The AI system Lowe's has for calling to see if something in stock is available just Blows. Three times I called and the first time it gave me 1,042 different options available, then it just started reading oof all of them. Had to hang up. Second and third time it mentioned plenty in stock, when I showed up the store was empty of that product. 50 minutes round trip sucks . The system is not user friendly and really works against you when confirming to talk to an associate. read more

Store is Ridiculous. Just moved to the area and went to get a dishwasher. Found what we wanted only to have to walk around the store to find an associate to help. Finally got help and it wasn't any good. Sat there with my pregnant wife for an hour while they tried to figure out how to sell us a dishwasher. For the 5th time after setting up delivery for Friday and giving our address 5 times, Friday comes and no dishwasher, no call, no email. Call the store and they say oh, this is going to be delivered in 2 weeks. Terrible customer service, communication and overall experience. I really wish 0 stars was an option. This star only for the sales person who handled the same And made sure I got the delivery dates that I wanted it. Unfortunately it was down hill from there. The delivery guys come in on Sunday as promised but did not make the delivery since the installation kit that I bought was not available. So I refused the order. I got a call from customer service saying I could reschedule or even get a refund. I said you know what let me go into the nearest store pick something else out do an exchange. She said all good. I get to the store nope you can't do an exchange here you have to go back to the store you got it from Which is 40 min away. Picked something else any way talking to customer service and they said you'll get a call tomorrow. No call, but I waited another day still nothing. I went into the store I got the order from since it close to my work. The sales person said just go to customer service and they will take care of it. I go to customer service the manager there clueless as can be with no customer service skill at all. Passes the job to yet another person who said no they need to locate the item first that I did not receive before they give me a refund. At this point I am angry with them because I was told to go into the store and that was not the case. I did say WTF! All manger did was like don't curse at my store. Which you know I will if I am frustrated with something that supposed to be fun! Get out of my store he said. 0 customer service. The only way to review this Lowe's is to compare with all the other Lowe's I've wandered into over the past century. (I won't even comment on the guy who really believes that Nascar is somehow a "sport" and that a car's corporate sponsor has anything to do with reality. That car that says it is a Ford? Wake UP!) Where was I? Oh, yeah. THIS particular Lowe's isn't so great. Here's why. I've been here a few dozen times. I'm a contractor. I have needs. Having said that, though, I really just walk right up to what I need and pile it into the cart. I don't ask questions, I don't make a fuss, and I don't spend a lot of time looking around. Here's what happened this afternoon: (And it is representative of a typical visit at THIS Lowe's) The two main things I needed were NOT stocked. I had to climb up on a rack for one item, then wait around for two jugheads to fetch a forklift and lower the second item down. Now, these aren't unusual items; they had been neglected in re-stocking. My fifteen minute stop turns into a forty-five minute burning of the mid-day oil. I'm not happy. (For the record, the ratio of staff to customers while I was there was roughly three to one.) Then, to the checkout. I have about two hundred items. Many are duplicates. I take pains to keep the similar items together, but does the check out woman bother? Nope. She scans. Every. Single. ITEM. Including lengths of pipe. Do you not notice a pattern here, lady? Do you see how I stacked all the same types of pipe together? (It didn't sweeten the deal to hear the lady complain to her co-worker that she was "burned out" and needed a break. Hey. So do I. Can this conversation wait until I'm out of the store?) Really. This is a warehouse. That's how they cut their costs and keep their profits up. So: if it isn't well-stocked, I lose. If it isn't easy to get in and out, I lose. I debated this afternoon between calling my wholesale house and visiting Lowe's. I clearly made the wrong decision. read more

I ordered a washer, dryer and stove. The washer and dryer arrived as expected. I waited and waited for the stove but it never arrived and nobody called me. I called them on several occasions and I could not get through as nobody picked up the phone. Twice I had to drive back to the store only to be told the stove was still at the distribution center and would come within a week. I waited a month and nothing. I drove back to cancel the order only to be told to wait even longer. I refused to. They didn't want to refund the tax or the attachment to hook it up. I never got this attachment. They kept telling me it was still at the distribution center. You have to be on top of them to get all your money back. My neighbor ordered a dish washer from the same location and she waited three months to get it. And people wonder why Lowe's is ready to file bankruptcy? I'll give you one guess: they are a mess. read more

