I went to Lowe's Midwest City with a paint chip from my wife, it seems she was moving pictures around in her new office and one of them took the paint from the wall. She brought the sample home and wanted me to get her a small can and roller for the repair. You can't beat the Value at Lowe's as they run specials all the time and I get my military discount. So I am here at Lowe's and I have been standing back in the wood cutting area for approximately 20 minutes. Walk had already asked somebody for help. They said they were gonna get somebody. Then I had to walk all the way to the front to see if someone can come help me the guy reassured me that someone they're gonna call somebody back here. I made a delivery order for about $1600. Lowes made a preauthorization on my debit card for the amount on the 16th. They also preauthorized it on the 19th, tying up $3200 of my funds. My order was delayed and the only communication I got was a voicemail saying "This is Jeremy." My order is still not delivered and only says delayed online. So ultimately, Lowes is tying up $3200 for a $1600 dollar order that hasn't been delivered. This is embarrassing and should be looked into by management. What a joke. read more

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I specifically came to this location yesterday because another location told us they not only had an item in stock, but had 48 in stock. I drove out there (roughly 30min away from where I was) and immediately began searching for what I needed. I immediately saw an employee to ask to point me in the direction whom said to go down to where they "should" be. I searched the isle and was unable to find what I needed. I finally saw another employee to ask for help, Allen. Allen decided that walking 4 feet ahead of me while talking was the best way for me to be able to talk to him. He then acted annoyed because I was feet away from him when he was trying to point out that the box was on the top shelf. When I finally was able to catch up to him and hear him explain that he has to have Manager permission to get the box down. I questioned why he couldn't just ask because I specifically drove here as the app stated they had them in stock. He then took off again to find his Manager and I just stayed put. He never returned. I had to walk around to find him and his Manager. His Manager explained that they were not allowed to take the box down because they were currently under inventory that began on Monday. I asked why that was an issue when the app showed that if I ordered the item through the app, it would be ready within an hour and Allen began to chuckle and I immediately said, "I'm glad this is humerus to you as I stand here trying to ask how this makes sense". Allen's Manager explained that unfortunately no matter what, they were not allowed to get the box down to give me one as it was against their process since inventory started on Monday. I asked if he could please look for another location who had one in stock that I could walk in and get and he looked it up and told me. My frustration with the entire trip is that it's already difficult to walk into places this large and find anyone who can help. Then when I did, I received what felt like, an associate who was the most difficult and had no willingness to help. The Manager stood there to hear my frustration and witnessed Allen chuckling at my frustration but never once did he apologize or understand that he should have done some sort of recovery. I've always trusted Lowe's, they seemed reputable and seemed to care about helping me.....until lately!! I tried to buy a gas range, I've never had such a problem ever. First the lady I was dealing with said I could break the cost up between two credit cards. Then said my bank wouldn't take it...I called my bank they said there had not even been an attempt!! So now I know she's lying. After that she suggested we just cancel it and start all over again. So I did that. Then she said she would call back the next day and we would start again....she never called, I called her again, oh yes....let's get that started. Again, she's making mistakes saying the other card won't go through....she'll clear it up and call back. Never called...So I called for the manager, no where around!!! Talked to another man that tried to help but his lack of information put us back with this inept woman. I called the Corporate office, they didn't really care and were not any help. After talking with 3 or 4 more people, I finally got it ordered....they kept pushing the delivery time back. In addition I wanted to make sure whomever was going to install it, knew what they were doing, gas in nothing to mess with. That was another run around, finally got a woman that could guarantee the installer was qualified. I made all kinds of changes in the house to make it easier for them to get it in...Finally the truck came....I'm all excited even though it's been 3 days to get it ordered. The driver pulled out the box......ALAS! It was damaged. After all the time, effort, frustration and excitement, no stove. They have to re-order it and start again ...this one has to come from Tennessee?? Really, so that takes another day. I'm so upset, disappointed and dismayed that a company so big is so inept. Maybe you could hire more competent people, train them better and your customer service might improve. I will NOT recommend any of my family or friends to use Lowe's because of this experience. I have shopped here many times and I always find what I'm looking for. They have a huge selection of home improvement stuff and I just love their huge assortment of lawn and garden goods. We bought 25 pounds of chlorine for our swimming pool and on the way out I spotted these adorable Poodle Dwarf Spruces that I just had to have! The line outside was long but went quickly. The cashier was friendly and helpful. They are practicing social distancing and all the employees that I saw were wearing masks. read more

