Terrible, Terrible, Terrible!! A one-star rating is "6 stars" too high!! My 93 y.o. mother purchased a new clothes dryer from the Lowe's there in Lawton. Never worked!! She contacted the store immediately for a refund. They said they had brought it in from the wharehouse in OKC so she would have to contact them for the refund. So stupid - if they brought it in from China would she have to contact China?? The store where she bought it is responsible - they are just taking advantage of her. She contacted the wharehouse in OKC and they said since she paid by check she would have to wait up to 14 days to receive a card with her credit on it and that she could only spend it at Lowe's. She was willing to trade out the non-working dryer to get a replacement dryer from Lowe's. Was not offered as an option since they are forcing her to go through the OKC wharehouse. Now she is without a clothes dryer waiting for this to be resolved. What kind of Customer Service is this?? Terrible!! Following the Golden Rule?? Never!! Treating you like a Good Neighbor?? I hope your neighbors are better than this. This is just not how we treat people in Oklahoma!! Shame, Shame, Shame on you!! They've lost me as a future customer. I met a lovely person who helped me, Lori and in the garden section, I did not get his name but he had a gold star.But inside the store, not so much customers were helping each other. They call for someone 45 minutes later after several calls for help with a ton of excuses someone comes. Luckily Lowe's is our favorite store, so we know our way around it. We were able to find all that we were looking for on the shelves. But were unable to get any assistance for lighting, appliances, and installation services. I used to be a die hard Lowes customer. Thanks to Lawton, I will avoid Lowes from now on. When our freezer broke last year, we went to Lowes to take advantage of their Zero Percent financing to help us with the unplanned expense. After countless phone calls and complaints to the Lawton Store, corporate Lowes, and finally Synchrony... I do not have no interest financing. I am sure it is my fault for not reading every line when I signed, but I trusted the clerk was setting up no interest financing as I requested. When the first item we ordered showed up in Altus (deliveries only come to our town 1-2 times per week), the drivers claimed no one was home when they arrived. We have three dogs that bark at anything that comes in the yard and the family was downstairs. The driver has a picture of our house as proof they were there, but I do not believe they actually came to the door to knock.... I can accept maybe the dogs didn't bark and we didn't hear them knock. When the items were finally delivered, they brought them in the house and then explained to me why they could not remove the plastic pallet under the freezer. I asked a few times, but the installer said a coworker had lost their job for scratching someone's floor and he refused to remove the packaging. Removing this was no small task for me. I had to tilt it back and hold the heavy upright fridge and upright freezer while explaining to my teenage daughter how to remove the pallet. As an added bonus, the bolts holding the pallet required a five point star screw driver (I know, not the right term). I had to go to the local store and purchase the right tool. When I complained to Lowes, they acknowledged they have trouble with the delivery company and yet they continue using them? The icing on the cake. My delivery fee included hauling off my old appliances. The delivery company had no paperwork allowing them to haul off the appliance. It sat in the alley behind my house for days, leaving me liable if anything happened with it, until they could get someone out to pick it up. I paid for these appliances months before they arrived, as expected with today's COVID policies. The freezer did not even work when it arrived. Nothing about this experience was positive and Lowes only made excuses. If you need something from Lowes, go to OKC or Wichita Falls is my recommendation. read more

Well.... let's see.... Miscommunication typically comes from just one employee, not a total of 5 employees over a 2 week period. We purchased a freezer. The delivery man (Matt) was not helpful. We had to purchase a 3-prong adaptor til we get an electrician here. So Matt shoved the freezer into place. The electric cord was still wrapped & tucked into the bottom of the unit. My husband had to use a dolly to pull it out to plug it in. Now I'm trying to find the serial number. Guess what? Lowe's finally answered me after a day of calling & being put on hold AND, we have to pull the freezer out again!! I'm writing my complaint on Yelp because I couldn't find a way to complain directly to Lowe's. The only answer I got was, "we're sorry". I asked for the delivery/install man to come move the freezer, he didn't install anything!!! We are senior citizens. This isn't right!!!! Guess I'll go to another vendor now!! This items in the store is not the problem, it's the customer service. Typically you are left to wait on a customer service representative for approximately 15 minutes or more. Other representatives see you but don't ask you if you need help, just pass by you. My husband and I are currently in the appliance department and two associates saw us and didn't bother to assist; one guy was on the phone the entire time and once off the phone told us that the same female representative that ignored us before we will be "coming back" to assist us. My question: why couldn't she help us or at least tell us herself that she would be back to assist. This is very frustrating. No one wants to stand around a store waiting on random associates to decide to help. Completely disrespectful to customers who have other things to do than waste time waiting on 1 associate. read more

