This is my 3rd Yelp review of my dissatisfaction with Lowe's service. I ordered and paid a $69 delivery fee for 25 bags of mulch on 4/10/26, and only 20 bags were delivered. I have reached out to Lowe's on several different dates(4/11-4/18- 4/23- 4/25) with no resolution. Each time, I was assured that this situation would be expedited. My question is, what is the time frame for Lowe's expediting a problem? Another question: could I make a purchase and be $10 short and still receive the number of items? The service was friendly, we were approached and asked what he needed and they helped us get to exactly what we needed. They have plenty of items that we needed so that was amazing too! Overall we got what we needed at a decent price and was able to make our trip quick! read more

I purchased a washer and dryer and used Lowes to deliver to my daughters house. They gave us a 1:30 to 5:30 delivery window. We called at 5:30 to find where they were. I drove to the store , all they could say is your the next delivery. But couldn't contact the 3rd party delivery people. They showed up after 6:30 but they manipulated the system to show they arrived at 5:30! Poor communication . They need to employ their own delivery drivers so they can hold them accountable. We didn't appreciate being unable to go to the store, walk the dog or leave the house for 5-6 hours. read more

I purchased an LG brand washer and dryer on Friday, April 24, 2026 from the Lowes located in Brownsburg, IN. They promised delivery and installation on Sunday, April 26. However, the third party they used for delivery and installation hired two people, one of which spoke no English and the other needed a phone to serve as a translator. When attempting to connect the flexible vent hose from the dryer to the wall inlet, they inadvertently pulled apart part of the duct vent making it impossible to make a connection. They attempted to effect a repair by using pliers to pull at the section of duct behind the drywall only to damage it further. I made a claim through Lowes third party administrator, Spirit Logistics Network, who denied my claim because it would cost me more money to litigate than the cost of the repair. They refused to take responsibility for the damage caused by their contractor. read more

This is a nice Lowe's store right next-door to the Walmart. It went through renovation not all that long ago so the building is in pretty great shape. It's very open has a great selection so much to choose from. I wasn't able to find what I was looking for, but I did have a couple very nice staff members ask if they could help me find it and, help me to look for it. Prices are pretty good compared to a lot of places. They have many areas in the Lowe's. They have an indoor lumberyard which has been very helpful to me in the past. Have lots of options and a good supply. In addition during the spring and summer months, they have a really nice garden center with so much to choose from. I've gotten so many things here. Plants tools, stones, and mulch. It's really nice because during their open hours, you can go directly into the garden center get what you need and then get out without having to go through the store. Same thing with the indoor lumberyard you can go in on the lumber side, what you need and come straight out without having to walk through a store. read more

This is our go-to home improvement store, I like the selections they have in store. We got our deck paint from this location, and the employee that helped us was nice, accommodating, and helpful. She gave us a rundown of each color and what would work best for our deck. I prefer to shop at this location because of the employees and customer service. read more

It's the Walmart of home, improvement stores. They're either out of stock, or don't have enough of whatever you need and they're constantly moving things around the store so that you have no idea where to find them read more

I love this locations plant selection. They get quality stuff frequently. As a plant person I come here regularly just to see what's new. They have Costa Farms as all Lowes do as well as Urban Jungle and a few other suppliers at times read more

I do construction. Done it for years and across a few ventures. I LOVE Lowe's!!! So much stuff nearly everything you need. Don't forget you can buy direct on line from say ... Dewalt. But you can't put your hands on it or decide if it's what you need given your problem . This location is right off 465 pick stuff up on the way. Most employers can tell you what Isle what you want is on. The reason I love Lowe's best is TOOLS. I'm Tim the tool man and I like the good stuff. A little shabbier than your average Lowes but I'm still celebrating the clearance section in household plants! Upon arriving at this location I was concerned I wouldn't find a plentiful stash of the palms and gagging plants I was looking for. However, once I stepped inside I found an even better deal! Indoor palms on sale for FIVE dollars! They're typically $15-$25. Jackpot! Needless to say, I bought more than I should have. It wasn't quite the season for outdoor plants so I can't speak for their selection and quality there. The woman in the plants department was very helpful and knowledgeable. You could tell she really cared about her work. This is a good reminder to never judge a book by its cover. Maybe the ugliest Lowes are home to the best deals? read more

