I submitted a request to Yelp months ago that all Lowe's stores in Ontario are renamed Rona, but I'm still waiting! We bought all our appliances from this location on several occasions, and referred my relatives when their washer and dryer needed replacing. The models we bought last year were already discontinued, but they were able to find similar ones. The service advisor (I think his name was Phil) was knowledgeable and helpful, and the delivery went well. read more

We wanted to start another renovation project, and visited Lowe's to get an idea of everything we needed. We were very fortunate that Wilbut Mak (sales specialist) was on duty. He was very knowledgeable, patient, and walked us through all the steps required. We could tell he is an extremely hard-working and dedicated employee, something we find rare, even outside of COVID 19. Came here on a sunday afternoon to pick up orders which I have placed online. The staff here didn't seem like they were in their working mode, there was only one lady at the customer service desk. We had to wait 10 mins until she had the time to come serve us even though we were the only ones in line. She had to walk over to returns to help that department out because there was AGAIN ONE employee working and a long line up of customers for returns. As I gave her our order number, she had to call multiple times because no one in the back warehouse was picking up the phone so they can retrieve my order. Once she got hold of someone in the back, which was 15 mins later, she told us an employee will come out with our order shortly. Waited 5 mins and 5 mins and waited some more. It took them another 15mins until an employee pushed out my order. The shape that the product was in looked like it was thrown around and tossed multiple of times!! The box was ripped, teared, dented and seemed like it's going to fall apart, I just cannot imagine what was done to it previously!! I asked them if I could get one in a better shape, he told me they're all the same, if you have a problem with broken parts, just call the manufacturer, they can replace it for you. He didn't EVEN CARE one bit!! He just wanted to give us the product then leave! They have VERY SLOW customer service and VERY POOR attitude towards customers! Went there yesterday because Home Depot was out of stock. It was better than my previous visit but not much. The three female customer service staff in the front was useless as always. (tip to the manager- don't schedule friends to work at the same time at the same area) I had to wait for them to stop chatting between themselves before they acknowledged me, took a minute between the three to give me information but gave the wrong aisle BUT the guys working gave me tips that saved me hours because Youtube is not always correct. read more

I love coming to this location for appliances due to the proximity to where I live and their can't beat pricing. After today, this will be our second over $1000.00 appliance acquired here. Great customer service at this store!! There are definitely some areas Lowe's can work on in general. But I wouldn't want to see this store close. Having Lowe's here gives Home Depot competition, therefore keeps prices down. Lowe's has a variety of products, so we get choice and not so we're not limited to product range of only one store. Wow, I'm shocked how poor the service is at this Lowes. The store was absolutely dead, barely any customers, and now I know why. I spent over an hour in the store, in flooring, kitchen cabinets, appliances and the storage departments, yet not a single employee offered to help. All of the staff was just standing around or sitting. I wasn't even acknowledged, not a 'hi', 'hello', 'do you need some help', nothing! I walked by at least 5 employees who were doing absolutely nothing. I'm in Lowe's right now. They are under staffed and there is a line of people waiting to ask questions for help in the microwave and fridge department. I asked the Male staff member for help on details of the microwave and he told me it is all online. If I wanted to know that I would've stayed home and shopped online. But I guess he doesn't understand the concept of customer service. You know the industry he is in. I therefore went online and guess what the mirocwave information was not online. So as I wait here, I realize there are people who want jobs who are willing to work well and he is here in his comfortable job being lazy. I expected better of Lowe's and the reason why I came in is to speak to someone about questions I cannot find online. For example, the oven we are looking to match the microwave the inside is Blue. It doesn't tell you that online. Poor overall experience. I edited my review and gave them an extra star because the flooring and tile employees are amazing. They are efficient and knowledgable. Justin is a young man who helped me and he was quick to give me the information and even wrote down the details on a card and gave me. This department is extremely helpful. Ordered online to pick up at Lowes Markham. I made an appointment for 11 am. I didn't feel I needed curbside service so I went in to line up at customer service. Only one person ahead of me, and an employee bent over a computer. After waiting 3 or 4 minutes, and several employees had entered and left the area, I asked the other person if she had been attended to. No, she said. I decided to call the store! After another couple minutes, the person in front of me gave up. I listened to all the COVID announcement, then the touch pad choices, finally made a selection - and to my surprise someone actually answered my call. She seemed surprised that there was no service, and said she'd come right out. After that, my pickup proceeded smoothly. Why did it take 10 minutes just to be attended to? Worst customer service I have ever experienced. We went to Lowe's to replace some kitchen cabinet doors. The person at the store wrote down incorrect measurements despite the fact that we had taken taken the doors in to be measured directly so that they would be exact. The associate helping us didn't seem to know what he was doing and were taking a very long time just to enter the information into the computer. These are supposed to be people who are experts or at least have some knowledge in it his department. If they did not know what they were doing, they could have told us to wait until someone who could help us was working. So after telling the associate several times what the correct measurements were, we finished up and the order was placed. We went to pick up the order when it was ready. We waited 30 mins at customer service just to have someone go into a back room to get . Not even telling us that there would be any kind of wait. Okay. No problem. Even though 30 minutes is excessive. We go to open up the doors once we get home and of course, the measurements are wrong. The doors are unusable. Now if we had given the measurements to them ourselves and got them wrong, this would be our fault and there is nothing we can do about it. But the fact that the associate entered the information into the computer incorrectly should mean that it is not our fault and Lowe's should be willing to correct their mistake. We called this Lowe's store and they forwarded the information to the correct department and were told they would call us back. They called back within a few hours with a very arrogant and rude tone of voice. Shouting over the phone at us like we were the ones who made a mistake and this was such an inconvenient thing for them to do. This matter still has not resolved so I will not be updating this review any further until it has. I will never be purchasing anything from this store or any Lowe's in the future. *update: my review remains unchanged as Lowe's has said they won't be doing anything about this matter. I bought the gas BBQ Char-Broil at the end of July, they assembly it for me, in 2 months when we was using it notes the fire under the BBQ due to leaking gas. When I went to the store they told me they will not take it back, because we use it, even it was mark on receipt 90 days return. They suggested to call guarantee, that I did. I was tolded that I have disassemble the part with problem, clean it and they will do nothing. I have to call private gas company to repair it. read more

