Lowe's location that is in Shepherdsville Kentucky tucked pretty far back off the expressway exit for the city. I've visited this location a few times while passing the time while my Daughters at cheer practice down the street. It is always really clean and the others seem more friendly then other nearby Louisville locations. Also not as crowded as those locations when I've come. So that's always nice. Overall I enjoy Lowe's locations. Now I'm not a big DIY project guy but when we do dabble in it we like the Lowe's locations. They do seem knowledgable and helpful. read more

I selected one star ONLY because that's the only way I could even write a review. Lowe's doesn't deserve ANY Stars. I write a lot of reviews and 95% of them are GOOD reviews with GOOD interactions at places of Business that CARE about their Customers. It's just mind-boggling to me how incompetent that Lowe's has became. Especially, given the fact that hard earned money is being paid for goods and or services. The Saga with this particular location of Lowe's has been going on for about three weeks now. It has almost became comical, however, the frustration level is far above the comical level. My husband went to this location to pick out a new refrigerator; not because we wanted one but because our other one broke down. He was given a Delivery Date, paid for the purchase and left the store. A couple of days later, he went back to the store to get a few items. While he was there he inquired as to about what time the delivery would be. At that time he was told "Oh NO, you're not getting your delivery until a week from tomorrow, NOT tomorrow"! What happened next was NOT acceptable. My husband had every reason to think that the refrigerator he purchased, which had an ice-maker IN IT, on the show room floor, would arrive with an installed ice-maker. It didn't. Instead, he was give a box full of parts. Mind you, my Husband is VERY well equipped in ALL THINGS Mechanical and he knows how to put things together, he has the right tools, skills and knowledge. The ice maker in the box, that he was given, seemed to be like a box full of mis-matched parts that belonged to every other ice-maker out there, but didn't belong to the refrigerator that he had purchased. He FINALLY was able to put all the parts together, however, when he put the ice maker in the freezer part of the refrigerator, it fell apart in his hands and the connecting tube that went to the water hook up fell OUT of the ice-maker and fell INTO the freezer hole in the refrigerator. Needless to say he was very frustrated at that point. He called the store and he spoke to Brian. He told Brian what was going on. Brian told him that there was nothing he could do that day. That the only thing that my husband could do would be to go back to Lowe's, purchase another refrigerator and then WAIT again ANOTHER week, until that one could be delivered. So there we were, having paid for TWO refrigerators with no refund in sight until the first one was picked up by the Delivery people when the brought the other one. The "New" refrigerator was delivered and this time the ice-maker parts were able to be put together and installed. HOWEVER, after waiting 24 hours, there was NO ICE being made. My husband called Lowes again and there was supposed to be someone coming TODAY, Wednesday July 24, 2024. They arrived, and they were ready to take away the new refrigerator and give us something else. My husband asked them about this and told them that it was just supposed to be a repair visit to find out why the ice-maker wasn't working. The people that came didn't know English and my husband was given a phone number to call for someone to translate etc. I'm not upset about that. I realize there are Spanish Speaking people in the work force and those people were only doing what they had been sent to do. This entire situation has just been RIDICULOUS. During part of this when the FIRST refrigerator had been delivered and the ice-maker didn't even go to that refrigerator, I had called Brian at Lowes and tried to explain everything to him. He was NOT even one bit of an ounce apologetic in any way shape or form. All he said was that the Corporate office would call me within 48 hours. The corporate office never called me, so I called them. I explained in detail the situation with the first refrigerator. I was on the phone with the Customer Service person for an entire 50 minutes. When she finally came back to the phone she offered me a gift card to Lowes in the amount of $40.00. I told her that was INSULTING. Meanwhile, we have NO ICE in an ice-maker that we paid for that IS properly hooked up because my husband and his PLUMBING friend cleared out the water lines and had everything ready for the install of an ice-maker. I am just not able to understand how businesses like Lowe's have no regard for their Customers who are spending MONEY at their stores. I will NEVER do business with Lowe's EVER again. read more

Was tossed around by the departments on hold for an hour, hung up on twice without them saying a word to me before, then to finally be transferred to a manager to tell me they couldn't help me. I asked the question within the first 3 minutes of the call, they could've told me that vs tossing me around. Could ever hear them putting me on hold half of the time. Very disappointed. read more

Really enjoyed this Lowes...... It's a bigger Lowes so it offered more then the one by me. The store was clean and organized and the employees were friendly. Besides that it was just your typical Lowes. Free coffee over at the Pro desk (lumber end of the store) and the bathrooms are up in the front. read more

