Supervisor or dept. mngr, ADAN, assisted her and allowed me to harass him in front of his Boss the Store Manager DAVID. GREAT CREW at this store!! My carpet installation for two bedrooms took more than seven weeks to complete. Timeline 11/5/25: Two bedrooms in our condo were measured for carpet by Lowe's. 11/6: We selected carpet and padding at Lowes Lake Park FL and placed an order. The carpet was listed as "in stock." 11/8: Email from Lowe's citing installation rescheduled to 11/11/25. 11/12: Installation was rescheduled to 11/15/15. Reason: not enough carpet was available from Lowe's of Lake Park FL. 11/15 (Sat): 3rd party installation team arrives. After removing the existing carpet from one bedroom the installer lead technician determined that the quantity of carpet was insufficient to cover the two bedrooms. He told us that the carpet would need to be reordered in full due to dye lot matching consideration. He reported this to Lowe's 3rd party installer company. 11/17 (Mon): I contacted the Lowes IST (Installation Support Team) who acknowledged that the wrong amount of carpet had been ordered - a Lowes error and mishap - and that the replacement carpet had not yet been ordered. The IST representative told me that they would call me every three business days to update the replacement order status. 11/18-11/26: IST representatives contacted me twice and informed me that the carpet had not been re-ordered and that they would address the issue with Lowes Lake Park FL. Each time no reason given as to why the reorder remained in limbo. 11/26: I spoke with yet another IST rep and said that I would stay on the phone until someone assured me that the carpet was in fact ordered. After a succession of waiting times and hand-offs, I was told that the original order needed to be cancelled, and I was asked for my Lowe's credit card number, expiration date, and security code. Of course I provided this info. Observation: If this was the administrative cause of the ongoing delays, then why did the IST representative(s) fail to drill down to the cause of the delay? Since IST does not install carpet then one would expect that something as straightforward as rectifying a wrong quantity order would be in their bailiwick. 11/26/25: We received confirmation of a new order (i.e., the replacement order). 12/18: email from Lowe's: "it's time for your installation appointment". However, no one contacted my FL representative to gain entry to the gated condo. 12/22: email from Lowe's: "Your Installation Appointment Has Been Rescheduled." 12/24: email from Lowe's: "Great News... Your Installation is complete." During my interactions with Lowe's IST, I expressed my dissatisfaction. One rep suggested that I could call the IST after the installation completion and ask for "compensation." 1/9/26: I contacted Lowe's IST and asked to discuss "compensation" for this poorly executed order fulfillment, one which delayed the re-rental of our condo. 1/13/26: An IST manager called me. She said that her notes indicated that I had asked for a 10% compensation. I replied that I had not asked for a specific amount and that I wanted to discuss the lengthy order fulfillment. She told me that the installation contract committed to an installation completion by 1/20/2026 and that the contract had been met. I said, 'forget the contract' and asked if she would be taking corrective action on the errors and lack of problem solving that led to the seven plus week process. She said that she would only discuss the contract. My Summary Lowe's is fine if nothing goes wrong. However, when something goes awry, basic problem solving and accountability are lacking. read more

After dealing with customer service on the phone I did have to update that the lady's at the counter in the store were very helpful in getting the installation fee refund. It does seem the store is at the contractors mercy when it comes to getting installs scheduled in a timely manner. read more

Lowe's is a regrettable shopping experience. The only reason I went there was to buy Craftsman hand tools but it wasn't worth it. Shop Home Depot the product is a lot better and staff actually know what a hammer is used for. read more