I've had generally good experiences here. I bought a washer and dryer and had it installed. The sales person and installers were great. I bought a house and went to Lowes frequently for the improvements. The customer service is spotty, and some employees are more knowledgeable, but that's similar to most big box stores. I don't have any major complaints. Also, the 5% off from the Lowes Credit Card is great. read more

I really like this Lowes. They have very knowledgeable staff esp in the paint dept and the kitchen cabinet dept. I have have purchased probably 50+ gallons of paint from them. All great quality and color. If you don't like your color you can return it. Also I love shopping the returned paints. You can find just what your looking for at a much lower cost. We went to Lowe's Macedonia and had a great experience. My wife and I recently moved here from Hawaii and have been living with an old refrigerator. We found a Refrigerator on clearance but while waiting for a sales associate another customer grabbed a hold of it. Jon who works there apologized and found us another refrigerator and gave us a great deal on it. More than the discount on the appliance we were very pleased that Jon was very professional and courteous he turned a bad situation into a wonderful experience. Finally I just left and went to Home Depot where two employees were available to help. As I type this my paint is being mixed in fact. OH MY LORD! THIS STORE IS FANTASTIC! I do not even know where to start. First of all, the reliability of this Lowe's location is the toppest of all notches. I always feel safe when I am shopping here, and it has become my favorite pass-time. I love admiring the hammers, the wheel barrows, and even (on special occasions) the lawn mowers. Little disclaimer, I promise I do not look at the lawn mowers on a routine basis. I save that as a treat for special occasions only. Now, I also feel the need to address one of my favorite parts of this store...THE SMELL! Every time I walk into Lowe's I get the most euphoric feeling. The smell of weed killer, pesticides, and freshly chopped lumber fills my nostrils with the greatest smell of victory. You truly cannot lose here. Since July 2020 I have been in a 8 month battle with Lowe's in Macedonia. Lowe's customers and potential customers should be aware of Lowe's scams. I contacted Lowe's because they offer deck installation services. I was put into contact with James Bosley, who is the salesman. In May James came out to the residence to give me a quote on how much the new deck will cost. During the consultation James told me that he has a decking contractor who does a quality job and he highly recommends, Brian Jenkins, from MJ Fence. James went on to tell my parents and I he would trust Brian to "take cake off his grandmother's deck and is highly reliable". During the consultation we felt very confident and with applying for the Lowe's Credit Card we could afford a quality deck without compromising. July 2020 Brian came out to my parents residence and met with my parents and I to run over the details of the deck installation. Brian stated that there is a wood shortage due to COVID-19 however he works closely with his suppliers so he can push for the materials and we should not listen to the Project Coordinators who were based out of Illinois. Little did I know that Lowe's project coordinators were based out on Illinois and have zero knowledge on how to coordinate projects. Brian also stated that he will be able to start in a few weeks. During this time the project coordinator who was the original project coordinator was giving me updates on material and start date status. I was very confused on why Brian would tell me not to listen to the project coordinators and the project coordinators are stationed in Illinois. In July I contacted Brian to get an update on when the project will start. Brian said he will be out in July to start. I made a change to the deck plan and expanded the deck. The contract stated the anticipation to start is 9/3/20 anticipation completion is 10/3/20. James told us that we do not have to worry about these dates because the deck will be completed before these dates. Brian was supported to contact me regarding the new changes and I never heard back from Brian ever again. During this time the project coordinator told me that they are still waiting on material for the deck. The project coordinators gave me a run around for 2 months of them not knowing where the materials are. As well as not knowing why Brian Jenkins, from MJ Fence went MIA on my project. I reached out to James Bosley and he stated that he is not involved with the project any more. Little to be known to James that at the end in October Lowe's breached their own contract and not even the salesman knew. If a customer branched Lowe's contract the customer was going to adhere to the consequences. Now being December no one has provided answers to why the project coordinators failed to do their job. Why did the contractor disappear from the job he was hired to do. Why can no one provide explanations to Lowe's breaching their own contact and the salesman never knew about it but to find out from the customer? It has taken 8 months of me trying to get answers on why Lowe's is incompetent to provide decking service. Also, after filing my dispute with Synchrony bank in August they promised the dispute will take 60 days and will refund the money. Synchrony bank also failed to close the dispute within 60 days. Synchrony bank was with holding by refund. Once again giving excuses on why the dispute was never resolved. It was not until I reached out to Lowe's executive consumer department when they told me that my project was still open. After, all that I have been through my project case at Lowe's was still open and not even Synchrony bank knew. I do not recommend Lowe's for any home improvement services because they are scammers and they breach legally binding contract read more

