I should move from Lexington to Winchester so I can live where stores offer this kind of value and service. The store is conveniently located on Main Street but seemed to have more stuff than the Lowe's superstore near me (where their inventory is a hopelessly disorganized mess). D&S Hardware is well stocked in the way hardware stores were before the big box retailers took over. I love D&S Hardware... not just the large variety of merchandise, friendly and knowledgeable staff and great value. I love the customer oriented attitude they convey and the entire experience of shopping there.

Regardless, I need these materials as soon as possible, but Menards useless contact information does nothing to help ameliorate this situation. How disappointing. Two years after construction I had to spend an addition $25k to completely redo my home exterior so my house wouldn't rot away. my bother house that the built fell down during construction, was build 3 inches out of level and he lost his room the first significant wind that came. all of his widows also leak. given the choice between hiring them again or a crack head, I would choose the crack head every time.

The farm where we hunt is in Powell Co. and we needed salt…read moreblocks but had forgotten to get them so we looked up stores near Clay City on Yelp and this Ace popped up. We went in for salt blocks but managed to spend an hour just browsing the aisles. They sell a little bit of everything in Ace, which is why I love them so much. Whether you need a Big Green Egg, a Yeti, or canning jars, you can find it at Ace. They had 5 or 6 varieties of apples for sale that you could buy by the pound. I had never seen that in an Ace but they smelled great and so we had to buy some. There is a black cat named Baby that wanders around the store that also adds charm to a small-town hardware plus misc. store. We found it asleep on the deer corn on our visit.