Purchased a new washer and dryer from this Lowe's. Paid to have it delivered and installed. The delivery was screwed up the guys delivered it and did not know they had to stack em, did not hook up the drain hose I had to to that. Then when we ran the first load the washer was making a horrible noise. Looked at washer and found they left the shipping bolts on. Called Lowe's and they were nice but could Not get me a new washer delivered for a week so no laundry for a week. Nothing else they could or would do. So move to this week the same idiots delivered the new washer. Well they had no idea what they needed to do. They tried to take out dryer out my wife had to stop them in the garage. Then they did not hook drain hose again and left water turned off as well as not moving it into the location my wife wanted them to move it to. Last they scuffed up our floor I called Lowe's and the manager was like sorry nothing we can do because we outsource delivery now. He then said they lost money and if there was anything I needed to complain or file damages for the scuff marks I had to take it up with the delivery company I will not go to Lowe's for any future purchase or recommend any appliances from them again. I've been using this location for about 5 years since I loved to MW. I have always had a great experience with getting help from the employees and being able to find exactly what I need pretty quickly. Store and restrooms are always clean. My favorite is their outdoor plants section. I love redoing my landscaping yearly and this is always my first stop ! read more

This is a really nice Lowe's in Shepherdsville I'm so happy that they're building up Shepherdsville the only thing about it is Shepherdsville is getting extremely crowded overpopulated and busy busy busy busy busy but I guess that comes with the territory anytime you build more places people will come. That being said this Lowe's is excellent they have everything you need for Home Improvement it's clean the people are nice and everything is just great I enjoy it I'll go probably every weekend and I recommend you do to 5 out of 5 read more

Today's trip to Lowe's. I had some items that needed to be returned. The sales associate couldn't have been nicer. Then I went to weed eater section again I was helped by the nicest man. I had my weed eater and he showed me how to sting it and then walked me to tools to pick up something my husband needed. My cart had several things that I was buying and a plant I wanted to speak with someone about. The plant I had gotten earlier in summer but was dying. I was walking out to look at plants in front of Lowe's. The sales clerk grabbed my cart and told me to stop. I had to pay for my items. I said I was just looking right in the front and I had done this many times. She began yelling at me about the weed eater-which is clearly used. Said I had to pay for it first. I said it was mine. She said it was setting off alarm so it couldn't be. I mean all you had to do was look at it and seen how used it was. I left my cart and went outside. When I came back and she began to ring me up. She rang up two clearly dead plants after I had told her I had brought them in to ask questions. She argued with me that I had brought them into the store. She was rude and definitely got closer then 6 feet to yell at me. Needless to say I told her there had been a better way to address me from the beginning. She could have simply said stop you can't take unpaid for things outside. This I would have understood. I was so embarrassed that she was basically saying I was stealing my own weed eater. I am really tired of Lowe's. There are to many places I am going to shop instead from now on. The convenience isn't worth it to me any longer. I have bought soo many different items from Lowe's. It is kind of crazy that you can spend so much money on items such as refrigerator, dishwasher, stove and oven, microwave and lawnmowers and they do not stand behind the products they sell unless you pay even more for a extended warranty!! It has been less then a year everything has had problems when you call customer service all they have to say is sorry. So I bought a Porter Cable 20v nail gun. The charger was defective. I took the charger back. I was told I had to return the entire tool. I went home and got the rest of it. I was then told that I had had the wrong battery. That could of been so I went back home and got the only other red battery (that's what it came with). I only had 2 total of the red batteries. I was then told he wasn't sure if that was the right one. I would have to bring it back again on Monday so someone could look at the battery. I kept telling him the batteries are fine it was the charging base. That would make 4 trips to return a defective charging base. I gave up. I have several Porter Cable tools so now I have 4 good bases and 1 defective one...thanks Lowe's read more

Christy was so helpful and courteous! Was looking for tent stakes and fishing line to secure flowers on headstone. She walked me to lawn & garden supply and found tent stakes. So I went to Lowe's to buy a grill. After spending a good hour, me and my wife decided on a Weber. The label on the grill said $519. When we got to the cashier the price rang up as $819. After speaking with the sales person about it, he discovered that the grills were mislabeled. So the salesman explains the situation to "the manager" and gets back to me. He apologized for this mis-hap and told me the price would still be $819. As a consumer I understand that these kind of things happen. I understand that Lowe's can not eat the $300. What I don't understand is the "I don't give F*** attitude. I decided to take my business elsewhere. Whoever is running this Lowe's is asleep at the wheel. I'm going to Home Depot!!
