He led me to each area in what I was specifically looking for, he was attentive, and even when he was finished assisting my father and I, he still came over to ask if we found everything okay. Fellow Lowe's employees - you can thank your coworker Dianne for personally bringing this review down from a perfect 5 star experience to 4. Read on: I was searching high and low for a plastic 5 x 7 outdoor rug - the kind that is perfect for camping. Fortunately it's now July so summer items are deeply discounted. Unfortunately stock is pretty picked thru. According to the Lowe's website my neighborhood Lowe's in Lancaster had three. However when I called there I reached a young employee who responded " there's alot of stuff back there" and made little attempt to locate or disprove the three that were supposedly in stock. Thus resulting in me having to get in my car and drive there, finding someone more helpful, and together we were unable to locate any. However the Lebanon location supposedly had 6, but given the fact that what is "supposed" to be in the store doesn't always match what is on the shelves it was worth a shot. I went home and immediately called Lebanon. Alexis took my call and I couldn't have been more satisfied. She put me on hold till she could physically find and put her hands on two of these elusive clearance rugs. When I told her I couldn't get there for 2 days she didn't have a problem. She took my name and had them marked for hold back in receiving. She told me to make sure I tell customer service that's where they were. Easily 'nuff. Alexis was so pleasant to work with and I was soooo grateful I called her manager to give her praise. When I went to pick up I was greeted by Al, a pleasant older man who warned us about the kiddie type carts, and later was the one to ultimately locate the rugs we had on hold. We went to customer service like instructed however the gal was on the phone and didn't even so much as look up to acknowledge us. Wanting a third rug I left my daughter at the counter, with the product #, Alexis' name, and where they were located to convey to the clerk when she was done. It took me a bit of time to find the one remaining rug on the shelf and return to customer service where my daughter said there was a problem and my rug could not be located. The previous clerk had left by this time and a new one just came in her place. Al was within earshot and offered to go to receiving to check and low and behold my rugs were exactly where Alexis had left them. So what was the problem? Apparently alot went down at the counter with the clerk on the phone; Diane. According to my daughter she became argumentative when my daughter tried to explain they were in receiving, and discounted that that was even true. She refused to contact Alexis (who was working elsewhere in the store at the time) nor send someone to look in receiving. She made smart comments and complained to my daughter about how she was to get off at 6 and was still helping her at 6:10pm. She was so miserable in fact that when she was relieved of her post, her replacement who overheard the conversation with my daughter wrote Diane's name down on a card for corporate and told her to report her. Apparently Diane doesn't like people and shouldn't be in customer service, and my daughter was told that many complaints were filed about her. While I did not call corporate because I didn't witness anything other than her not acknowledging us first hand it is worth mentioning. Besides Diane and her refusal to go to receiving the experience would have been flawless. Al and Alexis, and the replacement clerk were all pleasant and did what they could to assist us. I got the product I wanted (x 3!) at a great price and love it so that alone is worth showing Lowe's of Lebanon a little love. WORTH MENTIONING: this is not a huge Lowe's and smaller than I am used to. It's set up differently too and is more reminiscent of a Home Depot in layout. read more

Went in the middle of the summer on a Saturday ( you know when everyone is gardening and doing home repairs) they only had 1 line open for check out! The line of customers waiting was threw the store to the back aisles. I left. Went to home depot, got the same stuff for less and no line waiting! read more

I will never order an appliance for delivery from Lowes again. Freezer was supposed to be delivered between 2 and 5. 7:30 and we are still waiting. Call to driver stated they would be here at 7:45! If you say you are going to deliver by a certain time you have to be there on time. We had plan tonight but we may have to cancel. read more

We looked at a nice stone fireplace kit that was $30 off but wanted to think about it. The next day I looked on line and it was back to the regular price. I called and they said they would sell it to me at the sale price. When we arrived the young man in charge of the outdoor area loaded it on the forklift along with the extra stones to load it in the back of my Armada. The forks didn't extend to get in in so he quickly got another forklift. We worked together and with about 2" to spare he loaded it. He was also very polite and made sure we payed the reduced price. Lebanon Lowe's needs better customer service. People have been saying this for years. They are totally behind Home Depot in that department. But sometimes, for convenience, I go to Lowe's and get annoyed all over again. What is with these people who look right at you and say nothing? How about, "may I help you?" And then follow it up with, " I will show you where that is, follow me." Instead of pointing to the aisle, or section, or whatever, break yourself away from the dude you are shooting the sh&t with and do your job. I went in today to get shelves but they needed to be cut. I had to wait until the guy was finished bantering with another customer about nothing....laughing and carrying on listening to stories about whatever....but it was ok to make another customer wait, and wait, and wait some more. The manager ought to get his act together and watch what his employees do....or don't do! read more

This is my favorite hardware store of all time. I practically spend the entire summer there. The customer service is excellent. I can always find what I am looking for. Their nursery is huge! I love being able to buy flowers for the spring/summer and then for the fall time. This is the only Lowe's I go too. Although, there is another Lowe's at the same distance in Palmyra I prefer the Lebanon Lowe's because the staff is so helpful. 5 stars for the staff! read more

I went to lowes I'm palmyra to buy the mulch advertised on TV 5 bags for 10$.I've seen the ad before serval times.the cashier says no that's 3 for 10$.I said what about the running ad,she said that doesn't matter.worst customer service I've ever had. read more