I placed a pickup order 5 hours before arriving to the Lowe's in beech grove, i received an email saying my order was ready for pick up. When I arrived it was not ready and I ended up walking around for over 30 minutes until my order was finally ready. (I know this because I called a loved one while waiting) I kept asking associates if I could grab the items myself, but kept being told I could not do that and someone was actively getting my order ready... so I stood by the wood I had ordered, 25 minutes later I see a Lowe's associate start stacking the same wood. It was my order and I had been lied to by their associates, terrible customer service! What's the point in pick up if your associates don't value the process?? Why send me an email saying my order was ready when no one had done anything? I won't be ordering anything from here again. read more

First impression: carts all over the parking lot, piled up all around the full cart returns. Inside: three people asked me if I worked there, looking for help. (No, I wasn't wearing a red vest. There were just no employees anywhere except at the key stand and the cashiers.) Selection: standard. Good luck if you want a lot of choice, or something specific. Garden center: graveyard. No one anywhere within miles. No flat carts for large items. Half the items weren't priced, and we couldn't find a price checker anywhere. I saved a couple of small plants, bought the trellises I needed, and we got the hell out of there. read more

I see a lot of complaints, I have never had an issue with them. I have always found someone to help me when I need it. And I appreciate them being open during the Corona. I deem them very useful during this time. I also appreciate that they have a military and veteran discount and designated paring for veterans. Menards does nothing for the veterans. read more

We spent approximately $3000 for a new solid surface countertop. The countertop was to be coved all around. On the counter top was installed it was only coved across the back. Separate pieces were put in on the sides quite sloppily. The coving looked like a gash across the countertop. I went into Lowe's the next day, a Friday, the gentleman who had taken care of the order was not going to be in until one, so I emailed him pictures of the installation and asked that he call me. At 4 o'clock I called him. He said that he had a call out to the installer and they would be out either Monday or Tuesday to look at it. Monday afternoon I received an email saying that the installer would call me in a few days to set up an appointment to come look at it. Which to me means the Lowe's is just dump the whole thing on the installer and is washing their hands of it, even though I paid them. read more

I frequent this Lowes. It's clean and everyone whom I have come in contact with has always been friendly.

I will intentionally drive passed this location and go to the Home Depot or Menards in Southport Rd from now on. Stock is limited, the building materials are less than stellar (picking through 2x4s gets extremely old), trying to get a larger order for deck materials was an absolute headache, they no longer have an order I placed in their system for some simple trim ($450+) and I've gotten a run around about it. Will no longer be using this location or potentially any Lowe's. read more

I am appalled that any hardware store would deem themselves essential business at this time. The general public needs to stay home. Any supplies your corporation feels are necessary to assist healthcare workers can always be arranged via supply chain management. I feel no excuse is valid and I am very disappointed that you justify your need at this time. read more

Lowe's seems dedicated to home improvement and not grocery items. Someone is always willing to answer whatever question pops in my head each time I walk in this store. The tornado of ideas in my head are brought back to reality by the knowledgeable employees. A plus team here. read more

Would definitely recommend looking another way if you are searching for good customer service (in the lumber department at least). We went yesterday to get wood for a DIY bedside table, and it wasn't a good experience. We found all the wood ourselves and hung out around the wood cutter because we needed pieces cut. We asked an employee that we had seen cutting wood for another customer earlier if he was the guy to ask about cutting wood and he said "Nope, I hate cutting wood. You're going to have to ask a manager if you want that much wood cut" and just walked away from us! For the next 10-15 I walked around looking for someone else to help us and it was a ghost town! I finally had the checkout lady phone over the intercom for someone to come to the wood cutter because assistance was needed. A younger guy met me there 5 minutes later and was not hiding his ABSOLUTE DISDAIN for helping us with our wood cutting needs. It was so uncomfortable and unprofessional. The entire lumber department (or lack thereof) was a real disappointment. If you hate cutting lumber so much don't work at a store that advertises free wood cutting!! I will give this store 2 stars solely because a nice man (not in the lumber department) helped my boyfriend find the wood glue. Will definitely be seeking out a different store from now on. read more

Lowe's is growing on me, about to replace my hankering for Menards. It is definitely more organized and has less random junk than Menards carries. I was not too terribly impressed with their flower selection, but the rest of their plants were super nice and a good selection. The people who work here are always friendly and everywhere. The other bonus to this particular Lowe's right next door is Egg Roll #1. Grab some faucet fixtures and a few 2x4's then head over for some awesome pho. read more

Rude employee in plumbing, kept telling me to go to Ace for orings....guess this was the last straw for these rude and unhelpful people...the lumber area isnt much better! No more lowes for me! read more