I was needing (5) 10 lb bags of grout and asked a woman named LaShea if she could get me a ladder to reach the back of the shelf and she dropped what she was doing and pushed a ladder 3 isles over and all the way around since the isle was blocked by a pallet. so friendly and helpful. The assistant manager, Joe, is unprofessional, rude and not knowledgeable at all. I had to return a washing machine that I had less than a year and when I went to get the replacement they couldn't even find the washer that I returned. I was asked to come back at a later time when a different employee was there because no one there knew what was going on! I went back later that day, ordered the washer and delivery was set up for the next day ( at this point I had been without a washing machine for almost a month due to dealing with the manufacture warranty!). My washer was never delivered and when I called the store they never actually ordered the washer!!! They couldn't reorder the washer or refund my money! The assistant manager hung up on me and then told me he didn't have to help me when I called back. He also lied and said he had the washer at the store and when I told him I would just come pick it up then he couldn't find it, and it wasn't in the store. He told me there wasn't anything he could do and it would have to wait until the manager was in the next day!! I have never dealt with a more unprofessional, rude, unorganized situation in my life! I highly recommend going to Home Depot or somewhere else local before you take your chances with the Lowe's in Lawton OK! The service is terrible and the management is even worse! I must have caught them on a bad day, everything seemed disorganized; multiple isles were blocked off, most seemed unnecessary. 2-4 employees more interested in personal conversations and just lollygagging; overall organization had isles presented as cluttered and unorganized. Went to Lowes on 9/17/2023 and had a horrible experience. I am handicapped and in the process of lung transplants. I asked not only many individuals that worked there for some help loading materials with ALL stating that is not their department. After many attempts to get anyone to help for an hour, I finally asked for the manager, after approximately another hour waiting on the manager which never showed, a good Samaritan customer helped load the materials for me. When at checkout line asked again to speak to the manager, come to find out, the assistant store manager was actually the same person I was asking if he could or if he could get someone to help load the materials which turned a blind eye to a handicapped person in need. When I confronted him at the check out line , his response was, well you did finally get a customer to help you load things didn't you? UNBELIEVABLE and certainly unbecoming of anyone that has been put in a position of authority.. This store needs a serious leadership change as his attitude has went viral through the entire store. Left and went to Sutherlands and had a total different experience with respect, compassion and a true caring environment for their customers and had all the help I needed and was out of there in less than 30 minutes. Will NEVER go back to Lowes in Lawton ever again! read more

For a Lowe's there is an expectation that it is better than Home Depot, which is not the case at this location. The people here are at minimum 75% of the issue. I would say what I call them, but there is not nice way to describe the lack luster quality of people they continue to employ. There are a few great people here but then again they are out weighed by the dregs of society that are hired in. I could not believe how I was treated on multiple occasions, where I have felt either like I was less than human. I have even had someone tell me it was my fault they over charged me and I caught it. Then I was told I had to go to the front desk to have them refund me, I asked why I should be inconvenienced because of an error by the company. It's so rare to have a great experience at a home-improvement store but today we went to Lowe's and we couldn't find something but we found an employee that went above and beyond the normal amount of work to find it for us. RANDY IS AWESOME! Randy was so helpful and friendly. After helping us find what we need and telling us to have a great evening he also told us he normally works evenings in the garden center that way if we need to we can come back and have them help us find something else or get his advice. Lowes Installation Services leaves much to be desired. The Lowes Independent subcontractor flooring people arrived and after they start the demo of the tiled floor, told us the subfloor will be damaged during the removal of the underlayment and they won't do it. Next day the Independent subcontractor tells LOWES the subfloor is damaged. The last conversation with the Lowes Installation Service people is that removing the underlayment is not part of Independent subcontractor's scope of work. Lowes Rep did a site visit for a fee, looked at the house and measured the floor for tile needs and did not do a proper estimate for the work needed. Not at all a good experience with Lowes!!! Still waiting for the store manager to return my numerous calls to discuss refund of labor not used since no further work was done. read more

