If I could give zero stars I would. Do not and I warn you do not purchase anything like an appliance from Lowes! They literally will bring a broken appliance and then not take it back. Most places have a 30 day rule. They have a 24 hr rule and also when I called to figure out how to replace a dryer that broke less than 2 weeks after getting it the employee transferred me to 911. I am giving a fair warning to people who are struggling financially and cannot deal with this type of stress. I now get to pay off a broken dryer. read more

Ordering flooring and kitchen cabinets has been a nightmare which is still not over yet. I advise against any contract home improvement jobs with Lowe's. The worst part is that they sub-contract out all the work and you have no idea when the subs will show up, nor is there any quality assurance done by Lowe's in the case of poor carpet installation and insufficient tile removal. The cabinet delivery delayed installation by a whole month due to the contract trucking company failing to load on piece that had to be remade at the factory. Also, a damaged cabinet couldn't be replaced until it was picked up 2 weeks later and evaluated by the factory, now delaying the project another 4 weeks. The sales clerk has irregular hours and so that delays the project a few more days every time when you need to talk to them. read more

I beyond disappointed with the Panama City Lowe's. Back on 6/1/25, I paid a $35 assessment fee for a French door installation project, which was supposed to go toward the total project cost. My door was measured on 6/4/25, and from that point forward, I spent over two months trying to get a simple quote. From 6/6-8/12, I was in contact with "Tito," a Central Selling Specialist, who eventually told me to contact the store for a refund. On 8/19, I spoke with Lance, who promised to call me back (never did). On 8/26, I spoke with Rebecca for over 12 minutes, who said Billy would call me (he never did). Finally, on 8/27, after still not hearing back, I went to the store in person. At the customer service counter, I explained to Billy that I wanted my $35 refunded since I never received a quote. Instead of handling the matter professionally, Billy questioned me, asked to see my emails, became visibly agitated when I refused to hand him my phone, and only refunded me in cash as if doing me a favor. To make matters worse, he "warned" me that in the future I wouldn't be able to get a refund--this was said in front of other employees and customers, which was both humiliating and unprofessional. This entire process was unacceptable. I gave Lowe's ample time--nearly three months--to provide a simple quote, and instead I was ignored, given the runaround, and treated disrespectfully. I ordered a deep freezer on the Lowe's website. It was ready for pick up for the next day, which was great. My husband went inside for store pickup and had to wait over 20 minutes despite the order being ready. They may have been busy - that's fine. The issue is, when my husband unboxed the freezer at home, there was a huge dent on the front right corner. There is no way he caused this dent because the freezer hadn't even been opened. We called customer service and they said we had 48 hours to bring it back for a return. My husband had to drive an hour back to the store and was met with an unfriendly representative. She was rude about the return and had an unpleasant tone. My husband called me and had me on speaker; I asked the associate, "Is there anything you can do about this inconvenience?" This is now hours my husband has spent trying to pick up the item and we paid $200 for it. She said, "No," and that was it. No apology, no offer to do anything, nothing. If there was nothing she could offer, fine, but there was no reason to be so dismissive and unfriendly. VERY DISPLEASED with this entire transaction. read more

I went to Lowe's in Panama City on August 19 2024 . I needed to order samples of a tile that I was interested in for our new home. no one was around to help me. I saw an employee and ask for help. They said they would have to call the person from that dept. I waited for quite awhile and no one came. I walked up to the pro desk area, and a lady was standing behind the desk looking at here cell phone. she finished reading what ever she was reading knowing that I was standing there, and then said what do you need.I said that I needed help in tile. She said she would call someone. I walked back to tile and no one came. I saw the first employee that I ask and he reluctantly came over and said what do you need. I explained to him that I would like to order a sample of some tile that I was interested in, and that was not in stock at the store. He said that was not possible. I then went to home depo . I walked to their tile dept and 3 employees were there asking if they could help me. I said that I needed to order a sample of some tile that I was interested in . They immediately went to the computer and found what I needed. ordered my tile and even sent it to my home so I wouldn't have to make a trip back. apparently Lowe's doesn't care about the customers. I will go to home depo from now on where the employees are willing to help the customer. Also home depo's price was cheaper . read more

I had not shopped at Lowes for a while because of a previous unpleasant appliance experience. But they had a sale on refrigerators, and I decided to give them another chance. Stupid decision. I ordered one and was told they would deliver between eight AM and eight PM the next day and haul away the old one. A twelve-hour window seemed excessive, but I arranged to stay home all day. They didn't come. When I queried, they said something about the truck having an accident. Okay--these things happen--but they could have let me know that delivery would be delayed. They delivered and installed the fridge the next day. The delivery people were pleasant and helpful. However, they said they couldn't hook up the icemaker because I had copper pipes. I have always had copper pipes and an icemaker, and it has never been an issue before. But I was resigned to trying to eliminate the copper pipes. When I woke up in the morning the refrigerator was sitting in a lake that extended across much of my kitchen and well into my den (which has laminate flooring). I tried to move the fridge to see what the problem was--but couldn't budge it. I called Lowes and asked for the appliance department. The man on the phone (unfortunately I didn't get his name) wasn't particularly concerned but finally told me to move the refrigerator away from the wall. I said I had tried that and wasn't strong enough to move it. He said, "Its ON wheels." I am in my 80's and weigh 130 lbs. Apparently moving refrigerators is not one of my talents wheels or no wheels. He finally agreed to send someone out. That was day before yesterday, and I haven't seen anyone yet. The fridge is cold and there has been no more water so I guess I will start moving food from coolers into the refrigerator--and hope for the best. This was the Panama City, FL Lowes. But I will not buy so much as a screwdriver from any Lowes anywhere in the future. I said that before--this time I won't be tempted. read more

