfortable and targeted that he wanted to leave the store altogether. I told him to just check out through garden to avoid the employee, so he did. He paid in full, completed his transaction, and thought the situation was over. Instead, while loading his purchases into his car, the same employee followed him outside and accused him of stealing. My husband, embarrassed and cornered, felt he had no choice but to show his receipt and prove every item had been paid for. We shop at this location almost weekly. We recently purchased all of our appliances from this store. To be treated this way as paying customers is beyond unacceptable. Following someone around the store, watching their every move, inspecting their cart, and then confronting them outside after they've already paid is vile behavior. Home Depot has loss prevention staff for a reason. Employees should not be acting like self-appointed anti-theft vigilantes while harassing innocent customers trying to shop. This experience was humiliating, unnecessary, and completely unacceptable.
