I hate the thought of complaint with an online review nut there's a first time for everything and this one's worth it since no one else has the full authority to help. bought a brand new washer earlier this month with 5 year warranty. Sales person informed us that the delivery driver would call with an hour notice before delivery and install and that unit was in stock and ready to go and would be delivered within 3 days. Two days later we get a phone call, washer won't be available until almost a week later. Delayed wry day comes, I'm up town and third party delivery calls my wife and says, " I'll be there in 10". He comes and drops it off, tells my wife that there's an installation charge for him to hook it up which we never heard anything about, plus it's a simple hook up. He starts a wash on the unit, gives my wife the instructions to let that finish and drain and then we're good to go. The washer wouldn't drain. We tried a couple loads to make sure, and the washer wouldn't drain unless you switched to a different cycle after the first cycle is finished, and then it didn't spin well, clothes were still soaked. I called Lowe's and after a couple hours of being sent back and forth my call was redirected to square one. So I hung up and came back later to try again, then someone had updated my account to where my order number was past exchange date, so then I couldn't even get anyone on the phone. So we drive up to Lowe's Valdosta, Ga location and speak to help desk and management, they alone were very kind and helpful to the extent they could be. They finally directed me to call the manufacturer GE appliances because we were past our 48 hour return that we were never made aware of. So I called GE, long story short, they wouldn't replace the brand new washer we'd just paid for and bought a warranty for but they'd repair it, which I voiced my dissatisfaction with being that Lowe's was quick to sell us a warranty and take the money out of my account for this brand new washer. The process with the manufacturer took about 3 hours in total. It's been 3 weeks no washer and family of four. Another third party service tech came today on behalf of GE, says the board is messed up so their process is that they have to order that part then come and repair. All this being said, Ive never had such a run around before after purchasing a brand new product from someone, and honestly any respectful owner, upper management, customer relations should be ashamed of this system. Everyone blames everyone blames everyone. No one owes you anything and redirects you to the next. I'm sure if i get any feedback on this review, it'll state something about how their policy works and what they've been told from their upper management from there upper management and so on. I'd write this for GE, but I purchased the unit from Lowes, Valdosta, so it should be their problem not mine. read more

Lowes should back the products they sell to their loyal customers. They use out sourced repair people who don't know what they're doing. They use U.S.Appliance for their warranty. I have been with a "Fridgidaire" refrigerator that's not working properly for over 2 months. I waited for repair and got ghosted twice. When they showed, I had to wait 2 more weeks to order part that still doesn't work. I've decided We won't be buying appliances from Lowes. 2 1/2 months with no freezer. I was needing some vinyl siding that was not on the shelf. I found an assistant who said he would get some down off the top shelf once he was finished putting lumber on a shelf. After 30 minutes of waiting and watching him put lumber on the shelf one piece at a time, I asked him if someone else could help me. He sai, I'm coming In a few more minutes. Management needs to have a talk with the associates that the customer comes first and stock shelves can wait. It's now been 45 minutes and still no siding. **update left been over hour, had to stay bc they were only place that had the PCs we needed! read more

I ordered 16 bags of Play Sand online from this store. It was the only store in an approximate 70 mile radius that had the bags of in stock. The online checkout stated that I could have the sand delivered at no charge and it would be delivered in two days. I selected the delivery deal. I was then sent a tracking number from Lowe's for FedEx deliverer. I received a call from Lowe's stating that the sand bags were being loaded on the truck for delivery. The delivery did not arrive the next day, so I contacted The Lowe's number that I had gotten the call from the day before. The tracking number used by FedEx does not work and it tells you nothing. I was then given a new tracking number and I was told the first one was not correct. The second one did nothing too. After searching for a FedEx contact number and not finding one that worked. I called Lowe's back and I was told the delivery would arrive at the end of the day on a Friday, four days after I had placed the order. I was called by the area dispatcher and They were sending the order to the billing address and not the shipping address. After trying to get the addresses corrected, I finally told them to just make the delivery and I would load the bags of sand in my truck and take it to the correct address. It was in the too hard to do box for them. I was told that the delivery was coming out of some place outside of Orlando, Fl and not Valdosta GA where I had made the purchase online. The truck arrived at approximately 7:48 PM on Friday, 4 days later. The FedEx driver told me that he had left Orlando and went to Valdosta and then Tallahassee and the another location approximately 138 miles from my address. I order was his last delivery of the day. I will never ever make an online order or select delivery from Lowe's again read more

