My washer stopped working, Arnies showed up fast and fixed the code that the washer was giving them. Well that wasn't the problem and the code was wrong. Once they figured out the real problem and it ended up just being a door latch switch, they removed the $300 control board that they installed and gave me my check back! That is the most honest repair you could ask for. The tech was absolutely great and even came back on his day off. They followed up a few times I will never use another company for my appliances. Great! My 20 year old oven wouldn't heat up. On first visit serviceman determined that problem was in the control board and that the board was no longer available but he offered to get new components and solder them onto the board. He returned and (with a lot of skill) fixed it properly. Overall experience was wonderful - both visits were on time, and rather than suggesting disposal of an old appliance, he was able to bring it back to life. We've had issues (ice and water dispenser probs) with our GE Profile fridge for several months, and had resorted to just buying bottled water instead of getting it fixed. I'd looked online and saw that others reported it's prob either an electrical harness issue, or the control board is bad. After asking friends on FB for repair companies they trust, one told us about Arnie's and how they used them for years. So we called. Jim came out to look at our fridge, and he checked the harness, but also pointed out our digital displays inside the fridge casing were acting up as the dispenser buttons were pushed. After doing some more, he determined that it was indeed the control board. He had the pet on the truck and was able to replace the part in about 15 minutes. We'd also been driven crazy by a relentless squeak as the door opened, and Jim took care of that, too! We are VERY happy to have ice and water back, and now don't have to deal with the squeak either! Next time we have trouble, we'll call Arnie's again! read more

Nice guy, but I couldn't believe it was over $200 for a 30 minute job, basically defrosting the back of the freezer, plus he never said why the freezer froze up, thankfully we were able to fix it ourselves after that, good thing, freezer new was less than $400 ‍ read more

Our refrigerator filtered water and ice maker were not functioning properly (leaks, noisy, and low flow). Matt from A Arnies was right on time for his diagnostic appointment, and identified the problems. Given our approval, with written estimate, he ordered our needed parts, and returned as scheduled, fully effecting repairs in 90 minutes, explaining what he was doing and fully answering any questions I had. The technician "Kevin" called when he was in route to my home and arrived shortly thereafter. After diagnosis he told me he had to order a part and return in 3-4 business days. My refrigerator stopped working and I phoned Arnies. They advised me it would be later that afternoon before they could send someone. a few minutes later I got a call indicating that someone was on their way. (A pleasant surprise.) I have now used A Arnie's 2X. Once I had lighting hit my house and it hit my fridge. My insurance paid for someone to come out and the first time they did great and didn't care about repair costs as it was fully insured. This time they came out and checked my fridge as it has been making random sounds. Turns out it was the Evaporator Fan. BEWARE of their pricing. They told me $150 to fix and then with tax $171.13...I looked up the part and could get it at Home Depot or Lowes for $30...so where is the other $120 without taxes? It took the repair guy less than 20 minutes. They are great with responding and the repair guys are always nice but they love to OVERPRICE! I even asked the guy and he was like well yeah...you're right the part i showed him was the part I needed from Lowes but he said this is what his company charges. read more
