I spent almost $400 during a quick trip.. The way I was treated by customer service was completely unacceptable. After loading my car and making it home, I realized I had left an item in a shopping cart outside the store. I immediately called the store to prevent it from being taken. Someone answered, "Customer Service, Hold!", and never picked back up--for the entire 20-minute drive back to the store. When I arrived, I found my item still outside. Inside, I saw three customer service associates standing around chatting, not helping customers. When I explained my call had been on hold the whole time, the woman at the desk flat-out denied it was possible. I showed her my phone displaying the store's number and the 20+ minute hold time. She shrugged, accused me of calling the wrong store ( despite using the phone number on the receipt), and dismissed me. See my call log and receipt attached below I left the store, sat in my car, and someone finally picked up the call--only to hang up immediately. I called back, someone answered, and when I said "I was just checking to see if anyone would pick up" they hung up on me again.... Which clearly proved my point. This was not a staffing issue. This was employees choosing to ignore customers, lie, and hang up on them. It's unprofessional, disrespectful, and reflects extremely poorly on the company. And if the three employees are reading this, maybe go work at the garbage site where you belong

I like to shop Lowe's whenever I can. I like their corporate stance and their support of many causes I believe in. I was in this area of Warwick recently and I decided to look at their paint supplies. I thought Valspar was Lowe's private label brand (like Behr is Home Depot's) but when I did some research I realized that Valspar was a separate brand by itself. Valspar is based in Minneapolis. With over 11,000 employees in 26 countries and a company history that spans two centuries, it was the sixth largest paint and coating corporation in the world. Valspar was founded in 1806 as a paint dealership in Boston, Massachusetts. The Valspar name emerged in 1903 as the name of a clear varnish and became the company name in 1932. Sherwin-Williams acquired Valspar in 2017. Anyway, their prices were competitive to Home Depot or Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams. Lots of choices and price points.

Having been away from our house for a couple of years, it needed a lot of little things when we moved back. Ugh. All the projects. We have had doors and storm doors ordered and installed by these guys. The store staff were helpful, and the installer was very good. He did some needed repair work before he did the installation which we didn't know about, but he showed us what was up, and yup, it really did need to be done before installation. So yea. Light fixtures, light switch covers, new plugs and covers, magnetic cabinet door closures, paints, stains, brushes, rollers, garden shears and plants, kitchen appliances, water heater. You name it, we probably have shopped for it here. We do look around at other places and somehow we end up back here for one thing or another. Sometimes there are plenty of people on the floor to help. Other times not so much but I suppose that depends on how busy the store is right. Most of the time the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. (OK, there was that one time, where the guy was a bit of a chauvinist know-it-all, but that was only once, so the number of averages are on their side.) We also get a military discount here. If you have served, go to customer service and register. Let the cashier know when making a purchase and save 10%. Every cent counts.

What is the sense of having and/or buying a warranty if it's going to get denied. My warranty is up this September. I'm so done with this. This is the first time I had to put in a claim. This is ridiculous. People don't waste your money on the warranty/goof proof because it seems anyway they can get out of fixing they will!!!

It is not just scratch and dent stuff like some may expect. Items I purchase here are usually cabinets, bathroom vanities, basement windows (though they sell all kinds), exterior and interior doors, etc. There are some other items I only go here for but I'm not giving away all of my renovation secrets. ;-) They have a great selection of laminate floors as well as tile and tile backsplashes. Since the store has gotten busier over the years, they have added some additional employees which definitely helps the customer. New this year is their kitchen design center which assists home owners and contractors on designing or remodeling your kitchen. Cabinets sold here are usually not put together so be prepared for this or you can opt to have the store put them together for you at an additional cost. Give this place a try instead of heading to the orange or blue renovation stores. You may be surprised with what you can find!

A sign in the store says "The store isn't pretty but the prices are beautiful". That about sums it up.

I drive by this business during my commute to and from work, and have wanted to write a review for…read moreseveral months now. But, an unusually cool spring has left this business appearing as quiet as the proverbial Maytag repair shop. Despite the uncooperative weather that squelched this year's spring fever, I saw the owner faithfully tending to his plants (I've seen him out there as early as 7:30 a.m.) over the past few months. Now that it's taken until the latter part of May and the beginning of June for spring to have finally taken root, this store is now in its full glory, and the time seemed ripe for a visit. This business is located on a busy commercial road, next to a small convenience store (both businesses share the same parking lot). Speaking of parking, there isn't much, but then again, I've never seen a lot of activity on weekdays, during working hours (I can't vouch for evenings or weekends). I'm not so sure that the Yelp category of nursery/garden center most accurately describes this business, since they don't appear to actually grow the plants on premises, at least from what I could observe. I wouldn't categorize them as a florist either. Instead, I would describe them as a plant retailer. I don't know how or where this business obtains the plants it sells, but I will say they appeared very vibrant and healthy - in better condition than the typical big box stores, and as good or even better than many large nurseries. They sell mostly flowers, but a few vegetable plants as well, such as tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers. Most of their flowers are in hanging pots, but some are in temporary containers, with the intention they will be replanted indoors or outdoors. For the small size of the store, they have a decent variety of flowers. Some stands displaying the plants are outdoors, and some stands are indoors. The man who I presume was the owner was friendly, without being pushy. Referring to several empty display stands indoors, he said he was very busy last weekend and sold many plants, but will be restocking soon. My wife is a bigger plant shopper than me, so I don't have as good a handle on prices, but the prices here seemed like good deals to me. Several potted plants could be bought for $4.99. Some were around $10. Others, like some cucumber plants around three feet tall, were $15. Many of the hanging plants were about $20, such as the particularly beautiful fuschia (which I saw selling for about $5 more at a nursery). The store is nothing fancy, mostly table after table of plants. The owner's 'office' at the front of the store consisted of a recliner and portable television about the size of an old-school transistor radio. I ended up buying a cherry tomato plant, about two feet tall, for a mere $2 - nowadays, $2 won't get you a decent cup of coffee! I definitely plan on returning, since the owner seems friendly, and the plants appear very healthy and reasonably priced.
