Lowes need to really get their charging system together. I purchased a dishwasher with warranty and installation for $905 total. There are several other holds on my back account, two for over $700 and two more. When a hold is placed, you can't use that money. If your mortgage or car note came due and the money is there oh well! Overdraft fee or late payment all because Lowes cannot control the process only holding the amount of the purchase. Seems like common sense but not at Lowes. This will be my absolute last time using them for anything. Good luck if you choose to purchase from Lowe's, make sure you have plenty of money in the bank to cover your other outstanding debts. Dishwasher was finally delivered and installed today. Since the last time I've posted, Lowes has placed a hold on my money 3-4 more time.

Appliance Purchase & Install - I purchased a microwave from Lowes (28005 Southwest Freeway, 77471) with an installation. The purchase was placed on 8/11/2023. At the time of the purchase, I was informed that the delivery & installation was scheduled for 8/16. I received the confirmation email from both Lowes & the third-party installer. On the day of the 16th, I was contacted by the installer asking if they needed to pick the microwave up from the store. I said yes. Once they got to the store, they were told that the microwave was not scheduled to be delivered from the manufacturer until the 31st. This was very upsetting. However, we had no choice but to wait for the delivery. Here we are on the 31st. The microwave was finally delivered but Lowes did not reschedule the installation. VERY DISAPPOINTING!. I call Lowes to question this discrepancy. They said that they would schedule the installation now. So...now I must wait for another week before I can get the microwave installed. I do not recommend Lowe to be responsible for installations. If there is a next time, I will hire a third party myself to do the installation.

I didn't know that they use facial recognition software and that's really messed up. It's also against the constitution and illegal. You would think that with all this money spent on the technology to stop shrinkage that they could pay well and actually have some pretty good people working here since they can obviously afford extravagant things. Not so much at this location. Low wages and low levels of interest and attitude from employees.

We have a refrigerated box truck with a hydraulic lift gate on the back. The hydraulic cylinder…read morestarted the week so we contacted the folks at Sapphire hydraulics to see if they can do the repair. This was on a friday. We brought the truck to their location on the following monday. We were assured that they would be able to take care of us as we needed the truck back by thursday. I made several phone inquiries on Monday trying to get an idea of what the cost was going to be to do the repair, since they weren't able to do that on Friday without physically seeing the vehicle. But I was assured that the cost would probably be in the 450 to $500 range. I was unable to get an estimate all day on Monday and drove over on Tuesday to check on something else on the vehicle that we were trying to repair and was unable to get an estimate at that time as well. I made two more calls that morning to try to get an idea what the repair was going to cost and I noticed while I was there that the cylinder was already off of our truck, presumably, already being repaired. As the estimate on Friday was already in my mind, I just assumed since I wasn't getting any response on an updated estimate, that we must be staying under the $500 estimate that I originally obtained. I made a call after lunch to see what progress was made and if we were going to be able to get the truck back by thursday. To my surprise they were already finished! Again I still had no update on the first estimate. As I made arrangements to go over and pick up the truck I received an invoice, in my email. When I opened the invoice I was completely taken back as the invoice, not estimate, was for over 900.00! I immediately called the individual I had been dealing with and voice my, let's just say, outrage. Because now that the work was completed, and I had not received an official estimate, I was on the hook for the whole $900. My mildly complained about the difference in the original estimate and the now invoice price. Upon arriving at the business to pick up the truck, I spoke with someone in the receivables area about the original estimate and the current invoice. This person took my concerns to the owner of the business and eventually they reduced price on the invoice. Not going to go into the details on that part of this, the work appears to be fine, our cylinder and liftgate are performing once again. We are thankful for the repair, but not the drama of not getting an estimate and then having the invoice be double what the original thought was on the price to do the repair.

Take your equipment somewhere else before committing coming here. Get a 2nd and 3rd opinion first…read morefrom a reputable Hydraulic company. See my GOOGLE review for yourself, if you don't believe. Well Sarah since you like to answer reviews and not respond to my emails, we can continue from here. FUNNY YOU SAY THAT - Manuel, we actually agree with one part of your review: customers should absolutely ask questions and get another opinion if they are uncomfortable with a repair. You failed to mention that my truck had to be torn down to come up with an estimate and of course it would have to be re-assembled. Easy for you to say that now after the fact. I came to you after ASKING another company to look at my truck. They never touched or tried to repair it. What made me uncomfortable with them was their lack of responding to give me a quote. You say - we raised concerns about your work / CORRECT WE DID. We paid SAPPHIRE over $9999.77 to properly fix out truck. After picking it up from you we took it out for some work. When we used the truck for1st time after being repaired it was broken again within 45 mins of use. Let's get this straight - we told you exactly what the truck was doing and how long after using it for the hydraulic crane to overheat SO WHY DID IT DO THIS AGAIN AFTER 45 MINS OF USE. Was the truck TESTED? How LONG AND HOW MANY TIMES?? You wanted us to bring you the truck back after it malfunctioned again. Were out in the middle of nowhere and about 175 miles from Houston much less Rosenberg. You are acting like we didn't want to bring it to you but you sure didn't offer to send anybody up there to help us bring down this Crane that is stuck straight up in the air 20ft high. My boss called me and wanted your #. He was highly upset after paying you all of this money (ALMOST 10k) and here he is with THE SAME PROBLEM AS BEFORE. You called me to ask him to calm down - how does he calm down after this embarrassment in front of his customer? AGAIN why would we take the truck back to you when you had your chance and you are sitting on a bag of money. Plus, the MANUFACTURER of the truck wanted to check it out for us and they were NICE ENOUGH TO COME OUT AND HELP US WHEN WE BROKE DOWN. Again, like is said before and i wil say it again. They didn't touch ANYTHING YOU GUYS SAID YOU FIXED OR REPAIRED. What did you need to see if the problem was still there???? They replaced a pump with a dual pump? Lack of hydraulic oil was causing the valves to overheat. Hmmm - remember this Manuel, Thank you for taking the time to update me. I understand your frustration, especially given the impact this had on your project. After reviewing our records and our communications throughout this repair, I wanted to clarify our position. Following the initial repair, when you reported that you were still experiencing an issue, we worked with you over the phone and had our technician speak directly with your personnel on-site in an effort to help diagnose the problem. During our last conversation, you advised me that a third-party technician was on-site and had indicated that the issue did not appear to be related to the repairs we had performed. Throughout our conversations and email correspondence, I repeatedly offered to have the truck brought back to our facility at no charge so we could inspect it ourselves and verify our work. Unfortunately, instead of returning the truck to us for further diagnosis, the decision was made to send it to another repair facility. That facility chose to modify the original OEM hydraulic system by installing a dual-pump configuration. Because another repair facility has since performed additional work and modified the hydraulic system, we are no longer able to inspect the truck in the condition it left our shop or determine whether any remaining issues were related to our repairs or to another cause. As a result, we are not in a position to evaluate or offer any adjustment regarding the repairs performed by our team. We always stand behind our work, which is why we repeatedly offered to inspect the truck at no cost after the issue was reported. Unfortunately, we were not given that opportunity before the truck was repaired and modified elsewhere. We appreciate your business and regret that this situation did not allow us the opportunity to continue troubleshooting the truck with you. _______________________________________________________________________ You apparently don't get it or understand. Your work that you charged us for and you say you did isn't being questioned here. It's your lack of work and what you didn't fixed is the PROBLEM. You charged us all of this money, and we still had a broken truck. Quit acting like the victim here and pretending we did something wrong. More reviews don't create more facts but get your facts straight because people need to know before doing business with you.
