Tom Terrific here with another honest business review. I bought a house and I like doing my own remodels. I'm putting a new floor in my shed and since i have an SUV not a truck i needed to have the 4 x 8 sheets cut into 2 x 8 to fit in my car. Lowes did mark it at the 24 inch mark but when finished one was one inch lower than the other. That made one at 25 inches and the other at 23 inches. My joists are set at 12 inches so this would not work. I asked for a discount and I would take them. The manager said no so i walked out. I went to Home Depot where they cut the sheets at exactly 24 inches. Finished with my project I tried to return some 2 x 4s to Lowes for a refund. I have a lot of receipts in my box but I could not find that particular one. I asked for a store credit. They refused. They now only give store credits with a receipt. So I guess i'll have to do all my home repair projects from Home Depot. Lowes, any of them - not recommended. read more

This has always been our favorite Lowe's store, and today they cemented our loyalty. Husband was here earlier, using one of 2 gift cards. He used the one that had a balance - not the $50 unused card. When he got home, no $50 card. We went back, and the employees looked EVERYWHERE for a gift card. Nothing. But their efforts were admirable - above and beyond what we expected. While there, we got some fungicide for my plumerias, which have a fungus. The employee who helped us find what we needed was friendly and helpful. At the cash register, Dawn rang us up and insisted on looking again for the missing gift card. She also circled the survey on the receipt, which could win us $500. She wished us luck, letting us know we deserved the prize. We love this store! read more

This store is extremely disappointing to say the least. during the last hurricane Milton we evacuated to North Carolina. we heard trees came down on our property so we bought a chainsaw at Lowe's in Charlotte . when we returned a few days later it was evident that we needed a tree service and decided to return the chainsaw in Tarpon Springs. they had two of the exact chainsaws in stock and the picture of their return policy said 30 days. we were told by a manager that they would not let us return the chainsaw because Oct 5, 2024 they instituted a new policy and the return had to be done within 48 hours. today my husband went back and pointed out the 30 day policy sign and they said it shouldn't be there and took it down, we have a picture. so during a national disaster a National company behaves this way. we will no longer shop there and hope you don't either. we did go to the corporate office explained our situation and they said they could not overturn the store mangers decision. why have a corporate office? disgraceful read more

I ordered windows through Lowes and everything after ordering has been an absolute nightmare. Here I am, after buying the windows almost two years ago, 9 months after the install and I still do not have a passed inspection or a screen for my biggest window. It's not the installers fault. It's the lack of communication Lowes has. They have over 20 people working on all of their accounts and no one knows who has done what. If you want to babysit the whole process get your windows from Lowes. If not, DO NOT DO WHAT I DID. Go to a professional window company. read more

Bought Whirpool washer in May 2024. It was installed by Lowe. Few months later started getting problems. The washer is shaking and cannot complete the cycle even with 1 towel. Few months later, it started to leak from the drain hose. Got whirpool tech, still under 1 year warranty. The technician said the washer was not installed correctly, Lowes needs to fix it. Not whirpool problem. Called Lowes few times local stores and headquarters and still cannot get them to redo installation. Lowes said 48 hours window to redo installation after it is installed. But the product broke few months later beacuse of their wrong installation. I used to be a loyal Lowes customer, never again will use them again. I stuck with expensive washer which does not work and damages my floor. read more

I had to stand in a Self Checkout line and the Lowe's Drill Sergeant barked, "Next up here!" The open Checkout was next to where she stood so I told her that I'd not yet received the appropriate training. She grabbed the two items from me and said, "Three year olds do this everyday." I told her that was the problem - I'm not three. Lowe's and Home Depot can keep their Self Checkouts. I will happily go to Ace Hardware and receive some semblance of Customer Service. read more

