There isn't enough room on this site to explain the rudeness I've experienced the past couple of day's 11/28/15-12/01/15 with these so-called store associates. They couldn't even serve hamburgers or coffee any better with their negative attitudes. HD got my $ 100.00 sale tonight. I've spent thousands since Low's opened (My big mistake) But watch out for going on the off hours. At least HD they know how to greet customers when they enter the store to spend their hard earned cash. The worst time I've found problems is evenings and on Sundays. Probably only paying the so-called store associates half pay and they're upset and take it out on the customers. Think I'll drive the extra 5-10 miles for some courtesy and friendly attitudes from now on. read more

I placed an order online for curbside waited 20 minutes calling no answer I had to go in, there was a line so more wait time she's tells me that I can wait in my car and someone will bring it waited another 20 minutes no show I had to go in again and get it myself so what's the point for online curbside. Lowe's is one of my go to stores for home improvement. I tend to avoid this Lowe's because as others have said, they have horrible customer service. None of the workers want to do their job, they are all snobby and rude. Either that or they genuinely don't know what they are doing even though they've been there for years. I don't get angry or yell at them, they have no reason to get angry, they definitely just don't want to work and get paid, and that logic is a bit ridiculous to me. Once, I went here and I told the woman what I wanted and she went to go get it, but then I saw her walking around and purposely avoiding me. The store wasn't busy at all, other staff didn't want to help so I just left. Staff will roll their eyes and sigh, talking down to you like a two year old even though I know what I'm talking about. Lots of the items you need are never in stock, when other stores have hundreds of that item. Definitely would not recommend this store to anyone, and they definitely need to work on customer service, because they have a bad name for it. read more

the store manager is rude and has no idea what she is doing, the head cashier toni was very rude to me while i was trying to make a return at the desk. nobody knows what they are doing, it took 5 different people to answer one simple question about an air conditioner. i have never seen such bad management in my life. Bought a bathroom faucet, which the plumber installed. Turns out it won't stay open, but Lowe's wont do anything about it, since they didn't install it. Really??? So i'd have to pay the plumber again to remove it, and then install a new one! NOT happy!! Done with this store, after buying both a new dehumidifier and a disposal there within the last 6-8 months. read more

It is so disappointing that Lowe's on Quaker Lane has become a store in which one cannot have a positive experience. In the last few months, I thought we were the only people feeling this way until I saw other reviews. On a Saturday afternoon about 2PM, we decided to visit Lowe's to take a look and seek information about the water heaters and hot water tanks, not knowing the difference. First of all, there was no one in the area to ask. Second of all, after walking to the appliance department, one salesperson tried to help us but did not have enough background in that area, and when he tried to find someone else more knowledgeable, no one was available at all to assist us. Needless to say, we left, and obviously will not be spending our money there. How disappointing that what used to be such a great place to purchase home improvement items has now become a store with many items on display, but providing an unsatisfying customer experience in an attempt to make a purchase. Also, it should be noted that this would have only been one star, but there was one wonderful salesperson in the carpeting department who successfully answered all of my questions in my quest to learn about a future purchase of a carpet. He seems to be a rarity at Lowe's. read more

Terrible customer service! Incompetent employees. Ordered a picnic table yesterday and they said it would be delivered today. They called again (on home number even though I asked them repeatedly to use cell number) saying it wasn't assembled in time to make it onto the truck. Meanwhile, there's still a stack of fully assembled picnic tables at the entrance. When I called to ask why they didn't deliver one of those the woman I talked to was rude and told me I have no understanding of the system they use. She also said she has no way of changing my phone number in the system. ???? read more

John in plumbing is totally unprofessional. Avoid him at all costs. He has a very bad attitude and does not belong in customer service. Not to mention he doesn't know the first thing about plumbing. read more