Poor customer service! Bought a Graco paint Sprayer and upon using it the hose and trigger assembly leaked paint profusely. I tried to return for a replacement or refund but was told w/out a receipt they couldn't help and I had to contact the manufacturer. When I questioned that policy the customer service rep literally looked around me and said next to the person behind me. My family and I have spent a small fortune in Lowe's over the past 2 decades but hey what's that matter to a customer service rep. That absolute worst customer service over the phone I have ever experienced. Will not shop here again. Ive been wronged twice by the same store. Once over my fridge and second time over a washer and dryer. I've been hung up on over 10 times by different sales associates at the store. Even by the manager. Called to help with a defective dryer and when someone finally answered they said they will have a manager call me back and then hung up on me didn't even take my number. Kept calling and the manager picked up and then hung up on me. Managers name is myesha. Finally in the end a women names Susan helped me with my fridge and was very sweet. 1/ over 100 people in the store actually helped us Still waiting on the dryer situation. I rented a carpet cleaner for 24 hours, and cleaned the carpet in one room of my house. I returned it the next day, and the "customer service" associate (Desi) asked me "Did you clean it?" I told her that I didn't, and she said there was a $20 dollar cleaning fee, and I would not get my deposit ($29.99) back. She told me it was policy, and pointed to a page inside a notebook kept closed behind the counter. I was told nothing about cleaning the machine before returning it, and nothing about any policies. I left the store, and took the machine to a car wash and cleaned it. I expressed my displeasure with a manager (Demetrious), and he didn't really care. I promise it's going to cost Lowes way more in lost business than the $50 they were hassling me with. Shortsighted people. I bought a ceiling fan at another Lowes in SW OKC just because I was nearby on another errand. I waited until the next day to install and it worked but did not move as much air as I had hoped for but left it running and a few hours later it had totally turned off light and all. I checked my wiring and all was good. I again I waited til the next day to uninstall and pack back in the original box. I checked on their web site to see their return policy and it said return to any Lowes location so MWC here I come as it is closest to my home. They refused to exchange because it had been installed and I would have to take my problem to the manufacturer for remedy. Spoke to 3 different people all claiming to be a manager of some level, all denied return. Customer service in the weed eater section was top notch.. I left the dept. with knowledge and a new weed eater, feeling pretty good! Here is where the customer service went down hill real quick!! I go to the self checkout line, which I have done several times before at other Lowes stores nation wide and this one, with no issues.. I show the lady at the register my military ID, because they give military discounts.. She tells me, the machines doesn't recognize military discounts.. (I know that, that is why I showed her.. They normally ring you up, or do something in there register to show up on your self check out register the discount) I reply, ma'am I know.. I was wondering if Its possible for you to ring me up at the register? She says, I am unable to, because I am extremely busy.. Remember she isn't ringing anyone up, she is just there "monitoring" for issues and theft.. I kindly reply, ok.. Thank you ma'am, and proceeded to a normal cashier... After waiting in line for 5 min, I look up and see the very same lady ringing someone up!! If you see a very short stocky lady with dark long hair in that area, expect terrible customer service.. Don't buy a Samsung refrigerator!!!!! We bought ours three years ago and thank God for Lowe's extended warranty. I never buy warranties, but I decided I'd better be safe than sorry. The problems started two months after our purchase with loud noises coming from the freezer. Since then, it's been a downward spiral. Eight service calls later we were told that ice builds up in the back and hits the fan, causing the awful noise and for the freezer to malfunction. One repair company told us that 90% of his repair calls are on Samsung refrigerators. Now we're one month past our service warranty's expiration and the noise has started again and the freezer quit freezing. My daughter is sick and needs frozen ice bags multiple times per day, but our Samsung refrigerator, one of the worst purchase decisions I've ever made, has once again let us down. I had to switch all of our frozen food to the deep freeze and we're using it for the ice bags, but it doesn't freeze them fast enough to help. I used a blow dryer on the freezer wall last night to try to release the built up ice. Hopefully it will work and at least freeze my daughter's ice bags until we can replace our samsung refrigerator. If you're shopping at Lowe's, which is our first stop for appliances and other household items, DON'T BUY A SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR and buy the warranty, no matter what brand you buy. Our samsung clothes dryer came from Lowe's 5 years ago. It's perfect. No problems. I love my Samsung phone. No problems. The company just can't make a decent refrigerator. read more

Never in my life have I had an enjoyable experience in a Lowe's. When I found out that I needed a new lawn mower I was dreading having to come here and purchase one. When I got here I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly customer service and help I was greeted with. The staff here helped me when I rang up the wrong lawnmower and even got on the lift to get the right one. Jess especially was great and helped me find the most cost efficient one for my budget. She was incredibly knowledgeable about her work and spend a lot of time comparing lawnmowers without pushing us a certain way. Heaven at the register was very soft spoken and understanding when we rang up the wrong items. She made us laugh while working with us after we became frustrated. She was very well trained with working with long lines and had very strong customer service. read more

