This email was sent to Lowe's Corporate Customer Service last Friday and we still have not heard from the installer, customer service or corporate. I will give you some context. This problem has been going on since May - purchase, measurement and installation of 3 appliances. Delays, cabinetry damage, and zero customer service. Yes, we had to cancel an appointment do to a medical emergency and this is how we have been treated. They scheduled another appointment for last Thursday. Greetings Josh and Lowe's Customer Service This is Vince Stansbury, Carol Stansbury's son. My anger in this situation now is beyond enraged. I hope you understand that this has now gone on way too long. My mother sat at home all day yesterday, waiting after being given an arrival window from 7am to 7pm for a team to come to her home to address the outstanding issues related to her kitchen appliance installation project. She had to reschedule an appointment she had plus canceled dinner plans with good friends so she could be available per your instructions. There were no calls or updates ALL DAY long and they never SHOWED UP! This is not acceptable. This is the 2nd time this has happened. At what point does the Store Manager or District Installation Manager get involved??? This has been going on for over 4 months now. Yes, we needed to cancel an appointment do to a medical emergency. Now, just to be clear, my father did not just go to a hospital, he was airlifted to Spokane due to a massive stroke. We spent 5 days at his bedside. Yes, I said we, as I drove from Seattle to Soap Lake to get my mom and take her to Spokane. He was then moved to Seattle into an adult family home where he would rest peacefully until he passed on Aug 29, 2024. My mom is now a widow and needs the love and support from her friends instead of sitting around waiting for a call or an update from someone at Lowe's. Now, what would you do? Now is the time for an upper level Lowe's manager to get involved!! I am expecting a call from someone before the end of the week that has the authority and power to make this right! Customer service here does not exist. Went there to purchase a miter saw, a cordless drill, an impact driver and various other items. Loaded the saw in the shopping cart. The drill and impact driver were locked in a cage. Stopped at the contractor's checkout. The lady there paged for someone to help. Stood there waiting for five minutes. Went back to the check stand. She paged for help again. I stood there waiting for another 10 minutes. While I was waiting three employees walked past. None of them even looked in my direction. All total, Lowe's lost a $600 sale. This is not the first time this has happened. There seems to be a pattern. +It must be great to have a job where all you do is walk around the store and ignore the customers. It' almost worth the drive to Wenatchee or the Tri-Cities Just for the service that is lacking at Moses Lake. Does not even deserve 1 star. Will go to Home Depot to make my purchase. read more

Stood at the paint counter to have a gallon of paint mixed. It was really slow with hardly any customers. We were right in front of the customer service desk and they could clearly see we needed help. Funny thing is, once I walked over to the desk and stood there for 5 minutes, they called for someone to help us. The guy who showed up was really nice but had walked past the paint counter twice while we had been standing there. Seriously?! Where is the customer service in any of that?! What a joke! How about training the employees to anticipate customers' needs and use some awareness techniques to do so?! Would've made their day and our day go by faster. read more

Employees are polite and helpful in person but clueless and rude if you call them. It's pretty messy but they might be reorganizing things. I don't really have a choice to go somewhere else though. My boyfriend goes here all the time and always finds what he needs. read more

They are short handed ! Use a little common sense ! When you do get help they devote there attention 100% to helping you no matter how long or difficult and if you dont remeber a doohickythingamjiggers name they understand and help the charade of solving your problem and if the associate from tools is helping you in the garden center they still are amazing. I am going to apply here this is the small town help youd expect in a small business but unfortunately for small businesses here like Ace, you get the absolute worst help there. As I was last minute Christmas shopping as there was something that was the perfect gift here for that someone, I pulled into their parking lot hoping for a quick in and out trip. I suggest that if you didn't have snow tires or 4 wheel drive don't, I repeat, DON'T! Go here as it has snowed they do not shovel the snow. If there was a car in the other lane it would of been a different day. I did about 2 or 3 circles before I managed to stop, and put the car in 4 wheel drive. And needless to say I didn't go in the store, I went straight home! So Lowes you suck at snow shovelling and I would be more than happy to do this job myself if I had the opportunity to. read more

Running out of hardware options in Moses Lake, because both big box stores operate on a level of incompetence that's mind blowing! Really folks, I'm restoring a historic home and WANT to give my money and business to someone who deserves it. Promised a morning delivery of new appliances only to wait around for 6 hours and several phone calls to the manager, Cliff ( who is very nice on the phone ). Was promised by the Lowe's salepeople we would be the fist delivery of the morning and (as it turns out) we were scheduled for the end of the day! Can no longer wait and will have to reschedule delivery for next week. Huge bummer and I feel terrible for being decieved. They sub out work, which is ok, which I understand. However, they had to have a plumber come out and take out a sink in my kitchen for new countertops. When it was all done, the plumber came back but didn't install the sink properly. I called no less than 10 times and left messages to please have the plumber come back out and finish the job properly. NO ON EVER CALLED ME BACK. I had to have someone else come out and finish the job at my added expense. read more