About 2 months ago, my husband went in and purchased a new door for our garage - the people in the door department sent him to the service desk to pay for it - the lady (and I use the term "lady" lightly) started arguing and yelling (very loudly) that she did not know why the department sent him there - my poor husband did not know either - he was just doing as he was directed - oddly enough he had somehow tried to contact me for some info during the encounter with the service desk lady and I did not answer but the whole conversation was captured on his phone. Today, I ran into a similar situation - a consultant was supposed to come out and take measurements on a door we were purchasing but the consultant never showed up. I called the store and was transferred to the Home Decor department - the "lady" that answered the phone asked why I was calling and after I explained, she literally yelled at me "AND THEY TRANSFERRED YOU HERE - WHY WOULD THEY DO THAT!!! I was taken aback and all I could say was "I don't know". I could then hear her ringing up another phone/department and after 2 or 3 tries, she just hung up on me. I did call back and was not happy with the outcome of my situation. I just want to say that I have been doing busy with Lowes for many years and have always been happy with their products and services - they installed a brand new kitchen for me and I could not have been happier with the price or finished product. Something has drastically changed at this location. I won't continue to do business with them - I'd rather pay a higher price somewhere else than to be treated like garbage. I can say with almost 99% certainty that the nasty sales associate that my husband dealt with is the same person I dealt with today. Why the store would keep her on is beyond me - and yes, the store knows because we have both complained. If we were treated like this, I am sure many other customers have been treated badly as well. If you ever run into this nasty person - and you will know her by her attitude and tone of voice, request to speak to management immediately. read more

Horrible experience! We bought a refrigerator from them and the delivery guys broke my storm door. It's too long of a story but know it took me 23 calls (I kept a log) to 3 managers over two months to finally get my door fixed. Keep in mind we were trying to sell our home at the same time and the broken door wasn't helping the cause. I will NEVER buy anything from lowes ever again. No one cares, no one has ownership of the problem and no one follows through or keeps their promises. read more

I have never encountered more problems with ordering online from Lowe's. I ordered an ac unit and they didn't show up on the day of delivery. I took off work to be here and they just didn't show up. Then the ac unit wasn't a right fit, so I had to return it. Again, they never showed up for pick up, and I lost another day of work/pay. I couldn't get ahold of anyone in the store that could help me. I had to call the 800 customer service line over ten times trying to figure out how to get this returned because no one would answer the phone at the store. I've never been so frustrated with a company in my life. Finally, I got ahold of the manager and she was so rude acting as though it was my fault. Cooperate was supposed to have their VP call me with how bad all of these interacts have been, but to my surprise, he never called. I decided to use Home Depot for my home appliances and they haven't disappointed. Do not use Lowe's here. Awful, rude, and you'll have to take at least 4 days off work since they can't figure out delivery/ pick up operations. read more

This Lowe's needs to consider shutting its doors. They have no employees working nor do they answer their phones. We placed a large order online for delivery (830-1030am arrival) and by 1pm I physically drove to the store because I couldn't get anyone to pick up a phone. No one here knows what is going on - they said a truck broke down? I asked why they couldn't call since I have contractors at my house waiting? Business must be very good for that little care about my several thousand dollar order. read more

Being a contractor I am a definite regular here. It is conveniently located near my house so that it is an easy go to place to grab stuff at the beginning of a day. The staff is good, and I have gotten to know some of the employees here over the years. Also don't forget if your a veteran or an active duty military that you are eligible for 10% off all purchases year round. I take advantage of this on a regular basis. Wow, this place is silly. No one here seems to know what's going on in the land of home renovation. I had a few simple questions about grout and getting answers was like pulling teeth. First I had to navigate through tumble weeds to find someone. None of the employees can function without their little touch screen devices. I literally just wanted to know where the grout tools were and they couldn't answer me without looking it up. Turns out it was right behind me. Not the brightest crayons in the box. This company is terrible. You cannot get through to the right person when making a phone call, and their service providers are inefficient and unreliable. My washing machine has been broken for a week and no one has even come out to look at it yet. I thought I got a good deal on the appliance only to find out that I would waste time and money heading to a laundromat for over a week. The service provider has changed the appointment three times. Save yourself time and aggravation and go to Wickford Appliance. Their appliances aren't perfect but at least they send repair techs out quickly and they are very efficient. read more

