After living in the area for around 2 years now, this Lowe's has become our go-to. Not only due to convenience, but they have upped their service game recently. While Service Desk and Garden Center are still a bit rough, the paint counter, registers and floor associates are helpful and friendly most of the time. I began this project in February 2026 by visiting the Dickerson Road Lowe's location. The measurements were completed in March 2026, and I was originally told that the door would arrive around May 3 or May 5. However, the delivery and installation were delayed multiple times. I received several phone calls advising me that the expected date had been pushed back to June 15, then the end of June, then June 22 or 23, and finally on June 29, I was informed that the door had arrived but the framework, hardware, and other installation materials had not. Later that same day, I was called again and told that the framework, hardware, and remaining installation materials would be delivered on July 1, with the door to be delivered on July 2. On both days, I had to remain home for most of the day waiting for the deliveries. When the installation materials were delivered on July 1, I specifically instructed the driver to take everything to the back of the house and place it inside. Instead, the materials were left on the concrete driveway. Shortly afterward, a severe storm occurred, and the materials were exposed to heavy rain. On July 2, when the door was delivered, I again specifically instructed the delivery team to place the door inside the house. Instead, they parked in front of my neighbor's house on the opposite side of my home rather than using the driveway and left the door outside near the back of the house instead of placing it inside as repeatedly instructed. Soon afterward, another severe storm occurred, leaving the door exposed to the weather. The door and installation materials remained outside through multiple rainstorms and extreme summer heat before I received another call regarding the project. After everything that had occurred, I informed Tiarra that I wanted a full refund. I made this request after the Fourth of July but before July 10, well before the scheduled installation date of July 22. In addition to the repeated delays and improper handling of the materials, I also discovered that the door did not appear to be the correct color. I ordered a black door, but the door that was delivered appeared to be white. The door, framework, hardware, and all other installation materials remained exposed to repeated rain and excessive heat until they were finally picked up before July 20. Because of the repeated delays, the improper deliveries, the failure to follow my instructions, the weather damage caused by leaving the materials outside, and the incorrect door color, I requested a full refund. I am requesting that the entire purchase amount, as shown in the attached documentation, be credited back to my Synchrony account so that the account reflects a zero balance. I have also been trying to reach you, Ms. Luke, today regarding this matter. The phone rings repeatedly, but no one answers. After signing into my Synchrony account, I am trying to determine why the refund issued does not result in a zero balance. I have attached documentation showing both the original purchase amount and the remaining balance on my Synchrony account. I did not have an existing balance with Synchrony before making this purchase through Lowe's. Therefore, once the full refund is processed, my Synchrony account should have a zero balance. Please review this matter and correct the refund amount so that my Synchrony account is paid in full and reflects a zero balance. Unfortunately, based on this experience from the repeated delays and lack of communication to the improper handling of my order and the delay and unresolved refund issue, I have completely lost confidence in Lowe's installation services. Went to this Lowe's to return/exchange a faulty Kobalt lawn mower. I came correct with all the necessary info (return #, order #, item # and the damaged items), but this was apparently too complicated for the Lowe's employees at this location. Waited an hour for all the buck-passing until a "manager" finally told me 'their systems were outdated' so they could not process the return. I know computers might be tough to handle if you're a Lowe's employee, but the lack of service here was inexcusable. I was in the store for an hour with zero resolution, misinformation from the "supervisors" and of course all the waiting waiting waiting in an otherwise empty store. Managers passed me by without a word or a glance as they walked out to get their McDonald's. Drove 2 miles north to the Lowe's on E Campbell Street and the exchange was made in 5 minutes. This Lowe's is on Dickerson Pike by the Skyline shopping center that is close to Walmart. I went in for a 4:00 pm interview, 10 minutes early, on 12/30/2025 and the interviewer was there and told me to come tomorrow after 6:00 am and maybe he would have time to interview me. I now know why I have never really shopped there. Overpriced garbage on the shelves for people who don't really know home improvement. Three different people went to look for it and never came back. I pushed the button for paint and no one came. I asked the lady texting on her phone if she could send someone. Extremely disappointing experience. Bought a washer and dryer and had a 2-6 pm. At 7 pm I had heard nothing and I