I needed a chain saw to tame my back yard, it's truly become a jungle and only a chainsaw is going to tame the trees as they've begun to close in on the house. I hate shopping in big box hardware store because I always feel so lost. But I like shopping at Lowe's, because it makes my errand almost enjoyable. This store has just opened for 2 weeks, so everything is sparkling new. Staff is friendly and the aisles are clearly labeled. I purchased a washer and dryer a few weeks ago. Monday, 12/2/24 was delivery between 11 & 3. At 3 I received a text they were on their way. I had already removed the old washer and dryer out of the shed & into the carport. The delivery guys put the washer in 1st, plugged it in & connected the hot & cold hoses & proceeded to turn it on and took a few pictures of the drum filling up. Then came the dryer, they plugged it in, turned it on and took a few pictures of the dryer turning. Handed me a paper to sign, then they left. They didn't hook up the dryer vent hose & they didn't check to see if the washer was balanced. So, here I am 69 y.o. laying on a cement floor trying to attach the vent hose for 1/2 hr before going to lowes to complain. The soonest they can come out id 12/10 to finish the installation. Does anybody know how much a washer and dryers cost at a laundromat? !.75 for a regular washer & the same for a dryer for an hour. I just spent almost $1600. on new ones and can't use them for another 8 days.!!! This is B.S.!!!!!! LOWE'S you have a problem with your install guys that needs to be fixed!!! Now to post this I have to set up an email & password, for what? All info is in your computer system for purchase to delivery. read more

They had exactly what I needed and were very helpful in helping me find it and talking with me on what's best for my project. Third Lowe's I have called and asked if the glass cutter was functional. All three I have arrived at within the hour and they were out of service. That is the Clearwater the Gulf to Bay and now the Tarpon. I spoke with Lisa who apparently is the manager. She was a gruff woman, rude, unwilling to listen to my VALID complaint. Great way to treat an active duty service member who just drove 45minutes with an infant in tow. We will never do business with Lowe's again. read more

I recently purchased a full kitchen appliance set from Lowe's in Tarpon Springs fl. all stainless steel Frigidaire appliances. Évery deliver was damaged and I returned every appliance except the microwave. The fridge four times the stove once the dishwasher once. I bought new appliances not scratch and dent appliances. Lowe's management got real snippy because I refused to accept beat up appliances. I didn't buy second hand appliances. I'll never buy appliances from Lowe's again? read more

I bounce between HD and Lowe's. It depends on the item and sale prices.Recently, I came here for an assortment of items from washing machine cleaner to light bulbs. I found them all. I have no problem with calling for assistance when I need it! Several different staff members helped me in the right direction and gave me advice of the benefits and what was the best for the job. I also look for recommendations and get them as well. I also looked into installation services as I'm NOT the best took in the bag when it comes to DIY! I bought a new dishwasher from Lowe's. A complete mistake, I was told they don't uninstall the dishwasher to be taken away. So, I had to hire someone to do that, when Lowe's delivered the new dishwasher the next day, the delivery guys put it in my kitchen, but would not even unbox it never mind install it. I was NEVER told that the dishwasher would NOT be unbox or installed. I have bought many appliances in the past and the appliance was always unboxed and installed. DO NOT USE LOWE'S FOR APPLIANCES unless you have somebody handy around the house that can do this type of work. read more

If I could give zero stars I would!!! Lets start off by saying the employees are clueless and rude. Can't find anyone that actually knows what's going on in the store and that can actually help. So when I went to place an order online originally it said my order was for pick up the same day later on which would've been March 25. After place the order only half of my order was for pick up same day the rest wasn't going to be available for pick up April 2. On April 2 when I looked on my online account it shows that it was on a delay after five days of waiting I called the store and ask if we can have an ETA on the fence that I was waiting for. The guy was very rude short answer he goes like there's still no date with an attitude so I said OK I can cancel my order and just re-order it at another store he says "you can do whatever you want but you're still going to have the same problem" "you have to wait for the shipment". So then I waited a little bit longer and now we are on April 11 and I still don't have a delivery date. I call corporate and ask them what was going on why don't I have a delivery date on merchandise that I was supposed to pick up on April 2 she calls the distributor and they said we delivered it to the store on April 1 so she calls the store and the people in the store apparently signed offer up but can't find my 10 panels- 6x8 fence.. so now she's arguing with the store the store is giving her attitude that they don't have it even though they signed off on it. long story short I've waited almost 3 weeks and still had to cancel my order and re-order it to get it delivered to my home and pay an extra $78 to make sure that it arrives when I need it. I should've never had to pay the $78 due to the inconvenience of having to wait 3 weeks because a Lowe's does not know how to keep track of their inventory coming in and out this is ridiculous by far the worst experience I have ever had has come from the lowes. read more