We are at the end of a nightmare week of trying to purchase a new washer/dryer. We purchased the floor model for a discount which looked perfect- easy right? Nope. We had to wait 3 days for the first delivery window. That delivery was cancelled because the store never communicated with the driver that they were to be transporting the floor model so when they were loading up they couldn't locate our stuff. Appt rescheduled for the next day. W/D delivered and installed. They left & with the first load we tried to run, water starts gushing from underneath. We have to wait another TWO days for a repair appt. That was today. After getting the confirmation text with our window we waited all day. No one ever showed up. Spent an hour trying to call the store only to be hung up on multiple times after waiting on hold for a crazy amount of time. I can't even say it's just this store that is bad. Lowe's is just terrible. Ordered the matching pedestals online because they were out of stock in the store. The first set arrived dented and damaged. We refused delivery. Had to wait another day for a new set to be delivered and installed. Had to call Lowe's corporate and even they couldn't get in touch with the store today. Corporate offered to reschedule the repair but we'd have to wait another 4 days for an appointment. I said no thank you and scheduled everything to be picked up for a refund. Already located a new W/D set at BrandSmart that I will pick up tomorrow. The customer service and logistics at Lowe's is seriously broken. Skip them and save yourself the headache. read more

First time is a Lowes store. Came to buy a significant amount of costly appliances. A very friendly store employee said: "Sorry sir, we don't have anyone in appliances today." On a positive note, the three people I encountered at the store were very courteous. Worst customer service experience ever! After 6 weeks of waiting for a prehung door to be delivered, I was told to contact the manufacturer. It was deemed lost, and took them another week to reorder. It was expedited by the manufacturer, but Lowe's set it for pickup, instead of delivery as originally ordered. No notifications, 0 communication, and absolutely no care, urgency, or concern from Lowe's. I called when the door arrived at the store (thanks again to the manufacturer who notified me of the delivery date) and was told to come pick up. Waited 40 minutes for some to acknowledge me and go investigate where my door was before bringing it out. All and all, 8 weeks of waiting, phone calls, emails, project delays, frustration... all for a single prehung interior door. A truly abysmal experience! Avoid this store at all costs! read more

They really have just the worst customer service. They act like they're on the defensive if you try to make a return. They've updated their policy recently and you can't even get store credit for something that's stocked on the shelf in original unopened package if you don't have a receipt or the credit card you used. Normally i am happy with Lowes in lake part fl#720, but this may have been the last time i order anything from Lowes. To start with on 3/5 I went to the tool department in lowes lake park to purchase a cable cutter, the employee told me not in stock which is common for lake park, I told him Pompano beach most likely would have in stock but he never even offered to check it out and have it sent up to lake Park. So the next day i check the item in the pompano store and it was in stock so i called the main lowes numbe the guy i spoke to did not know if the pompano store coud sent it up to lake park so it put me on hold for about 10 minutes maybe less came back and said NO. SoI then I call lake park and ordered the part, I was told 5 day delivery on 3/11. On 3/11 I checked my email several tiimes and only got NOTHING, CALLED THE STORE AND WAS TOLD " ON