started calling the store and it took me over an hour of multiple phone calls and being put on hold just to be disconnected until I got an agent at a little after 810 that told me they were just running behind. The purchase experience in the store was fine. Associates were nice. The problem happened after the purchase of a water heater. After I installed the water heater, it did not work. Reached out to the manufacturer who interpreted the code as faulty heating element. Drained and uninstalled the water heater to return to Lowes. Asked Lowes if they would compensate in the exchange for my time in effort with faulty merchandise. They said No. I asked for full refund and went to Home Depot to make new purchase. I wish I could give Lowe's zero stars -Bought a 3K fridge -They didn't bother to ask, just gave me a date & 4 hour window it would be here -after sitting home my entire Sunday, they came 2 HOURS after the window -spent 38 minutes on chat until she FINALLY gave me the number for the delivery dept, after offering Xmas to help- thanks Charlie! -fridge was massively damaged -call prior to 8am to reschedule (rude) -called back the number she left- on hold for 25 minutes, then wasn't even the right person, ANOTHER 20 minutes on hold -customer rep could not have possibly cared any less. Lots of sighs and "haaaaangg on" -asked for a supervisor, he refused, told me he didn't have a boss, then hung up -called store and spoke with a manager and her response was pretty much "oh well, we've been trying to fix deliveries for a year" Great job guys. NOTE: If the Manager (Dickerson Rd. Nashville, TN) or District Manager would have called us back this would have been 5 stars but instead I'm giving them 0 stars. I purchased right at $4,000 of appliances 10/22/22 to be delivered that Sunday and had planned on going back for a stove and a right up freezer. I give the salesman (Peter) and the lady at the desk (Kelsey) that helped him/us at the counter 5 stars. They called me that morning because they had only one item, so we said no problem and it was rescheduled for that next Sat. The driver called me that morning saying they were headed my way. All went well until my husband, and I head a load noise when the driver was leaving. The driver hit our fiber optic cable line pulling it completely down from our house dragging the line into the street. There is no way the two guys didn't hear it but just keep driving. I immediately called the driver and have to leave a VM which they never called me back. We called the store and was told the manager said he was too busy to take our call at the moment and would call us back. As the day went on, we called back, and they finally let us speak to an assistant manager just to find out he had left for the day. She took our complaint and said she would have Shane call us back and refused to give us the name or contact info for their district manager but agreed to ask her district manager to contact us as well. Here it is 11/16/22 and neither the store manager (Shane) nor their District Manager (Brandon) has yet to reach out to us. The assistant manager failed to realize people can find out just about anything they want/need online. Literally all we wanted was for them to acknowledge the issue and apologize for the inconvenience. No apology will be accepted even if they decide to call after seeing my review. They need new leadership that cares about their customers. I will also give 5 stars to AT&T because within 4 hours they had a tech out and it fixed for free. AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COST! I ALWAYS prefer Home Depot over Lowe's anyday. their service is always terrible and I wouldn't give them a dime more of our money. I ordered a fridge and was told it would be delivered on 02/21 by 4 different people and that they would not give me a 4 hour window even though the receipt says I would be given one. They did say it would be between 8am - 8pm. I called back at 7:45pm only to be told that they don't even have the fridge. I went through 3 more people to get a supervisor just to tell me that it would get to their store on 02/24 and be delivered on 02/25. I just7 called to confirm drop off tomorrow only to be told delivery was moved to March 3. I won't even be in town that day. I understand delivery dates getting moved, but there has been 0 communication and the customer service reps don't know how to even read my order. If I could give zero stars, I would. I used to be a huge Lowes supporter but this last transaction shows how little they care about their customers. Ordered appliances 3 weeks ago and encountered issues on every step of the transaction. After multiple trips/calls they notified me that my items were in stock and said they would deliver. The delivery was scheduled and of course no delivery showed and no one called. I called the customer service desk and no one picked up the phone. I drove up there to figure out why my items were never delivered. They blamed the third party shipping but it turns out they never ordered the appliances and couldn't give me an answer on when they could order or deliver. I understand things happen and it's tough to run an operation of that scale. My biggest issue is that management did not care one bit. We stopped one day after work at the Lowe's in Madison and was greeted and assisted by Steve Smiley (great name and it suited him well!). Even though we weren't buying the appliances there - we were going to purchase at the Lowe's