After spending almost $5000 on a shed from Lowe's they contracted it out to Heartland. In August the shed was delivered and built in our yard. We paid extra for it to be painted and secured down to meet local Code. It was painted the wrong color and the tie downs installed wrong. The next day we complained to both Lowe's and Heartland. It is now end of October and nothing has been done and based on tie downs did not pass inspection. Lowe's has done nothing but lip service and Heartland has told me not to call back and hung up on me? Now this is the corporate Offices that I am talking about. There seems to be nothing you can do to get what you paid for. DO NOT use Lowe's and stay far away from Heartland. read more

I went to Lowes to buy two paint samples and a pumpkin. After our cashier rang out the two paint samples, she had no idea how to ring in the pumpkin. NO CLUE. Didn't page anyone, tried to call the garden section but they didn't answer. After standing there for ten aggravating minutes, we said forget it we don't want the pumpkin. I know she isn't new because I have seen her in there before. Lowe's needs to do a better job training their employees because they just lost a sale, forget it I will now go to a local farm for all of my pumpkin needs forever. read more

Usually have a very good experience at this store, but lately it seems like it's going down hill. I went there to purchase major appliances for my home and had no issues with the associate that helped me. My issues began when the delivery company began calling my daughter to verify MY delivery. My daughter doesn't live with us and has a separate phone number. After calling Lowes and asking them to correct it, they advised they would. When the delivery came, the driver unloaded 4 out of my 5 purchases. The truck driver stated that's everything the Lowes associate had loaded on the truck. The one item that wasn't delivered was of course the one I needed the most. After calling Lowes yet again, they assured me my washer machine and hoses would be delivered first thing and apologized for the oversight. Sure enough the delivery came and this time they were missing the hoses to connect the washer! Needless to say there was a lot of back and forth and unnecessary follow up for this purchase. Next time, I'll go somewhere else when I need appliances delivered. read more

I was quoted for replacement window installations today. The store was advertising $99 installation with free delivery and haul away within 20 miles of the store. I live 11 miles from the store. Not only did they charge me for the delivery $65 and disposal $50 but the installation ended up costing 5X's as much as the advertisement when all the incidentals were figured in. When I told the sales person that I would pick up and dispose of my own windows he tried to talk me out of it but I persisted. Then when he showed me the actual sample window I pointed out that the advertisement for the $99 installation said free delivery / haul away under the $99 advertised price. He started telling me how he had to pay "his" people to deliver and dispose of the windows. I told him that was really not my concern and I was going by what the advertisement said. He said he could talk to the manager for be. I was like "are you kidding?". Here it is in black and white. He said well we already took the charge off and I mentioned that that was because I told him I did not want to pay the amount and would pick up and dispose of the windows myself. All in all I felt that Lowe's installation advertisement for $99 was totally deceitful and misleading. The sales man (#1252992) was showing dissatisfaction with me the whole time to the point that I said to him I was not trying to be difficult but rather was just shocked at the price and just trying to understand all the additional costs. so i am going to build a deck. (love my honey to do lists) i call home depot they have a project rep that calculates the demensions and gets all the material and then you pay they deliver GREAT. so the gentlemen gives me a quote over the phone states its ball park. Ok understand so im like sounds great i want to place the order. He said no problem let me complete it and i need you to sign off on it. well i call at 12 let him know i havent heard from him and said he was at lunch he has everything when he gets back he will call me. great no problem. so 3pm didnt here anything i call and he left for the day. i explained he was going to order my lumber i needed to start project. i spoke to a supervisor. the next morning i get the fax FINALLY. i run there make the payment and he gives me 5 days out for delivery (we had discussed i needed for Friday to start project) so he gives me an attitude and i told him if you did your job the day before this wouldnt be an issue. needless to say he gets the delivery for next morning. awesome. he states delivery will deliver right to the back yard. let him know its fenced in. THAT IS NOT THE CASE. it is what they call drop delivery well for 60 bucks i had a truck i could have dropped delivered myself. ok i will live. The wood was junk it was warped wet just not good. I will be going to HOME DEPOT from now on. read more