I am very disappointed in the customer or lack there of, with the staff at Lowe's. I had a pretty good expierence when in1st purchased a dryer today. With that being said, I paid for it and I would be back soon to pick it up. No problem was the response. Customer service rep didn't even want to acknowledge me when I walked in the door and one lady just walked away! I had already paid 500 plus dollars for an item and Not only did it take close to 45 minutes for them to finally get it out, they could have cared less. The only way I got a resonce was asking to speak to someone who could actually get something done. What's more, is my sick toddler and hisband were waiting in the truck. My experience at Lowe's was horrible, all I wanted was carpet to do a room in my new home in Hahira, Georgia. So I went to the Lowes of Valdosta, GA I was there a few weeks ago, but the flooring section was a little busy. I needed an estimate on how much it would cost for a 14x21 room. I was quoted over $500 without padding for carpet that's $1.08 sqft. I thought that was really pricy, but I had to go because I had to get back on the road to North Carolina. Once I got to North Carolina I called back to the store in Valdosta, GA to get someone in flooring, but no one answered the phone I kept getting the customer service representative. I called everyday but it just seems that either no one is there or they're on a lunch break, at least that's what the customer service lady kept telling me. So I got fed up and called my buddy who works at Lowe's here in North Carolina. He got me in contact with the flooring department in New Bern, I was impressed by his knowledge and professional attitude. He even called the Lowes in Valdosta for me to help. Needlesstosay he recommended me to use another store because to him they sounded incompetent to run that section. Now I'm forced to go somewhere to get carpet. I'm upset and disappointed because I love Lowes, I mean I really, really love Lowes, I've opened a credit card account, and PROS account. I have always been a loyal customer to Lowe's until I move to VALDOSTA Georgia. Now the service is even worse than it was over a year ago. Every time I go into the store, there are no cashiers and I am told I have to check myself out. I said where are the cashiers? I get told things like, we don't have enough cashiers. They all called in sick. She's on her lunch break. I don't know where the cashier is. I think that is absolutely horrible service. I don't have another store close by And I absolutely hate Home Depot but I might have to resend that dislike because of the lousy service being provided at the Lowe's in Valdosta Georgia. Someone needs to look into it. There is no reason that I should have to pay the price I pay for the disrespect that receive. We were buying big stuff, and we asked for help from one of the guy workers there and he said," If Jesus could carry his own cross, you can do it too." because we were trying to ask help to carry the mailbox. Also when we were trying to get his attention to help with an item he pretended to hide from us. His behavior was very inappropriate, and should never treat his customers like this. Another thing is their debt cards weren't working to pay, so we asked if they could hold our stuff for us while we go get cash, he said," We will make sure it won't go anywhere." This used to be a decent store with plenty of help and a wide selection of products. Now, I find what I need at the Lowes in Live Oak, Florida, about 45 minutes south of Valdosta. When I do go to the local store, there is never anyone around to assist. Those little buttons in the departments that you can press to get help are completely useless. I am okay when I know exactly what I want and where it is located. Otherwise, I prefer to go elsewhere. I suspect a management problem. There is always knowledgeable staff around to help you find hardware, paints, or lawncare. I done a curb side pick up for some lumber, and when I arrived they told me they did not have it at the lumber part of the store and that I would have to go get it at customer service. I drove to the curbside pickup and called just like the sign said and a very nice young lady answered the phone and told me I needed to go to the lumber pickup to get it. I told her what they told me about not having it and she said she knew it was there and she would meet me down there to get it. After going back to the lumber side for pickup she met me there and made sure I got my order. After signing the papers she went back to work. (She was very nice) A few men came out to help load it and when I asked if I could do anything to help this man made a awful face and some kind of rude comment. Another man said he could not load all the wood on my truck because it would crush my tail gate. He then tried to open my tailgate by jerking it so hard the plastic piece around it came lose then it smack it back on really hard with his fist and proceeds to say "I don't want to ruin your tail gate, ruining costumers tailgates is not good." (Finding out when I got home he had knocked the inside of my lever lose in my tailgate and that's why I would not open) He was very rude and treated me as if I had no idea what I was doing. I never do reviews but this was the worst experience I have ever had shopping anywhere! I live 40 minutes from the store and had to make two trips because he had no idea how to properly load lumber or open a tailgate!! Luckily when I went back they had a shift change and I was able to load the rest of the lumber the way he said would not work and made it all the way home with no problem! read more

However, I have always said and will continue to say (due to experience) if you know what you are looking for and don't need to ask any questions of find someone to help you do anything, go to Lowes. On July 6 2019 I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator, It was delivered on July 25th. On July 27th the right door started to make a pop sound when opened and skree sound when closed. On July 29th it started to pop on the left door when opened and closed. I went to the store 5 times to complain ( I assistant manager, 2 appliance person, 3 service desk person, 4 person from other department because there was no one available in appliances and 5 person in charge of warehouse. Each time I was told that another would be delivered and this would be exchanged. It is now August 15 and I have given up on Lowes service, I will call Frigidaire tomorrow. I paid for an extended warranty which I doubt will be honored either. I do not recommend buying an appliance from them. I did buy a stove last year and had no problem except for the small dent and scratch on the side. Don't want to get started about the telephone tag about the chain link fence I had installed. It was a minor problem but never got fixed. I did spend approximately six thousand at Lowes this last 12 months because they give veterans a discount all year round and Home Depot only gives veterans a discount 2 or 3 days a year. read more

What's there to say about a home improvement store? It's a Lowe's, I come here just like anyone else to buy tools, wood, nails, lawn equipment, flowers, mulch etc. you get the picture. Anyways, I like Lowe's, I love going to the garden center and looking at the different flowers that I can use for my garden. Some of the workers are slow, and some of the workers are very.... how can I put this kindly? They're a little ghetto-ish.....? because some of the black workers tend to wear long nails and I don't think that's very professional, I really think they should band Long nails when handling items, even if the items are solid and cannot be damaged by them, I would really like to see my workers inside of Lowe's with short to medium length nails, neatly combed hair, a better attitude and better work experience. If it's worsens my rating is dropping to a two and that's being generous. I would like to see changes, but as of now my review and rating remains the same A-OK. There's a girl named Rosanna that works here in the customer service area, she is not friendly, she has poor workmanship, she seems lazy and when I asked for her help she acted snobby--I really would like to report her because of her attitude, no one wants the help from a snobby little teenager. She looked young, so I take it she was only in her 20s, until she is fired and unemployed from Lowe's I will drop my rating to a one-star because of her!