in Kentucky - he was extremely helpful. He wasn't pushy, and he explained to us the best way to get the best deal. He worked up an estimate for us to take to the KY Lowe's that guaranteed the current sale prices. As with any major store, customer service experience will depend who is on shift and how their training was completed...so every journey to Lowe's is different. I actually really like this Lowe's as I've had usually good customer service. Sometimes it's been near impossible, but others have gone above and beyond by walking me straight to what I needed in addition to seeing if I needed more help beyond that one item. Returns are simple and have there own entrance and the rest of the store is well organized and clean. Nothing makes them stand out from average, but definitely a good model for other lowes to learn from! read more

We always have a fantastic visit at this Lowe's location when it comes to stock and the friendly associates that work there. Our only compliant is the frequency of times my husband and I are approached by homeless and/or individuals asking for money in the parking lot. At times, we have a concern for our safety. It would be greatly appreciated if the parking lot of this location could be monitored 24hrs by security. If not, we will look to shop elsewhere in the best interest of our safety. read more

I needed a few things for my garden including mulch. I knew the fastest option is park by the mulch and use the garden center doors but the garden section doors were not open. I was forced to walk to the main entrance then back to the garden section. I got what I needed and saw the lines clearly set up ready for customers to b use the register but when I walked to the register the employee refused to ring up my transaction and said I had to go inside to the opposite side of the store then walk all the way back to my car to get mulch because the GARDEN CENTER IS NOT OPEN IN THE MIDDLE OF SUMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After spending thousands of Dollars at this store I reached my wits end. Early June I ordered a whirlpool frigerator online and stood by for delivery. The delivery guy had called me and said he was 15 minutes away and I said OK great. 20 minutes pass by and my husband walks out into the garage only to see that the refrigerator was dropped off in my garage. No knock, no doorbell, nothing. Thank God my garage door was open or they may had left it on the driveway. They just literally came in to my garage and dropped the fridge right off in there. That's creepy. My neighbor helped my husband install the refrigerator only to learn that the freezer was not working. I called Lowe's and after about four days Of communicating back-and-forth with customer service and a whole bunch of "so sorrys that's awful" I finally was able to reach somebody. I believe He was the manager whose name was Zach. He told me that I would have my refrigerator swapped out in about two days. I waited eagerly only for a Lowe's to come and pick up the broken refrigerator WITHOUT the drop off of a new fridge. Since the freezer was broken and I had put my food in the fridge I had to throw away all the food that was in the fridge as I was not able to transfer the food in to the new fridge which was promised. WASTEFUL and financially intrusive as I have 3 kids under 7 and a husband whom we're dependent on this food. After about two days again of trying to get a hold of a manager at the store to see where the new fridge was we finally had a pick up (after being connected numerous times only to be disconnected) and zack promised a fridge the next day. Guess what? Fridge did come. Fridge is broken. I've spent a whole week being passed around, told this that an the other and again I am stuck with my second broken fridge, another couple hundreds of dollars spent on food down the drain and who knows how much bad food my kids have intaken. I say this because I recently discovered by my mother who is a food and safety auditor for Costco that the temperature in my fridge is 60 F. This is a hazard. There is no way to tell the temperature ON the fridge. I had to use a food thermometers. Btw... my whole family works for Costco and kept telling me I should purchase from Costco and I was an idiot not to. I am holding back tears in frustration. I believe I am going to take a loss here of nearly $1,800.00. This fridge will eventually end up in the dumps and Lowes will claim it's victory over me. After my father in-law has spent well over 30k in 2 years at Lowe's on wife and my account in which he he is authorized user the associate Zach would not call the customer service number on the back to verify and refused to sell him the products at Lowe's. He also made a comment saying he would tell me in 2 different languages no he wasn't using the account which I find odd as he refused to speak to me when my father tried to hand him the phone. Very disappointed in the Lowe's as one I used to work at Lowe's and also extremely disappointed in how you would treat my father in law who has spent ample amount of money at the greater Nashville locations. Zach also should realize that a simple phone call to the card holders authorizing the purchase should do as we have well over 100 transactions done this way in 2021. We went through Lowe's to have our flooring redone. It was a nightmare. Someone came out and measured and told us we'd have an estimate from Lowe's the next day or two. After a week and a half of calling