Appliance installers from Lowe's Oklahoma City North May store installed a new electric clothes dryer's cord in my home in a dangerous manner not according to the manufacturer's clearly stated requirements. For the safety of your family, I strongly suggest that you inspect any Lowe's appliance installers' work before they leave your home. I only found that the Lowe's installers' work was deficient when I later moved to dryer to clean behind it. To date, the Lowe's North May store manager has not returned my clear phone message on my concerns, and I plan to correct the issue at my own expense. read more

The employee told me she had only been there three days and suggested checking near the back wall by the garden center. We explained we had already looked there, but there was no attempt to confirm the location or walk us to the item. We then asked Dennis, who directed us to Aisle 6, Bay 2. When that didn't pan out, Houston checked the Lowe's app, which also listed Aisle 6, Bay 2 outside, but he mentioned the app is often unreliable. After several incorrect directions, we eventually found the ice melt outside between Aisles 1 and 2 on an end cap, far from where any employee had pointed us. The issue wasn't effort -- it was lack of accurate information, inconsistent guidance, and systems that employees themselves don't trust. I have a chronic pain condition that strikes randomly and hit while I was there so I tried to limit the amount of time I had to spend there. my order was not ready and the first person I asked for help was not incredibly helpful. I will NEVER buy an appliance at Lowe's ever again. Unless I plan on wasting my time and never getting what I buy from them! I purchased a fridge and a tv stand on Friday 1/30/2026 and was told it would be delivered 1/31/2026 from 9-1 PM. I couldn't make the window so I had my dad drive from Enid to be there. Nobody called to tell me that the fridge wouldn't make it, so I called and was told we don't have the items but they rescheduled me to Tuesday 2/3/2026 with a 3-7 PM time window. My dad drove down again from Enid to be there. No call or update again and no Fridge or tv console. This is Ridiculous! I just did my first curbside experience with Lowe's and it's worth a note of thanks, and good for everyone to know, especially in case things get bad here again. TL;DR - this experience was perfect. I ordered online and selected pickup in store. I arrived and parked in one of the parking places designated as curbside pickup, and called the number on the sign. I read them my order number, and in a few minutes they delivered my item to my car. She scanned the barcode from my confirmation email and we were done. It was seamless, fast, and I didn't have to go in. It is worth noting that the parking lot was absolutely PACKED -- I can't imagine how many people were inside the building, and many of the people I saw going in and out did not have masks. So there's that. This is the time of year when we do a ton to the house and the yard. I will definitely continue utilizing curbside pickup. Just make sure you have your order number handy (and the barcode to scan in the email confirmation) or it will probably be a wasted trip. read more

Went to the Lowes on NW 39th and May yesterday to return four items. After waiting over 40 minutes at the return desk (no lines) for Andy to complete the (what should be) simple transaction, I checked my paperwork to find that Andy had switched the store merchandise card that he gave me for the store credit to one that had a zero balance. (The numbers didn't match) He evidently was going to pocket the $57 that was credited to the card he kept. I asked Andy if he knew that he had given me the wrong card with the zero balance, and he said that he did realize it. I asked was he going to let me leave the store without making it right -- the answer was YES! Even though he had my name, store account number, etc. he wasn't going to reach out to find me on the store intercom or any other way, for that matter. Please be careful at this store, because the manager on duty was so rude to me, he would not even hear my complaint before throwing a drama-queen scene, yelling at me, talking over me, walking off from me and then demanding that I leave his store! This was solely because he did not want to hear me out. This makes me wonder if he was in on the scam. We went into the store to order an interior for ti specific measurements. Summit installations promptly went to take measurements. The order was placed on February 1, 2023. On March 1, 2023, Summit Installations contacted me to get ready for them to come out to install the door. They called me again from Lowe's on May, on March 2, 2023, to tell me Lowes employees couldn't find the special order door anywhere. Baffled I thought 'how do you lose a door?'!' II proceeded to call the store to speak with the store manager to make him aware that this was not good for his business. It took 2 calls to get Simeone to answer. The woman who answered was a bit curt. When I told her I needed to speak to the manager she asked "What about?" So I told her about the list door. She replied "Those things happen sometimes." This Lowe's always has issues with order online and finish in store pickup I feel... I've ordered several home security items in store and they take my phone number saying they will call me once product comes in. I wait a week longer than it should take - finally I have to call and they say "yes your item is ready". When I go to the walkup counter I'm never greeted if Zach is working, tell him the issue and he rolls his eyes right in front of me and asks for someone else to help me. The customer service here is hit or miss. People are either nice as can be or straight up rude to your face! Stock is always low of items it seems and I just much more prefer the Memorial location. I hope Lowe's reviews their arrangement with Airco. I inquired about having a new hot water tank installed and was given a number to call - which turned out to be Airco. The Airco rep. lied to me and presented an estimate for the purchase and install of a new 50 gallon hot water tank of almost $3,000 ($2,900 and change). Interestingly the estimate included a hot water tank that would not actually be from Lowe's... Which I find very interesting They said I needed to have my vent pipe upgraded from single-wall to double-wall in order to be 'up to code'. The vent pipe is already double-walled. I don't like being lied to, nor overcharged. I ended up purchasing the hot water tank myself and installing it myself (which is how I figured out it had a double-walled vent pipe all along). read more