My husband is a subcontractor and need an odd sized window. He placed the order with a staff member and was told that the window would be delivered to us. After giving ample time for delivery he started making phone calls to get information. He was transferred multiple times and then told that there was not tracking information, hung up on, and told it was delivered to the address we gave. With that being said he told them it was absolutely not delivered to him because he was at the location it was supposedly delivered to. He called again on 06/24/20 and was told that someone would look into it and call him 06/25/20 around 11 am. He received the call as promised just to find out that the window had been sitting at the store for almost 2 weeks. In my opinion this was a piss poor first impression for someone who spends thousands on home improvement and considered looking into a business account with this company. Absolutely horrible customer service. I will never shop here again! Bought a stove and drove it 45 miles home and unboxed it and it was a wreck. Damage everywhere. Called the appliance manager and the best he could do was have us drive it 45 miles back and give us $70 for our trouble. When we got there and told the sales associate what happened he laughed like it was the funniest thing he ever heard! The manager had gone to dinner and had not left instructions with anyone like he said he would as to how to take care of us so we were stuck waiting forever. Pitiful! read more

We bought a electric hot water tank on 1-25-14 and 4 months later it guits we had someone come out they fixed it then it went out again. We called the service people they came out and looked at it and it was our electric outlet so I had it fixed and I also had a new breaker put and the tank still doesn't work. So I called these people back five times and finally we just gave up and my mom got a different heater. Whrilpool products sucks. read more

Delivery service is a joke. I bought a dryer 2 weeks ago and had to wait a week for delivery. Appliance arrived and was told there was broken prong. I asked if it was the electrical cord because I could get a replacement and return the defective one on my next trip to Lawton. The delivery guys said "oh, sure, you can get another one....". I then walked out to the truck and asked again and it was not the cord but a piece that broke off a back panel that had dropped into the dryer. I said there was no way I was accepting that. They said no problem, they'd being another out the following Monday morning. Monday gets here and I haven't received my call to confirm I was on the deliveries. I call Lowe's and was told by Jeremy that there were computer issues but the guys should be making their calls within an hour. Several hours later, still no call, so I call back again. I spoke to Johnny who sd there were truck issues that morning and deliveries are on their way. I ask him to confirm I'm on the list. His response was I assume you are if they told you they would bring it out. I told him I'd rather no "assume" and asked him to check. After an extended wait, he returned and said that my dryer was not on the deliveries after all. I told him we would come in in next few days and pick it up as we were going out of town that afternoon. He said they'd "make it right for me". Mt trip got extended so I called back to lowes on Wednesday to ask if it could be delivered on Friday? I spoke to Leon who said he made certain it was added and it will be out Friday morning. Today is Friday. I didn't receive my call to confirm my delivery for this morning. I call the store and speak to Leon to confirm the delivery. He informs me the deliveries will come between noon and closing. (Really? I set aside my morning based on his information.) I told him he informed me it would be Friday morning. He advised it changed since then and now it was between noon and closing. I told them to take it off the truck and I'd come get it. However, now I'm contemplating just going to the store and getting my money back and going to Home Depot. read more

My Mother who is widowed bought a Husqvarna lawnmower 48 in cut and a 28 hr power engine and when she went to get supply's to do the first change oil they did not know what the oil filter it used or the air cleaner . They even give her the wrong amount of oil to replace the oil in the engine.. they told her that there was a tube inside the oil drain and it was in correct their is no tube it has to be bought separate. I would not recommend buying any lawn mowers from them. read more