IT'S WAY" whicjh does not help me at all. On it's way could be tomorrow or 5 days from now. Finally late afternoon i call #7290 and my first call was on hold afor about 20 minutes then someone from flooring picked up. So i gave up called back and was put on hold again. This time after about 10-15 minutes someone picked up and said they had mad an error and i was being charged for a box of the item i ordered even though i ordered on one. when i exoplaned thet to the girl in a rather nasty voice she hung, ended up it took me 50 minutes and 5 calls to get someone to tell me it was on the dock sdelived by fed x. She made arrangements for me to pick the item up the next morning at 6 . When i got up at 4 this morning I checked my email to see if the had been received, the item in thier system it still showed in tranisit, so i wait until 6 and called the store I was told it was still in transit so i had to explain to the lady that that was incorrect so she checked and found out it was a locked box at customer service i told her i would be there a t 7 to pick it up. I got there a 655 and had to while the girl loaded cash into her register and then another lady took me t another area and using my cell phone she unlocked the lock box and gave me my tool. All this too k about 20 minutes I figured that being i had already talk to someone and told them i would be there at 7 they would have the order ready for me at the desk, but that is not what happened. So based on the entire process of purchasing one tool i have deided I wiill never order anything from store #720 again. I feel the service starting with the tool associate was poorly handled and i hate when a company does not give me good service and in this case it was not good from start to fineish The girl that placed the order for me was the same girl that was able to locate the item in receiving, she was the only person in the entire process that did the job well enough to earn the title."she is a keeper". I can't remember her name other than it started with a T and ended in ha. She was the only person who seemed to know what was going on oin the store. At this point ace and home depot are being consider for my future business. I do a lot of business with Lowes and have spent over $3000 in the past 4 months. Lowes is the worst store ever. Three different Lowes told me three different things. I had my order canceled by them twice... I went in to order a door, and they advised me to order it online and have it delivered. So I did that. A few days later, a Lowes in Lake Park called me and said they wouldn't deliver it because they have a 50 mile range, and they were 62 miles away. So they canceled it and told me that this store in Vero should have ordered it and had it sent to their store. So I go to the Vero store again in person and speak to customer service. They did actually try to help me this time, and the man went out of his way to go to the back and look online. They finally came to a solution to outsource it and have it delivered from another Lowes. I paid in person? They took my money immediately. And yesterday I had confirmation that they were delivering the door from the other Lowes. This morning I get a call from aLowes in Sebring, which is apparently 90 miles away.... and they said they can't deliver to me for obvious reasons, I guess? I'm getting the run around. The guy from the Sebring Lowes said that they could and should have ordered it from my store, and that the Lake Park people should have delivered it and that the range is 70 miles, not 50. I call and try to speak with the Lake Park Lowes, and I'm on hold for almost 20 minutes. They picked up and just put me on hold. Now I'm out $600.00 and told I have to wait 7-14 business days for that back?! Are you kidding me?! I'm beyond angry, and can't afford to just not have $600! I HATE this company. read more