I purchased a Maytag washer in june 2022, which was delivered to my home...it had a water sensor on it. Used it 3 times, every time my clothes would come out dirty or half dry half wet. The machine would not give me enough water, I then manually adjusted the settings as described on the manual. However got the same results. I went back into the store Friday September 16, 2022... Explains the situation to the manager, told her I wanted to exchange it for a GE washer with no water sensor, because I just wanted my clothes to be clean. She informed me the first they would have to pick the old one up then they would have to reschedule at a later day to have the new one delivered so the system would not double charge me. Monday September 19, 2022 they picked up the existing washer. I called the store to confirm delivery of the replacement and was given the date Saturday September 24, 2022. I then learned of a funeral that I needed to go out of town to attend, so I called to reschedule asked Bethany if it could be delivered the next day Sunday September 25th, and was told no because the truck will not be in your area until Tuesday September 27, 2022, which was scheduled. I called back later that day to confirm , this time spoke with a gentleman, he stated that I was scheduled for Saturday September 24, 2022. Again I explained it was supposed to be rescheduled for Tuesday September 27, 2022 as I will be out of town for a funeral, he rescheduled. The next day, I called again to check this time they confirmed Tuesday September 27, 2022. The night before I received an automated phone call confirming delivery for Tuesday September 27th with the delivery window for 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for which I had to take off work for. The delivery driver called me about 10:15 a.m. stating he would be there in about 15 minutes. I waited and waited then I noticed I had gotten a call and a voice message was left it was the delivery driver. I called him back and said I see I just missed your call he said yeah I'm at your house knocking on the door no one's answering the door. I explained to him I'm at home and asked him what the address was he at, he gave me an address that was not mine I explained to him I'm at home that's not my address he then stated well you'll have to call and have them reschedule you. To which I stated unacceptable I took off work to receive this and I need the washer delivered today. He said, well ma'am I'm not in your area so it will have to be rescheduled. I called the company spoke with the manager Brent, explain the situation he said he would look into it and call me back. He then called me back and stated it would need to be rescheduled as the driver is not in his area I explained this is unacceptable as I took off of work and I expect the washer to be delivered the day I was scheduled for it. Hr said well the driver has 21 deliveries and he will not be able to do it today you'll have to be rescheduled for tomorrow to which I explain that the amount of deliveries he has is not my issue, I was scheduled today. He went to the wrong house and I expect my washer to be delivered today, to which the manager said we cannot deliver it today. I then asked you can't or you won't? I asked for contact information for the district manager he gave me the name and number and then said but we still can deliver it tomorrow. I said I'm not taking off work again unless you're going to pay my salary he said no we can't do that but I can offer you a discount. I don't want a discount I want the washer that I purchased on the day that you scheduled me for to which he said we can't do that. I called the corporate number was told I needed to speak to a local manager and put on hold, then the connection was lost. I called back, a nice lady took the information and said someone would contact me within 24 hours. I sent emails to everyone that I could find connected to Lowes, even their president. A paying customer should not be expected to wait an additional amount of time after purchasing it a defective washer, and the delivery driver went to the wrong address. They had been to my home two times previously, why they could not find it a third time is perplexing? By 1pm I received a call to bring out the replacement washer. Good Customer Service is not a hard concept.. Quality products and services should be given anytime a customer chooses your establishment (over other optto spend their hard earned money. I like this store and have had good service and shopping experiences over the years. I hope it's just a fluke that I grabbed a package of glue sticks during a hurried errand for my husband and had to return it the same day because it had been opened, some glue sticks removed, and taped closed. I thought maybe a shoplifter did it, but my husband says sometimes employees restock bad products. My brother built me something and we came here to get the wood! According to my brother, the lumber expert, Lowe's has better quality lumber than Home Depot. So we get there, get the wood we need, and head over to the cutting machine to have them cut 3 of the pieces of wood. No one was there, so my brother went to the front to have someone paged. And we then we waited. After awhile I went up to ask if anyone was coming and they paged someone again. Still no one. Finally, after 3 intercom pages and probably 30-40 minutes, someone came to cut 3 pieces of wood. It took one minute to complete the task. I prefer the smaller, local nurseries and home improvement stores over the big box stores, but I actually am okay with this Lowe's because it carries local plants, dirt, and compost from around the state. Also, their prices for untreated cedar fence planks (which I use to make raised garden beds) are among the cheapest in the city. They also sell organic peat moss for an extremely reasonable price. Overall, I will always support local businesses over big businesses...but, because Lowe's makes an attempt to incorporate local items into their inventory...I am impressed enough to give them my support (albeit modest) when it comes to some of my garden needs. read more