I have visited this Lowes location two times with the intention of buying some items. This past summer, I was looking to buy a gas grill and I found out one of their competitors had a Char-Boil grill on sale. I found an almost identical grill at Lowes but it was 15 square inches smaller and twenty dollars more. I asked an associate to price match the grill since that's what they advertise. He had to get a manager approval. The manager finally comes over and told me she would not beat the price. I was not happy with the manager treated me so I drove across town to their competitor to buy the grill. They lost a $180 sale on that day. Last night, I had to get various items around the house. Last week, I received a text for 10% off any purchase from Lowes. My purchase was going to be around $120. The cashier told me that I needed a printed version of the coupon. I was like how do you get a print a text message?? She agreed that would be hard to do so she started to typing in the promo code for the discount. Then a supervisor saw what she was doing and yelled at her. The lady said I could not used the coupon here. I told her there's no exclusions in the text message. I felt like I was talking to brick wall with the supervisor so I left the items on check out counter and left. I just dont understand how this store operates, losing sales and treating customers like they do. Today I'm heading to Home Depot to buy my items. read more

Purchased an upscale washer and dryer in April with the extended warranty, It's August and I placed a repair request for the dryer. Called, went through all the information that they needed, they gave me another number for the service call, called them and made the appointment. No sooner than I got home tonight and Complete Appliance called me to reschedule. This must be another, we use another company to really do the work. The lady was a gem, a too bad so sad changing your appointment and I don't care what you think. Called Lowe's they don't care. Take your rescheduled appointment because we don't give a crap, LIARS. Buy from a company that cares, sometimes these big retailers could care less because some other unsuspecting buyer walks in the door anyway. My family has purchased appliances at Lowe's because Home Depot does not honor military discounts if their product is on sale. I can tell you, it will not matter now. Very poor customer service at this Lowe's. The manager, Jim, was rude, disrespectful, and unappreciative of our business. Over the past 18 months we have spent almost $10,000 at the store between the blinds, carpet, paint, and appliances we purchased for our home. We are now moving to a new home and used the 10% movers discount. We purchased more than $2000 worth of lighting, storage units, lawn mower, door locks, door handles, shelving, and other smaller miscellaneous items on one receipt. We needed to purchase them all at one time because the coupon was only good for items purchased on one receipt. The day we got the keys to the house we moved all of these items in. We discovered that two of the lock sets we purchased were the wrong style and a set of lights were also wrong. Additionally, in reviewing our receipt we saw that there was one item that they did not charge us for. We went back to the store two days after the original purchases. We returned the lighting and locks that were incorrect. When we asked them to honor the 10% on the replacement locks and lighting the manager, Jim, told customer service that he would not permit it. We had even given back the light that they forgot to charge us for. When I asked to speak directly to the manager, Jim, he was obnoxiously rude and made me feel like I was a criminal. He told me that he was not going to give me an open ended 10% off discount. When I explained I was not requesting that type of discount he said that I needed to prove that I was not buying anything else except for the exact locks and hanging lighting fixture. He would not permit any other items. He rudely told me that I absolutely should have returned the item that I was not charged for. I told him that I agreed and that is why we did. I have never been so insulted in a store before. The manager, Jim, needs to take some lessons in customer service. He is in the wrong business. Home Depot is less than five minutes down the road. We will now be using them for all of our home remodeling needs. read more