This location is set back off Northlake Blvd with an address on Congress Ave. The home improvement store is known of selling hardware, garden supplies painting mix services, appliances, and many other household products & services. Prior to writing this review, I had read some of the reviews and many of them were quite negative. I have shopped and have only experienced garden supply department. This particular location is a big box store with employees who make me feel like I'm in a mom & pop specialty store. The staff is knowledgeable, responsive and friendly - and I mean friendly to the point of remembering me from visit to visit. From appliances (delivered within 24 hours) to paint, mouldings, lighting and the great garden center, the selections are vast and suit my needs. I choose to shop at this store whenever possible and definitely prefer Lowe's to the competition down the street. read more

The Lowe's on Congress had the best gardening center in the area for flowers. The prices increased dramatically during Covid, but have started to return somewhat to normal, except trellises, which skyrocketed. Shop at Meyers for landscaping plants and stone and sod. Home Depot around corner has different varieties of plants than Lowes. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE- take the time to read because this is so unacceptable: I ordered a pendant light online and it arrived shattered. I decided to take it back to my local Lowes which is 30min from my house in order to avoid the shipping hassle. When doing the return, I point out to the salesperson that during my online order, there was a promo for $50 off $250 or more and that discount was split among my purchase so approx $6 was credited toward this pendant. Before he completed the return I expressed that that discount should (obviously) be applied toward this replacement pendant. So he finished the transaction reassuring me. When he went to reorder, he tried to charge me shipping and no discount! However, the damaged pendant is MY INCONVENIENCE and I'm having to pay MORE!?!? So I had them call the store manager. After 30 minutes of explaining and trying to find a solution, including me calling customer care over the phone, they decided to transfer one from a nearby store (they didn't have it of course) and then I could pick it up. But I live 30 minutes away which is why I shopped online to begin with so I tell them they must ship it to me, I can't drive an hour again for this. They agree to ship it and cover the charge so it ends up even. Fast forward 6+ weeks: no pendant. I call- someone picks up after approx 20 rings. They are able to look up the purchase and tell me I must speak with Delivery and transfer me (at my work, we would've spoken to Delivery for them and called back or something). This is about 30min into my call and I get disconnected. A week later I decide to try again and AGAIN- the phone rings at least 20 times before Customer Service answers. What happened to at least answering and then putting someone on hold!? AGAIN the girl transfers me around, is of no help to me. Never get another person after that during my 15 min of ringing and transferring. So I call back and request a store manager- it rings about 40 times before I hang up. I then try the 1-800 number and she puts me on hold for 15 minutes before I finally give up. What the HECK happened to customer service!?!? It wasn't MY fault that the pendant arrived shattered. I shouldn't be charged extra- that's obvious. When reordered, my pendant should ARRIVE. Within a MONTH. I still don't have any idea where my order or $80 is. I can't get ahold of anyone within the company that's helpful. I will never shop at Lowes again and I highly recommend you think twice about paying a few extra dollars elsewhere for better service. I expect a response from the store because unless I go in there, very disgruntled, I don't see how I'm going to resolve this over the phone. At least 3 hours of my life has been wasted on this. Horrible customer service from Lowes Tampa Palms . Went in and bought a Washer, Dryer and Dishwasher. Washer was delivered but not working. When I called I spoke with some who said that they would send me another one . I asked for a compensation but was told that I had to take delivery of the exchange first. When I received the exchange , I called the store to find out about the compensation. Then every time I called I was on hold for over 45 minutes .Went to the store and they offered $25 and was told they are really not supposed to do this .They never put the money back to my credit card called to follow up again and was put on hold for over 10 minutes every time . If I could give a negative star review, I would. NEVER use this place. Customer service is the worst we've ever experienced. Purchased a washer and dryer to be delivered. 18 days later they couldn't find a dryer for our order. We received a phone call the night before delivery that said there was a problem and then we got cut off. We immediately called the number back and were put on hold for over 20 minutes. Thought we were in some loop that they never get back to so we hung up and called again. On hold for 12 minutes and then they picked up the phone and hung up. This morning we called again for the 3rd time and were told we would have to go to the store and cancel the order--what??. We went to the store and the "head cashier/manager" told us she was the manager and would have to call the Boynton Beach Store for some reason and cancel our order. She dialed some numbers, immediately pretended to speak to somebody on the other end and then told us it was cancelled. The refund still has not appeared on our account and we just got a call from the delivery service stating that they just wanted to give us a heads up that they were still looking for a dryer for our order. I told him it was cancelled and he said it didn't show that it was cancelled and I needed to call the store. What a joke--laziest, worthless employees we've ever dealt with at the Lowe's in Lake Park, FL. We went to Home Depot and got what we wanted--even at a better price. Stay away from Lowes. read more

Bought a Freezer as a gift for our daughter & son in law on November 25. Arranged for delivery for Saturday, December 23 8-12 am the day we purchased. Two days before delivery, I learned there was a complication with the delivery. So why do I give them four stars? Because of Alfred on of the store managers! He jump through hoops to make it right. The delivery was delayed but it got there. Alfred went to extraordinary measures to make sure that this Christmas gift was delivered as promised. Yes, people make mistakes and sometimes Because They don't care who it inconveniences. So I hold the underlings responsible for this potential Christmas disappointment. But Alfred who was kind, compassionate, and went out of his way to make sure the freezer got to its proper destination stuck with it! Thank you Alfred! WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! We purchased a brand new sliding glass door for $6,000 and had it installed on 4/30. It is now 6/21 and STILL CANNOT OPEN OUR SLIDING GLASS DOORS. They sent the doors with a stripped screw on the track which made the door useless. We have called constantly getting a different answer each time. They finally have admitted to dropping the ball but continue to tell us that it will be "Fixed next week" and they will give us a call and we have not heard anything. We have had to go into the store to finally get any attention to this matter but still no luck. A coworker of mine is having the same experience. Please do yourself a favor and do not purchase any services through this store. They are absolutely horrific to work with and take no responsibility. read more