every day we were finally told they had the estimate ready. I told them I'd come in and check the estimate and was then told they actually didn't have everything put together and said I'd need to come in a different time. Fine, I come in when they complete the contract and sign. I get a call from the installer and she is trying to schedule the installation for 4 days out. I asked if the supplies would be delivered in time as I hadn't heard from Lowe's delivery. She was shocked and said her system showed everything had been delivered. She told me to call Lowe's. I call Lowe's, get bounced around as no one can tell me if delivery will show up in time, I'm told stuff is on back order and hasn't shown up, then I'm assured everything is here but that they can't deliver until 4 days from now .Now I have to call the installer and reschedule. Today is the day of delivery and Lowe's called to tell me they'd be dropping all the supplies off in the drive way. Time out, why would they do that? I'm required to be home presumably to let them in. Turns out it's an extra freaking charge to drop the crap off inside my house. No one's told me this. Friends, if you've made it this far you're probably wondering what the benefits of contracting with Lowe's was. Well I can confidently say there are zero benefits. I had to track them down for the estimate. I had to complain to get them to put together the contract. I had to do all the scheduling. And now I have to carry all the delivered items into my house. Might as well have cut out Lowe's, done the order myself and called the contractor for the install. Update: The supplies were delivered and stuff was missing. Apparently the store didn't have an item but didn't feel the need to tell me at any point leading up to the delivery or after delivery. I'm now trying to track down the item myself at a competitors store because I have no faith in Lowe's to correct the mistakes. read more

It's my local Lowe's so I'm here all the time but today I decided to tackle the drip in my shower. I may have been a plumber in my past life, but I sincerely doubt it. Took me months to even figure out how to turn my water off to the house (turns out it's real easy, pun intended). Anyway, like an American tourist in a non-English speaking land, I wandered into the plumbing aisle armed only with the face plate of my faucet and a willingness to ask for help. Thankfully, RICK was there to explain what I needed and how to do the repair. I went home, with the confidence of a lion who stumbled upon an antelope injury ward, and I got to work. On step 5, I ran into trouble, released a slew of words I wouldn't dare say in front of the lions or antelopes, and went back to Lowe's. Ready to give up and call a pro, I found RICK again, explained the sitch, and he said: no, this is what you need, this is how to do it, this is how much pressure to apply, it's fine, you can do it. Again walking tall like a giraffe who just got up after tripping over some low-land vines he didn't see, I got home, did the back and forth twisting motion RICK told me to do, with my new vice-grips that RICK told me a needed, and voila, the pesky and low-quality plastic faucet cylinder came out. I replaced it, did all the things RICK told me to do, turned the water to the house back on, and... the drip is gone. I couldn't have done it without RICK and I owe him a huge debt of gratitude. bait and switch two employees on two separate phone conversations at the Dickerson Pike store told me that they would waive the delivery fee on a new appliance. so i ordered the appliance online and it was delivered to the store. however, when it came time to actually set up the delivery i was told that they in fact would NOT do it for free and that I would need to pay an extra $65 delivery fee. okay, well, I new they were doing me a favor but it seemed like it was a little late for them to change their mind....so I asked to speak to the store manager and he ("Will") was not willing to even entertain the possibility that I had been told this by ANY employee of his store. "Will" went so far as to suggest that I had instead called a different Lowes by mistake (lol, twice apparently). after I got off the phone with "Will" i checked my call logs and he was in fact wrong--both times I had talked to somebody in his store (ie, the Dickerson Pike store) and both people I had talked to there had--very politely i would add--OFFERED (ie, I didn't even ask) to waive the delivery fee. TL;DR local Lowe's took a perfectly loyal customer, essentially accused them of lying, and refused to make a simple concession to make things right. horrible experience read more

This is the worst lowes I have ever been too. The employees are incredibly rude. The whole store is so dirty and the isles are littered with trash and product that hasn't been put up on shelves, you're lucky if you can push your cart down an isle without having to turn around. I have literally had multiple cashiers sigh and roll their eyes at me for no reason. Today I was going to buy $100 worth of plywood and needed it cut at their wood cutting service, after waiting for 20 mins and having 3 different employees tell me they were getting someone to help me, someone finally came to help and told me NO because they only do "1 to 2 cuts" and I needed a grand total of 5 cuts. I spend thousands of dollars a month at hardware stores for my job and I will never spend my money here again. Get your shit together Lowes. read more