So I've been on the hunt for chairs and a fire pit. Well we got the fire pit. No big deal no store mentioned cause it was a pain in the butt. So today we went on the hunt for comfortable chairs. We head in to Lowe's after looking in 4 different places. Was starting to believe I was going to have to lose an arm and possibly a leg to get nice chairs or go with the cheap plastic one and wait for spring. We walk through the garden section see some chairs that will do but no what I want. So we go into the store just looking around and spot some patio furniture. They're moving stuff around so the prices are a little mess up so I walk over and ask one of the gentlemen to help me. So I kid you not 5 seconds he's helping me. We picked the chairs, and the sweet guy loaded them on a dolly for us. So HUGE shout out to Brian for the excellent customer service. I'm not joking this guy was super helpful and was the only person to help us after 4 stores. Heck we couldn't even find a person at some of them. Brian you're totally awesome!! In February 2022 we purchased a whole house Generac 24 kw Generator from Lowe's. They contracted with an excellent company called Generators Plus who did an outstanding job on the install. The gas and electric pipes to the generator are very level which is important to us visually. And Generator Plus replaced the old Federal electric panel as part of the "turn key" price. The Lowe's survey expired after a short time so I didn't get to give them a thumb's up. Most companies don't allow enough time to ensure their customers experience is enduring before they expect reviews. So Lowe's missed out on a positive survey but all is going well with the generator. It runs every Saturday for a few minutes during the city's early emergency warning test so to be less annoying to the neighbors and so we have a reminder to make sure it is working. In addition, my husband was able to ensure that the generator was able to actually carry the necessary load to operate essential lights and appliances by tripping the breaker a certain way. Be sure to get the install guys to demonstrate that. We had one issue and Benton Ray at Generators Plus answered his cell phone on the first ring and had a crew out the next day to fix the problem. Can't ask for better service than that. read more

This has to literally be the worst Lowe's in the United States. My husband and I bought new roller shades for our new home over a month ago. Since it is a new home we do not have any blinds or curtains at all. We wanted something to cover our windows fast for privacy. We thought Lowe's might be a good place to go. The first time we go a lady named Irene took our order. She seemed okay, and helpful. We had to call and ask Lowe's over and over when they wouldn't come to install or measure, because after 1 week they lost our order. My husband and I had to go pick out blinds again, then we were charged more than what was originally promised by Irene. They finally come measure, and a week later try to install, but only 5 of the 10 blinds fit. I tried calling, and literally can't get ahold of anyone. They pass you around and keep putting you on hold. I finally spoke to a manager named Christopher. He said that we can bring the ones that don't fit back, and he would send someone out again to do the measurements again. The people that did the measurements did them right the first time, Lowe's just can't cut them properly. Another week later the same guy comes to measure. We don't get a call about install so my husband calls to see if we can just pick them up, and hang them ourselves. A lady named Jaunita told him he could. He gets there to pick them up, and a guy from the window Dept says that he cannot take them. I call Jaunita today tell her they would not let my husband take the blinds. She was kind enough to offer to bring them to our home and drop them off herself. If I was going to give anyone stars it would be her. She has been understanding, and has tried to help since day one. Everyone else there is incompetent, and rude. After she dropped them off my husband and I tried hanging them. They were cut too big. So I call and talk to a manager named Brent or something? He does nothing. He doesn't even a refund or discount. This is absolutely ridiculous. He actually offered for them to come measure again. Why would they need to send someone to measure a 3rd time?! This is insane. It's not the people taking measurements, it's this particular Lowe's they suck! My husband and I had to take off of work/school during the week for these measurements and "installations" not to mention drive back and forth to Lowe's about 5 days out of the week. I feel like this Lowe's should be closed down forever! They give all Lowe's a bad name. Don't use this place! read more

I'm positive this store would be a 5-star if my boyfriend were reviewing; however, we have ventured into this location and not found less-than-awesome selections that prompted another visit to a competitor. BUT -- overall we frequent this store once a week. The layout is super easy to understand, and it is not difficult at all to find an associate for assistance. We've had great interactions with the customer service station, lumber department, and garden section. Wifi is available complementary. They didn't meet their contract deadline. When I called to speak with the manager there was no apology. He did say he would have someone call me back in three days...after already missing the deadline. No apology. No discount offer. When I asked if he would at least apologize for missing the deadline he hung up on me. His name was Miguel. I'll never be back other than to return the plumbing supplies already purchased. Very disappointed in the computer system inability to look up prior transactions even though items were purchased with the Lowes credit card. Unlike other competitors like Ace Hardware or Home Depot when you purchase something with a credit card or phone number, those stores can look up any prior receipts or transactions.
