My wife and I went to this store today to buy a cabinet. I needed a bigger flat cart to take the cabinet to checkout. I walked around looking for a cart and next thing I know a woman was telling at me "SIR, SIR YOU CAN NOT COME BACK HERE. STOP SIR!" I had no idea that I was going toward the back room, there was no indication of change, no markings to indicate that I was in the back room. The woman acted like I was a mad man going to cause harm. I was there with my wife and my special needs daughter. I am very insulted to be talked to in thin manner. read more

I spend over $1,000 here at Lowe's. Just came from the store where I needed to return some stain. I got the replacement item I needed and had to go around the barriers to get to customer service to complete the return. I noticed the cashier at the service desk glaring at me. I got to the desk and the cashier "Marina" told me my return needed manager approval. After she made me wait and loose tons of time at the job site another guy arrived and told her manager approval was not needed for my return. So she made me wait for nothing! I was in a hurry because my job does have deadlines we need to meet! She even started to argue with the other employee so I finally found the receipt just so I could be on my way. It's unbelievable how unprofessional and disrespectful "Marina" was acting! I will go do my business at Home Depot from now on. Maybe they will appreciate the $1,000 more! read more

Just went to Lowes to buy one of their vacuum cleaners that were sale. Went to customer service desk to request they send a worker to help retrieve one from a high shelf. I waited and waited with NO help. Employees came and went, some even were busy socializing with each other. I gave up. When I passed the customer service lady on the way out, she had an "Oh shit I forgot to call in help for her!" look! They lost my business today. read more

After visiting the"other" store and getting ZERO help, we went to Lowe's, where we should have started. Store employee, Odessa, saw us looking at the tile and was more than helpful and attentive without hovering over and pressuring us in any way. These folks SUCK! Do NOT buy ANYTHING from Lowes, unless you want to be ripped off, lied to, and not get what you ordered! I ordered a new Samsung washer and dryer WEEKS ago! They were SUPPOSED to be delivered (and installed) today (8 June 2020). I got the dryer alright, but there was NO WASHER! I had to call the store, and the toll free "customer service" number! After being on hold for over an hour, I was told that the washer was on "back order" until 21 June 2020. When I asked why I was not informed of the back order, and I only find out when I call to check on what is going on with my delivery, I was told "well, you placed the order on-line!" I call the toll free "customer service" number...and wait on hold another hour. The "woman" says "well, we are in the middle of a pandemic right now, and lots and lots of customers are not getting their orders on time." When I asked why I wasn't notified about the delay until I called today (the day they were supposed to be delivered), and the "woman" says to me: "you called the customer service center. If you want that information, you will have to call the store!" Unbelievable! I would not recommend Lowes to my WORST ENEMY now...I will never shop with them again!! read more

This is a Joe homeowner, weekend warrior kind of place. The staff is friendly, but don't know a lot. I ordered over $20,000 of Pella windows for our new house. It took Lowes six months and FOUR tries before we got the right windows! They were frosted, we wanted clear. We ordered two of the same size and four others of a different size, they got the four and two backwards. The employee who did the ordering was a complete f-up. Besides, Lowes is A LOT more expensive than Home Depot. read more

He said yes but he proceeded to roll his eyes and basically told me its to much of a hassle to pick up the phone and call the other store for a price match. Soo.. 9-17-19 Las Cruces, NM, Your customer service is the worst that I have experienced anywhere. At 2:15 pm today; this was my experience: loading two 4X8 particle boards on cart nobody offers to help. Four men on the contractor counter all look down trying to look busy when they can easily give you a hand. On another occasion fast drying QUICKRETE, none available at floor level. The three men behind counter obviously could see that I needed help bringing the sacks down from upper shelf. They all look down acting like they are busy. Lowes used to be my favorite store. Your customer service has gone to hell. Someone could get hurt having to load material in the parking lot with NO help from any employee. Seems like nobody cares. read more

Lowe's Las cruces has deteriorated in a matter of the last few years. This typically comes from management problems which lead to poor customer skills displayed by employees. The store is not an inviting environment any longer. There are far too many displays protruding into aisles, the store is just hard to navigate. Employees are not happy in their jobs and it shows. They carry that poor attitudes into encounters with the public, the very people that write their paycheck. They also have very little training in how to interact with the public. How do I know? I grew up serving the public in the retail grocery business. Each employee is the face of the company...so when an employee clocks in at Lowes, they wear the corporate face. The face of Lowes Corporate IS that employee or the attitude of that employee with each customer encounter. I'll take my business to Home Depot or Johnston's hardware on Picacho avenue. FAR Superior attitude from employees at each of these stores. You've all had your experiences and I won't rehash mine here...if you've had good ones, keep shopping there. If you're like me, take your shopping $ elsewhere! read more

Customer service is apparently a foreign concept to the folks at Lowe's. I had a purchase of products with no SKU number or bar code and the ONE cashier working a regular check-out had a customer buying about 200 various nuts & bolts which she had to enter manually (I actually felt sorry for her) so she informed me I could go to customer service to check out since it was going to take her awhile. The A** at customer service huffed & puffed at the fact that I had to make him do some actual work and had the nerve to tell me 'next time try using self-checkout'. WTF do you suggest I just make up my own bar code to slap on product? It's your JOB to help customers and if you don't want to because it interferes with your gab time perhaps a job in this field isn't for you! read more

I was in the Lowes Las Cruces, NM today and my experience was wonderful. great help, a young man named Preston in blinds was the most helpful employee I have ever met in any store. We had just left Home Depot, where we (and another couple) walked out because we couldn't get service though 8 employees were at the counter. I purchased $500.00 today and the other couple purchased blinds for their new home. I suspect probably between $2,000 and $3,000. So I would say "thumbs up" for Preston and the Lowes, Las Cruces, NM store. I will not purchase at Home Depot again. read more

DO NOT BUY AN APPLIANCE FROM LOWES IN LAS CRUCES!!! I purchased a whirl pool refrigerator and in less than 1 year it stopped cooling. I called the service line and they scheduled someone to come repair (Big Jack and Sons). They came to inspect and said they needed to order a part. Didn't hear back from them for 8 days!! Then I was guaranteed the part would be in on the 10th day and they would schedule service as soon as it arrived. A WEEK later the repair company called me and said the part was ordered and would be in by that Thursday. Keep in mind, this is going on 3 weeks now since I originally called. By the next monday I called lowes back AGAIN, they told me the service man told them they had been trying to schedule with me. COMPLETE BS!!! On top of that, Lowes is telling me that it's the repairman fault, the repairman is blaming Lowes since they sent the part. Took almost a month of having no refrigerator. Will never buy another whirlpool and definitely will NEVER purchase another appliance from Lowes in Las Cruces. And ALL of this could have been avoided if they would have given me different shipping options, I would have gladly paid express shipping but I was told no, they don't do that. NEVER AGAIN! read more