This is the worst Lowe's ever my wife paid for a vanity yesterday and when she went to pick it up today they told her that the vanity had forklift damage and because I'm deploy my wife paid some people to pick it up so in the end they told us that even it was their fault for breaking it they couldn't help us with the problem so after loosing $50 dollars for using movers, they didn't have the dignity to even offer to deliver the vanity I'm just really happy that Lowe's is always willing to help military family. read more

The parking lot is just dumb. Once inside it gets better. Clean store. Pretty much the same floor layout as others. I do like how the app tells you what they do and do not have available. Helps in deciding which one you want or need to go to. Staff have always been nice. They can be sparse form time to time. Always tons of stray carts in the lot. They need a better cart person or people need to use the very available cart returns. read more

The only reason why this store even gets one star is because it is a SUPER clean and organized store. But upon multiple visits the customer service is ALWAYS poor. But tonight was the icing on the cake and I will not bring my business here ever again. The guy in the hardware department acted as if I was inconveniencing him. Then when I asked him about a simple oscillating sander head he told me to just go buy one on amazon... so I drove up to the road to Home Depot where the young lady there sold me exactly what I needed. My daughter and I went to Lowes in Holiday, Florida for a tool combo set we found online for $199.00 on 2/17/23 around 2pm. After speaking to Ken a floor associate who was working the power tool section, he mentioned we could only purchase the item we wanted online. He did however show us another combo set with additional items for the same price. Ken helped us put the items in our basket and we went to the nearest cashier. The price rang up as $299.00, I questioned the price and the cashier said she would need to verify with her manager on that price. I walked back to where the item was, took a picture and then went back to the cashier. The cashier said her manager was looking in to it even though the sku number was the same one as the picture. The only difference was the price on the sticker and what it rang up as in their system. Meanwhile, the "head cashier", Denise went back to where I showed her the price and angrily RIPPED it from the display and said she would not honor it herself and needed approval from her manager. Thinking the manager would help provide some semblance of customer service, the pair in fact made it worse and continued their accusatory demeanor in tandem; as If I had anything to do with their blunder. In the end they honored the price; but quite reluctantly. They wouldn't even make eye contact with me, as if I was subhuman. They made me feel like I made a mistake for coming to this store. This was an extremely embarrassing thing my daughter had to witness me go through. I don't like to think this way, but I wonder how this would've gone if I looked different. Surely if they treated everyone this way, they wouldn't have any customers. I have been a long time patron of Lowes; due to this experience, I won't be any longer. read more

I don't understand how a manufacturer can cancel an order I place through the Lowes website. Never any call or email that was canceled. Do not use Lowe's vendor Eastern Windows for replacement Windows. They are the worst company to deal with and their window products are inferior. I have been dealing with them for defective windows for 6 months. They installed hurricane windows and sliding patio doors which are so apparently defective and they passed QA form their glass vendors and then put them in their frames and then installed them. $10,5000 later and I am still waiting for the replacements. Customer service person Vicky, window/sales rep from Lowe's, is also not someone you want to deal with. Once she gets you to sign she becomes totally off the grid. She never responds to any additional questions. I would never recommend using Lowe's or Eastern windows to anyone. 1 star is only because you can't post without a star. This is my new home for purchasing stuff for work or the home, being brand new & it smells great! Everything is clean, not many workers there but really not needed for me. I can always hunt someone down if I needed too. I like the self-check out lane & there is always someone to help if it gets confusing. There was once when I needed help & 3 people walked around me but I never asked for any plus they can not read my mind so I don't hold that against them. They also have battery/bulbs return up front, not that I'm a big person on recycling but I do take dead batteries & bulbs here just for the hell of it. read more

I called and talked to customer service today on 8-17-2021, at 2 pm. After confirming my special order was in, I told the customer service employee, I was leaving my house now, and would be there in about 45 minutes. At approximately 2:45, I went up to the customer service counter, and said I was here to pick up my order. A employee picked up the phone, and told someone to bring my order up, and informed me, it would be awhile. I said I called a hour ago, it should of been up here, the employee said, no you didn't, I was the one that took the call. Her name tag said Kathy. Because of her incompetence, and lack of experience. I was waiting 20 minutes, before my special order came up. While I was waiting, I was getting very frustrated, that this employee was inconsiderate, and did not call for my order to get to the front desk when I called. She made me wait 20 minutes, when a normal employee, would of called right away, when I said I was on my way. Because of this employee, she wasted my time, and got me very agitated waiting, because of her inconsiderate experience. I would rate her a 0 in customer service. read more