Ordered washer and dryer and the necessary parts. Never mentioned I needed a stacking kit for my stackable units, I figured it came with it. What does stackable mean? Went on line to order this $55 part and they wanted to charge me another $90 to deliver. Needed to be delivered because our old butts aren't capable of picking up a dryer and stacking it on the machine. Ordered the right cord but it didn't arrive with the order. Then called and tried to speak to someone and no answer at any point. Inept all the way. The installation guys are great and are working hard to right the wrongs of Lowe's. read more

Ordered a refrigerator/freezer from this absolute backwards company. They expect you to be available the entire day 8am-8pm for them to deliver . They can't give you a window like all other reputable companies I've felt with, I must say their customer service doesn't exist!!! I will be doing the rest of my business elsewhere. Was looking for an edger for the yard and so I went to Lowe's since they have Kobalt. They didn't have what I wanted but they had another brand called Ego. The issue is it didn't come with a battery and they just had a piece of paper to get a sales associate to get the separately purchased battery. Once the lady who was able to finally find it we then realized that neither the tool or battery came with a charger which they didn't have. Partly to blame is Lowe's for carrying that product but also a fail on the company for not packaging things like that. Needless to say went to Home Depot and got what I needed. Only reason they got a 2 was bc the two sales associates were super helpful but the -3 stars was for Lowe's carrying a poorly executed product and wasting their people's time and setting them up for failure. read more

Please please please beware. I signed up for a fence. Couldn't be installed for about six weeks. I decided I didn't need it and called about a week before installation. Was told I would have to go to the store. Went to the store twice before installation time and was told the person I needed to talk to was out of the store. Finally someone was able to cancel the installation and said it was taken care of. Had to go back and talk to the manager and he said Lowes had nothing to do with it. He said besides I had signed a contract which stated I only had three days to cancel FROM THE TIME I SIGNED THE CONTRACT. I have currently retained an attorney. Spoke to Jeff on the phone, he said i needed to come pick up some more tile, they couldn't send it with the installers the next day. Do not even try to purchase an appliance from Lowes in Panama City. I purchased a washer and dryer and was told it would be delivered in 10 days. My delivery date came, and I was told that they would be there between 7:30 and 11:30 am. I hauled out my old washer and dryer and took the laundry room door off the hinges for easy installation. 10:30 Lowes called to say that they could not deliver today because they don't have the washer and dryer, and didn't know when they would. I spoke with the manager. He was going to look into it and call me back, but never did. Called their corporate office only to be told that my estimated wait time on hold would be 2 hours and 20 minutes. I canceled my order. Today I officially became a Home Depot customer. read more

After a no show on the appointment, I reluctantly contacted Lowes again to reschedule. Finally got someone out to do the quote. Received the quote from Summer via email. Left 3 messages by phone and left two messages in person in the tile area (left my name and number in writing), to have someone call me to schedule and pay for installation After 5 attempts in reaching Summer or someone in the tile area, I NEVER received a return call to book my job. These people are beyond unprofessional. They don't care about you or your business. Then they closed my job ou because it had bewn 30 days since th quote was written. Absolute scam. My advice for anyone new to dealing with Lowes, is take your business elsewhere!!! They don't deserve it and I assure you, they do not care. Which they did not. Was told the carpet in in transit and they can't give me a refund til they find it. Very poor customer service on carpet. Go get it somewhere else. We set up a pro account during new home construction. Everything came in at different times but it mostly showed up. 8 weeks after ordering two barn doors with one arriving and the other not, we are told the main door never got ordered? We were even given updates on when it would ship? How is that? Desk people don't know what back yard people are doing half the time. Very unorganized store. Going back to Home Depot. Much more organized. There are some nice employees at this store but everything is just too unorganized. When I did pick up the one barn door that came in, it took over an hour. Frustrated and now with my house almost done I have to go find someone to build a barn door. I'm done. Update. So today I needed to return a few unopened items we bought through the pro desk order. Took about 30 minutes of total confusion, telling me the items were not from there- until I showed them the LOWEs sticker and PO number. I did a refund recently at HOme Depot and it took 3 minutes. Ordered and paid for large cabinet. Paid with debit card so it was immediately paid out of my account. Ordered on Thursday several weeks ago with the promise it would be in the next Tuesday. It was not! When I finally got thru to a person, they had to connect me to another person (another long wait) and they said it had not arrived from the factory. Received a call a couple of days ago saying it would be delivered on Sunday between 11:00 and 3:15 that afternoon. No delivery! I called the freight co. that was to deliver it. They checked with driver and he said he received no paperwork nor the cabinet for delivery. I have tried 3 times to speak with someone at Lowe's. Held each time for more than 20 minutes and finally gave up. I can't even speak with someone to find out how I get my money back. read more