Terrible on a World scale!! I am faced with the dilemma of patronizing this terrible establishment versus driving way out of my way to go to Home Depot or Ace. The apathy, laziness, and poor service from the staff is astonishing!! Tonight was uniquely terrible; myself and no less than a dozen patrons are on a single line(the only one open) at the customer service desk...the checker was rude and indifferent. She asked a co-worker for help and the co-worker replied, in the presence of all the waiting customers, "I'm on my lunch". When it was my turn, the checker rang up only a few of my items, stuffing them in a and hands me my change and a receipt. She never even looked up from her register. The worst Home Improvement place in Moses Lake in my opinion. Go someplace else. The Management is a joke, half of them have no idea how to help a customer. Employees? Well they are not knowledgeable whatsoever. You ask them a question and they don't know the answer, they always have to call someone or look it up on the computer. Use to be you would go in there and they would have people who actually knew something and gave advice. Not any more. I stopped going there a couple years ago and have people who use to work there tell me that it has changed so much since the new manager took over. read more

THE only reason to give them 2 stars is the door installer, Sam. HE is awesome, courteous and professional. I bought a front door, it came in wrong, twice. They gave me a custom door for a stock door price, but subbed a different door without even talking to me. That mistake really cost them, Hey Lowe's, communicate with your customers! I probably would have chosen that door, had I been given a choice. Also, fix your phone!! When you select a dept. Number it cuts you off. I ordered some planters that were on sale and I wanted them ship to my local store. I placed the order on the last day of the Memorial Day sale which was a Wednesday so I called on Thursday during my lunch to check if they were ready, since it said my local store in Moses Lake WA had 5 in stock. When I called Thursday the gal I spoke to said she spoke to garden center manager and they didn't have any in stock. So I asked if they can ship some in from another store the girl mentioned Wenatchee WA store had 15 in stock. The girl stated she was going to call me back and didn't. I called back after I got off work which was 5pm the manager I spoke to hung up on me. I called on Sunday June 3 and I still had not heard anything to check on my order when I called I asked to speak to a manager I spoke to Pete he then informed me that my order had been cancelled by his assistant store manager without my authorization. So now I have no planters & now I have to replace an order that I did not cancel. We have been loyal customers and never had an issue such as this. Beyond pissed at this point. I ordered a new fridge, paid the extra to have the old one hauled away. First off it was supposed to be delivered on the 15th of Nov.. they rescheduled it for the 17th with no call to say it was. After I had someone miss work to be there for the delivery, they where no call no show ( sorry I live in BFE but its still in your delivery area) So 17th rolls around. I'm told wednesday that on thursday evening I'd get a call telling me an approximate delivery time on friday. No call. So again have someone there. I finally get a call an hour AFTER I was told by customer service that it would be delivered that they where just leaving the store and their 45 min away.. ok cool finally on track.. NOPE, they say I didn't pay the haul away charge ( which is CLEARLY shown on my confirmation and as a $15 adjustment on the end on my bill) But my son was told that it wasn't paid so they dropped the new one and left. ANOTHER call to customer service, on hold for 20 min... she pulls up the order, "yes it shows you where billed the haul away fee" I said well the old fridge is still in my yard. she says " let me reach out to the store and let them know to pick it up". If is not picked up by the end of my work day I'm afraid that I might not be allowed in Lowes ever again after I go have a conversation with the store manager about their stores customer service. Don't get me started on the fact that when you order something and they call to tell you its in they NEVER EVER EVER identify themselves or the store even on voice mail they just hang up. read more

Washing machine delivered, crew was very young, twice dropped the machine. Hooked it up partially and because it needed an alteration on a hook up pipe didn't wait around. Didn't level, didn't test and turned out there was a missing part. When Lowes's called, given a mild brush off and never heard back. Noticed customer service getting worse over last year, staff generally clueless about products or uses. Only fact that they usually have better selections and prices keep me there........ but it's wearing thin. read more

If you are expecting these folks to actually do what they say when you are using them to arrange an install of product purchased from them, using their contractors, you're going to be sorely disappointed. Be prepared to call repeatedly to push the process yourself, force the install appointment to happen, etc. Product is OK, pricing is a bit high, and watch the contract carefully to get in print what you've been told in person. read more