I did a full kitchen gut and reno, and could not be happier with the experience or the result. In the kitchen department, Jacklyn did an incredible design in a few stages until it was perfect, and she helped me choose all the appliances and the range hood. She took a lot of time to discuss colors, textures, consistency of lines, when to not go "boring" -- she is a true artist with a practical side. I was assigned a Project Manager-type, Mehandra, and also Jasmin, and they kept track of every step of the project. The demolition and installation crew were amazing; they were career contractors who took great pride in their work, and were very tidy, friendly, punctual, and took the effort to make sure every detail was perfect. The crew leader I had was Milan, and Vesso. Mehandra also came to my home twice to check on the quality of the work, and phoned frequently to check on the speed and progress. I think Lowe's is a great way to go, because they are not going to disappear with your deposit, or do shoddy work. It is all guaranteed by a huge, established company. This project went flawlessly, from the young delivery guys, to cashing out at the front desk. I could not have asked for a better experience, and I would use Lowe's again, and the theory that a big company will charge extra, all balances out in the end. A designer is included, a very active Project Manger, and a full guarantee of quality work in a timely fashion. And everyone is so friendly! I've probably came to this Lowes 10 times this past 3 weeks because I'm doing some renovations in my house. Each time I'm here, the sales people are always very helpful and knowledgeable. At Lowe's you expect to find tools and hardware for your home. Recently I went there to get shingles for a section of my roof. They had shingles but not the colour I needed. At they desk I noticed they could order the colour I wanted. After he checked with the company to see if they had it in stock (I only needed 3 bundles), he suggested I go directly to the company and pay their price since it would cost me more if Lowe's orders it and then sells it to me. Very happy with his honesty and the company was only 10 minutes away. I did get my other material needed for my roofing project at Lowe's. With customer service like this, I will return. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because some items were harder to find read more

this is the worst location of all of the Lowe's all of the staff are incompetent. every time I come to get wood cut I have to wait 25 minutes because there's only one guy in the entire store that can cut wood. I went straight to Home Depot and I was happy to do so where people actually provide you with service and they actually have staff walking around instead of three people in the entire store like Lowe's. never coming back to lowes!! read more