Absolutely zero stars for lowes Midwest City Ok! I will never step foot in this place again. It's a fucking joke. Store managers do not train their employees and a employee told me, after he called for a store manager 3 times, that the store managers usually don't come on the floor..... even after he called over the intercom 3 times??? I had to go to customer service for them to call her directly. So they basically sit in the office doing nothing all day, makes since because their employees are rude, don't know what's in stock so they sell things they don't even have, and they never answer their phones. The reason I had to talk to a store manager was because I bought a washer and dryer Friday and was told they had both in stock and they will deliver on Sunday. Sunday comes and I haven't heard anything so I call and they give a time frame of 2-4pm then a little later saying they are delayed now 2-6pm. I waited til 7pm to try to call someone and couldn't get anyone that knew anything. My boyfriend had to go up there for them to tell him they forgot to put it on the truck. So the next day we were able to be home for it was Wednesday. I get a call Wednesday morning from the delivery director, again someone that does not know how to do his job, saying they can deliver the washer today but the dryer wouldn't be in until Thursday so they can deliver the dryer Friday. I was immediately confused and pissed. NO told us we were waiting for a dryer!! I again started calling someone to get an understanding of what was happening but again no one answered. So I had to go to the store the and the ONLY helpful person I talked to was Caleb I believe his name was. He was very nice and understanding and he was able to inform me that they did not have a dryer in stock on Friday our sales person was wrong and they wouldn't be getting anymore in until Thursday. This whole process has been the most frustrating thing I've had to deal with for a "big" company. On Sunday night I got a call from the guy who sold it to us because it was there was a problem with delivery and he was checking on it. I had to tell him and explain in detail what happens, that they didn't even deliver it, he said he was give was 25% of our money back then. So Wednesday when I went to figure out where our dry was I had to talk to the store manager for my money back and after I explained to her that I've had to stay home 2 days from work and now I have to stay home again because they don't know how to do their job... she said 25% back is all they can do and actually that's the max they can do, like what a fucking joke. She then tried to blame the "third party" delivery people, if you don't have the dryer in store and sell it THAT IS YOUR FAULT. Shannon or Shandra is the manager. i don't typically leave reviews but I really do not want anyone else to go through this when it is avoidable but using someone else....ANYONE ELSE! Facebook people are more reliable than them. Do not try to pick up either because they will rudely tell you to move your vehicle and then you'll have to wait more than an hour for them to load it up, my boss waited an hour and canceled his whole order. Purchased refrigerator & returned it after delivery. The product isn't the problem as much as the CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have made so many phone calls. MWC store says call Lowes delivery, Lowes delivery says call manufacture, manufacture says call MWC store. Everybody wanting someone else to do the work. Called Shawnee store, spoke a few times & they even called me back. Great customer service by Zay, he really tried to help but couldn't refund money since I didn't purchase from Shawnee. So called MWC Lowes store & was told to call Lowes delivery & customer care said call the MWC store. I had to hold on the phone while they made sure they had the returned product & they finally located it. Their system wouldn't let them return the protection plan purchased & they have to return frig at the same time. After spending 1 hour and 20 minutes on the phone a manager will call me back once they figure out how to do a return. They said it would be the same day 9/15/23. Nobody called. Protection Plan was credited today, 9/16/23. I called the MWC Lowes & was told they can't refund refrigerator because frig needs to be at the Edmond location before they can refund. They have had item for 5 days & done nothing & it is my problem? Sadly when refrigerator was picked, crew said MWC doesn't care about the customers or maybe Lowes refund policy doesn't let them. After being on the phone for another 42 minutes I have received my money. read more

An hour went by and no email. Called back and same girl answered and she acted like she'd never heard of us and said she was busy and she'd call us back. Waited 30 minutes and no call. Called back again and she transferred us to another girl but someone else answered and said the girl we got transferred to is outside. I just want instructions on how to put this together. Horrible service. Also when I ordered it they said they'd call me to set up a delivery time. They called at 9:30 am the next day and said they were minutes from my house. They didn't even check to see if I was home. Thankfully I was. Update: Now they're making me drive up there to get the instructions. My mother has a lot of home improvement projects going on- I mean a lot. This Lowe's is her destination for all materials and advice- and I can see why. The selection is great and there are several of the sales associates who have gotten to know her and take special care of her.(Delivering a "floor model" John Deere mower so she wouldn't have to pay for them to put it together is just onoe example.) The lay out of the store is pretty typical and the pricing is right in line with other Lowe's or Home Depot stores. We do like the convience of the MY Lowes card so she can match paint and get matching trim, etc based on previous purchases. It also means you don't have to hold on to your receipt for a return! The store is really proabably a 4 star place-but the last star is for the way they have helped my Mom these last few trying months. read more

Honestly brings lack of service to next level horrible. I went in at 8pm on a Saturday. Plenty of customers in the business. Not an employee to be found. The ladies working were the ONLY helpful people. The men, were in groups of 2 or more talking about what ever pre-season sport of the moment. I'm not saying I needed special attention. I'm saying when I'm clearly looking for something and walk past you 3 times asking where something is and as an employee you can't be bothered, that is the level of rude, discourteous, disappointing service I'm talking about. To top it off, the guy that helped me take my 70+ pound purchase to my car was on his phone, enjoying FaceTime, not listening to me at all. Had to tell him 3 tines where I was parked. Thank god he didn't mess up the leather seats. Even if he did he turned around and walked off with out a word while I'm still talking to him. Unbelievable!
